This place is a hidden gem. The pizza is delicious - quality ingredients and crisp, perfect crust! The “Open” sign and outside lights have been off lately, and my husband and I are concerned people won’t know they are open for business! We want this place to stay in business because it is our ‘go to‘!

Some of the best Chicken Alfredo I've had. Kid working the front treated me like family! Got me anything and everything I asked for, whatever he's making isn't enough. Need more people like him in the world

Palio Pizza Cafe in McKinney, Texas, offers a delightful dining experience, especially when it comes to their Harabara Chicken pizza, which tastes fantastic. While I only experienced their takeout service, which was efficient, I imagine dining in would provide an even better glimpse into their offerings. Overall, Palio Pizza Cafe is a great spot for delicious pizza in McKinney.

We ate in AND also ordered two sandwiches to go for other family members. Although we thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and Ceasar salad at the restaurant, the sandwiches that were to go were less than good. The meatball and cheese had the TINY meatballs that you get in a frozen bag from Costco. Only three meatballs per 1/2 sub. For the price AND given the tiny meatballs should have had more. Also, the to go Italian sub was ALL bread and the thinnest slice of meat. Very disappointing! Additionally, I read a review that was submitted 7 months ago where the soda machine was out of order. That soda and ice machine has not been repaired. They do offer CANS of soda.

I’m not sure why but the patio was in total disarray and trash everywhere and they just opened. Their drink /ice machine wasn’t working and it was quite warm in the restaurant. I’ve been to several Palio’s and this one isn’t it. Pizza was so bland as well.

We orderedered two large pizzas and a pasta.. The pizzas were fine, but the Arabiatta Pasta was quite terrible. It was loaded with burnt tomatoes and pieces of chicken just thrown in it. There was hardly any sauce in the pasta and was very dry.

I visited this place for the first time today with the intention of enjoying a dine-in pizza experience, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. Although the pizza looked visually appealing, the taste did not meet expectations. The staff didn’t seem very friendly or proactive in offering assistance. I had to ask for basic condiments like sauce, which should have been provided without request. Additionally, the soda machine was not functioning, and the ice machine appeared to need cleaning. Overall, the experience fell short, and I hope improvements are made in both service and quality.

The person who picked up the phone at the restaurant (maybe the manager) said that said that it's interesting to know that it was a long strand of hair in the slice of the pizza but, only men were working in the kitchen the night before when I picked up the pizza. No apologies nothing of that sort. The person said that he will communicate this to his cooks in the kitchen. Is this a restaurant business for real ? Totally disgusting and ridiculous behavior. What kind of ludicrous thing is that? Not once has my Palio’s in Melissa done this discrepancy. I ask the cashier about this and she arrogantly rebuffed me claiming that is how it is done. Upon looking at the other reviews of this place I find that this is a blantly lie. I am truly flabbergasted that I would be lied to like this and not offered to fix it to my liking. Please do not eat here. It may be a drive but the Melissa and Frisch location ACTUALLY care about there food and no give you hard cheese and call it the norm. Ridiculous

$50 to have 2 pizzas delivered. When they arrived they were barely lukewarm. We loved Palio’s when we first discovered it 20 years ago, but rarely order it anymore because they’re usually a disappointment.
