La Palma del Sur Metepec Reviews
Delicioso, hermosa vista del centro de Metepec y económico.
I discovered it last year, and now every time I come, a visit is a must. Everything is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the dishes. I highly recommend it.
The most delicious, the prices are super affordable, the portions are sufficient, and the seasoning is very good!
A classic place to eat in Metepec. The years go by and it's still good. Highly recommended for tourists and locals alike. Good prices, and the view from the terrace is a plus.
Excellent place for lunch or dinner, very delicious and the view from the 2nd level is very beautiful, friendly prices and exquisite seasoning.
Excellent flavor and their red sauce is the best; they've reduced the meat portions.
Excellent service and delicious food. I've been visiting this place for years and it's always excellent.
The food is mediocre; their tortillas are pre-made, not freshly made like at their sister branch in Toluca. The service is mediocre, and the atmosphere is very lonely and cold.
Their meats are very tasty although slightly expensive compared to other places.
The quality and flavor of the meat wasn't the best, and neither was the service. It's acceptable to eat there if you're in a hurry or don't have many other options.
The flavor has decreased slightly, but it still holds up well in other meals.
A nice place to have lunch or dinner, it just needs to expand its menu or change it from time to time.
My last visit was truly awful. This place used to be packed years ago, the service was delicious and good, but now they buy low-quality meat, the cheese doesn't taste good, and the pastor is bland. The only redeeming feature is the extremely spicy red salsa, which is very good.
This was my second time there. And I hope it's the last. The service was awful. Slow, the tables were dirty, and the sopes were horrible! The worst. I think you could eat at the snack market and it would taste better. God knows if they added thigh or leg (they even left some bone and skin). It looks like a lettuce salad with super-masudos 😔🤢🤮
What a disappointment. I used to come here often, and the arrachera was delicious. Not anymore. It tastes bland and is undercooked. The service is incredibly slow. And to top it all off, I ordered a side of "little onions." They brought me regular onions that were half-roasted. I asked, and they told me they don't serve spring onions anymore. I absolutely do not recommend this place. They have a lot of room for improvement.
We arrived in a group, they served us at the wrong time and people who arrived long after we ordered left first, arguing that we were a too large group for their grill
The flavor wasn't amazing, but the price definitely leaves something to be desired. If you're just paying for the view, this is the place for you. If you're actually going for a meal, you're better off looking elsewhere. There's a taqueria one street back with better quality and value. The most redeeming thing I could find about the place was the salsa—good flavor and spicy. But even so, I don't think it's worth it... $80 for a tiny gringa... And again, the flavor is nothing special.
There weren't many food options, they didn't bring us sauces, and the service was terrible. There was no one to serve us upstairs.
