A young, family-run business that sells cochinita, suckling pig, and the famous "orange pork loin." The food is excellent, flavorful, juicy, and above all, it doesn't leave you feeling heavy, which is something you appreciate when eating cochinita and suckling pig. The owners are very friendly and helpful, always ready to deliver a well-served, warm torta or taco. Their bread is fresh and crispy; it's well worth the wait. Although it's not on the menu, you can occasionally find freshly made homemade desserts, as well as ice pops of various flavors. P.S. While enjoying the torta, I was told a curious fact: the name Cerdito San alludes to the "Karate Kid." Just as Daniel Larusso was called "Daniel San" by his teacher, the name itself has the same logic... it's "CERDITO SAN."
The best cochinita pibil in all of Yucatán! It's totally worth it if you're coming from the airport and want to experience authentic Yucatecan cuisine at an excellent price and with great flavor. With a varied menu and good service. 100% recommended 😍
