So convenient if you're in the area! The staff of always helpful, smiling, and god damnit people like them! 😁 Update 10/2025 They will now fill growlers regardless of what's been canned. This is a huge upgrade and I hope they don't change it back.

Great space with great beers. The friendly staff (Hi Matt!) go out of their way to make you feel welcome and get the beer that suits your taste. The empanada was also great. I'll be back!

Amazing place, superb vibe, with a great selection of fresh, local, beers of all types and a minimalist serving counter. Pretty cool hangout spot - one that Menlo Park needed and deserved! They have comfortable couches, and large shareable tables like German "biergartens", and also offer an assortment of board games to play with friends and family. No wonder the place was almost full when we went there. The pretzel was warm and fresh too, with authentic Bavarian mustard sauce on the side. Since it's a new place, one suggestion - it would be great to have more food options to choose from.

Barebottle is one of my favorite breweries so I was elated to see them open a spot in Menlo Park. Similar to all of their locations, this one is kid-friendly with a game room, lounge area and cool outdoor area. I enjoyed a Muir Woods IPA while my wife loved the wine. Great spot if you are in the neighborhood!

Great draft beer selection, and good sours too. Ample indoor seating and a couple big chairs for outdoor seating

Amazing brewery with a great vibe and great beers! Super cozy atmosphere. Our beertender, Eraan, was super friendly and awesome! Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in Menlo!

A fantastic place to hang out with friends! Even on a Saturday evening, there was plenty of seating available. All ‘All-Gender Bathrooms’. New pinball arcade games.

We hosted a ~80 person welcome party for our wedding at the Menlo Park Barebottle location. It was a perfect fit for our event. The space, beer (the best!), and service were all excellent. It suited that size group quite well, in our opinion; the party felt fun and busy without feeling crowded. Our not-so-beer-loving friends appreciated the delicious non-alcoholic and non-beer options available. Arranging the event was also quite easy and the people we spoke to were great with answering questions, setting up our music playlist, arranging the bar tab, etc.

Great brewery with a wide variety of beers. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are lots of games, pinball machines and even a video game console to entertain a group. There’s a decent amount of seating both inside and outside. The food options are limited, but I clued pretzels, empanadas and flat breads. Only disappointment is they close at 9pm on Mondays.

It would be hard to convey in a review just how wonderful Barebottle is. The beer and atmosphere are great, but nothing beats the wonderful staff here. Every single person who works at this location is genuinely kind, helpful, and makes the experience so special. This is our favorite place to grab a beer after a long day or to celebrate a special occasion thanks to the amazing staff. Thank you, Barebottle, for making such a great spot for the Peninsula community.

I'm a big Barebottle fan and have visited their various locations before this one opened. Great beers including amazing sours (my favorite!). The staff are always so friendly and happy to provide tasters and recommendations when there are new rotations. I booked the lounge area with with pinball machines and games for my birthday celebrations last week and the team were absolutely amazing. We opted to have our guests grab their own beers, but staff checked in with us throughout our time to make sure we had everything we might need! Enjoyable every time we visit, whether for big celebrations, a flight after work or a quick drink before dinner! 😄

Honestly 10/10. I’ve been coming here every Friday for the past few months and it’s become essentially a ritual now. After a hard week of work it’s really nice to come here and see familiar and helpful faces. Special shoutout to Nettie, who sees me walk in and knows what I’m going to order before I even get on line. The beer is excellent (cider too), the hummus is to die for, but truthfully what keeps me coming back is the fact that there are friendly & knowledgeable staff that always treat me well. Thank you, Barebottle, for your excellent people & company. Looking forward to many more weekends with my favorite hummus, my favorite IPA, and honestly one of the best bartenders I’ve met in Menlo Park.

Barebottle has become such a staple for me-- particularly the Menlo Park location. I always find that the service here is extremely friendly and helpful. It's nice to hear in-depth about their brews and get real recommendations. Brews themselves are delicious. I typically lean towards lighter beers, but even their stouts are awesome. I do find a bit more selection of food at this location vs Santa Clara, having really enjoyed the pizzas they offer here. Parking in this area can be a bit difficult, I recommend parking towards the CalTrain station and walking over. One star off for price, as this is a pricier experience. However, the ambiance, indoor/outdoor seating, and great service make this a safe bet whenever I'm looking for a fun place to take friends.

Mushroom empanadas were great. Veggie pizza was horrible. Good boardgame selection!

Nice vibe for a brewery - friendly and bright. The glass of red wine I had wasn’t great, it was fridge temperature so took a long time to be drinkable; I expect better for $15.30 (after tax, before tip). No ciders available either which was disappointing. This is probably what I get for going to a brewery when I don’t like beer, but hopefully the wine experience/value can be improved at least. Better food options would also be great but they allow outside food, so fair enough.

I’ve been to both the SF and now Menlo locations and I was impressed! They seemed to have a larger beer and cider selection than the SF location. I have to shoutout the staff, who were really attentive and cleared glasses and trays very quickly. That’s not something I’d expect from a typical brewery. The beers and food were good, albeit a bit pricy, but it’s Menlo Park so I’m not complaining too much. Definitely would return if I was in the area.

The beer here is great as are all the employees. However, they should consider changing their name to Baby Bottle Brewing Company seeing as there were as many babies and children there as adults. The children were noisy and running all over the place while the parents enjoyed their drinks. For those without children, it created a stressful, non-relaxing atmosphere. I have been to the Santa Clara location multiple times where there are no kids.

This space is pretty, and has wifi, but they have some kinks to work out for sure in their service and offerings. I was excited they offer multiple wines, so I asked whether they allow the tasting pours of the wines as well as beers, which are listed on the menu at $4-6. They said yes, so I ordered two tasting pours of the wines, a white and a red, and a pretzel. Then the bill was $34! I was holding up my friends from ordering so I didn’t dispute it, but charging that much higher than the clearly listed price on the menu is shocking. Even the full size glasses are listed on the board at $7-9, with pretzels at $5, so it shouldn’t have been nearly that much. Also, they don’t adjust the sizing between the beer and wine pours for tasting. Normal wine tasting pours are about one or two ounces, and they gave me five ounces of each, which is way more than I wanted. The white wine was very one note - it didn’t really have any depth, just tasted like honey. The Barbera was very dark and bitter. The food was super slow to come out, and not tasty. The pretzel was so over baked it was hard to break and chew, and my friend’s empanadas did not taste authentic at all. The chicken ones were so spicy that they just tasted like plain black pepper, and rather than having pulled chicken inside like most empanadas, they used diced, which really messed with the texture. I’d really like to see them: 1. Get better food that actually goes with their drinks 2. Have accurate pricing with no sticker shock 3. Adjust their tasting size to standard tasting pours 4. Improve the quality of wine offerings 5. Add back pillows to their outdoor furniture 6. Offer tasting notes to go with their flights so you know what you’re drinking Unless you live at Springline, or are a major beer aficionado, I wouldn’t go out of your way to go here. The train is also really loud nearby, so it’s hard to have a relaxing conversation.

Couldn't enjoy the beer as the smell of the Fabuloso cleaner they were using was overwhelming. When I asked one of the employees if he was using it, he stated he "sure was". Won't be going back.
