Catch of the Day is known for its lively atmosphere with live music and excellent drinks. Carlita is a standout staff member, praised for her charisma. Some find the fried fish lacking seasoning and the mojo unappealing, while others highly recommend the fried fish.
Tip: The live music is a highlight, with one reviewer specifically praising the singer and güira player.

We were in town after a cruise and decided we wanted a good, casual seafood place near our hotel. This place came up first, and it did not disappoint! Friendly, prompt service, and all of the food tasted fresh and was hot. Generous portions too. Empanada appetizer was the best I have had since a Venezuelan food truck in Michigan. I had the Grilled Mahi Mahi & Shrimp Enchilado with yellow rice and potatoes. The main dish had so much meat in it and the sauce was wonderful! My husband had clam chowder and the Shrimp Trio, and he said it's one of the best clam chowder he has ever had. He is picky when it comes to clam chowder so that was a huge compliment! The generous happy hour was an added bonus, 3-7 every day including weekends. Margaritas was on point! Glad we stopped here, it's a hidden gem. Only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere was that we opted for the patio and it was noisy due to traffic. Other than that, a great experience!
Unexpected pleasure, in for the night before cruising and stumbled upon this gem. Arrived and was greeted immediately by a young lady and sat nearly a lively group, but the atmosphere was pleasant (low key) the music was lively. Our server was Hector Nelson and he was great, there was some things on the menu that didn’t have, but he made some alternative suggestions and the food was delicious. Overall a very nice place to get some good eats that is walking distance. Would definitely go again.
The food was tasty and the service was great as well. My husband had the red snapper and said it was amazing. Portions are plentiful. Definitely give this place a chance.
New owner as of September and he's been in the business for over 30years owning a Cuban restaurant just around the corner from here. Talking to him you can tell he loves this job. Very attentive and comes to your table like old school owner's. Great food and atmosphere. Big portions really great service. Clean large areas. We are from Los Angeles and we love our seafood this restaurant is top notch comparison to our seafood. We had a great experience all around. If you want a friendly space to eat quality food come on over. Will definitely be back in the future.
Such a great find. Had the octopus and it was wonderful. Drink specials are great. If staying near airport definitely hit this place up. Owner came around and talked with us and they had music in the evening.
I went to Catch of the Day during my trip to Miami and I get why people talk about this place so much. It’s located really close to the airport, so it’s super convenient if you just landed or if you’re staying nearby. The vibe is very casual, kind of like a mix between a seafood spot and a sports bar. They have a nice outdoor patio, a lot of TVs with sports on, and some nights they even have live music, which makes it really fun and lively. The food portions are big, so you really get your money’s worth. I tried the whole fried snapper, which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – that’s probably one of the best dishes there. The fish tacos and calamari were also good, and a lot of people recommend the mahi and shrimp plate or the octopus with chimichurri. Honestly, the seafood feels fresh, and when it’s cooked right, it’s delicious. But to keep it real, not everything is perfect. Some dishes are just “okay” – like, they fill you up, but they don’t
Catch of the dayis a real catch! The atmosphere was great and the food was far better than we even hoped for. Yisel was excellent and courteous throughout our entire meal. Highly recommend giving this place a try. The all you can eat crab legs were cooked to perfection.
We had a great time here. My octopus was amazing. My wife loved her stone crabs. Great vibe on the patio. Our server, Mayrobys is a rock star. Always there for us. Highly recommend.
Very good food. We had the fried shrimp and they were huge. All the staff was friendly and helpful to each other. Definitely recommend
Came for happy hour and some of us ate more than others. Everything looked good and my fellow guests said it was good. I had peel and eat shrimp. They were well prepared and plentiful. The drinks were fantastic. We had a few guests as we were outside.
We were staying at a nearby hotel and the staff recommended Catch of the Day, it was a Saturday night so we knew it would be busy. Parking was valet which was nice for a small tip for the drivers, but be early as they have very limited parking. The food was good overall, cold beer and we were lucky enough to have live music mid way through our meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and especially families as we really enjoyed the experience overall.
They're clearly doing something right, attention to detail was great. Got to talk to the GM. He's was freind and really seemed to care about the overall experience his customers were having. I could see the music being adjusted to suit the crowd, really cool to see that kind of attention. The food was great, the lobster bisque is superb. Captains bloody mary was excellent. Oysters are oysters. Overall a top rate experience. Thank you!
☺️ the food was amazing. They are so pet friendly they even brought cold water to my doggie. Very considerate. Love it.
Went to another local restaurant that decided to close early. So, in search of food we found Catch of the Day! We valet parked and went inside. Immediately seated by a hostess in a busy restaurant was nice. We ordered drinks and food. All was promptly brought to our table. The food was amazing! Later on, a bartender came to each table to see if anyone wanted anything from the kitchen before it closed. This was very professional in my opinion. It definitely on the return to list!
I often pass this place going to Magic City, however my plane was delayed & what a perfect timing to stop by. Parking lot is very small but you can use hotel next door for parking. They also offer valet which we used for a small $5 fee, and it was worth it. If we would have not valet we may have missed our flight. We ate outside on patio with a nice breeze coming through. It wasn't too crowded at all. We ordered drinks, appetizer, and main course food. The Martini dipped w/ Corona bottle was to live for. It was amazingly delicious & gave us the right buzz for a delayed flight experience. The price was not too bad either. The server was doing his job to the top-notch. He was very attentive & knowledgeable of the menu. Looking forward to returning real sooooooonnnnnnnnn.
Nice small joint. Valet parking only $3. Cute and friendly waitress with good seafood. Had the whole fried snapper. It’s was huge portion and crispy. Unseasoned so you should salt and pepper the hell out of it. The yuca fries and plantain was amazing too. The soups and dessert was alright.
I love this place, they have the best seafood. I ordered a dozen order of oysters and just went through it in a minute. Then I had a shrimp cocktail which went great along the three cups of ale I had. The music is not loud and the staff are chill and efficient. The outside area is crowded so it’s better to come in early. The prices are a bit high, however they do run lunch specials that are great deals.
I am updating this restaurant's review, because for 2 years now it's had the wrong review for the wrong restaurant. This was a couple of days after we ate at this restaurant in Miami, when I made the review for a restaurant in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. I did not realize this for all of this time, so I apologize to all the 2,000 something people who went to this looking for a review. I will now tell you, that we did eat late at night at this restaurant, and it was a really cool atmosphere, and the people were very friendly, and we had the seafood, and it was really delicious. We also hung out and listened to the live music, and had drinks. There is an attached partially enclosed patio. The next part that you will read, is from ocho Rios. Pretty close to the cruise terminal. Fantastic view and atmosphere on the balcony overlooking Ocho Rios. The server was extremely accommodating, I had the Alfredo pasta with fried lobster. He made me some special garlic toast to go with it. My husband had red snapper that we actually saw the fisherman bring up Their fresh catch. The drinks were very good. Just a wonderful Valentine's Day afternoon.
Me, my husband and mother in law went here for dinner, and it was great. Our waiter was Rafael and he was so sweet! I got Corvina fish that Rafael recommended with roasted potatoes and rice, my husband got shrimp Alfredo, and my mother in law got mixed vegetables. It was all so delicious! The service and food was great, the only thing that was a little annoying was that the music and atmosphere was pretty loud and it was hard to hold a conversation, but other than that we enjoyed ourselves!
We celebrated our daughter’s baptism at the restaurant and it was the absolute best decision of my life!!! Mike and Yiesel (managers) helped me put a menu together for my party of 30 plus folks within minutes and via the phone. The attention to detail was out of this world and food was next level! Kudos to our serve Cesear and Yisel for taking care of us. They made sure to stay in touch with me during the event and really made the day special! I highly recommend the restaurant for any large party/ celebrations! 😊👏
We had a hankering for raw oysters, so entered "Oysters" in the search bar of Google Maps, and this was one of the results. We decided to give it try and once again we found a gem of a restaurant! The staff were very welcoming and really cared whether we enjoyed our experience. Between the two of us we had a dozen Oysters, Fish dip, Salmon Empanadas and Seafood Lasagna, Key Lime Pie, all unique and very delicious! (But also very rich!) Bonus points for valet parking at a very low price (before tip). Highly recommend!
Delicious food and a great experience overall! The $1 oysters were super fresh and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the turf platter and crispy calamari. The kids especially loved the chicken fingers and fries—perfectly cooked and kid-approved! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Great place for a family meal—we’ll definitely be back!
I was there for the first time and I was pleased..went for drinks and Rafael the bartender treated me great I felt confortable right away and met the Owner Mr Soberon.as well..atmosphere very welcoming.
We had a day lay over in Miami and we stayed at one of the hotels across the street and we asked the hotel shuttle driver where is a good place to eat and without hesitation he said Catch of the Day! So after we got checked in we walked across the street and had a couple of drinks since it was happy hour and then we ordered our dinner. The food was great the drinks were good and the food was awesome! Service was excellent as well. We got there early before it got too crowded. If I was ever in the area I would definitely eat here again. Great atmosphere!
Amazing atmosphere. We are staying in Miami tonight to leave for a cruise tomorrow. Catch of the Day was the perfect place to kick off our vacation. The place was buzzing around 9pm when we arrived with the Miami Heat game on. We ate at the bar and had great service. I had fish and chips and a 1/2 dozen raw oysters. My partner had the whole fried snapper. We finished off with chocolate mousse and flan for dessert. As we were finishing dinner, live entertainment was just getting started on the outdoor patio seating area. The performers already had the whole outdoor area dancing and having a blast. Awesome food, service and vibe!
We had lunch yesterday November 20 with my family, we were celebrating my bday. Catch of the day it’s a wonderful place and we went there many times. The place is easy to get to, parking outside, people are super friendly and the food is always delicious. Price is good for what they offer. We had 12 oysters super fresh, fried calamari, salmon, churrasco and stone crabs. Also wine and bloody Mary’s. I couldn’t be happier! Totally recommended this place. Sometimes can be noisy outside during weekends and also fun with live music. Very close to Miami Airport so you can stop for a quick bite before boarding the plane.
Fantastic experience! The food was outstanding and the service was fast and super friendly. The next time I’m in Miami I will definitely come back. The fresh baked Cuban Rolls were the best I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the Seafood Trio and everything tasted amazing. The atmosphere was charming and casual and we enjoyed all the cute Halloween decorations. Everything was very clean.
$1 Oysters ALL DAY MONDAY was really good! We have the Rockefeller oysters omg delicious! And the shrimp with yellow rice was good. Only thing is they kept delivering food to wrong tables but they were all so sweet! Pina coladassss was soooo good! With alcohol! It was so sweet! Must try!!!
Wow!! Look no further for a place to have a fun dinner. Food is amazing. Every dish that came out for other tables we were envious! We were told their whole fish is the best. We didn’t get it but they have all you can eat snow crab legs!!! We had the oysters which were huge and fresh. Shrimp salad was tasty. We didn’t bring our kids but lots on the menu for non seafood eating kids. The live patio entertainment is a violinist and singer. Amazing. Love the atmosphere. Service is good. We will come back here if we were in Miami again. They have incredible specials and a huge happy hour from 3-7pm.
This feeling when you are accidentally at the place which you were looking for but couldn’t find to have a dinner. This place just a treasure for those who loves seafood, fresh crab legs, oysters, shrimps, everything has amazing taste. Thank to a barman Andres, for giving me a very special customer service, very kind and friendly. I am food lover and gourmet person, has been travelled to 36 countries, the Catch of The Day based in the perfect location just near to Miami international airport, and trust me this is the restaurant you MUST have a dinner, and leave downtown Miami for later ☺️ Thank you for great food and mood💜🥰🥳
Arrived in between lunch and dinner, surprised at number of patrons but not crowded. Quick friendly reception and service. Indoor and outdoor dining, by 4pm almost all exterior ( but shaded with a gentle breeze) we're taken. Plenty of table space inside. Extensive menu, amazing plates to share and individual plates as well with a good range of prices and house specials, including lunch and happy hour items on food and drinks. A shrimp basket with fries on appetizer list was amazing with a mango mojito.
Very good food! I had the "Salmon Lovers" it was salmon stuffed with crab and a lobster cream sauce with yellow rice and sweet plantains. Awesome! My server was very attentive and accommodating. It was hard to choose between the many dishes, the only answer is I must return to try them. For dessert I had Flan. The prices are reasonable and a big bonus, live music!
This was a great find just outside of the Miami Marriott hotel and withing a couple blocks walking distance, We did not have to wait for a table and were seated on the patio. The service was great, although we had a hard time understanding the wit stsff, and the menu provided a lot of offerings. There were a lot of locals there and many families as well. We ordered salads and seafood and all were really good. They have a great bar menu and offer pairing suggestions. We ordered peel and eat shrimp which was very fresh and very good, served a full pound in a bucket. We ordered a grilled shrimp and spinach salad that was good. And we ordered the crab legs which were great! The crab was at market price but seemed reasonable we were served bread and offered a great dessert menu but we were full. This was a great place with a great atmosphere and great food.
Super Fresh, reasonably priced. Juan Pablo knows how to recommend dishes according to each guest needs. This is a restaurant that keeps customers coming through decades.
Visited 6th & 7th March.. dinner x 2 and lunch Food and service were excellent. Friend and I went back later and he had the vegetable fettuccine.. said it was perfect. The pork/onions/plantains were amazing.. clean , tender - wow! Great flavour. The mahi sandwich was quite good - not too dry. Decent sized portion and much better than other restaurants in the area.
Super! The food was fresh and delicious (I got fish and chips) the atmosphere warm and cozy! Good drinks and good prices! The staff is very nice and they constantly keep the bar and tables clean! The patio with the band is great too, but if you don’t want to listen that you can stay inside no problem! I sat at the bar and the bartender (Alain)was very helpful, careful and he never took a break, constantly doing something! The food came fast and was hot and good size. I was impressed and I’ll come back!
The seafood paella is my favorite dish here, but I've also loved their lobster, crab, and other fish dishes. The paella has plenty of clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari in saffron rice. Not too many places even offer paella these days. I sat at the bar, and he was busy, so the service was a bit slow. But I'll return! And they give $2 off Happy Hour glasses of wine.
What a vibe, such a cute seafood restaurant that comes with Valet parking near to major hotels and off course…the airport. Tourists galore! Their drinks menu is off the roof as well as their food. I had a pina colada and shrimp basket. The cool thing is that you are allowed to bring in your pets. There is also a beautiful open eating area. My sever was great and very helpful in explaining the menu and his recommendations. Now I wish I had tried the seafood sampler which includes snow crabs, oysters etc. The staff here is also bilingual. Nice crowd, good seafood, great atmosphere!
In Miami for a convention and visited the restaurant. There's music and the atmosphere is festive. Our server was helpful and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I had the ribs and my 2 friends had a shrimp plate and a fish dish. Both said that their meal was delicious and just what they wanted. The restaurant has a all the crab legs you can eat on Mondays. If you're in Miami check it out. You will love it 😉
Chose this place due to close location to our hotel. Was not disappointed at all. The food was so good and you get full portions for the price. Wonderful service. There is a surprise service charge as a tip just so you know. I got the Mahi Mahi and shrimp plate, husband got the crispy snapper… both were so good but I do wish I got to steal more bites of his.
Wonderful Cuban food with fabulous seafood dishes. The red snapper was superb! Boullbaise so huge I couldn't finish. It was delicious.
On Mondays, they do dollar oysters. I had a amazing ceviche as well as a blackened mahi sandwich. I would highly suggest come in here. I was staying in one of the hotels down the street and noticed the spot and was absolutely amazed. Next time. I’m in the area. I am most definitely coming back.
We spent quite a bit but unlimited crab legs was so worth it. We had a delayed and canceled flight and ended up with a day in Maimi and wanted to find some food good. This was a great choice. I got the seafood Paella and my partner got the unlimited crab legs. Both were fantastic and would recommend 10/10.
The food was great. I think the location is limiting a little restrictive because of the location but valet parking was nice and the vibe is good in there. Friendly staff and some good simple options.
Service was excellent, super friendly, was seated immediately. I loved the vibes, it was great, we ate outside in the sunroom area. The food on the other hand was surprisingly bland. Not bad, just plain.
Fun spot, has indoor and covered outdoor seating, went randomly on a Sunday and they even had a live singer play some instruments. When I first arrived the music outside was overwhelmingly loud but they must have noticed and lowered it so the experience was pleasant! Food was yummy.
Food was great, server was good made wonderful recommendations. Atmosphere was fun. Everything was worth every penny. They don't tell you about the service charge. So that was the only surprise. I don't really like oysters but I tried my friends Oyster Rockefeller it was the best thing I have had In a long time.
Flew in from Oregon to catch a flight the next day to Barbados. Asked the bartender at the Air Margarita bar a the airport, since we were staying at the International Airport Hotel and he recommended this joint. Great place. Rafael was great.
We are from the Philadelphia area. My Wife and I vacation in Miami every January. We asked at check in at the Marriott where there is a good place to eat as we had a couple of hours before our flight. He recommended Catch Of The Day. Best Fish and Chips I ever had. My wife's dish was also delicious. We have now made it our place to go for the last four years. Service is great and the restaurant is very clean. Keep up the great work and we will see you next year.
A bit lackluster but the vibes are there! Host is super sweet and inviting, we sat down and was greeted by our waiter. He was so nice i wish i could shout him out but i forgot your name! We ordered, and he brought complimentary bread. That bread was gross 😅 even with the butter It was so bland and underwhelming. We went on a Monday so i asked how much the AYCE crab legs were. It’s $90 bro LOL absolutely not- not for the kind of crabs they’re serving. I decided to get 1lb. of crab legs instead with a side of butter and my partner got a fish and rice dinner. The crabs were also pretty underwhelming 😭 certainly not worth a $90 ayce price. But It tasted fresh at the very least and they bring crab crackers and tiny forks (major plus!) Sitting outside definitely makes up for the dull food. My partner said his fish/yellow rice was good tho.
We went here on12/29/2025. Our waitress was very prompt and friendly. The lobster delicious. The breading on the fish and chips had a strange orange tint to it......but that said the breading was delicious and the fish and shrimp was perfectly fried. My only gripe is the pricing. Some of the items seemed ridiculously high. Like between $75 to $85 a plate.
Good lively atmosphere. Little loud. Very close to traffic if seated outside. Had fish tacos and mojito. Drink was excellent. Tacos were good. Would return if in area again.
My first time here and I enjoyed it. Several seafood options and the customer service was really good. I recommend the Salmon empanadas as an appetizer. The price are fair and worth it. My meal was fresh to oder and I enjoyed the outside seating area. I had the trio seafood platter and I enjoyed their garlic butter sauce. Their soup of the day had shrimps and it was very creamy. I would recommend this location but I will suggest to make you research for their special offer.
We have been to this little restaurant twice now and both times the food was great. Excellent seafood. Dry close to the Miami airport and they are open late. We were there the first time with live music and it was fun. They allow smoking on the outdoor seating so be warned about that. The food is great and the service is too. It’s like a Greg little dive bar that has great stuff. The drinks are very well made. Potent but flavorful. Not too sweet either. Try the Mango Mojoto…three words…de-lush-us!! And the fish is great. Fried whole or blackened.
We visited this place since it was just across the street from where we were staying. This restaurant has some interesting decor and gives the vibe of a truly daily catch feeling. We ordered fresh oysters, jambalaya and stone crab claws. The oysters were fresh and didn’t have the smell we sometimes find in other places. The jambalaya was tasty too. We’ve never had stone crab before so we decided to give it a try and it was tasty, different from Dungeness crab. The claws were extremely hard to crack but thankfully they came partially cracked already so it saved us a lot of work. Overall I think this is a nice place and one that I likely will revisit when I’m in Miami again.
My favorite spot for before and after traveling. Have been coming here for over 13 years and never disappoints. Seafood lovers will agree.very fresh and tasty, regardless of what you pick. Always impress my customers and friends bringing them here when picking them up from their flights as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Decor isn’t really my style as they have quite a mix, but it’s interesting to look at. Outdoor seating is quite nice with the fans going, which also has live music! I got the chicken carbonara, it was so delicious. And hot! The chicken in it was good too, not chewy nicely crisped. With peas. Seen some other floats get whole fishing delivered to their table on a plate, not sure what they ordered but it was popular. I enjoyed the neon lights by the kitchen window. Staff is very friendly, not all have amazing English, which is expected in Miami. Very considerate. Our martini tasted a bit like soap so we had it remade in another glass. Same thing with that, un drinkable. They have two candy quarter dispensers for all who wants gum or runts. They have a decent dessert selection. Have plenty of TVs for the sports fans. I love this place and recommend it to all, the only reason I’m giving four stars is because the bathroom floors were sticky. The bathrooms looked a little outdated and run down as well. It’s a seafood restaurant. Centrally located by airport.
Stopped by since I was in a near by hotel. Great options for the atmosphere and the service. The hostes was so nice and welcoming. I sat at the bar and had a few drinks and appetizer. The drinks were good and the bartender was very friendly. Only ordered the fried calamari and unfortunately it was not great. I will come back to try the food since it has great reviews. The service certainly made up for it otherwise it would have been a 3 star.
Hannah treated us very well. She gave great recommendations and was attentive, quick to meet our needs. The food was amazing; everything was great! Unfortunately, under the new management, they no longer offer a veterans discount. 😏
Had Ana amazing dinner here last night with the wife. To start, the valet is prompt and courteous; hosts friendly and sat us promptly, and waiter never made us wait for drinks. Come Friday/Saturday for live music in the night and a lively atmosphere that makes you feel like a local. Seafood was very fresh and mojitos are the way to go. Only think that stopped a 5 star food was the crab legs were just a little over done, so made it tonight to get out, otherwise I couldn’t get enough. Oh and the butter, don’t know what’s in it, but don’t skip putting your crab or shrimp in this melted golden dream sauce.
The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The drink specials are a must during happy hour. I got the Mango tango and asked for the less sweet version. My spouse got the bloody Mary and really enjoyed it. The food was great, a bit pricey for the shrimp trio for the amount given, but the plantain chips were a delightful experience.
Great food. Blackened Mahi was wonderful. Unfortunately our server, Karla G, was not very attentive. She seemed more interested in taking selfies and chatting with her colleagues than attending to her customers. I have been going here for over 25 years. I will still return. But I would like to see more professionalism in the service.
I went for $1 oysters and asked the bartender where they are from. He informed me they were East Coast oysters so I was happy to try them and I would give my batch a 6/10. They were medium sized and smooth so that was nice. Happy hour drink specials were great as well.
Debes pedir el pescado frito, súper recomendado. El espresso súper bueno. El mojo no me agradó mucho. La cesta de pan que colocan es una tentación deliciosa.
This place used to be very good. But this time the ceviche was decent. The soup was good
07/03/2023 Monday's Oysters, after some time, I haven't been in this restaurant comeback and remain the same offers. The rotation of the food gives that warranty of freshest and excellent tasty. Service is much better compared with last time and price, which is still very competitive the the quantity and quantity of food. This spot is very recommended. 11/01/22 Great Monday, Oysters. I really recommend, probably the best in town I have tried. The parrilla de marisco as well is great and properly cooked. I suggest improving in service and wine list. Congratulations, I have a good time having lunch.
I was disappointed. I was ignored when I first walked in. Maybe because I was a party of one? Even after they took me to a table, it took forever before anyone took my order. I ordered the fish and added a lobster tail and a dozen dollar oysters. The oysters were delicious. The Lobster was good. Tasty. The fish was super dry. I didn't even finish it. I finished and left disappointed.
The food was average, and so was the service. I had the Seafood Trio and my boyfriend had the Seafood Paella with a lobster tail. The Seafood paella was buttery, delicious and very flavorful, but the lobster tail was way too salty and we ended up sending it back. The dinner rolls are freshly baked and incredible. The steamed veggies were tender and perfectly seasoned. The Seafood trio was ok, needed a little more seasoning. The food was a little overpriced to me, $25 each lobster tail and $50 for 1 1/2 pounds of crab legs. Not sure if I would visit again.
Loud and more of a sports bar than seafood restaurant but it was ok. The young man serving at the bar was very nice and delivered good service. I didn’t hear his name it was so loud but the receipt said Frank. Service was pleasant and quick. Atmosphere is not my style. I’m getting old I guess. I hate constant noise signifying nothing. Food also was ok. Not great. For the price I would have thought it better but it was good. Going forward I am sticking with Cuban restaurants in Miami. The food is always great and reasonably priced. Service is going extinct thanks to the “smart” phone. This place might work for you but don’t expect a quiet meal.
Stopped there after seeing reviews ! The fried snapper was terrible! Super old and serves cold . For the quality! This place should be much less . By the name I expected fresh food , but it is not!
For reference, this review is only referring to the Oyster happy hour (Mondays). Sadly the oysters were allegedly fresh, but they did not feel like it. Although the price is ok ($1 per oyster) the size is outrageous. What are the odds that out of 24 “blue point” oysters, all of them are extremely small? I know blue points oysters, I am from New Jersey. Those oysters were in no way blue point. It is simply not worthy as you would need 3 oysters to make the size of a normal oyster. The staff is lovely though.
One bite was all it took. To know I’ll never go back. Easily the worst shrimp I’ve ever had. I’ve have better in the mid west. This place is in Florida. The ocean is right there. How was it so bad. Fries were barely cooked as well. I was in the hotel next door. It crossed my mind to throw my dinner from the balcony back to the restaurant. Trashed it and walked somewhere else for dinner. It was Checkers. I’m not proud, but it was better. The staff were nice.
Beware! Was served alcoholic drink instead of nonalcoholic. While ordering a cocktail I asked if they could make it without alcohol, the server said yes. I asked multiple times to make sure he got it and it’s no issue. We ordered two mojitos, mentioning again that one should be with alcohol and one without. The server nodded eagerly. At no point was I under the impression he was not aware of what I wanted. The one cocktail I received tasted like it had alcohol, I had the other person compare both. Mine was sweeter, so we assumed they used non alcoholic rum. I asked the server, what they use as rum replacement. Turns out his English is not that great and both had alcohol. I would’ve completely understood if they just had said no to my request. I have been sober for 8 years, this was ruined by this restaurant. And yes, nonalcoholic cocktails are called mocktails, but since this restaurant doesn’t offer any, I gave it a shot to ask if they could make one without. A simple no would’ve avoided all of this.
I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a big miss. I ordered the ribs and shrimp, but the ribs were overcooked to the point that I couldn't even chew half of them. The quality of the food did not match the high prices, making the experience feel extremely overpriced. The staff was friendly, but that couldn't make up for the disappointing meal. I would not recommend this restaurant and suggest saving your money for a better dining experience elsewhere. The icing on the cake is they charge you a 15% gratuity without telling you.
Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered a sangria, but unfortunately, it tasted unpleasant and seemed old. The fruit appeared overripe and had a strange flavor. I mentioned this to the staff and decided not to drink it, yet I was still charged for it. I believe it is unfair to charge a customer for a drink that was clearly not in good condition.
I went out for lunch today, and from the beginning the bartender was very polite and attentive. I asked specifically about the tacos because I’m celiac and cannot eat wheat. I needed to confirm whether the tortillas were corn or wheat. He wasn’t sure, so he went to check and came back assuring me they were corn. With that information, I placed my order confidently. When my dish arrived, the tacos were actually made with wheat tortillas. I had to send them back because I cannot consume gluten. What made the situation worse was the behavior of one of the staff members. In a rude tone, she told the bartender that “people with special diets shouldn’t come to this place.” Her comment was completely out of line—unprofessional, unnecessary, and lacking any empathy for someone with a medical condition, not a “diet by choice.” A very disappointing experience.
No puedo ser más mala la comida las chichaitas quemadas cuando le dije que estaban quemadas me dijo que el plato salía haci, ni agua me pusieron en la mesa mal antencion y comida

# Catch of the Day: Un Faro Culinario en el Vibrante Corazón de Miami
