We were visiting from Austin and found the perfect place for date night: dinner, elevated cocktails, a cigar bar. The cocktails are exquisite - elevated craftsmanship. I got the mezcal old fashioned. The menu is spectacular: from sliders to espagueti poblano, so good! If you’re looking for light dinner and drinks type of vibe check it out. This place should be fuller on a Saturday night.

Ruben is an outstanding bartender. Friendly, attentive, and his service alone makes this place worth visiting. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if Ruben's working.

The staff, food, drinks, and ambiance are outstanding!! Eric the bar manager is the best and makes the most incredible drinks. The food is delicious and the servers are so friendly. Such a gem of a place. Try the Naked and Famous cocktail, you will not regret it!

I absolutely love the food, the chef is amazing and you can’t go wrong with anything! Bar and wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. But the best is the bar staff, they are well verse and attentive to everyone. I absolutely love Abby the bar manager she will make sure you have an amazing service and you can easily ask for her to surprise you and she will nail it everyone. Trigger the bartender, he is so knowledgeable and really exceptional bartender. You can’t go wrong with anyone here. Do not forget to play some poker and have some fun. They even have classes to teach newcomers. You will always have a good time here. That was my original review. Now 8/26/24 since I’ve found out Abby is no longer there and neither is the amazing chef. They were both let go after being there since before it opened and devoted plenty of hours and going beyond their job description. They definitely lost what made them stand out. Probably won’t be back. What a shame.

Eric is the kindest, most hardworking bartnder I’ve ever encountered. Including all other bars I’ve visited. He’s very knowledgeable on both alcohol and the food menu, keeps the bar clean, and the party going! The ambience of the establishment is also amazing. Definitely recommend, go visit and ask for Eric at the bar!

The design and aesthetic on the inside is amazing. The bartender was incredibly sweet and attentive. I was in a bar but could actually hear the conversations going on without yelling, and when our waitress found out I was celebrating my graduation with friends, she made sure our experience was one for the books.

Went for my wife’s birthday, for some drinks. Very surprised with the service from the bartender. Suggested a bubbletini for my wife and it was delicious! Stay long enough and ordered food, delicious again! The atmosphere is great. Weather you out for a fancy dinner or to watch a game, l recommend this lounge.

This place is great. The small dining area up front gives a quaint feel to it. The food tasted amazing and the bartender was on top of not only our table with drinks but everyone else and not to mention the bar patrons. The only gripe I have, and this is subjective was the steak I ordered was not medium rare, but more on the medium side. I don't make a big fuss of things and it tasted amazing nonetheless. The atmosphere was great as aforementioned. One thing was the music was a bit loud to be holding a conversation with who you were with. Other than that, this place is a must go for at least the food that's not to mention the vast selection of drinks they have and the back room cigar lounge as well. Will be going a gain soon.

Hands down one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. We were the only customers in the place, yet the service was horrible from the moment we arrived. The server/bartender was rude, dismissive, and acted annoyed when asked for something as basic as a drink refill. The only time he showed any level of attentiveness was when the apparent manager was present — once they were gone, so was any effort or professionalism. Despite being the only table, our food took over an hour to come out, with no explanation or apology. This was the first time in my life I’ve ever left a zero tip, and it was absolutely earned. What made it worse? The server/bartender noticed and actually followed us out to our car just to give us a sarcastic thumbs-up. Completely inappropriate, uncomfortable, and beyond unprofessional. Save your time and money. This place clearly has no standards for service or behavior. I will not be returning to the McAllen, TX. location!
