At Charcoal Latin Grill, we're passionate about serving up authentic Miami flavors that will leave you wanting more. Our chefs carefully craft dishes like those that wowed our visitors, who raved about the "cómida" and praised Roberto's exceptional service. We strive to create a warm atmosphere where families can gather and enjoy delicious meals together - as our regulars did when they said it was "rico todo." With attentive service from our team members, like Federico, you'll feel right at home in Miami.
Customer service, especially from waiters Roberto and Federico, is a highlight. Food quality is inconsistent; some find it delicious, while others report undercooked chicken and cold ribs. The grilled chicken with fries is mentioned, but cooking consistency is a concern.
Tip: If ordering grilled chicken, specify that it should be well-cooked.
We were at a private event of our wine club, presented by sommelier Gilberto Garcia, at a dinner paired with wines from Bodega Anaia, the food was spectacular, very good service, thanks to the Charcoal staff for making our event a memorable night . Special thanks to Juan Carlos Won
They have a new worker. Not sure if she’s a manager or not but she answers the phones now and works at the register when you pick up orders. She’s great! The food is great but the service before her wasn’t so good. She speaks English and makes sure I’m never missing anything with my to go orders. 10/10 recommend now
The food was very tasty and the portion were massive. We loved the mashed potatoes and the service from our waitress. I’ll be back on my next visit at dolphin mall :)
I went a couple months ago with my mom and our experience was not that great. The Service and the taste of the food, no my expectations!! 😔. Last night i decided to stop again, i was hungry, and i had the best costumer service ever!!! The waiter was really nice, attentive and charismatic. The food was serve on time, delicious and he was all the time taking carewhen refill was need it. Great server, his name JUNIOR. I recommed this place, and the waiter as well. 😉👍🍴🍲🍷
The food was good and the service was great. When we travel, we usually endeavor to eat at restaurants we can’t find at home. We had the crispy breaded chicken breast with yucca fries and charbroiled pork loin with rice and peas. It was delicious.
I visited this restaurant years ago and loved their food. I recently came by and I'm very happy that the food is still as delicious as always.
Best meat i tasted waiter was fantastic we got our food quickly and its not to loud
Came with family. Food was great. Service was even better. Waitress was attentive. The food was very accurate, as we wanted to get it done. Nice place to eat and relax.
Best chicken churrasco in mami. My gf had the picanha which was delicious. Served huge portions. We were very happy. Price was also great ! Will be back soon
Flew in from Chicago with my wife. We decided to try out charcoal Latin grill after we shopping at the Dolphin mall. The food was good but the service was so so. The server needs to check up to see how the people are doing and also offer some water or another soda. Will be back again.
Came here while on a business trip. I wanted some local food. Everything was great. I would recommend this for anyone visiting.
This is the place to eat great food. We travel from Orlando to visit family. We won't eat anywhere else for our favorite churrasco. As always 5 ⭐ 🌟⭐🌟 ⭐ I always order my presrdente churrasco meal, and my fiancé orders fish meal. Everything is delicious 😋. The service is great, and our waitress Elier stands out; She's always amazing. MR. ARESKY BENCOMO ORLANDO, FLORIDA
On the last day of our trip, we had amazing pasta and grilled meat. The staff were incredibly attentive.
Amazing food and service. Will definitely be returning. A hidden gem by all means. Ask for Maricel and you won't be sorry...
I almost didn’t come in because of the low Google rating. Glad I ignored it. I tried the “new” Ceviche Bachicha and it was a total discovery — fresh, vibrant, and full of character. Absolutely fantastic. On top of that, my server was genuinely friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Maybe the terrace is too dark, but I would come back.
Very good service and great cooking. Muy buena comida y gran servicio. Mention to the balloons guy! He's a star with chindrens. Very nice view to the dolphin's stage if you sit outside. Totally recommended!! Se los recomiendo!
Really good chicken and steak. Great location at Dolphin Mall. Plenty of parking all over the mall. Service was good. They have an outside and indoor eating areas. Prices are fair.
Generous quantity of food, the dishes were taste and well cooked. Service excellent
The place is good, the food is ok, I liked my waitress. The tip was included in the bill, I didn't mind it since there have been a couple of places I have visited that include the tip on. I do think prices were a little high.
Great food but a little expensive. You can feel the quality in the food greatly cooked and served. ONE PROBLEM, if you eat outside you might sweat. It was hot and humid . All the other restaurants had fans in the outside area so there is no reason why this one didnt. Its Florida so if your gonna have an outside area you need a cooling system to keep guest satisfied
Food is ok, but over priced. They do serve a lot of food, so you can share it. Also kids meals are sized large as well. Not the best place to eat, but you want a quick central American meal this might work for you, but prepare to pay.
This place is not close to us but sometimes when we are craving good latin food that we know won't disappoint we drive here. Portions are always very generous, staff is polite and prices are fair. What more could you ask for.
Good place to eat during your shopping at Dolphin Mall. Little noise outside, but the food was good and we were well treated by the staff. Recommend.
The food has potential and the service is great. I would recommend it if you want something fast.
I had the skirtsteak, taste is decent. My parents had the grilled chicken. It was dry as it has no seasoning and slightly overgood.
Good customer service, I ordered the steak medium well and it was well cooked to my taste. You could eat it but not what I wanted. The place is over prize for the quality of the food.
It's my third time here, today was not good. Smash potatoes was a potatoes cream, the churrasco was medium, I did ask for medium well. I hope next time will be as good as always.
There are few restaurants to choose from at this entrance of the mall including a couple of Peruvian restaurants. My wife end up choosing this joint because they serve mash potatoes. I ordered a lomo saltado and it didn’t taste nothing like a true authentic lomo saltado. It was dry and plain. I’m not looking for real authentic knowing it’s not a Peruvian Restaurant, but have more respect for such dish.
The grilled fish is marvelous!! The service is ok. I think because I only speak English; I must have scared them. It took a while for them to acknowledge me. Another English only lady, became a little upset, and asked them why the other people that came in after our 2" different" tables, were approached first. I don't think they meant any harm, the server appeared to be new and nervous. After all was said and done, everyone ate. I wanted something extra and saw a young man passing by, then I felt badly because he had not started to work, but he graciously fulfilled my request, that was awesome!! I think once more English only people stop in, they will feel comfortable approaching us.
Charcoal was decent. Service was very good, the food was okay. Stay away from their "house salad". It was a bunch of wet lettuce. Had grouper that was very good, and we also had some grilled pork, which was fine. Overall, it was the middle of the road. It was good for lunch.
Not high quality restaurant, the chicken was super dry, you can barely chew it. The burger was ok but doesn’t worth the price. Tables dirty and the service was not super friendly either
Food was good at a very reasonable price. But the service was bad. I saw my waiter two times the whole time. Had to practically beg to get water and the one time she brought me the water she was in a rush to leave. I finish eating and was in a bit of a rush because I was hoping to catch a movie at the movie theater. 20 minutes pass by until I finally had to ask another waiter to look for my waiter to get me the check. Just a bad experience overall.
Food was great! Yuca fries and BBQ ribs were amazing except the birds almost ate me alive and the girl serving us had no sense of urgency and was serving way too many people to pay good enough attention to us. The birds are mostly the reason I wouldn't go back but the service is why I would never even consider again.
Service is Ok. Nothing out of this world. Food is not so good specially for the price. First and last time coming. Ambiance is ok. Loud music since it is in the middle of the mall…
I saw this place many times and decided to visit after many years. I order a lomo sartoado it was ok not the typical Peruvian version. The congris was hard and could brake a tooth I had better ones for 1/2 the price they charge. The cooking time was also way to long it felt like they went to cook it at Hialeah and came back. I don't like how the waiter include his tip in the check. I honestly think this will be the 1st and last time I will visit. Honestly I'm a cook and I can make a mush better moros at home.
Food was good but quantity of food was not worth the price. Sauces were good - garlic lime cilantro is a must! Hawaiian plantains were cooked perfectly. Sangria was good - go for the 1/2 carafe. The waiter forgot my daughter’s apple juice and got my husband’s order wrong. When my husband said something he said it would prolong the food even longer - we had already waited 30 minutes or so for food. The meal he got was also 4-5 dollars more than the one he ordered. He did give him the correct sides after correcting him. The inside of the restaurant was small and tables were tight and it was very warm. If we return we’d definitely sit outside but there are many other restaurants to try at the Miami Dolphin Mall.
Pictures are deceiving the picture looks good but not really the steak is hard the churrasco was not even a real churrasco. A place known for their Grill steak is no longer available and The one they do offer is very hard my jaw hurts from chewing this steak should come with a tylenol for the pain.and on top of that it's not cheap, pay 5 more dollar at lunch time and you can go to texas de brazil that's where I should have gone.
Pretty bad food, like seriously. We ordered shrimp and burgers. The shrimp is one of the worst we ever tasted, the burger was dry and flavored. Very expensive for the quality of the food. They include the tips in the final check.
It's not that good service as previous times I've have eaten here, the churrasco was flap meat not the real thing ,prices are way up to high for the service and quality of food being provided. they one customers to support them during these difficult times but then they over charge and produce a lower quality food and service not returning any time soon.
Service and staff were great but the food was blah… The churrasco isn’t a churrasco cut, more of a random carne asada piece of beef. I had my chicken churrasco and it was ok but my partner had to buy food next door - his beef churrasco was gummy and flavorless
The burger & fries were good, the burger was a bit bland but, the fajita were not acceptable. The tortillas were cheap, thin, from a bag with no real taste and the meat was of poor quality; the only thing acceptable were the mixed vegetables. The service was subpar. BEWARE they auto add gratuity which is something I dislike, I usually tip higher if the service was good but no matter what, the gratuity must be left to the customer's discretion. As for their prices they are in line with mall restaurant prices, to high; go to Friday's it better for your dollar.
Mediocre food and poor service. The waiter didn’t come back to check on us at all after he served our food. I had t flag him down for a box and our check. Then, they didn’t even give us an option for tip amount. They automatically added in an added 18% tip. Not sure if we could have crossed it out and changed it, but so tackled of them to do that. No wonder the waiter didn’t care about giving good service if he’s going to get a good tip regardless!
Dined here with some friends and family today. We ordered Churrasco, loma Saltado and skirt steak. The good first. Skirt steak was good. The bad. Using frozen over cooked vegetables. Meat in the loma saltado was tough. Had to call the waiter over because he never came back to ask if everything was ok. Then he offer to get us something else. My mother in law ordered the fish instead. That came out burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside. The waiter did not come check to see if the replacement was ok. Then he took my plate without me finishing my meal. The only times he came over to the table is when we called him over. The ugly. After getting this terrible service, my intention was to leave a very small tip. Come to find out, they add a 15%tip to the bill and don’t even tell you. This was one of the worst experiences with any restaurant, that I have had. I can say that I am usually very understanding at restaurants, as I used to own 2. But this was very bad. Do yourself a favour and do not go here.
The food is ok but I get a weird feeling about this place. When I get with a big group it was normal but the second time I went with my friends (all girls btw) they took a picture of us saying it was free but then they never gave us the picture. Very weird. We all got a weird felling about the place and left asap.
Food was not bad, but if you go, make sure you check your bill. I went with a few friends and most of our items on the check were $1 over the real price. And I never heard of "I'm sorry". The waitress looked kind of upset because we complained.
Good Customer service until the food came out.. Save your money! Food is below average and overpriced! Ordered churasco and it was like chewing beef jerky! Never again..
Horrible service. The waiters are rude. Sat on the table for 15 minutes, no waiters came to our table. I had to get up and go to her, she said she didn’t see me. The food is mediocre. Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because of the bus boy. He was the only nice soul on that place. Never coming back.
I hate to give bad comments about a place but it won't be fair to misdirect the people. The food sucks, hope the oil they used doesn't bother the stomach. Service was ok, the tip was added to the bill not ok. Only thing I liked was their juice. The price point is at the higher level restaurants. Just get inside the mall, go to the food court and feed yourself with better quality food that costs less than half of what you'll pay here.
They had okay food I dont know if id eat here again since they took photos and said tried to sell the photos for 20 per photo. Our waitress was nice and they were transparent but I don't like restaurant who tries to make cash on the side and take advantage of tourist. My sister was a sucker and bought into it. It's kind of sleezy. And when we asked if they can do a deal which the photo would not cost them more than a dollar they said no.
I was reluctant to eat at any of these restaurants but I wanted to consume meat and the food-courts located inside of the Dolphin Mall were not offering just meat but were loading it with meaningless starchy food in the name of complimentary given items. And restaurants all around the US follow this scheme. I could have gone for just a shake at about less than $ 12. But I chose this restaurant and took a leap of faith and like everytime learnt a hard lesson to never eat meat outside in Latin-American based restaurants because they don't know how to keep the pork meat juicy even though they are known for their pork preparations. In that $ 19 dish there was an OK amount of pork tenderloin which was kind of cooked perfectly but it was dry as hell. So even with my most determined chewing, I was able to keep up with it for like 2/3rd of it and for the remaining 1/3rd, I have to ask some attendant for some butter that actually saved me here. Besides the meat I had to select two side dishes which were again starches that I did not wanted but I had no choice because the price will not be changed. I only ordered one side dish-sweet plantains. Even with that the $ 19 bill with added sales tax and 15% gratuity made a total bill of $ 25. I could only suck up to that dried pork preparation and left with a smile. Eating here was kind of regretting.
I tried to eat my food, but it was mostly fat. The servers only spoke Spanish to me, and left me sitting without any follow up. As I write this, I'm waiting for anyone to bring me a bill so I can just leave. NEVER AGAIN.
I had high hopes for Charcoal's Latin Grill, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. The photos on the menu alone were enough to steer me away from ordering a steak—if you're charging steakhouse prices, at least make it look appetizing. I ended up ordering a cheeseburger medium rare. To their credit, it came out at the right temp—but that’s where the praise stops. It had zero flavor. Like, did the cook just forget to season it altogether? Fries were decent, probably the best thing on the plate. What really rubbed me the wrong way though: forced gratuity. Look, I always tip—and tip well—but when it's mandatory and not clearly posted anywhere? That’s a no-go. If I had seen it beforehand, I would’ve walked right out. That kind of thing needs to be made clear to customers, not slapped on the bill as a surprise. This isn't Morton’s by any stretch; it's more like a low-end Latin spot trying to punch above its weight. My bank even offered to reverse the gratuity charge, so I'm still weighing that decision. In short: overpriced, under-seasoned, and lacking transparency. Won’t be coming back.
Talk about RUDE waitresses! I visited this place while pushing my elderly mother who is in a wheelchair. The entrances to the restaurant were hard to find. When I finally saw this very narrow path to go in, it was blocking me because the restaurant had placed huge advertisement flyers right at the entrance. My mom's wheelchair didn't fit with all that blocking the entrance. A waitress stood right in front of me to watch the show, amd offered no help. Even when I asked her to please help me, all she did was shrug her shoulders and say: What am I supposed to do?! To which I was beside myself and told her to remove all those flyers and let me push the wheelchair inside. The woman didn't do that and, instead, pointed at a side door all the way on the other side of the restaurant... Once I got there, she did open that side door. Completely exhausted, I just wanted to sit at the nearest table. Another even more rude waitress blocked me and my mom from sitting at an empty table, saying it was occupied..! Nobody was sitting at the table at all. I just found another place to sit. This new rude waitress took forever to take our order, but didnt mind spending a great deal of time chatting very loudly with her other co-workers, while she had her mouth full of food... She very loudly kept saying how uncomfortable it was for her to sit because her "Hemorroids" were at it again.!!! I have no words. This seemd like a nightmare, but my mom was having a low sugar episode and needed to eat immediately. I don't even have comments about the food. Why? I will NEVER go back there and I hope these two waitresses get a different job asap. Awful is too kind a word for this experience. Mariel is the name of the second rude waitress...
Very bad experience, The Angus Burger was tasteless, I mean TASTELESS, The waiter forgot to bring us part of our order which is ridiculous because I repeated the order twice just to make sure he had everything right. On top of that the waiter gave us a hard time when we asked him to split the check, It took no less than 10 minutes to get the check after we asked for it. Finally they put an automatic tip on the bill, For a place with such bad service it is ridiculous, I dont recommend this place.
Worst steak we ever ate in our lives! What a mistake to eat here! Never again! I didn’t even feel like in USA because our waiter didn’t even speak English! What a shame!
If i could give this place a zero star i would, manager was disrespectful and waitress lied to my face once i asked what the waiter said.(Manager said who is going to serve us and 2 people looked at us and took a long time to decide who was going to take us because we were young), My wife wanted to use the bathroom and they denied her because of her color skin, racist people beware of this place. Will never come back and also don’t recommend anyone to come here.
The food wasn’t very good. The food was over priced for low quality food. Also the service wasn’t well at all. Unfortunately it doesn’t give me the option to give zero starts.
Worst place to eat. They include the tip in the bill. The chicken nuggets and chicken tenders doesn’t taste like chicken nuggets nor tenders. They don’t check if u are good or if you need something else. Also they don’t do refills. So please. Don’t go there
Worst service ever !! This restaurant closes at 10:30.. today I went there to dine with my wife at 9:45PM and we were rejected by the server saying it was too late and the kitchen was already closed. Exactly two minutes after us a group of three friends go and ask for a table, the server sat them in the table and took their orders without any problems. Unbelievable. If you want this restaurant to work please make sure you are providing a good service.
Every time i come here, the service is baaaaad. Probably because tip is included so they don't think they need to work for it. The food is great, but it also depends what you get. Wanna eat from here? Get it to go, cause service here is terrible. i should know, I work as a server for YEARS so i know what I'm supposed to expect, and the quality of service here leaves much to be desired.
My daughter, my 4 year old grandson and I chose this place to eat while we were at the mall. From the get go, the staff was rude. We ordered the 16 oz presidente steak which comes with two sides (congri & cabbage salad) for $32.95 plus we ordered an extra side of fries for my grandson for $3.95. Firstly, the steak came out with a long black hair thrown over the top which we sent back immediately. They threw the congri and french fries on the table. The congri looked like a child’s portion and the French fries were drenched in grease. I looked at my daughter and asked her “you wanna just hit the food court?” and she responded “yes.” I waved over a server and she ignored me until I did it again to which she gestured “me” because apparently she wasn’t the server for our table. I told her to cancel the entire thing and we started getting up. As we were doing that, my 4 year old grandson not realizing what was happening, reached for a French fry and she almost ripped it out of his hand as they cleared the items off the table. I hate to think that they probably served those side dishes to someone else. I hadn’t eaten here in over 10 years and remembered it as being pretty good but I guess a lot has changed.
Horrible food, good service. Everyone's food was plain, i ordered the chicken pasta and got some watered down cream. Left most of my plate, skip this place.
Well this place looked like a good place to eat but wrong. Supposedly the best skirt steak but that is totally false. Salt was clumpy and disgusting. Soda was $2.5 for a can. And automatic tax on the card. I like giving cash tips and they said no. Never again and won’t recommend
I would give it zero stars if I could. Sat there for 20 mins, they didn't have the table clean, no water, no napkins. We asked another waiter for water and he waved us off and said it was not his problem and disregarded our request. We waited another 15 mins before they brought us water and the water was dirty and full of things floating in it. They food was tasty but the customer service was absolutely horrible. We asked someone for our check to leave and he told us to ask our waiter. We are still waiting about 20 mins for our check and still nothing. People have sat down and left because of the lack of service to the customer. I hope this changes because the food was actually good.
warning to everyone: do not eat at this restaurant .. 1. It is usually empty and they have 3 waiters yet they still will leave you waiting for a long time to attend you. The waiter did not ask us how our food was or pay attention to what we had ordered. He only came and refilled water without talking to us and was cold and rude . 2. At the end they had the audacity to WRITE IN PEN the tip amount on the receipt and say that "gratuity is included the machine just doesn't show it". And finally 3. I had to call the police and call my bank because my credit card information was stolen from this restaurant with me and 3 others in the same table .
Horrible overpriced, bland , almost tasted microwaved from the previous day food. Never again.
Was there with my mom in a week day last Tuesday went inside sat down place was empty no one approached us then we decided to sit outside we did sat there same place was empty waiter stood by the entrance door didn’t acknowledge us at all even though we eye contacted him and we had to go no service at all and place was empty noon time I would say 1ich 2 the most horrible experience. I’m a restaurant manager my self would not go there or either recommend
Terrible food and service. Do not recommend. They charged an automatic 20 percent gratuity on a bill for five people. Does not state this anywhere on the menu. Waitress needs to work on English. Don't waste your time or money.
I hated this place! I’m a huge fan of Charcoals by Kendall. They are my favorite place and I go 2-3 times a week. But this Charcoals by Dolphin is the worst mistake I’ve ever made. My Gallo pinto was cold, fries were stale and my baby churrasco was half of the portion that I get at the other Charcoals. They didn’t have lemonade, charged me $5 for a mango juice that was canned and they sold it as housemade. Service was also terrible, they were very pushy and wanted us to get more stuff since we were the only customers there. We didn’t even want to leave tip, but tip is mandatory in this place. Will ever never ever come back.
I wish I could give them less than a star, our experience here was pretty miserable. A really long wait time, they gave us our entrees before they remembered that we had ordered an appetizer. I had order a vegetarian quesadilla but instead they brought me the fajitas, claiming that's what I ordered. The burgers were overcooked, the chicken in the pasta was dry, and their bread sticks for the pasta was really just Cuban bread. Felt sick after eating here.
The food is good but the service is some of the worst I've ever experienced. Our waiter forgot part of our order twice and thought it was funny. My husband was drinking beer and had to waive him down multiple times to order another because he didn't come back to the table for 30+ minutes after our food was brought out. They were not busy at all so there was no excuse. On top of terrible service, they add their gratuity/tip to your bil regardless of how many people are in your party. We always tip well but the service we received today was not worth 20%
WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN! I cannot believe what I whittnessed here this place should be shut down. We ordered the burger and the fajitas. Both came with fries which were rock hard stuck together in big chunks of mess. The burger was dry and had no taste at all so so bland you could tell it was frozen. Everyone struggled to even eat. Even worse was the fajitas the plate comes chicken. Rice and a few wraps no cheese salad or sauces. The chicken was hard tasted burnt frozen and bland it was disgusting. The rice had a mixture of soft grains and rock hard grains and the wraps had a very cheap, off taste. We didn’t even touch the food. It left the table the same it had arrived. We complained that the food was absoloutely awful and it was quite clear no one ate the food. But all they said was ‘would you like the check’ not even addressing the fact we were all left starving with full plates of horrible food. So rude! We told them we wanted some compensation which I think is fair as nothing was eaten but no they told us they were sorry but they couldn’t do anything even tried adding a 20% tip?! At this point we were all angry and tired of the horrible food and disgusting service and paid and left feeling disappointed and robbed of our money. I honestly advice you to not eat here as you will most likely be left ill and unwell from the state of that food. I’ll say again WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER VISITED!!!
Food was horrible. The fries were wet and soggy. The service was very bad. We refused to pay for any of it but the manager made us pay $5 for the appetizer and didn’t even apologize for the bad quality food or inconvenience. Very unprofessional staff. Bad quality food. The ambiance reflected a horror movie. I don’t understand how this place is still open for business. I took one bite of the burger and almost threw up. That’s when I knew I had enough.
Food was terrible, no flavor at all. Tasted like reheated leftovers. Waitress was kind enough to check on us and being at dolphin mall we had some live music from the bar in front but wouldn’t recommend, terrible food at a very expensive price.
The waitress's service was not bad, she was attentive and helpful, the food was without exaggeration, probably one of my worst experiences I've ever had. I ordered a picanha and it was so hard that you couldn't cut it. It had an unpleasant taste. The tostones were cold and looked like a mace the fried yucas were cold and greasy the only redeemable thing was the french fries which, without being extraordinary, weren't too bad.
Horrible table service from the gentleman, and they include the tip for you. Chicken was like trying to eat a rubber band, and the rice was mooshy. I took 3 bites, paid the bill to never return. So 😡 😡
Poor service and food. "Baby" churrasco was asked to be cooked medium well but it came well done and tough. Fries were stale. Burger was ok. I had to look for someone to get my bill. They took way too long to bring the bill and my waiter was cleaning instead of finishing the sale. my card was at the front desk just sitting there. When I went to get my card some lady told me this needs to be signed...I told her this should have been brought to me by now and she stayed quiet. Of course tip is automatically added so customer service is not a priority. This place was not too busy so there's no excuse for bad service. I highly recommend you eat elsewhere. Also the veggies taste like are just frozen and heated up in the microwave. Barf...
Food was horrible (reheated). The service was very bad. Very unprofessional staff. Bad quality food. I don’t understand how this place is still open for business. I took one bite of the ribs and almost threw up. Very pricy too. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT 🤢 it needs -5 stars.
The lady that took my order was rude and gave Horrible service. I should have left then but still placed a chicken soup to go. Should have looked at it. A few little pieces of chicken, almost no noodles, and lots of carrots. I should have taken a picture but was in shock of what they served me. Will not go back there again.
Went there with girlfriend and our 15 month old son, our food came quickly, son's never arrived. Wait staff never came to check our table after bringing food, asked other wait staff to check on son's food, no success there. Food was unremarkable at best. Had to hunt down the waiter finally to get the check after waiting 20 mins after we were done eating. When my girlfriend complained, waiter told her to relax. That was a a big mistake. At best the food is mediocre , the service is incredibly unprofessional. We won't make the mistake of eating there again.
Please be wary of this place. We ordered two churrasco chicken plates, the mozzarella sticks, and a grilled fish. Needless to say, not worth the wait or the price. The two chicken plates were colder than the refrigerator temperature and the fish was very dry. The hottest food was the mozzarella sticks and fries, lol. Again, not worth the wait, stay away, very away. Also, the service was subpar. BE VERY CAREFUL of Charcoals Latin Grill. It saddens me to write something like this about a Latin restaurant.
Went with my daughter and order 2 ribeye steak , horrible , super hard very bad quality of meats , we didn’t eat the food nor the drinks and they still charged us 90 percent of the bill . I will never go back . This place is horrible .
Food was bland and very pricey. It was not worth spending $57 which included prepaid gratuity. We ordered shrimp fajitas but it wasn’t the typical fajita brought out sizzling with all the fixings. The only thing included was the shrimps, onions and peppers. I ordered 2 sides but only received one. My daughter had white rice as a side but it looked like the 1 minute microwaveable rice. A total waste of money after taking 2 bites of our meal.😩
Came here for my first and last time. Food was okay. Service was absolutely HORRIBLE. We only saw our server a total of 2-3 times when she took it drink annd food order annd brought us our food and she didn’t even tell us her name! We waited 20 minutes hoping she would come by after we finished and it had to get to the point that I had to call out to her to do her job! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! Save your money and your time!
Disappointed Return Visit I’ve been to Charcoals before and always had excellent food and service, but unfortunately, this visit was a major letdown. The mariquitas were cold and stale, and the chicken tasted off, not what I expected from a place I’ve previously enjoyed. The service was equally disappointing. Our server was rude and condescending. didn’t ask what sides we wanted, and just brought out rice and plantains without saying a word. He practically shoved the food onto the table and never came back to check on us. We had to flag him down just to get the appetizer we ordered. This experience really changed my opinion of the restaurant. Hoping it was just an off day, but based on this visit, I’m not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.
