This location has always done their best to do their best for the customer. I wish they could get some more help and maybe a new headset/speaker. Lovely employees and the food is always tasty for what you are ordering.

I don't know what happened to this place but the patties definitely got smaller and the overall burger is way sloppier. Been coming here for over 10 yrs and I was shocked with my order recently. I hope this doesn't become the norm because the new burger spot next door looks to be taking all the business. Gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and will try again another day but this last time was unacceptable for how expensive it is here

I always liked their burgers and the food is decent, it's just the prices are the same as a sit down restaurant. Sooner or later they are going to price themselves out of business. $18-20 for a combo meal??? Ridiculous. No thanks.

The cashier was very distracted talking to other employees so I had to repeat myself multiple times. I got my burger and I will let the picture speak for itself.

I usually have no issues with Carl's JR!! This visit was an exception. The western burger was extremely dry, very little bbq sauce. The chicken tenders seemed to have been sitting for a while, they were cold and dried out , to top things off I was not offered nor did I receive any dipping sauce . The attendant seemed to be in a hurry or preoccupied. Maybe he was new ??? Hopefully the next visit will be the norm , great food and great service . P.S the side salad was great!!

A while back when I was asked what my favorite fast food restaurant was it was always Carl’s Jr. They’ve always had the best burger in town. But their prices have just gotten too high. This morning, I thought I would venture back in to try the breakfast special, two breakfast sandwiches for three bucks. However, I needed to use the restroom rather urgently when I came in the door. However, no one was at the counter. When someone finally did come, the manager, I was told I needed to order something first. I told her it was urgent! She just turned around and said she was sorry. I waited. The urgency subsided a bit but was still present and could rage back at any moment. When the manager did come back, I had my phone out, my app opened up, but was having trouble finding the special that I wanted. I asked her if I could please just use the restroom and then I would definitely order from there! She just said that she didn’t have time to clean it if it was dirty and that I would have better luck going next-door to McDonald’s! At that point, I didn’t want to eat there anymore anyways as I had lost my appetite. The idea that the manager who is serving my food and working in the kitchen would also be the custodian cleaning up a potentially messy bathroom actually made me nauseous. I don’t think that’s even legal. Anyway, it’s very bad policy. I did make it to McDonald’s, fortunately. I was greeted with friendliness and compassion, and the bathroom door was opened immediately! I understand there’s a homeless situation here in Merced but does a Business really think that locking people out of the bathroom AND refusing to let them use it is the solution? I’M A SENIOR CITIZEN. I DRIVE A NICE CAR. I HAVE A NICE IPHONE. MY CLOTHES ARE CLEAN. MY HANDS ARE WASHED. MY FACE IS SHINING AND USUALLY BRIMMING EAR TO EAR WITH A SMILE BECAUSE I KNOW MY SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. I routinely assist those experiencing homelessness with food, rides to places, a cigarette or just someone to talk to to make their day a bit brighter. I’m not sure if my unfair treatment at Carl’s Jr was a one off or it’s become the policy or for some reason, I was perceived as less than human. Needless to say, I will never know because I will never be going back.

I come here all the time and the food is always good. Yesterday, my wife and I ordered our usual, California burger and a chicken club. The buns had a foul smell, the chicken was not cooked completely. We couldn't eat past the 1st bite. Last night, our restroom was busy. This is the only time we have had this problem here.

Undoubtedly the worst experience at a Carl's. I ordered the chicken BLT. Wow. Tough as a tire. I love Carl's. But wow this was bad

I love eating here but it really makes me mad. I ordered a simple Western bacon burger with large fries and a drink, but they gave me small fries, how can you miss that up. That point is if I am ordering it is there job to write everything down and give the right order out. The staff should work on not messing up the orders because I shouldn't have to pay for something I'm not going to get, and also having to check the food to make sure everything is there. Still a great fast food restaurant but they need to be aware of what they give out.
