Red Hot Mckinney Reviews
I’ve ordered from here multiple times and this place consistently delivers some of the best Indian food in the area. Tonight I tried the Awadhi Chicken Biryani and Chicken Bhuna Masala (medium spice) along with samosas and naan, and everything was outstanding. The biryani was exceptional. Long, fluffy basmati rice with beautiful spice layering, large, tender bone-in chicken legs, perfectly cooked potatoes, and a boiled egg. The portion size was generous and the flavors were aromatic without being overwhelming. This is the kind of biryani that gets better with every bite. The Chicken Bhuna Masala was rich, bold, and deeply spiced. It had that traditional reduced masala texture with oil separating slightly on top, which tells you it’s been cooked properly. Flavorful and balanced without being overly spicy. The samosas were crisp and fresh, with nice heat and addicting flavors. The naan had great texture although cools too fast & I want more! One thing I really appreciate is that they wrap their containers with plastic to prevent spills during delivery. Small detail, but it shows they care. Everything arrived hot, well packaged, and full of flavor. This has become one of my go-to spots, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend. 12 outta 10!
Hands down the best North Indian restaurant in town. We have been coming regularly and today we ordered shahi paneer and malai kofta, they both were incredible. The service staff is always warm and friendly and the restaurant is v well maintained. Keep up the great work!
Excellent Service and tasty food. i made an uber eats order but placed it at the wrong location, when uber chose not to help me, Rohit from Red Hot, called me and made sure my order was sent to the correct address. His desire to actually help a customer enjoy their food made all of the difference. Red Hot is a top quality indian food restaurant. I’ve had the garlic naan, buttery samosas and Butter chicken - fantastic food and generous portions. Thank you Rohit!
My husband and I love Indian food. We were told about this place by a friend, so we decided to try it. The food did not disappoint. I tried the Chicken B'huna Masala, and my husband tried the Chicken Coromandel. Both dishes were fabulous. What i liked about the Masala was the caramelized onions , basil, and the sauce was thicker than traditional curry sauce. My husband really liked his Coromandel but I noticed he kept helping himself to mine. It did take a little longer for the food to be cooked. Be prepared to wait, or place the order to go. You guys will be in for a treat!
This place is so delicious!!! And it’s consistently good every time we order or go in. Definitely get the tandoori chicken momos for an appetizer. If you typically like butter chicken, then go for the chicken makhanwala here. We always get it with a side of rice and garlic naan. The serving sizes are shareable. I rarely leave reviews; this place is just that good.
Tried Red Hot McKinney and loved how it brings the best of both world’s Chinese and Indian flavors on one menu. We ordered Hara Bhara kebab ,Hakka Noodles, Paneer ,Naan, and Sizzling vegetables and every dish hit the spot. The noodles were perfectly tossed, the naan soft and flavorful and that sizzling paneer stole the show with its rich, spicy kick. Even though it was a busy, rushy day, the hospitality was warm and attentive, which made the experience even better. If you’re craving a mix of Indo-Chinese and classic Indian dishes, this place is definitely worth a visit.
I am soooo thankful I checked this place out!!! The menu is HUGE, it can be a little overwhelming but there is something for everyone. The chicken tikka masala is rich and pairs perfectly with the rice. The fire cracker chicken has a crispy exterior and a juicy interior with lots of flavor. I love how light the naan is and the dumplings are also great. We ordered a ton of food for the first time but we will def be coming back to try new stuff! 10/10!
This place hit the spot on all fronts!! Amazing food- everything tasted so good!! Service was next level. This is unheard of for Indian restaurants! Shout out to Jhansi who went above and beyond! We had the sweet corn chicken soup, Buhari chicken, chicken with Manchurian sauce, chilli garlic noodles. Definitely going back again. I really hope they stay consistent and keep the current standards!
This restaurant is exceptional! The Indian cuisine is some of the best I've ever tasted - the flavors are amazing and the portions are generous. I've both dined in and taken out, and both experiences have been wonderful. I highly recommend dining in, as the staff is incredibly polite and accommodating. They truly prioritize the customer experience. Thank you Indian Kitchen for making my family's dining experience so enjoyable!
This restaurant does not disappoint! The food is by far some of the best Indian food I’ve had. It’s flavorful and good portions. I’ve had take out and dine in. My experience has been wonderful. Highly recommend dining in. The staff is so polite and accommodating. They are definitely customer focused and that’s a plus. Thank you Indian Kitchen for a wonderful experience for me and my family.
If you're craving delicious flavors and a cozy atmosphere, this restaurant is a solid choice. The food tastes fantastic overall, but be wary of the chicken lollipop, as it might have a hint of raw flavor or batter inside. With limited space, expect a bit of a wait, but it's worth it for the chance to savor their diverse dishes with a group of friends. While prices lean towards the higher end, the clean plates and cutlery, along with attentive service, ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Service was quick and items ordered were packed well fo to-go. The items we ordered were from their Indo-Chinese menu. They were cooked well but we had hoped for better ingredients that go into each dish . Overall was just ok The spice levels on each dish were as per we had ordered and the standout dish which better than the others was the Man chow soup which the better half liked. The meal turned out to be a little pricier than our expectation .
We really wanted to find some Hakka food and this option came up. It is pretty good. The kids enjoyed the noodles. We ordered Hakka noodles, fried rice, schezuan fish, chili chicken, sweet corn soup and hot and sour soup. Everything was good. They do not take any reservations and the place is a bit small so do you expect to wait if you’re going on the weekend.
Ordered the Samosas, chili garlic noodles with chicken, and the Tikka Masala. The Samosas were very good. The noodles were very tasty. The portion size is huge. I would skip adding the chicken. The Tikka Masala was also very good. It wasn't spicy at all. I wish it was. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. I'm not sure if it's a cultural thing, but we didn't get any ice for our bottled water (water was room temperature). I noticed can sodas behind the counter, so I don't know if there are free refills or not. I definitely will be back.
I ordered take out from Red Hot earlier, Dined in past and food was good, but today it was different. I ordered, paneer Makhhanwala, Gobi Munchurian, Garlic noodles, munchow soup and Naan for take out. Today it took extra time to chew the Naan's, 😉 Naan has to be fluffy soft but not chewy. Paneer Makhhanwala is by nature mild to medium recipe but today it was super spicy felt like hot Chinese Paneer 😀 Gobi Muncurian was ok, not tasting like in the past. Munchow soup was mediocre. Garlic noodles were realy good. I am not sure if chefs is changed tonight. Not happy
I ordered total 7 items - hot and sour soup, pan fried chili paneer, Szechuan fried rice, veg Manchurian gravy, 2 Hakka noodles and chili paneer gravy. Paneer was like hardest rubber and tasted stale 🤮 Noodles were tasted like only boiled and packed no flavor at all. Soup has too much corn starch added to thicken it. Manchurian was ok in taste but very less veg coins and only gravy was there. Fried rice was very weird in taste, hard to describe. I had to throw all the food. It was that horrible. I had tried their curries and breads, they were good but Indo Chinese is horrible, Please NEVER ORDER it. 137$ wasted !!!
I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt this might help a few people. We came here again because our first visit was good, but this time it was very disappointing. Almost everything had lot of excessive oil and no taste. The samosas seemed refried and were extremely oily. The chilli garlic noodles and buna chicken also had oil floating at the bottom and lacked flavor. After eating, I even felt nauseous with discomfort. The only decent dish was the tandoori chicken momos. Overall, the quality has really dropped.
Jan 2026 Such great reviews, so expectations were high. Ordered via Uber Eats and tried the Triple Schezwan and Crispy Corn. Unfortunately, both were almost tasteless, even at medium spice level. Not sure if it was an off day for the kitchen or if I picked the wrong dishes. Hoping this was just a one-time miss.
