Un posto magico, una vista mozzafiato, un'atmosfera calda e accogliente. Una mangiata strepitosa, per qualità e quantità. Personale super gentile e simpatico. Tutto molto semplice e informale, siamo stati perfettamente a nostro agio dal primo all'ultimo istante. Un pranzo perfetto! Da tornarci!

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante scegliendolo per caso, ma ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! Ottima cucina, non troppi piatti, ma cucinati alla perfezione! Abbiamo anche preso il tiramisù fatto dallo chef, uno dei migliori mai mangiati! Servizio ottimo. Consigliatissimo

Ottima cucina regionale e personale molto cordiale. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto godere della vista (pioggia e nebbia) ma sicuramente é bellissimo mangiare in terrazza in una bella giornata di sole.

My favourite spot on the lake, this place is incredible. Food is great, staff is just fine, but the view is breathtaking. You need a car to get here and the drive is a bit tricky. It’s a narrow road up where you have to pay attention.

Loved our experience here. It was a further walk than we planned and Google maps had a hard time finding it. I will say, as a foreigner, it was a bit difficult because most of the staff was not fluent in English. However they were all great and patient with us. I would recommend this place.

What an experience it has been! We have had the carpaccio, pasta all'arrabbiata, deer, and the great tiramisu! With it we had a great redwine from lagrein region. The view and the service in addition! Just stunning! I would suggest you book a table in advance, which is no problem via WhatsApp. Getting there, may think of a taxi :) Grazie Mile!

An incredible experience! The food was delicious, we can recommend the rabbit, beef and the gnocchi, but I believe everything is just as good. The service was excellent and so was the view🌅 Truly recommend if you want an authentic experience by lake Como!

We chose the restaurant spontaneously, without reservation, on our way from the beach to the hotel, looking for a place to eat further away from the typical tourist ones where you pay mostly for the “view” and location, and we had a blast! The outdoor tables were all reserved, but the waiters quickly found a solution and moved two tables outside for us right at the entrance of the restaurant. The food was extraordinary, even the menu is short, it includes also vegetarian options and everything we tried was authentic and very tasty. Our daughter was craving pasta carbonara even not on the menu and her wish was met. The polenta with sage in melted butter and cheese was the best I’ve ever had. The view is spectacular. You can enjoy the lake from the quietness of the mountain, surrounded by a countryside atmosphere, smells and sounds. Magical. The road narrows as you get closer to the restaurant — it felt like an adventure to get there, and we were a bit worried about parking. But we breathed a sigh of relief when we arrived and saw that the parking lot was large.

Cozy spot near Menaggio Golf Club. The ravioli was fresh and delicate, and the polenta with venison rich and comforting. We also shared a brasato with mushrooms, excellent. Great local wine and a proper cappuccino to end. Friendly staff, great value.

We found this hidden gem near Menaggio by chance on Google Maps, and we were so pleasantly surprised! 🥳 The food & terrace views were AMAZING, and we especially loved the Beef Stew and Venison! The pork ribs were just a bit bitter due to the wine, but still tender and delicious!🥘😋 For dessert, we highly recommend the meringuata & tiramisu! 🍰The meringuata is a super refreshing and light Italian meringue + ice cream dessert and it’s delicious!😋

Our family has been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years! Not once has it ever disappointed us. Family owned and they always make you feel at home. Best food, view and service! Whenever I am visiting the area I make it a point to go multiple times. Don’t miss out on this place!

Come here. Now. So long as you have a car! Amazing food, rustic and rich flavours. The tasting platter of three different mains is excellent and low cost. As others have mentioned, the ribs are out of this world and more than make up for the slightly tricky drive up. The cherry on top is the view!!!

Location molto suggestiva fra i boschi, con una vista favolosa sul lago. I proprietari che gestiscono anche il servizio ai tavoli sono molto gentili e disponibili. Tutte le pietanze erano buonissime, tipiche del posto e casarecce. Consiglio per i gestori, più controllo Covid19.

Buon locale, a metà strada tra un ristorante è un crotto. Ottima selezione di antipasti di carne e terra. Spettacolare la polenta uncia, brasato e carne di cervo. Nel menù servirebbe un'offerta all'altezza anche per dolci di produzione propria, invece di limitarsi ad un sorbetto o macedonia. Servizio puntuale e cortese

La mia esperienza alla baita ha confermato le recensioni positive già scritte. Che dire... per il cibo, il panorama e la gentilezza dei gestori vale la pena andarci! Non vedo l ora di ritornarci con gli amici! Ps. È sempre bene prenotare.

We came to this restaurant for a family meal because of the views and it didn’t disappoint, they were amazing and the environment was very warm. The drive up is an experience and according to Google, you arrive 200 meters below were the parking area actually is so just keep driving up until you reach the end of the paved road. The food was also ok but I would say quite scarce, two people at the table had local sausage with potatoes and it was literally one sausage so the ended up having to ask for a first dish to complement. Prices are more than reasonable though so I would still recommend it. The staff was well mannered and kind so that is also something we have come to appreciate around the area as tourists are seen locally it seems as a nuisance.

This place has a million dollar view. Thought most of their dishes ranged from decent to very good. Their venison in red wine sauce was excellent, as was their chocolate lava cake (or whatever the Italian equivalent to lava cake is). The ravioli was good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the polenta. It seemed a little bland, though I'm not a huge fan of polenta to begin with, so that might just be me. Prices were reasonable. Nice mom-and-pop staff. Be warned, the drive to this location is a good example of winding European country roads. Definitely might make weak American drivers (such as myself) a little uncomfortable.

Siamo stati oggi per la prima volta. Che dire?? Bella pettinata... Posto molto accogliente e ben arredato. Gode di una buona vista panoramica con terrazza esterna dalla quale ammirare parte del lago sottostante. La strada per arrivarci non è comodissima, stretta ma ottimo parcheggio non custodito. Il locale oggi era molto affollato per l'evento delle frecce tricolori sul lago di Como. Ci accomodiamo e prontamente la signora viene al tavolo dicendo molto candidamente che non si potrà ordinare alla carta vista l'affluenza, ma verrà fatto una sorta di menù eguale per tutti.. Nessun accenno al prezzo o alle pietanze che verranno servite. Si parte con un antipasto variegato, tra prosciutto cotto salamini vari, sottaceti, insalata russa, insalata di riso, pomodori gratinati, involtini di melanzane, cipolle caramellate, per passare a un bis di primi fatti in casa, maltagliati panna e porcini(ottimi) e raviolini ripieni di carne e verdure burro e salvia. Dopo polenta uncia, accompagnata da, brasato di manzo, spezzatino di cervo e costine in umido. Infine il dessert si poteva scegliere tra macedonia , gelato o tiramisù.. I piatti non erano abbondanti, ma molto buoni e preparati in casa, i primi e i secondi deliziosi. Io che sono un uomo, ho potuto degustare tutto e ho mangiato molto. Ma eravamo in nove e le donne, antipasto saltato, mangiato e assaggiato qualcosa, ma molto poco in relazione al resto della compagnia. La nota dolente è ovviamente arrivata al conto finale.. 48 euro a testa senza vino, con caffè offerto. Un menù decisamente salato del quale sinceramente non siamo stati gli unici a commentare una volta usciti dal locale nel parcheggio, con battutine che arrivavano anche da un altra tavolata vicino alla nostra. Io capisco che per fare prima e offrire un buon servizio si sia deciso di fare un menu variegato e ampio per tutti i presenti, di modo da alleggerire la cucina e velocizzare il servizio, ma forse sarebbe stata cosa gradita, avvisare del costo e cosa si sarebbe mangiato a tavola.. Vedremo se tornarci. Peccato perché il posto merita.

Menù fisso per pranzo di compleanno a sorpresa. Quattro sottaceti in barattolo. Una polenta che non sapeva di nulla. Un pezzetto di stracotto di manzo coi funghi, insapore. Cervo bocconcini e costine presentate come specialità: lessate ed immangiabili. Torta di compleanno due crostatine fatte in casa. Imbarazzante il prezzo...location merita, bella vista. L'avremmo potuta vedere anche senza spendere uno sproposito. Contesto che se il menù è fisso il prezzo deve essere adeguato alla proposta e la proposta non deve essere studiata a tavolino per meglio guadagnare. Mi rincresce poteva essere una meta abituale....
