My experience at Boia De incredible. From the outside, the restaurant is very unassuming, but once you step inside, you realize you are in for something special. The service was outstanding from start to finish, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Every dish we ordered was exceptional. The beef tartare was beautifully prepared and incredibly fresh. The chestnut agnolotti was the highlight of the night for me. It was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced, easily my favorite dish of the evening. The gnocchi à la Parisienne (Morina) was full of flavor and executed perfectly. The tortellini in brodo resembled more of a dumpling but it was also decent. The lamb ribs Fra Diavolo were unbelievably tender with just the right amount of spice and depth. And then came dessert. The crispy tiramisu is an absolute must. The texture was unique, and the small touch of sea salt on top elevated the flavors in a way that made the whole dessert unforgettable.

Dined here on a Friday night. I was able to very easily get a reservation for one via Resy. The main reason I came was because the restaurant has a Michelin star and seemed to be on the affordable end. Immediately the staff was wonderful. I was seated at the bar right away and a few minutes later the bartender walked me through the menu. Since I was dining solo, he explained that I could order half portions of certain plates (which were half the price as well as I later found out). Since I was driving I ordered a mocktail, which was served very quickly and worked as a nice palette cleanser between plates. The food came relatively quickly and everything was DIVINE! The crispy polenta with the braised eggplant and a ton of Parmesan was perfectly balanced and a great way to start. The Brussel Sprouts were perfectly crispy with a wonderful miso glaze. The best dish was undeniably the Tortellini, which left me speechless and chewing with my eyes closed like an addict. The broth was smooth and rich while still being perfectly clear and each tortellini was perfectly filled with a delicious savory foie gras and duck prosciutto. The half portions of the Tiramisu, which wasn’t too sweet (exactly how I like it), was the perfect end to a mind-blowing experience. Overall, it was around $85 dollars without taxes or tip. I personally believe that it is a fair and reasonable price for the quality of food and service that was provided. I will definitely be back, perhaps with friends next time to be able to share the plates as meant and share this hidden gem. 12/10 would recommend!

A Unique and Memorable Meal at Boia De Boia De is an experience, but it's one that might not be for everybody. It has its own distinct, charming style that sets it apart from other restaurants in Miami. The first thing you'll notice is the intimate setting. The tables are very close to each other, so much so that you basically have dinner with the table next to you. It's a unique atmosphere that you have to be prepared for. The food, however, is truly extraordinary. Every dish we tried was inventive and delicious. The only caveat is that the portions are on the smaller side, so you may want to order several plates to share. We were there on Thursday, October 9th, to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our reservation was for 9:15 pm, and we found the service to be a bit slow at that time, which was a little disappointing for a special occasion. For me, Boia De is a place you should try at least once for its fantastic food and one-of-a-kind ambiance. While I enjoyed the meal, I think one visit was enough to get the full experience.

The restaurant is a cozy little hidden gem. We went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and sat at the counter, right in front of the chef — such a cool experience! Service was spot-on, and the dishes they recommended were absolutely perfect for sharing. Everything was delicious, but the baked clams really blew us away. Great wine list too, with solid value for the quality. Overall, an awesome night out — no surprise they’ve got a Michelin star. Can’t wait to go back!

The hospitality is unmatched and it is clear that the whole team understands its about so much more than the food but the entire experience. The host, the servers, the bartender, and the cooks were all incredibly kind, attentive, and committed. The food, as expected by their reputation, was phenomenal. Well earned Michelin star. Each bite puts you in a world of exploding flavor. Carefully crafted, plated, and presented. Perfect date night and opportunity to share plates and experience many flavors during your meal. Thanks to Resy Global dining Access by Amex for introducing me to this gem of a restaurant. We will most definitely be back. Reservations were made a month in advance.

This is a VERY small restaurant so you will have an extremely difficult time if not impossible time getting a reservation for more than 2. This is the BEST restaurant in Miami. The food is delicious and the service is phenomenal. Blake was an excellent server this past trip and the food was, as always, second to none. Order and share 4 to 5 small plates and leave with your mind blown. There is not one thing bad on the menu and each time I recommend you try something new to get the full experience.

Dinner at Boia De was truly an extraordinary experience. Highly recommend sitting at the bar for a more immersive experience. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar where we had the perfect view of the chefs assembling many dishes and desserts. We started off with the crispy polenta (10/10). This was an incredible start to our meal. The polenta was flavorful and the eggplant was deliciously marinated. I’m not typically a fan of eggplant so I was beyond pleasantly surprised. We then got the crispy brussel sprouts (10/10). This was probably one of the best brussel sprouts dishes I have ever had and my favorite dish of the night. It was bursting with flavor. I would go back just for this dish. Highly recommend it. We then go the tortellini in brodo (10/10) which was my second favorite dish of the night. The broth was savory and light. The tortellini were fantastic. Last but not least we had the pappardelle alla lepre (9/10). It was my first time trying rabbit and I really enjoyed it. It was tender and went well with the pasta. For dessert, we had the dulce de leche affogato (10/10), the chocolate budino (9/10), and the poached pear (8/10). We love affogato and this one did not disappoint. The dulce de leche ice cream is homemade and delicious. I can’t wait to go back to have it again. The candied hazelnuts in the chocolate budino were a hit. We also enjoyed the poached pear but the other two desserts were better. Every dish had a unique flavor and was so beautifully made. We forgot to take pictures of all the dishes because we were so captivated by the making of the dishes in front of us. We only captured the desserts. We cannot wait to return!

The service and atmosphere was excellent. Love the ambiance and perfectly lit dining experience befitting a romantic evening. The food was top notch and truly worth every bite. Taking one on a delicious journey of Italian flavors. I believe the manager there noticed I stained my shirt eating the papparadelle 😅 and was kind enough to get me a tide pen cleaner without I even asking. Truly an attention to detail and love for the customer that was chef’s kiss. Amazing place and people here. Highly recommend for anyone to dine in and enjoy amazing food and service

I’ve been wanting to try here for so long, the location is a bit out of the way but I must say it’s worth it! The crispy polenta was a pleasant surprise! I was not expecting it to burst with so much flavor! The beef tartar is definitely one of the tops I’ve had! So flavorful and tasty, we devoured every bite! The grilled artichokes also were bursting with flavor! An unexpected pleasant surprise! Lastly, the corn fagottini was out of this world!! What a meal this was on a weekend night, they managed to squeeze us in at the bar. I would prefer a little more space personally but everything was phenomenal here!

I had my doubts about this restaurant because of the location and how it looks since I pass over there almost everyday. Saying that I need to say hands down with the food, all dishes were really good including the dessert. Prices were good for this kind of food experience. It’s a little messy to get seated but it’s worth it in overall. Would recommend.

The polenta was perfectly crispy and accented with delicious eggplant The sweetbreads were the star of the show, amazing The gnocchi was melt in your mouth delicious Service friendly, knowledgeable and caring Small restaurant with big flavors. We fell in love!! Perched at the countertop, we watched the kitchen literally come to life as the chefs labored feet from us. Surprise after surprise rained down before our very eyes — plop, plop, plop — from crudo to artichokes, salad, polenta, and finally a squid ink pasta jam-packed with mussels that left us speechless. Huge thanks to our server Lizzy for her kind cheerfulness and professionalism. We’re still coming back down to earth after this one — though part of us hopes the magic never stops falling 😛

From head to toe, Boia De is sensational. The full staff was so incredible, and they all seemed genuinely happy to be there. The hostess was an absolute love, and our server was a ray of sunshine. We ordered 4 dishes in total and a dessert, and it was plenty of food for two of us. However, there are so many other things I want to try. We started with the artichoke and then the baked clams. The artichokes were roasted and served with a super smooth and creamy mushroom sauce. We shared two mains: the ricotta gnocchi and the squid ink garganelli with seafood. Both dishes were *phenomenal*, but the squid ink was the winner. The gnocchi was fluffy and pillowy and creamy, and everything you want gnocchi to be. But the squid ink pasta was packed with flavor. It was full of mussles, clams, and calamari, and the sauce was perfect with a little kick. If I hadn't been in public, I would have licked the bowl. It was that good. We finished the evening with the lemon olive oil cake. It came topped with a custard(?) and roasted hazelnuts and praline. It was, like everything else, perfect. We are so grateful to the staff for being so lovely and specifically to the hostess who sat us without a reservation. You made my whole night, and I cannot wait to come back.

Amazing meal and restaurant. I had heard many great things about this restaurant, so I waited at my computer and refreshed the reservation page over and over at noon to be able to get a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday. He wanted to go to a place with excellent wine and excellent food, and he said Boia De checked both those boxes amazingly. The waitress suggested we order 2-3 dishes per person and we went with 5 dishes (see pictures). My favorites were the chopped salad (do not skip this one!)and the steak tartar. Probably could eat both of those entirely on my own and be satisfied. All dishes were perfectly seasoned and had such a complexity of flavors. My boyfriend says the wine he picked was his favorite part. They have an extensive wine list, so if you love wine, you will definitely find something good to pair with their incredible food. Would love to return😁.

The restaurant is in a strip mall and the outside setting is nothing fancy. Inside the place is tiny and cosy and that's why it's hard to make a reservation. The food as expected was delicious. Crispy polenta was our favorite. Grilled maitakes and pickled white beach mushrooms was good appetizer size. The carrot cake was rich and full of flavor too. They just got their Michelin star for fourth year in a row. Congratulations Boia De - keep up the good work!

Amazing everything. Food is very high quality you really cannot go wrong with anything you order. Very high quality ingredients. Unexpected ingredients and dishes. The menu changes frequently but we had the chocolate dessert and it was the only thing we didn’t love. It was like a pudding with huge hazelnuts in it. The carrot cake was AMAZING. Expect to order 4-6 sharing dishes per 2 people. The service is amazing, it’s not white table cloth by any means but it was so personalized and friendly. You need a reservation, this place is always packed. Plenty of parking.

I celebrated my birthday here & the food was absolutely phenomenal. The foie gras & chicken liver pate was life changing, and the beef tartare was out of this world. The flavors are strong but well balanced, and are sure to impress even the most sophisticated of palates. I preferred the oxtail ravioli to the ricotta gnocchi but both were amazing, honestly. Don’t miss out of the crispy tiramisu as well! Service was great, & I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that can snag a reservation.

Boia De is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Miami. Every dish is outstanding. It was incredible even before the Michelin recognition, and it has stayed completely authentic since. The space is very small and notoriously hard to get into, but that only adds to the experience. If you’re lucky enough to snag a table, you’re in for one of the best meals of your life. Truly special food, executed at the highest level. Highly recommended.Boia De is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Miami. Every dish is outstanding. Well maybe more of a O MAMMA MIA moment as in OH REALLY, OK, oh ? instead of a BOIA DE. Is it good- yes but is it as good as its neighbors- maybe, would I go back? It’s up in the air. I lived in Rome in Trastevere as a Fulbright Scholar. I have experienced Italian cooking at all levels and in all regions. Here some things were good such as crispy polenta and chestnut agnolotti. The Alla Lepre or rabbit was swimming in sauce and a tad over powering. The sauce on the clams was a mismatch but you did receive SIX. The biggest mistake was ordering dessert. The waiter was nice and attentive with a nice sense of humor. We sat at the bar. The greeter or host was just so so. I know it is a starred restaurant but maybe it’s more of an asterisk. Would I take a client or a first date here- probably not. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. Was it busy-YES!

Everything was so good, but the standout dish was the gnocchi. I also had the beef tartare, and a tiramisu for dessert. Wine was fantastic and our server was super helpful in helping us choose one that paired well with our order.

Although I liked the place and food is good, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, don't get me wrong... but food is nothing exceptional (aside from two of their plates). Dishes are the perfect size to share, so we were able to try a good portion of their menu. If you do cocktails, SNOOP D.O.C. is definitely a must try. The restaurant has a lovely intimate and chill vibe, making it perfect to hold a conversation. Service was kind of slow and not quite paced.

Food was incredible. Service could definitively be better. We had the steak tartar (superb!), the polenta fries were also amazing. The pappardelle was out of this world. We got there, with very hard and annoying to make reservations for which I repeatedly got reminders for... The host made us feel like if we didn't belong there and told us "your table might be ready whenever". The server was "disapointed at us because we ordered only 3 dishes". Although food was delicious, I doubt we'll make the trip to the laundry mat again. Good to get the experience though.

✨ Michelin Star Taste, But a Cold Goodbye As someone who deeply values not just food, but the feeling of being a welcome guest, I left this restaurant with very mixed emotions. We had a reservation and called ahead, but upon arrival, the host Miguel offered us seats at the bar — despite many open tables. Only after I insisted, he sat us at a proper table with clear reluctance. Not the warm welcome you’d expect from a Michelin-starred spot. Now to the positives — and they were truly impressive: 🌟 Our server Mariah was incredible: kind, fast, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. 🍽 The food? Stunning. – The lamb ribs were out of this world. I usually can’t stand lamb, not even the smell — but I devoured every bite. – The artichoke was flavorful and perfect. – The beef tartare could use a little kick — it felt a bit flat. – The tiramisu? Honestly, better than in Italy. Yes, I said it. We paired everything with a beautiful bottle of wine and really enjoyed the atmosphere… until the end. 💔 Right after we paid (a $400+ bill), Miguel came to the table and told us — with no grace or subtlety — that they needed our table. We had to leave. It was abrupt and completely ruined the emotional aftertaste of what could’ve been a wonderful memory. This place absolutely deserves praise for its food and dessert. But hospitality isn’t just about Michelin-level dishes — it’s about how you make people feel. And we left feeling dismissed

Disappointing experience despite good food. We were only two people and it was 6:30 PM. I arrived first and was not allowed to sit or order because my friend wasn’t there yet, even though she was 5 minutes away. We were required to be seated at the exact same time. Once seated (at the bar), we were told the entire meal must be ordered at once, you can’t order an appetizer while deciding on mains. This made the experience feel rushed and inflexible. Service was slow, portions are very small, and you’re limited to 1.5 hours. After finishing both starters and mains and still being hungry, the bartender had to ask the chef if we were allowed to order more, then told us we had 10 minutes to finish. We ordered dessert and were immediately given the check. I’m a trained chef and have dined at many Michelin starred restaurants worldwide. I’ve never been rushed or treated this way. The food is good, but the hospitality is not. Rigid policies, rushed service, and an unwelcoming attitude overshadow the meal.

This dinner was a Christmas gift from my husband, so we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing mainly because of the service. From the moment we walked in, before even being properly greeted, we were told that there was another reservation for our table in 1 hour and 30 minutes and that we should “keep that in mind.” That was the first interaction we had, which immediately set a rushed and uncomfortable tone. I am celiac, and while only about five dishes were available gluten-free, I appreciated that there were at least some options. At that moment we weren’t very hungry, so we decided to start with two appetizers and two cocktails to ease into the meal. However, we were pressured to order everything right away and told that they might not take our order later, which felt unnecessary and unpleasant. After finishing the appetizers, we decided we were ready to order a main dish. At that point, three different people—including, I believe, the owner—told us they would not take our order because the chef “didn’t have time,” even though we still had about one hour before the next reservation. No alternatives were offered. After insisting, I was able to order a crudo, but by then the mood was already very uncomfortable. We stayed for dessert, which was actually very good. Overall, the food was fine, but not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the service was genuinely poor and made us feel rushed, unwelcome, and like an inconvenience rather than guests. For a restaurant with this reputation, the hospitality did not meet expectations at all.
