Great new Wendy's off highway in the city of Mercedes. The restaurant has a drive thru, we went inside and it was very pretty and modern. Cashier was friendly and nice, our food was out quickly and as expected. Prices are fair for what we got.

Been here a couple times. Unlike the other reviewers, I don’t come here for the smiles or to chit chat with staff. I don’t believe this is fine dining like others may be expecting. Both times, my order has been on point and my burger fresh of the grill. Keep it up!
The guy that works here named Jesus is super sweet and outgoing I'm going back just bcz of him he's super cool we need more people like him in the world God bless his heart

Well spoken, attentive in offering options to customize each meal. It was late, the order wasn't small, there was a wait, his respectful updates made the wait breezy. Wendy's, this young man appears to have a most excellent future in whatever he chooses to pursue. Such righteousness should be praised.

The food is better late in the evening. Whoever is the late evening manager and cooks, kudos. Online ordering is awesome. I've never dined Inside, drive-thru is fast any time ive been through it. As someone who has been manager at fast food places many times, yall are great👏🏿

New building and extremely dirty already. An employee needs to be assigned to the dinning area!!!! A mess!!! No chairs pushed in...food all over the floors....meanwhile 12 employees in the kitchen. This is brand new.....how can it be like this already!!!!!!

Why repeat the order when you aren't going to get it right! Why ask to leave something off! Hmm maybe cheese is not good for them. Chicken BLT leave cheese off- gets food cheese! Bottom bun hard as a rock! Threw it away Spicy chicken - two small patties instead of a regular sized one.. Quality check all order pleas and make sure your customers have what the need so they don't need to go back. Straws hello drink it without the lid I guess
The saltines are always, ALWAYS STALE!!! The rest of the food is usually ok. What we've ordered anyway. They need to get into the habit that when it's a kiosk order, don't forget the drinks! There's usually more than a few employees behind the counter so thereshould be no need for the dining area to be in such disarray. Tables almost always need to be wiped down. Good area, nice place, but too often unnecessarily dirty! Could easily be 5 stars but they have to earn it!

Stay away from this place. They forget to give what you asked. And find things inside the burgers. I would highly not recommend this place. I ordered both online and went through drive-through, and they've gotten it wrong both times. This last time, I was missing a sugar cookie and found a piece of plastic in the food. If you get anything from this place, watch carefully what's placed in it.
Asked for manger twice never came never got our fries for our order told them twice
At 6:30am I ordered online. At 6:40 I drove up to the drivethru. A pleasant voice asked if I was picking up an order. That's the last thing she said. I drive up to the window and nobody ever showed up. I saw no movement inside. I left at 6:50. This is the last time that I'll ever visit the Mercedes, TX Wendy's again. I'm also cancelling my membership. This is also the first negative survey that I've ever given to any business.
Never get the food right , workers suck they just hire anybody it looks like , service is slow and just waste of time.
I picked up breakfast and when I got to work I started eating my breakfast sandwich and it was very crunchy, I opened up my sandwich and there was eggshells in it. I called to the restaurant and explained what happened and the young female manager hung up on me. I called back several times and she never answered again... I will be stopping by
I'm a foreigner who ate from there, and if I could give 0 stars, I would do it. Services sucks, food sucks. Even dealing with your own employees sucks. The manager sucks. The manager doesn't know how to manage. I don't even know why is he even a manager. If the manager see this, I hope you get fired from your job, you dont deserve to be a manager and own the name "manager" or "boss". You're unfair to your employees. The fact that there is no number and stuff it's a red flag.
They never get my order right! I have ordered here twice and both times I have to drive all the way back for missing food! Their job also is to make sure customers are getting what they ordered! If you can't get customers orders right, then we deserve a full refund because gas isn't cheap thanks to stupid Biden!
We placed our order at the wendys inside the pilot on hey 83 and received the wrong order completely. I know I should have checked but I'm used to the other wendys in town and they do a good job. On top of it all, there is no phone number to call back and let them know. Only teenagers up front. Seems like a lack of supervisors.
Went to order 4pc tenders combo w/ fries, took over 20 minutes to receive order. Note that 4 workers were behind the counter. 3 Doing the work, while the other was yelling at the staff at what to do with the orders. Would not recommend.
My friend and I went in to get some food and her WD-40. Which we were met with a girl posing as a manager refusing to go look/get my friends WD-40. The worker said she should have got it when the other GM was still working there. When we asked for another manager she refused saying “they would say the same thing” and walked away as we were still speaking to her to get what we needed.
so today my husband and I went in on our lunch break to order.. there wasn't anyone in side which was good. or so we thought. the young girl at the register was restocking crackers when she asked to take our order. my husband gave her his order and then I was trying to tell her what I wanted for my daughter. I asked her for the cobb salad. it didn't say what choices of chicken I had so I asked. I said can you get grilled chicken on the salad. SHE SAID NO. I asked again. So you only do crispy on the salads she said yes. I said well she wanted grilled but ok. She said they don't have grilled chicken. I then saw that they have the grilled chicken wraps and I asked so you have grilled chicken for the wraps but not the salad. Alright that doesn't make sense.. So I said ok also give me a #1 and while I'm ordering (shes not even paying attention) she called I guess the manager over and had him remove the salad. I said why are you removing the salad. She said you didn't want it. I said that is not what I said. I said that's not what she wanted but oh well. She started with an attitude and the manager told her to move and go do something else. I said ok so let me ask you , what chicken choices do you have for the salad.. Per her manager he said Spicy chicken. Crispy chicken and what do you know Grilled chicken..So yes my blood ran hot I said you know what since your worker basically lied or doesn't know what she is doing I'm going somewhere else. Train your employees correctly and also have the ones that actually want to work and provide good customer service to those who take their time to go in and purchase food . Like you are looking at a screen that is pre filled with the options for that item.. Yes it is hard to actually read a screen I know see that. Do better higher better.

The manager Bridget Aguilar is very hateful towards customers and her employees. Don’t know how she was hired to lead anyone when she needs an interpreter to communicate to her employees. Atmosphere wasn’t inviting. Employees looked miserable under her management.
