Pizza so greasy that I can slick my hair back...like I can collect it in a bottle and have a months supply. The pizza bread is soggy.

Ordered two pizzas for pickup. We all noticed the lack of toppings on the pizzas. My slice of pepperoni/Canadian bacon pizza had part of a pepperoni on it. The grilled chicken pizza had a good amount of toppings on half the pizza, on the other half it was hard to find the toppings. It looked like some of the slices were just cheese pizza.

I ordered a Pizza today and on the app it said that a door dash driver was going to deliver my Pizza when I met the driver he told me if I would tip him and I was like I already tipped through the app then he continued saying well papa johns doesn't tip us. This is the second time I've heard this from papa johns passing the orders to door dash now the drivers are demanding tips So what happens when I tip online?

I called this morning to order a thin crust Garden veggie pizza. The young lady said it would be 27 -37 min which was fine. At 1258 I called to see where order was at, spoke with manager and he said its on its way. ***The driver shows up finally and I was at door, got the pizza and went straight to kitchen, opened lid, grabbed a piece took a bite...IT WAS COLD%#!?... So I turned oven to warm it up. I know I could gave nooked it but it's not the same as a fresh pizza from oven. I never ordered from "this"PaPa John's loc ation before but willing to try 1 more time... $$Then if need be go back to their competition. I order pizza a lot $$$$

The pizza itself is good, the delivery time is good but the worker whom takes your order by the name of Ashley at the mesquite location off of belt line road is very rude. She actually slammed the phone in my face because I politely asked to speak to the manager. She lacks customer service skills and makes the restaurant look bad because of this.

Didn’t get all my food and my drink ! Called until they closed but no one answered , dude delivered my food and I waited on the rest and he got in his car and left …… I need my food either or my money back it is 11:09

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS LOCATION. I've had nothing but problems with this store since they started using Door Dash for deliveries. When something goes wrong, both companies blame each other and will not accept responsibility. Several times, I have only received half of my order. I haven't ordered from this store in some time because of this but I decided to take a chance and boy do I regret it. Tonight, I ordered through the app and on the app, the delivery driver claimed I was not available and took my order back to the store. I never saw a driver or even got a phone call from the driver. I called the store and they said they would make my order again. After 2 hours from my original order time, I called to cancel the order because it had not been delivered and they would not cancel it and kept telling me they would not give me a refund. I then spoke with a manager, and she could only tell me that they were waiting on door dash. I asked her about a refund and again all she would keep telling me was that they were waiting on door dash. I asked her who I could speak to about getting a refund and she couldn't tell me when the lead manager was working next or even who the owner was for this location. I asked her if there was someone I could speak to such as a district manager in corporate and she said they didn't have anyone in corporate I could speak to. I finally got half of my order 2 hours and 30 minutes after I originally ordered. Got the second half of my order 30 minutes later after I called and complained again.

I ordered the New York style pizza and it was nothing like a New York style pizza. It was doughy and Soggy and terrible. And I ordered a side of the cinnamon bites also terrible. It is really sad nowadays the quality of food is going downhill.

Just had worst customer service experience dealing with the manager Crystal. Called in and placed our order and questioned the fees and taxes which didn't add up which clearly irritated her. Once we got the price situated she hung up on us and failed to ask us how we were paying. When the driver arrived (btw his cs was impeccable) he was very patient and tried to do his best to fix the situation. When we called the store to pay for the pizzas (one pizza was wrong) she preceded to tell us that WE should have told her how we were going to pay. When we tried to explain that the pizza was wrong and that she should discount the order for the inconvenience and for her error she said again that it was OUR responsibility to tell her how we were paying and that they would need to take the pizzas back and we would then need to place another order and wait an additional 30/45 minutes for them to be redelivered. Considering this is a school night and that was going to be our kids dinner that wasn't an option for us! Papa John's you need to do better with how your employees handle problems like this!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE. They listed my order as delivered but did not actually deliver it. Then the manager said they could remake it but that there were other customers ahead of me and could not guarantee a quick delivery. Then, on top of all that, when I asked if I could at least get a soda for all the delays, they said there was nothing they could do. This store and its management is incompetent. They really could not care less about their customers.

I order from this location ALL the time.. I ordered a little over a half hour ago and they call to tell me - over a half hour after ordering - that the pizza I ordered is "sold out".. I said it would have been nice if someone would have called me sooner than 40 mins ago and the guy on the phone replies "actually, it was only 32 minutes ago.." are you serious?! I will not order from this location again. Horrible customer service, especially from someone who constantly orders from them.

Very disappointed and grossed out today I went to the papa johns store this evening at mesquite and ordered pizza I payed the cashier than sat down to wait for my pizza to be ready then I saw the guy who was making the pizza sneezed and wiped his nose and he even had the nerve to touch the dough and the toppings without washing his hands. Never going to buy pizza in this establishment the manager should be more strict to his employees.

If I could give this location zero stars I would !! I just ordered my pizza from this location. (“This is my first time in Texas by the way”) When I received my pizza it was flipped in the box and folded. It looked very disgusting and nasty they have to do better. Not a very nice first impression. I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!

They undercooked the pizza that was ordered on Uber Eats and when I called to get a replacement pizza since this one is still basically Del Nila or a girl, pretending to be the manager told me that that was not possible for them to remake the pizza that they did not cook all the the way. Easy way to be sued…. Several complaint about under cooked food, no gloves and bugs….. where is health code when ya need em.

Placed my food order in after a long shift at work, I didn't really have the energy to cook and papa johns is the only place that delivers to me. The approximate delivery time came and went but no driver showed up, so I checked my tracker page and saw that it was still on "making". I reloaded the page and was greeted by a page that said that my order was cancelled. I've worked in pizza places before, both as driver and in shop, so I understand that stuff happens and some orders cant be fulfilled. However, in that case, it is the duty of somebody at the store to call the customer and notify them that their order isn't come for whatever reason. If this was an isolated incident, I wouldn't be writing this, but this has happened on multiple occasions and not one time was I called about the issue.

Ordered a couple of time and the driver forgot the drinks (but they didn’t forget to charge for them). Didn’t even offer to bring the drinks out even though I tipped the driver $7. Just “all we can do is give them to you free when you order again.” 1) free implies I didn’t pay for them 2) I ain’t EVER ordering from this place again 3) the pizza was absolutely HORRIBLE….I’ve had store bought pizzas that tasted better

Two basic pepperoni pizzas both raw all through the center, and it’s almost certainly cause they don’t care enough to proof the dough correctly before piling on sauce and toppings or they’re just rushing them. Either way terrible experience and unfortunately not the first one from this location, but definitely one of the worst

Let me just start off by saying "DANG I WISH I WOULD OF READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE I CAME HERE". So I have only had Papa John's once 10 years ago and I didn't like it at all but my husband loves it so I decided to give it a second try and man-o-man am I passed at myself for doing it cause it's still nasty as ever. This location on Beltline also has the worst customer service ever. There were four employees there and every last one had a funky attitude which leaves you wanting to turn around and walk out the door. We purchased a med 1 topping pizza which looked like a 5 yr old made it, papadea that was made by the same 5 yr old and wings that were cold which I don't see how when I had to wait an extra 10min after a received a message that it was ready. I tried to give it a second try and after reading other views on this location I know for sure I won't return. The management and owner seriously need to do something about this!!!!!

I am done giving Papa Johns a chance. EVERYTIME I get pizza delivered it is like it has been sitting around forever. Delivery time said 36-42 minutes…it took an hour and a half. 2 large 2 topping pizzas for around $35 delivered with 10 pieces of pepperoni and 5 small meatballs. Won’t be ordering again from Papa Johns. Love the pizza when it’s made right but they’re so inconsistent that it’s not worth the gamble wasting money. Hope you have a good oven to heat yours up if you choose to order from them….either that or hope you like cold pizza.

The service here has gotten worse over the years. This last order made me decide to switch to Pizza Hut. I ordered online. I guess they didn’t feel like doing my “only 1 pizza” order. I got notified by email that my order was canceled. I tried calling to see why they canceled my order and I was put on hold for 15 minutes until I decided they ghosted me on hold. I decided to order from Pizza Hut. I had hot delicious pizza in about 30 minutes. I’m so disappointed in Papa John’s that I deleted the app and am switching to the competition.

This is the second time I've ordered from here and spent over $40 just to get my pizza delivered an hour later, and it was cold and dry as a desert when I received it. Save your money, guys. Tried ordering takeout, and their systems "were down," so I had to pay extra for delivery. Thanks you, guys.

Spent over $70 on an order just to receive terrible quality food. The crust was so over cooked and hard it was unedible. Wings were cold and drowning in too much sauce. What made it even worse was when I called to ask for a refund I was told no and all that could be done was 50% off my next order. When I decided to give them a try again and use my 50% off it "wasn't in their system" so it could not be honored. I then proceeded to call the corporate office like I was told to do. Corporate representative said someone would reach out to me in a few days to resolve the issue. I still haven't heard from anyone, it's been over a week now.

I bought 4 X-Large pizzas Friday for an elementary school pizza half way cooked and I asked for Parmesan and I got 1 packet of Parmesan for pizzas asked driver if he had more and he didn’t are you kidding me 1 packet for 4 big pizzas never again

Wish I would have know before I just spent $30, reading the review everything makes sense. I walked in, employee was eating pizza in the food area chilling. The young lady who gave me my food had a I’m over it attitude. Most importantly though, you come to papa johns for the pizza and mine sucked. Not enough sauce on the pizza and overcooked and super chewy almost gave me a left overs vibe. Crust was to brown to even eat and that’s our favorite part. Last time eating here especially for the price. Dominoes even little ceasers in Mesquite is far better, so disappointing when your crazy some good pizza

After a hour of waiting for my order I called and the personal that answered the phone was very rude when ask why my order was taking so long to be delivered. She didn’t try to rectify the problem by offering something complementary. I wasn’t looking for anything free because my order had already been paid. This lady was just rude for no reason. Well 1 1/2 hrs later I still get a cold pizza, but I refuse to call back, I will not be buying another pizza at this location.

I looked at the pizza for the second time in the store and felt I was getting attitude from the manger and the workers. So I was just like forget it and walked out. Upon driving home realized the pizza is WRONG AGAIN! There no jalapeños on the pizza and barely in meat. I won’t be back

So I parked beside them where I could literally see inside, the lady finally comes out with the pizza and tells me just so you know you need to park in the designated parking spot that way I can find you Even though I could literally see her inside which I don’t mind going inside to get but I just don’t understand why she told me that I need to park at the designated spot when there was someone in them? Then she proceeds to tell me, so for next time just park in those spots I always tell the workers not to park in them I know he did this time but just for next time. ???? So was I supposed to get out of my car and tell them to move?? I don’t understand I’m confused I don’t understand why she would tell me that like what’s you want me to do if they are taken. Then I get home and see the pizza they game me 😭 like come on now

The employees stay outside talking and smoking cigarettes until someone walks in. And when they walk in to help you or go back to work they don’t wash their hands or even use sanitizer. This place used to be soooo good but over the years it has went extremely downhill. If you want good pizza, try Pizza Patron! They have amazing pizza and great customer service! This place is really ghetto and I will NEVER order here again. Take my warning or not, it’s up to you…

Pizza order was completely wrong , undercooked even though we asked for well done toppings wrong and no sauce . Picked up from this location during a doordash delivery today and this was the only location that I was treated badly! Lady that was fronting was so rude and was a piece of work! I doordash after my regular job and this lady goes by saying you’re gonna lose your job because🤣 Ma’am, I already reported you! That was not how you treat anyone and to think I came in the store with a smiling face and even greeted her but she was already rude right off the bat. People need re-training. I work in the healthcare industry and how I was just treated was unacceptable! You don’t treat anyone like that! Her being rude was just uncalled for! Hope Papa John’s corporate sees this

Picked up from this location during a doordash delivery today and this was the only location that I was treated badly! Lady that was fronting was so rude and was a piece of work!
