Motek Miami Beach Miami Beach Reviews
Our experience at Motek Mid-Beach was truly outstanding thanks to the service of Pablo, the bartender, and Federico. Pablo crafts cocktails with incredible dedication: every drink is perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and always served with a smile that brings great energy to the bar. His creativity behind the counter makes you want to come back for more. Federico complements the experience with warm and attentive service, always ready to recommend the best from the menu. His professionalism and friendly approach make every guest feel welcomed and cared for. Together, they create a unique atmosphere where excellent food meets exceptional hospitality. Without a doubt, Motek Mid-Beach is a place worth recommending, largely thanks to Pablo and Federico.
I had a wonderful experience at Motek for miami spice. The food at Motek was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, big portions, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality and authenticity in each bite. The menu has so many great options, and everything we tried was outstanding. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had—I can’t wait to come back The service was exceptional from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I truly appreciated the warm atmosphere and the professionalism. Highly recommend Motek if you’re looking for amazing service and a great overall experience!
Motek in Miami Beach is a standout for both its atmosphere and its consistently excellent service. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming, striking a balance between stylish and comfortable. On my first visit, Ryan took care of us, and on the second, Matias did. Both were friendly, very kind, and attentive, checking in frequently and making the entire experience feel effortless. The pacing was spot on, and the food arrived quickly despite everything being made to order, which speaks to how well the restaurant is run. The food more than lives up to the setting. The hummus is exceptional, silky smooth and deeply flavorful, easily among the best I’ve had. The pita is fresh, warm, and perfectly fluffy, clearly baked with care. The shakshuka is outstanding and the best I’ve had by far, rich and comforting with beautifully balanced spices and perfectly cooked eggs. The lamb shawarma was equally impressive, tender and aromatic, with bold flavor in every bite. Motek delivers on all fronts, from thoughtful service to memorable food. It is the kind of place that feels reliable yet special, one you return to with high expectations and leave fully satisfied every time.
I had a great experience at Motek. It was definitely different from what I’ve tried before in Mediterranean cuisine—an intense and exciting mix of flavors and textures. The dishes were full of personality, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every plate. A unique take on Mediterranean comfort food, and worth a visit if you’re looking for something flavorful and a bit out of the ordinary.
MoTeK never stops impressing me. The quality of the food and the impeccable service are always extraordinary. It’s my favorite place in Miami and a must-stop right after the beach — the 27th Street location is everything. We were served by Matías, and I truly can’t stress enough how much we love this place. Thank you, MoTeK. Keep up the incredible work. Can’t wait to visit you in New York.
Best Middle Eastern food that I’ve ever eaten in years… I’m 69 years young and have had the opportunity to eat in Amman Jordan… This place is equal if not better better…. fresh ingredients… Had the falafel, Greek salad, and chicken Shawarma… Taste buds were exploding with so many flavors… Highly recommend this restaurant
AMAZING!!!! The food was delicious I have absolutely no complaints. Service was so so wonderful, we had Ariana as our server she was so kind and lovely to talk to. The atmosphere is so cute, the tables and seating are a great size, and the decor is wonderful. Would 100% recommend, we ate until we couldn’t anymore. So so good!! Totally coming back again even though we’re just visiting for a few days.
That pita bread is better than pizza. Wood burning oven. Best traditional Greek dishes. Oh wait l, you want 45 oz of steak. Sliced … but bone with meat also on plate. Out of this taste bud world. Don’t think too much, eat and enjoy. Matias also is as good it gets taking care of us tonight. No more to say, I’m having dessert now.
What a fabulous place. Delicious fresh Mediterranean food and lovely service in a very pleasant setting. Must try the hummus, super silky smooth, and the bread and falafels. Sorry about the terrible photo. Portions here were tapas size as was the happy hour deal but the à la carte portions looked pretty generous.
We had such a fantastic experience at Motek. The Greek cuisine was absolutely outstanding — fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. Each course somehow managed to outdo the last, building in flavor and presentation in a way that made the entire meal feel thoughtfully curated and memorable. Ariana made the evening even more special. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. Her recommendations were spot on, and she ensured everything flowed perfectly from start to finish. From the food to the service, everything exceeded expectations. We will definitely be going back
I stopped in for lunch at Motek in Miami Beach yesterday while it was raining, and it turned out to be a really cozy and vibrant place to hang out for a while. The space has this welcoming, upbeat vibe with lots of energy in the decor — even with the stormy weather outside, it felt warm and inviting inside. I’m not the biggest fan of Israeli food in general, so I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but I was pleasantly surprised by a few things that really stood out. The absolute highlight for me was the pita bread. It was next-level good. Perfectly baked, soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the edges, and served warm. I paired it with the tzatziki and I could’ve honestly just eaten that the entire meal. It was creamy, flavorful, and super fresh, with a good balance of herbs and just the right tang. That combo alone would bring me back. I did try a few other menu items as well, and while they were decent, they didn’t wow me the same way. I’d say the food overall was about a four-star for me, mostly because of personal preference, but the pita and dip were easily five-star worthy. Service was quick and friendly, and the whole place had a nice buzz without being too loud or crowded. If you’re into Mediterranean or Middle Eastern flavors, or even if you’re just looking for a lunch spot in Miami Beach with good vibes and standout bread, Motek is worth a visit.
We had such a wonderful experience dining here! Our server, LJ, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Everything from start to finish exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere!
We had such an incredible experience at Motek, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Manuel. From the very beginning, he made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. His menu suggestions went far beyond our expectations — every recommendation was absolutely spot-on and elevated our entire dining experience. Manuel’s attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism truly made our night special. He didn’t just serve us — he curated our experience with care and passion. It’s rare to find someone who combines knowledge, intuition, and hospitality so effortlessly. Thank you, Manuel, for turning a great dinner into an unforgettable evening. We’ll definitely be back!
The food was truly amazing! All of it! Also, I told the staff that I was gluten free, and, although the kitchen is shared, the staff were so accommodating and informed. They made sure all the gluten free items we ordered were separate from my husband’s non-gluten free pita. I appreciated that so much. Also, the atmosphere is very nice.
They had me at warm pita. This pleasant and low-key café in the heart of the district Collins Avenue is a great spot for a light bite or, if you prefer, a full meal. They do everything quite well, but several of us really preferred the vegetarian options: hummus, baba, falafel, and more. The ambience is informal and the service is excellent. I’d advise you to leave a little room for the excellent baklava. It pairs perfectly with mint tea (no sugar).
I’ve eaten here many times and have never been disappointed! I recently brought some friends who were visiting, and we all had an amazing experience. Thank you, Ariana, for your impeccable service—your recommendations were absolutely spot on. Truly great service!
Great foodie spot! Home made bread, they dont cook with seed oils, and our server Manuel was so wonderful! 5 stars!!! I dont eat pork, this place has the most incredible chicken schnitzel sandwhich...I mean, home made challah bread bun which was lightly toasted on the inside of the sandwich, 2 thin delicate crispy chicken patties battered in sesame seeds and perfectly fried, cabbage slaw, homemade pickles and perfectly ripe tomatoes....and large enough to split if you get the yummy za'atar fries and 1-2 mezz.
Motek is an absolute gem. The Mediterranean flavors are authentic, vibrant, and beautifully balanced, every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and full of soul. Our server Manuel was amazing. His service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. Exceptional food paired with exceptional service, this is hospitality done right.
Recommended by our friend and This place will blow your mind! The service was impeccable! The food is unbelievable delicious, place is so cute! Kosher & family style! Wow!! We tried classic hummus, babaganoush, pita, moroccan cigars and spicy eggplant schnitzel sandwich challah!!!
An excellent restaurant (I have also dined at the South Beach location). Every dish was outstanding – beautifully presented, well seasoned, and consistently successful. The only comment regarding the food is that the dessert was overly sweet and a bit excessive – perhaps better suited to an American palate. I was also informed that the meat served is kosher (without official certification), which is a great solution for people like me who keep kosher but do not require a formal rabbinate certificate or a restaurant that is closed on Shabbat. This is something worth confirming directly with the restaurant.
Really quite good overall. Nice space, good service, very tasty food that's well presented. I think this is a great spot as a small group and ordering a variety of dishes to be shared; a number of things on the menu definitely fall into the "small plates" vibe. Like their ceviche is more of an appetizer portion than getting a full bowl ceviche as a meal. I'll have to come back here another time and try more things.
Absolutely love Motek. Victor is truly amazing — I honestly can’t be in the area without stopping by. Every visit is a must-indulge moment. The food, the atmosphere, the energy… there’s a reason this place is always packed. Thank you for the incredible hospitality and attentive service — I was consistently checked on and felt so well taken care of. Thank you, my favorite spot!
Delicious meal! I love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. I was with a pescatarian so we got primarily vegetarian dishes and a salmon skewer. The salmon skewer with lentils and rice was wonderful. The crispy cauliflower was fried well. It's flavor was more sweet than spicy. The original hummus is tahini forward. The crispy cabbage salad was lemony and refreshing. Really enjoyed it. I will definitely return and try the meat dishes. Also, all meats are kosher. While they will take walk-ins, it definitely is worth making a reservation. We had to wait about 45 minutes to get a table for 2.
Motel is one of the best restaurants in South Beach. The food here is absolutely incredible. Fresh, flavorful, with each bite better than the last. The pita is unlike any pita I have ever had, like eating a delicious and fluffy pita cloud. The Chicken Shawarma Plate and Za’atar Fries are also not to be missed. Special thank you to Matias and Marina for their exceptional service and hospitality. I will be coming back to Motek South Beach whenever I am in town. If you are looking for Mediterranean food, look no further and get to Motek South Beach as soon as you can.
Food was AMAZING. The service was also very lovely. We got the eggplant hummus, the chicken shawarma and the hangar steak. For dessert we got the baklava and a scoop of ice cream with mint tea. Phenomenal. Than you LJ for welcoming us to Miami!
We were three people, and we ordered too much food. Everything sounded (and tasted) incredible! That za'atar labneh is amazing! The fried eggplant sticks were my last favorite. But the service, the food, the place. All 5 stars.
We had the best experience at Motek Midtown! The food is always incredible, but we were especially impressed considering it was their opening day, the service was excellent. Location is beautiful. Bethany and Miles were both amazing, so friendly and attentive, and made us feel so welcome. We’re so happy they opened in our neighborhood! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, everything is delicious. Highly recommend!
Delicious all around. The labneh paired with warm, freshly baked laffa bread was a perfect start. The beet and goat cheese salad was bright, well-balanced, and flavorful. The chicken shawarma plate was generous and satisfying, with everything tasting incredibly fresh. Loved the clean flavors and quality ingredients.
Delicious Israeli/Mediterranean food. Tons of options on the menu, the spicy chicken schnitzel sandwich is huge (and delicious) and the hummus shakshouka was fantastic. The summer salad with watermelon, pistachios and feta cheese was light and refreshing. Great challah bread too.
Spent a couple days in Miami Beach and went to Motek Happy Hour twice (we should have gone 3 times) I'd give this place 6 stars - everything was great on the happy hour menu. Tried an unconventional cocktail (I want to say it had beet juice, so I thought 'why not'), wouldn't try it again, but trying new things is part of a great experience...and trying them at happy hour is better. I want to say that we tried 90 percent of the happy hour menu and enjoyed every dish - yes every dish! We recommended Motek to our friend who was traveling the week after we did, and she loved it too. After Happy Hour, we took a walk on the beach, and then went back for dessert, and yes, that was delicious too. We usually spend a day or two in Miami when we travel back to the states, as Miami is our entry / exit point, so we'll be back.
Fun place, good food and good customer service as well. If you like Mediterranean, I do recommend. My only complaint is the chicken kabob was very dry when served. The rest of the dishes we tried were solid. Good vibes overall
Perfection. The decor is bright and relaxed while the food is top tier. We had the french toast and lamb shawarma and you can't convince me that's not Michelin level eats. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Make your way here, you will not regret it!

Adorable interior, clean and well designed. We stopped in for drinks and apps. It was a delight. Ate at the bar and had a glass of wine, the cauliflower and the cigars. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. I’d love to go back when I’m hungrier to try more of their menu.

Best restaurant overall we tried during our third trip to Miami! Highly recommend any dish that includes hummus, bread or their chicken schnitzel! Ingredients are fresh and the service is spot on. We always come back for the labneh and their house bread!
Great brunch for a really fair price! I had the motek breakfast and I can say it would be enough for two people! Our server was super polite and friendly! Def recommend
Food was amazing, our server Manuel was attentive and generous. He gave great recommendations and everything he suggested was delicious. We are excited for the one in NY to open up.

Great place to eat outside. Only credit cards accepted and 20% is added to the bill automatically. Food is flavorful but roasted eggplant and zuccini cakes were burnt. Also, very pricey for what you get. Smoothies were really good! ($12 each) Spent over $50pp for a very light lunch - keep that in mind.
One of my best meals in Miami - we enjoyed each dish, great service & outline of items to order. Each dish gave us little bursts of flavor, all distinct - very good. Great & breezy ambience with attentive service, well deserved gratuity. The lamb & salmon bowls had their own distinct flavors, with bread, falafel & the Moroccan cigars (beef/lamb rolls), delightful bites 😊 Note that generally in Miami the gratuity is embedded into the bill automatically. How’ver Motek’s crew definitely are on top of things to give their customers a great culinary experience. Definitely check this place out, reservations are recommended. They do have a few outlets. Families take note, happy hour menus from 2-5pm, mon to Friday do not apply to minors. This is a shame bcos it def gives a wide choice of food items for first timers to test out. Overall - great experience & I’d recommend to folks as well as come back if in Miami. Keep it up 👍🏻 (Unlike the establishment in my last review - which was a disappointment)
Motek was certainly different. Their dishes were authentic Mediterranean and distant from their Americanized counterparts. For example, the hummus was creamy and middle eastern dumplings had spices that were exotic. The servers were friendly and we enjoyed the relaxing vibe.

I got take out. The place looks nice and host was friendly. The portions are not bad for $50 spent. I got the “crispy” cauliflower although it was my favorite it was too soggy for me. The broccolini smelled and tasted like gas, maybe because it was charred on the grill. The chicken sandwich had too much going on and it was super soggy. I want to believe it was because I got take out but honestly disappointed with my first time. Happy I tried it but won’t be trying again.
