Everyone says they have the Best Chicken Fried Steak in Texas. Jacoby's Cafe has the best Chicken Fried Steak I have ever eaten in my life. Simply amazing!

Cute hidden gem! Heard about this from the Texas daytripper episode about Brady, so have been meaning to go when we pass through the area when they’re open, and they did not disappoint! It was a decently busy place for how remote it is, but not loud/crowded feeling. The food was delicious! We did the combo platter for an appetizer which was onion rings, fried pickles, and fried jalapeños-all of which were delicious! Then split a chicken fingers plate which came with salad, toast, fries, and white gravy…definitely recommend! Wish we had room for dessert because the strawberry cake looked delicious!

This place is nothing short of amazing. The food was fantastic and perfectly fried. They had perfectly seasoned their batter for all the food and the service was tremendous. It’s off the beaten path but well worth the stop.

Let me tell ya, if you’re anywhere near Jacoby’s Cafe and craving good’ol home cooked meal, stop at Jacoby’s!! Was driving through to get to Austin and was looking for a dinner spot. Drove a mile or so out of the way and it was worth it!! The food was amazing! Hamburger Steak and Chicken Fried Steak were the best we’ve ever had! I would seriously consider making a day trip from Austin to go back. I can only imagine how great their steaks would taste! Besides the food, the atmosphere and hospitality were over the top! Thanks so much Jacoby’s Cafe…excellent meal!!

Not gonna lie, I found this place by doing a bit of cyber stalking a long lost colleague of mine. Turns out she runs this place. Figured if she was associated with it, the food was sure to be awesome. We happened to be passing through on the way to a wedding and stopped in. Food was great. Service was excellent. Glad to see shes still doing what she does best.

Great food and even better staff. Your Mom probably does not treat you as well as do the staff here. Meet me here most Mondays for the cheeseburger special with either French fries or onion rings, iced tea, and dessert included! I'll probably be back on Fridays for the catfish with coleslaw, beans, and your choice of another side. I usually go for some fried okra as I am old enuf to love real food! Tea and homemade dessert included with daily specials.

What an adorable hidden gem! Attended an event here of sangria competition in which summer salads were highlighted along with the prepared ingredients for making your own sangria. Pulling up to the store front, it is hard to imagine that this place exists in a jungle of dirt roads. The atmosphere is precious, clean, retro vibe that gives it a homey feel. The summer salads that were highlighted were the perfect combination of light, fresh, sweet and savory that gave a party on the taste palette. The selection of ingredients each team could choose from to produce their own unique sangria was extensive and well varied. The owner and wine selector were knowledgeable, friendly, and added to the overall experience. Fantastic selection of unique wines as well as a variety of sodas, and other NA drinks to select from. Thank you for the experience!

Everything I've tried was good. Limited hours and days, so check with the locals to see if they open. Breakfast is also really good.

Experiences are all good. We often sit at the counter. For those who drink they have beer and wines. They have done more around wines it seems. They have breakfast and lunch daily plus dinner on Friday and Saturday. There are lunch specials. I recall Monday is always a cheeseburger special. Very friendly staff. They bake their own desserts.

Discovered a hidden pearl, I had the chicken fried steak which is always my test in a restaurant like this and man was it good. I would rate in the top 5% of all the ones I have eaten, the fries that accompanied it were homemade and the white gravy was delicious. Topped it off with a magnificent piece of strawberry cake. It was definitely worth the 1.5 hour trip to get there. Service was good and the atmosphere was down home. Highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

Great Steak! Our table of 6 tried some of almost everything. Steak, salad, fried okra, onion rings, strawberry cake, pecan pie, german chocolate cake, cinnamon rolls, and the list goes on. Everything was amazing and down to earth. You need to know where you are going to get here - which means it's one of the best places. Cafe in a feed & seed surrounded by farm & ranch land.

Excellent Food and service. Everything is really fresh and well cooked and very tasty. The waitress is attentive and smiling. I also noticed they keep cleaning everything and everywhere. Cleaned restroom tells the kitchen is clean too. Very reassuring. Good job, we will return

WOW! If you want the real deal, fresh, flavorful burgers and good service, then this is the place to eat. The burgers are perfectly seasoned, and the fries and onion rings are delicious as well. And don't forget the homemade desserts. The coconut cream pie is outstanding!

Fantastic place in the middle of nowhere. Hard to find but worth going out of your way. The burger and chicken fried steak in particular were among the best we’ve ever had - the locally sourced beef was excellent. Beyond warm and friendly service.

Very clean with super friendly service. Patty melt was huge and delicious. The hand battered onion rings were the best. The stuffed hamburger steak was awesome. Definitely a recommended place to stop and eat...5 stars without a question.

Was very disappointed. We drove from Lampasas to eat here. My granddaughter ordered a hamburger that was so dry she couldn't even eat it and had vegetables on it that she asked them to leave off. My chicken fried steak was all breading with the the meat being the size of a hamburger patty, so was my daughters. The kc steak for 2 were average. Spent $160.00 for our meal and the drive definitely money not well spent.
