Casadonna Miami Reviews
Came to Casadonna on my birthday for brunch this past weekend. Soon as I walked in the building I was stunned by the way it looks. It is beautiful from the high ceilings to the decor. Great for photo ops! I did expect a little bit more with the buffet selections, but I must say my eggs were perfectly made! The dessert area had a great delicious selection. Banana bread and macarons were yummy! Not a fan of the oysters. More fresh fruit, maybe some cheese selections, donuts, muffins, pancakes, or french toast would’ve been nice. I kept walking past the pasta station and it smelled so good, but I didn’t get a chance to taste anything there. I chose the Al Fresco tier for drinks and the Bellini and Mimosas were A1! My partner said the Cappuccino’s were great, he had 4! Hahaa Lastly, I want to add our server Pom was incredible. Great hospitality and very informative on the food, the building and the city. We enjoyed his talks and his service. I would like to try Casadonna again when I visit so I can try to pasta and gelato!
I went for brunch for my BFF birthday. We sat outside to find that it was a buffet menu. The price was $99 for all you can eat, not including caviar or specialties. It was self-serve, the stations were clean and easy to maneuver. The variety of food was endless. From omelette to fresh oysters, as well as desserts. There's also a added drink package for bottomless mimosas n Bellinis. I ordered a latte, and an espresso martini. It was the most delicious Martini. The outside seating was beautiful and right along the waterfront. They also had a gelato station. We had a great time, didn't eat much but still enjoyed our company and the views. On my next visit I'll bring big eaters 😂
Reserved this lovely place to celebrate my hubby’s birthday in Miami and we had a wonderful time! Great food, great vibes & excellent services! We walked from our hotel at Marriott Biscayne Bay, and Casadonna also has wonderful water views with historic architectural interior. Appetizers were lovely, King Salmon was done just right for medium cooking, the pasta was al dente. Surprised us the most was the dessert, Tiramisu Affogato, by checking the name and already caught my attention. Mascarpone on top, with layers coffee caramel, perfect sweetest and moist and the almond sorbet was embedded in the middle of the layers and gave a perfect ending for the night.
Luis took care of us and he was extremely attentive. We tried several menu items and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We had no wait with a reservation on a friday evening. The menu has several choice cuts of meat as well as signature menu items. We had the caviar to start and the salmon tartare.
My husband and I had a lovely dinner here. The service was excellent. We enjoyed everything we ate and I felt the pasta portion size was good - enough but not too much to overeat. The restaurant was buzzing and the design was beautiful. The seating was actually comfortable. The front bar room creates a bit of a wow moment upon entry and a more intimate dining area just beyond. Lots of thought into the details with the space. Well done.
Highly recommend making reservations. This was a great experience the ambience is stunning, especially sitting out in the back patio. We tried the octopus calamari Caesar salad for appetizers and skirt steak some pasta dishes, and the house chicken specialty they were all amazing our group highly enjoyed it.
I hosted my birthday brunch at Casadonna with a group of 12, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. The ambience strikes that rare balance between polished and relaxed so beautifully designed, energetic, and perfect for a celebration without feeling overwhelming. The food was excellent across the board. The menu offers a wide range of options, so everyone at the table found something they genuinely loved. What really stood out was the service. Managing a table of 12 is no small task, yet the staff handled it with ease being attentive, professional, and warm without being intrusive. We never felt rushed, and everything flowed naturally, which made the entire experience feel effortless. Casadonna turned my birthday brunch into a truly memorable afternoon. It’s the kind of place that gets the details right, and it shows. I’ll absolutely be back 🥂💕
My first experience here has been perfect. Shoutout to our server Pom for making it such a great experience! Brunch is on the pricier side but their food variety and quality is well worth it. They also have drink package options to best fit your preferences + price range.
Absolutely beautiful hidden gem in Edgewater. Stunning Mediterranean architecture historic building, the restaurant has a beautiful open backyard by the water. Brunch buffet is delicious, with several options (seafood, sushi, pork ribs, chicken, omelettes, corn bread, quiche, pastries, etc). And our server Pom was amazing, great recommendations, kind and quick attention, and nice conversation.
It was an outstanding experience. Our server was Hanna, and she gave us a professional and friendly service. We had a fresh burrata salad and an octopus starter, followed by a very good Milanese, but the most unexpectedly delicious dish was the pasta. We’re definitely coming back.
We came for date night. Everything was excellent. The service by Thomas was incredible, he was very attentive and made sure our food was good. The atmosphere was amazing. Food came very fast and was exceptional. Totaly worth the price you’re paying, I can’t stress enough how every bite was 10/10. The check was good for two and we had drinks, starter, side and each had a main course which seems perfectly reasonable. Highly recommend, I will be returning. Thanks Thomas!
Had my baby shower here during Sunday brunch and Derek, the manager, and his team took such good care of us! The food and drinks were spectacular. The restaurant interior and outdoor seating is gorgeous. Derek made sure we got first pick of the tables outside and reassured me that he would make sure everything was perfect and he kept his promise! I will definitely be back to enjoy again, whether it is to host another event or just coming with friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal 😊
Great atmosphere with beautifully designed interiors and gorgeous setting. Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating facing beach side with outdoor bar. The lounge seating outside is where we dined and the table and chairs were so pretty in blush pink. Lots of trees making it perfect for a tropical outing. Food was outstanding and service was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant for dates or for people visiting Miami. Must go back!

Delicious food and drinks. Service was excellent. I ordered the focaccia and steak tartare to start. The focaccia was perfect but the tartare had a bit too much artichoke for my taste. For the main dishes we ordered hanger steak and the squash agnolotti, both excellent. Dessert was a tiramisu affogato and a chocolate cake. The cake was just ok. However, the tiramisu affogato was such a good twist on a traditional dish 10/10

Casadonna brunch was an incredible experience! The food was delicious—fresh seafood, perfectly made pasta, and an amazing dessert spread. The atmosphere is beautiful and really captures that Miami waterfront vibe. What made it extra special was the service. Manager Derek, the assistant manager, and the new GM Mark all went out of their way to check in and make sure everything was perfect. Our waiter Pom was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Between the stunning setting, great food, and outstanding hospitality, Casadonna has easily become one of my favorite brunch spots in Miami.
Great atmosphere. Chicken milanésa was so tender, the lemon made it was cut perfectly to keep it fresh. Tiramisu was the best I’ve had in a while. Pom was an amazing sever. Very caring and accommodating.
I recently visited Casa Donna for the first time and fell in love with the place— it's so cute and cozy inside! I ordered from the Miami Spice menu, which is such a great deal. I had the octopus to start perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For my main course, I went with the lamb, which was tender, juicy, and beautifully plated. And to finish, the panna cotta was light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. Everything tasted amazing! Also, a big shoutout to our waitress Desiree — she was so sweet and made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back! Just a heads up the octopus is extra on the menu
Every time I come here I request Raymond for his attentiveness and quality of service. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the drinks are so tasty. I love coming for tiny tini night on Wednesdays to get the happy meal with caviar! Aziz the manager, checked in often and made sure everything was to our liking. Feeling like a priority and getting vip service is one of the reasons I always keep coming back for more.
I recently experienced the brunch at Casadonna in Miami and was thoroughly impressed. For $98 per person, you get a 2-hour unlimited buffet (note: drinks not included). The spread includes fresh seafood, sushi, pasta, hot dishes, and beautifully presented desserts. I highly recommend making a reservation as it gets busy. Valet parking is $20 and the service was fast and efficient. The food was excellent, the ambiance elegant and vibrant, and the service outstanding, especially thanks to Angelo, who provided amazing attention. The décor is inspired by the Italian Riviera and creates a luxurious, feel-good vibe. Though some online reviews mention a few dishes being underwhelming, my experience was consistently positive. Casadonna is perfect for special occasions or a stylish weekend outing. Would definitely return!
Such a great time at at Casadonna! The food, atmosphere and service was incredible. Our server, Pom, was very attentive, knew the menu well and offered wonderful suggestions - we really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend.
Little tooo tight and too loud like for place with that long waitlist. Hard to do reservations But food is good, team who working are great, clean, beautiful, romantic atmosphere(but not nice personality for me sitting soo close to so much strangers) dinner for 2 people without desert - 500$+

We had a wonderful dining experience at Casadonna, made truly memorable by our server Pom and his assistant, who were outstanding from start to finish. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth genuinely enhanced the evening. The food was delicious, served promptly, and everything arrived exactly as ordered. The beef tartare was a standout — truly wow. The endive salad was fresh and dressed perfectly, my pappardelle bolognese was outstanding, and the chicken milanese was an absolute star of the table. The NY strip (ordered medium rare) was good, though not quite the highlight compared to the other dishes — we’ve had more tender cuts elsewhere — but still enjoyable overall. There was one very minor hiccup when the steak arrived before steak knives (and knives in general for the milanese and pasta), but it was quickly resolved and didn’t detract from the experience. All in all, fantastic service, strong execution in the kitchen, and dishes we would absolutely return for. Pom and his assistant truly made the night.
Casadonna was such a vibe. My partner and I visited here for dinner and it was a good experience - personally not a wow factor for me but it was a good experience Keep in mind it is on the "overpriced" side but the service was top notch, our server was an absolute sweetheart, the food was good and the ambience was great. I enjoyed my experience here.
This restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the waterfront view truly takes it to another level. My server was wonderful and the food was amazing, especially the Wagyu meatballs, which were incredibly delicious. The only downside was having to wait about 25 minutes for a table even though I had a reservation.
I visited with a group of friends during Miami Spice. It was nice because we got to try quite a few dishes. Among the dishes I tried were the tuna crudo, grilled octopus, Ceaser salad, fritto mixto, lamb, fries and the chocolate cake. Everything was good, but nothing wowed me. Actually, the fries and the Ceaser salad were the most memorable ones. Service and atmosphere on the other hand were impeccable. Drink was different from anything I had before. It was like a "lavender martini". I would go back to try other items on the menu, and definitely for its service and atmosphere.

Went for Sunday brunch. Ambience was on point. Brunch selections were plentiful. However the prime rib and pasta were ok. I anticipated a more flavorful steak and the pasta was overcooked. I have to say I enjoyed the oysters and shrimp cocktail. Our server was attentive and all staff was professional and pleasant. I am glad I went for the experience as I have a bucket list of restaurants however would I go back. Least likely I will.
A beautiful restaurant! Service was impeccable especially Hanna! Food choices were excellent however a few more meat choices would be nice. Chicken and churrasco/ribs. I love pets but seeing someone bring their pets here was not appealing.

We had dinner at Casadonna and were seated outside, where the ambiance was warm, elegant, and beautifully designed. The food was good and the service reasonable. However, the experience was overshadowed by a very strong smell of marijuana in the outdoor area. It became impossible to truly enjoy the wine and food with that odor, and a restaurant of this level should not allow smoking in the dining space. Additionally, the music selection was disappointing — in my opinion, it felt more like Calle 8 bar music than the refined atmosphere the restaurant aims to offer. Overall, the setting has great potential, but these issues really impacted the experience. I hope they address them.

What a stunning venue first off. Also great service and solid drinks... but that's where it dropped off... the food was mediocre and arrived with pre shredded Parmesan cheese. The food was very underwhelming either over salted or under seasoned for all of the dishes. I requested salt and pepper but was only brought salt. I really do have to give it to the team - bartenders were on point with great service and quality drinks, our server and server assistant and sommelier was great! Even the manager and hostesses were great and asked us how we were doing and took great photos but the food was just not it. Great for a photo opp and dinks but don't come hungry.
Great ambiance, service and outdoor seating! Food was average, for the price point I would go elsewhere but definitely worth going force for the experience!

I'm just happy this was a Miami spice menú. So it was not expensive because normally would be pricey. The food could have been good if served on time. For a plate of prosciutto I asked for some bread which took 35 minutes. The people I invited there asked for something spicy to add on to their main entree plate, that was brought to the table 25 minutes after when we had finished. It took them another 40 minutes to bring our dessert. The venue is great, it's in an historic building. It was the Miami's Women Club, their historic clubhouse, a Mediterranean Revival structure on Biscayne Bay opened in the 20's.
Ordered the campanella bolognese and food was barely warm. Prices are exorbitant with service not matching the cost.

Horrible service, we waited for over an hour for our table while we had a reservation for our table !
Mediocre food. Terrible service. overpriced. There is nothing redeeming about this place. I'll be surprised if they last long. Never again.

If it’s food and service you’re looking for, do NOT come to Casadonna! Came here for our anniversary and we waited 30 min from our reservation time and by the time they were ready to seat us they took us to a banquet outside along the water that was completely wet, (which I realized after sitting down in). We were then left there for another 10 minutes before someone came out to seat us at another table. Meanwhile, no apologies for either making us wait 30 min past our reservation time nor for taking us to an “out of service” table, which my bum got soaked in. 40 minutes later, we got seated at a new table where the fans were blowing strongly right behind my head. I immediately requested that the fan be turned away or turned off. When she relayed the message to my waiter-to-be, he scoffed at her and said this was not his department. He then greeted us at which time we realized he would be our waiter for the remainder of our experience. We made sure to let him know that we hadn’t been off to a great start and instead of offering us complimentary cocktails for the wait and inconvenience he offered us cake, (which I think they would normally have given anyways due to being our anniversary.) The oysters were amazing, hamachi subpar, Caesar salad ok, cacio Pepe pretty good, but they were out of branzino which we were bummed about. (Which he initially recommended to us for our order) “At least we'll get cake,” we said. Nope, one scoop of chocolate ice cream rolls up and the waiter literally made sure to mention 3 separate times that it was, “on the house.” Seriously, big deal. The ambiance and space is super beautiful but that’s just a part of an overall dining experience; food and service being more important imo. Never coming back.
Yesterday my friend and I came to your restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst service experience I’ve ever had. Our server was Tomas O. It started when we politely asked if the outdoor heater could be turned on. He responded by saying he could turn off the fan instead. After asking three times, he finally moved and turned on the heater, rolling his eyes and clearly showing how annoyed he was by our request. He then asked what kind of water we wanted and told us there was no tap water available — only bottled water. When we were ready to order, he insisted that he needed our entire order at once or the kitchen would not accept it, which is simply not true. When our food arrived, the burrata salad we ordered with added prosciutto came without it. He told us that nothing could be added to that salad, even though the menu clearly offers the option to add items. Shortly after, it started raining and we asked to be moved under the covered area. He transferred only one plate, leaving the second entrée and all of our drinks behind. After waiting quite a while, we had to remind him about the remaining items. He brought one more plate but still left our drinks. We asked twice for the dessert menu and never received it. When it was time to pay, we were not provided with a printed check and were instead presented with a payment terminal displaying only the total. We were not informed that gratuity had already been included. This is not about the money — it is about transparency and trust, and unfortunately the situation felt misleading rather than accidental. I worked as a restaurant manager for many years, so I truly understand how much effort, money, and dedication goes into building a business. That’s why it’s especially disappointing to see how one person can damage the overall experience so significantly. Everyone makes mistakes — people can be inexperienced or tired, and that’s completely understandable. I am always patient and empathetic. But this felt like a mix of rudeness, dishonesty, and clear disregard for guests. I would also like to mention that the other servers who assisted at our table were kind and attentive. You have a beautiful interior, good food, and lovely guests. Unfortunately, the service we received was absolutely unacceptable. This is the first negative review I have ever written in my life, but I have also never experienced service this poor.
