Arthur's Restruant Mentone Reviews
I absolutely love this place. The staff are incredibly kind very attentive and the food is phenomenal. This is definitely a must try place.
These guys are my favorite breakfast spot. Im never disappointed. Staff are very friendly and service was fast. I would highly recommend. Had the steak and biscuits with gravy. Of course I will be back.
Arthur's is a breakfast staple of the Redlands community. The food and servers are top tier. The food servings are a good size and the servers are kind and very attentive.
First time here and it was a great experience. Food was good and people really friendly kind of family atmosphere. Military cool.
I got the 10oz pork chop and it was probably the best pork chop I've had. It wasn't stewd in jam so it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and the cranberry sauce was well made. The chop was juicy and cooked perfectly, if I had to say one bit of criticism it would be that the hash browns weren't as crispy as I like but I'll be asking for them well done next time. Will definitely come back again.
Not a very long wait. Old style Cafe. Great staff and atmosphere. Recommend the waffles and coffee cake. Absolutely amazing.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! The servings were large, and the atmosphere was very homey. We would definitely come back here again.
This restaurant is in an unexpected place! Its walking distance from a prominent SDA church with humorous parking, dinning, and patio. The unexpectation comes from the food and service. There is a toss up between the two. The service is as pleasant and attentive as the food is so fresh anf homy. Ashley, the owner is as attending as the rest of the staff. You will shortly be signed out as to be carted to.
If you're looking for a charming breakfast spot in Mentone, this is the place to be! The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The owner is equally fantastic, always engaging with customers and ensuring everyone has a wonderful experience. Not to mention, the food is simply excellent, especially the signature bloody Mary which is a must-try. You won't leave disappointed!
My favorite place to eat in mentone California highly recommend the Chile verde omelet it is absolutely delicious and asked them to make it spicy if you are into spicy food you will not regret it, went back today 3/1/25 was craving the chile Verde omelette and it was absolutely delicious thanks for the amazing service and food 👌🏽
After Yard saling, my husband and I stopped in to Arthur‘s for breakfast for the very first time. We agreed that this restaurant must be good because the parking lot was packed.. As we entered, We were warmly greeted by the hostess. Then quickly seated and brought drinks. We let our server know that it was our first time. She was super friendly from the start, and very helpful with all of our questions. The pumpkin coffee creamer was homemade and so good. I ordered the Cowboy eggs Benedict. And my husband ordered chorizo and eggs. Everything was amazing. And their prices were reasonable. I even took home left overs. We can’t wait to be able to go back and visit again. I wish that I could remember our servers name…she was so sweet.
We saw St Patrick’s Day special on Facebook and went to try it. They close at 1:30PM on Saturdays and welcomed us in at 1:10PM as well as other guests after us. The Irish Potato Hash was delicious, I added gravy on top! My wife had a senior breakfast with 1 egg, 1 sausage, home fries and toast (English muffin). I had coffee and my wife had a screwdriver. We shared a cinnamon bun square that had icing & butter on top. There was a full bar separate from restaurant area. The staff were all friendly and attentive! Reasonable priced!
I have passed by this place hundreds of times and finally came here. Parking is ample, but the traffic of people coming and going may be a little hazardous. Upon entering, the decor and atmosphere are very friendly, quaint and cozy. Staff greeted us promptly and we sat down at a table near the windows. Service was fast and nice. We had a coffee, Bloody Mary, Chicken Fried Steak, Pancake Combo, Hashbrowns, Sourdough toast, eggs and bacon. The food was hot and delicious, they even heat up the syrup for the pancakes. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing by; try the Bloody Mary; they also have beer, some cocktails and shots of vodka, tequila and rum.
I was on my way to Barton Flats Campground and had been on the motorcycle for hours. I was hungry, sweaty, and exhausted. I came across this no frills place with a dated interior but plenty of character. The staff brought me a tall glass of iced tea almost before I had a chance to sit down. I then noticed the back of their t-shirts: NO WHINING. My kinda place. I ordered one of the specials, a chicken fried steak sandwich. Fried egg, lettuce, tomato, green onion, Swiss cheese, and a side of gravy for dipping. Gravy sounds excessive, but omg it's not. Sooo good. Somebody deserves a medal for coming up with this sandwich. The home fries were thinly sliced taters with all the fixings. Cheap prices, great service, amazing food, and a motto I can identify with. I really like it here.
My new favorite breakfast place in Cali so far! I really loved the Jose' Scram. The blend of sausage, eggs, and Ortega chile was sooo good, with their potatoes well done. Although, biscuits and gravy don't really match the scram I got, I had to try it, and it did not disappoint at all! I was stoked that there were multiple creamer choices, but the coffee was a little too light for my taste. The restaurant is dated, but it was very cozy and homey and the customer service was great. I give the bathroom a 2 out of 3. Again, it was dated and also placed in a weird location in the restaurant.
This is a great place located off Highway 38, coming down from Big Bear mountain. This local Restaurant has been serving great food and offering hospitality to locals for years. Their food is fresh, made from scratch, and always on target. I had the chorizo and eggs today. I added avocado and salsa. Everything was perfect! They can also handle large crowds being they cater to thousands every year during skiing season. Give this local favorite a try!!! You won't go wrong on whatever you choose to order. Convenient handicap accessibility as well!!
The amount of food you get here is worth it. The servers were very friendly. We sat out back in the patio area. The atmosphere does need a lil help. It felt like we were eating at a vfw. Overall great experience and we'll be back. FYI the Cuban Sandwich is a Monster!!!
It was a great experience here. Breakfast plates are huge! We ordered two dishes with one of their famous cakes, and finished only half of our orders. Gravy dish was amazing. The chile verde omelette was even better, all flavors totally balanced. The only reason for reducing 1 star is the cake which was TOOO sweet, even for me with a sweet tooth. It felt like 10 grams of sugar per bite, and we couldn’t enjoy it at all. I couldn’t have more than 2 bites and we left the rest. Great atmosphere and vibes as well.
My husband and I decided to go to Arthur’s because we had heard good things about their food. We both got the same meal, two pancakes, two pieces of bacon and two eggs. Our meal was very good. They have a bar with two tables for eating, an outdoor patio and a dining room. The restaurant is old and could use some sprucing up but it is clean. It’s a popular place, good sized portions.
Went here for breakfast because another place was closed down the road. The parking lot was full and so was the restaurant. My friend and I both ordered "the special" Flat Iron Steak and Eggs. The steak was cooked to cook, tender and flavorful. It came with home cooked potatoes with peppers and onions and my choice of tortillas. The service was good although the waiter forgot my friend's Iced Tea. I asked another waitress about the Tea and she promptly brought it. The serving was hearty and I doubt you go away hungry. Menu is simple with a good selection. Its family owned and the pride of food really shows. I look forward to sharing this place with family and friends. Must try!
Food tasted like basic breakfast diner. The caramel apple coffee cake was a bit burned, but the best thing I tasted there. Food was mid, but service and atmosphere was amazing! Such great staff. They definitely worked as a team. Servers had their own sections, but they helped each other out and everyone was delightfully positive. Clean restaurant, and parking was good even with it being busy.
We have loved Arthur's as a go to for years however it seems the last few times we have come they are always chatting amongst themselves and aren't as attentive. Food come out cold with the gravy already congealed on top. I waited for 10 minutes at the register to pay while the three waitresses were talking and looking over at me standing there. I won't be returning anytime soon.
have breakfast this morning the service sucked the bartender had an attitude. They just kept on walking by you even if you have wanted coffee refill, they ignored you. I would never go there again. Servise sucks.
