We've visited Urban Shrimp frequently, and every time it's a 10/10. Any dish you order is delicious (sushi, seafood, or steak), the drinks are cool, the temperature is comfortable, and they're smart about what's playing on TV and the music. I appreciate that the servers give you space but are also very attentive to your needs. *The aguachiles are the best ❤️‍🔥🫠

Tsss, I really liked what I ordered, except for my cherry lemonade; it tasted kind of sour. The sushi and Caesar taco I ordered were fantastic, delicious, and freshly made. Amazing. I'll definitely be back.

Last night we had dinner at Urban Shrimp and the experience was quite good. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the modern and attractive decor. The atmosphere is pleasant, with thoughtful details. We were greeted warmly, introduced ourselves, and after a wait of less than 5 minutes, we were shown to our table. We took advantage of that time to appreciate the surroundings and take some photos. The kitchen service was quick. On this visit we ordered: Tuna sashimi: good flavor, although I personally would prefer the pieces to be smaller. Rock shrimp: crispy and delicious. Periquillo roll: an excellent combination of flavors, highly recommended. We drank a natural lemonade, which could have been a little sweeter, and a passion fruit lemonade, which was refreshing and delicious. As for the service, it was generally good, although on one occasion it was a bit difficult to get the waiter's attention; other than that, everything flowed smoothly and with friendly service. The parking lot is fine, although it's small and could be limited if the restaurant is three-quarters full. The final bill was approximately $1,100 pesos, including a 15% tip, for two people. Dishes range from $250 to $300 pesos, with individual portions suitable for one person. In short, a good option for dinner in Mexicali, with tasty food, a pleasant atmosphere, and a few minor details that could be improved.

La comida es muy abundante y sabrosa. Hay menús para probar varios platillos. Al final una deliciosa galleta de postre. Muy concurrido. Es un clásico en Mexicali.

La atención de la señora mesera excelente, el señor en recepción también. Muy atentos. El ambiente agradable. Me gustaría más sazón pero en general bien.

Sigue siendo el lugar tradicional de restaurante chino, buena comida, buen servicio. Algo de ruido por las TV instaladas lo que obliga a subir la voz para platicar.

Urban Shrimp The place is very clean, with a pleasant atmosphere and good service. We were well served and everything felt organized. What I did notice was that the portions were quite small, especially the sushi. Everything was well presented and tasty, but considering the size, the price does feel high. Between the sushi, the appetizer, and a drink, you end up spending more than you expect and you don't leave completely satisfied. Overall, it's a nice and comfortable place, but they should improve the price-to-portion ratio, especially if they're thinking of customers looking for a good meal without breaking the bank.

An excellent place to visit at least once. We celebrated a friend's birthday there and they even sang "Las Mañanitas" for her. The prices are reasonable and worth it for how delicious they are.

I'd been to this place before, and one of my top recommendations is always the tuna potle tostada: creamy, fresh, and a generous portion. In fact, I think the dishes are generally well-served and fairly priced for the quality. The sushi is also excellent. If you order an appetizer, the seafood guacamole is delicious.

The place is very nice, the staff is very attentive, the food was delicious. I'm including photos to make your mouth water. I don't have any particular recommendations; it was tasty, I have no complaints, but there was nothing that I absolutely loved or that made it stand out from other places.

Fui a comer el viernes 29 de noviembre porque me lo recomendaron que era el mejor de mexicali y mire que estaba lleno y pensé que si era cierto..pero no me gustó la comida cuando la llevaron se me hizo muy pobre su presentación el pollo con piña no estaba crujiente los camarones empanzado estaban duros.. el arroz frito tampoco me gustó lo único fue la cerveza es que yo había ido anteriormente al Imperial garden y la verdad ese me gusta mucho más.. pero ya depende el gusto de cada persona

The place is a little small but the decoration looks pleasant. Most of foods were not as expected, the seafood guacamole was really good, and the mussels with shrimp was just okay, too much butter and low in quantity... the ceviche with mango was so sweet, then figured out the sweetness came from sauce and not from the mango. The most gross sushi that I ever had in my life is from here (the roll called "No Name")... there is nothing wrong with the seafood or rice but the added sesame oil which turned the sushi like vomit-taste in combination with the soy sauce 🤮

Un lugar sumamente viejo, comida regular pero no buena y lo que me motivo a dar estar es el hecho de que en la jara de té apareció una cucarachita privada de su vida la cual deducido que el mejor lugar donde pasar sus últimos minutos de vida era mi jara de té Y lo que aun me parece más desagradable es el hecho de que al informas este inconveniente la administración tardo bastante es darnos una respuesta, tuve que acudir hasta el lugar donde estaba el encargado y decirle personalmente lo ocurrido, ahí me dio una solución que favorecía a ambos (solamente que es bastante enfadoso que tarda bastante en darnos esa resolución)

Sucio y viejo, el mantel que había en mi mesa estaba apestoso, olía a trapeador sucio y húmedo. El olor se impregnó en las mangas de mi suéter. El servicio de la mesera fue malo, nada de hospitalidad. Sirven muy poca comida, ademas me salió un cabello en las carnitas rojas y cuando me devolvieron mi platillo, tenía una pestaña. No recomiendo por mi experiencia.

I went to eat with my family, yesterday and the service was terrible, the server I guess forgot to put in our order because after 30 min he went back to the table to asked what we had ordered and took another 30 minutes to bring the food, the edemames were really tasty! I ordered the star sushi and I found a long black hair in the octopus so gross, the sushi that my nice ordered (bacon roll) took 50 min to get to the table. The first time I went I loved it but yesterday was such a disappointment never ever again :(
