Cafe Bustelo Miami Reviews
Came here for brunch on vacation and LOVED it!!! The food was amazing. Our waitress was the sweetest person. Mari kept the bottomless mimosas coming and provided great service. 10/10 would recommend! Affordable food Great drinks Beautiful atmosphere
Cafe Bustelo at FIU MMC Campus is fabulous. It’s been there forever, and usually open when other coffee places or food options are closed. The coffee is dependably strong, typical yummy croquettas, pastries, flavored coffees and other small bites. The ladies who work there are amazing, love them 😊❤️. It’s in the Graham Center and it’s noisy with tons of seating nearby, love going there to plug into the university energy. Students from every country are around making atmosphere a delight. I go here often. ☕️
Great price, service, and food.

I love those coffee cake runs. They got me through those Calculus classes
I love that they open really early!
The perfect way to start a day on campus. One cortadito and two ham croquetas. Simply perfect. The staff is also very nice
They are always so nice, quick, and make good drinks consistently!
Loved the cafecito, the pastalito. Great price for everything and absolutely delicious.
Thanks cz invite me here.. very proud of it.. ;-)
The Cuban cafecito here is amazing. The staff is also very friendly. 🙂

Voy a menudo. ☕️
Nice Americano Cubano. The empanada was not bad either.
Polite service and great coffee.
Great cafecito place. Pastelitos are cold.
Communication was a bit hard since they mostly responded in half Spanish half English but it's nothing much to complain about
Awesome café con leche. Great service
Great cafecito place. Pastelitos are cold.
Every kind of meal I have tried here is very low quality for the given price. I just got a ham egg and cheese breakfast sandwich where the cheese made up only 2% of the sandwich and ham was like 8%. It more of a bread and egg sandwich. Only thing I’ve tried here that is worth it is the colada which is the reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1. Believe me I’m Cuban born and raised, I’ve been to several Cuban cafes and this one is way below average.
This place is an insult to the cuban culture, they gave me a tostada thats was not even tosted, It also tasted like nothing
At FIU, the Cafe Bustelo in the Graham Center is great and I enjoy eating breakfast here regularly. The staff is always excellent and the food is good. The first negative experience I had today was not because of the food or the staff, but because of the so-called manager. I saw the manager for the first time at the register taking orders. This woman BERATED an employee who prepared the coffee. Not redirecting her, but yelling at her at the top of her lungs in front of the people waiting for breakfast. Having an attitude like that is not appropriate for a manager, as it is unprofessional and makes everyone uncomfortable, including myself. Although millions of people line up each morning (and at all times, really), that place has always ran smoothly. It is the first time I have seen chaos, and I am certain it is because of the manager's lack of structure. She was unbelievably cruel, and a person like her shouldn't be in charge.
Ordered a Tostada, it didn't even have one drop of butter on it. The cuban bread itself was pretty old, not fresh. Tequeño that I ordered was also not fresh. Asked for a plastic bag because I ordered a lot of items and they couldnt even provide me with one.
If you're looking for fresh food, this isn't the place to go. Everything, including the toast, is microwaved. The only freshly made item appears to be the coffee, probably because they have no other choice. Prices are also high makingyou think that the food is goodand fresh. Overall, it's disappointing."
If I am going to a Cuban food restaurant it’s because I want to enjoy it fully not half way. Any well known cuban food place will call Cuban food correctly by its name, such as Estefans Kitchen Express or Kitchen 305. There are a story to tell behind each food’s name. Labeling food incorrectly is very disrespectful and misleading in the culinary art and to consumers. A colada is not a cafecito, and a Cuban tostada is not only a tostada, there are tangible difference among these names. For instance, when you go to a French restaurant you call a croissant by its name instead of bread/ pan , and a Croque madame is not a bread/pan with ham and eggs . Therefore you all shall understand the critical value of labeling food properly not only to attract consumers but also out of respect to every story and ethnicity behind each name. I look forward in the nearest future to enjoy fully cuban food.
The coffee tastes horrible. Moreover, you ask them to make the cortadito dark and they ignore you. Of course, being the only café option at FIU they don't have to care right?
The "ladies" working there are the most disrespectful, ill-mannered and plain aggressive human beings I have ever interacted with.
Terrible food
