Honestly, this might be the best smash burger I’ve had in all of Miami. Super juicy, crispy edges, perfect flavor - just amazing. The whole vibe of the place in Coconut Grove is great too, and the staff was really friendly. Food: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Price: 10/10

Surprisingly fast service service on the weekend, and they were stupid packed. The daquri was really refreshing but not too sweet and the nuggets were a very generous size. Will be coming back

I really liked all the food except the nuggets idk they just weren’t as good as all the other food could be crispier but overall very very good and would recomenf

Chuggies is the groves hidden sunshine! Burgers made to perfection no fuss! Crispy shoe string fries, soda without the artificial addons just crispy slightly sweet and to top it off mini crispy chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream that rivals the ice cream shops around without it being their speciality, fees like a chefs kiss with fast food prices! ! And if you’re really wanting the Chuggies experience get it by ordering the happy meal with its cute presentation and a toy, you honestly will feel like you’re a kid again

Burgers were great but chicken sandwich wasn’t the best. Tasted like a McChicken sandwich. Smash burgers were good and the fries were on point.

don’t believe any of the bad reviews, they just opened and got slammed their first two weeks. this is because the burger is amazing. great spot

The lower reviews are overly critical in my opinion. There isn’t a single place in the grove as cost effective for the quality of food you are getting compared to Chuggies. Their staff is friendly and the environment is good. I’ve tried a few things on their menu and enjoyed it all. With the wait time, you may need to go to their pick up window and mention your name. But that’s not a big deal really. I am friends w a couple of Chug staff and they are friendly, welcoming, and give a good experience. I think what would enhance their space a bit more is the space’s atmosphere. It’s clean and simple but something as easy as picture frames w Chug’s memorabilia could help give the place some story and depth. Add some history Thx for the deliciousness

really good food and Augustine, the guy working there, was very nice and helpful!! Picking up the food and eating it outside is such a pleasant experience and i really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back often, especially because of the great location.

Great value and delicious. We had the classic Chuggie, frita royale and shaker fries. Everything was tasty and fast. Enjoyed the mojo ketchup and pickled onions on the frita.

Exactly what the grove has needed. Not sure what all of these negative reviews are about — restaurants have kinks the first couple weeks but at the end of the day it’s all about the food is which is fresh and delicious. I love the OG burger with no sauce and the shaker fries (in both flavors). Son loves the soft serve. Try to find another spot where you can get a burger for under $10 that’s not frozen. I would love an upgraded bun, like brioche, but that’s minor.

Great burger 🔥 Much needed addition to the grove for sure. My wait time was decent and the food was awesome.

Such an amazing addition to the neighborhood. Prices are beyond fair, felt like a breath of fresh air. Kids loved the chicken nuggets and burger and the ability to hang out around the closed street. Frita was delicious blending tradition and a unique flavor. Fries and dessert hit the spot. Very helpful staff as well. First week hiccups, if any have subsided. We had food in hand within 10 minutes.

Decided to try Chuggies after seeing it all over tiktok and hearing many good things. After trying, I believe it may be a little overhyped. It’s a good decent burger, nothing crazy. A little pricey and everything is sold separately. Staff was friendly and service was quick!

The food presentation was very nice. Eloquent and presentable. The food quality was good but the burger was a little bit salty, things that I didn't like. There's no tables inside the facility we had to eat outside. Also, I didn't like the simple fact that there was a service charge 10% included in the bill. There was no option of opting out. I think that this is unjust because if I'm putting in the order and no one is taking my order and no one is serving my food. I don't understand why there's an extra charge for the food that I'm buying especially for a hamburger place. And on top of that, they have the audacity of asking for a tip at the end of the bill on top of the gratility charge that they force you to pay. These new startup places are getting out of control with the extra charges and later they complain why people don't go back. Can you just imagine if five guys or shake shack were to put a service charge of 10% included in their bill? Do you think that people would go back to these places.

We saw this on a few influencers pages and we had gone to chugs diner before so we said let's give it a shot. The experience was good the staff was really nice, the food was ok. I wouldn't travel the 35 to 40 minutes to go there again though. Plus the parking situation is bad. The food was alright but nothing special. (don't get me wrong it wasn't bad) but after the service charge, and taxes you end up spending more than your expect. The frita was good, the Shaker fries were good, the cookies if they were warm would of been great, the cone was not worth the 5 dollars even with the hard candy shell. I'm not hating on this place but don't listen to the influencer hype, there's better burgers out there.

Yes, the prices are cheap but I’m a firm believer of you get what you pay for. We paid 10 bucks for a burger, fries, Mexican soda, and chicken nuggets. The quality of the burger patty and of the chicken nuggets isnt that great. Not sure if they are frozen, but they seem to be. The breading on the chicken nuggets looked like they used old oil because it was dark. My favorite thing was the Mexican soda. I felt like I was eating a McDonald’s or Burger King burger. We ordered through DoorDash and the dipping sauces we ordered never made it.

Chuggie’s in Coconut grove, was ok. I really was exited to visit it, but I thought it was a very average burger, the fries although only served in small portion was average too. We also ordered some chicken fingers that were soaked in grease, not good. Also the beverage they sell are not Coke or Pepsi, of course, my kids didn’t like it. Overall, the service was lousy, the food was nothing worth writing about and the sitting area was some picnic tables and if you are lucky 🍀 you will be able to have a seat, because we had to wait at least 30 minutes for someone to get up for us to sit down, so if you go to Chuggie’s find a place to sit first and then order your food, because if you don’t, you will be eating standing up. It also was in the expensive side for the food and experience they offer.

Went out of our way to go get a frita which is one of thier main items and they did not have any. Settled for a chicken sandwich which wasn't very good. Husbands burger was decent but nothing out of this world. Fries were the highlight.

I guess it’s hit or miss and today was a miss. Food sucked, frita royal was not as described. The onions were raw and not pickled, drenched in ketchup up and under cooked. First visit was way better. Hope this place gets some consistency

Respectfully, I would love a refund. These nuggets are so burnt I ended up throwing them away. The fries are so salty and taste like straight oil. Classic burger was mid..nothing crazy but nice marketing.

First time and unfortunately the chicken nuggets were very disappointing. My daughter ordered the nuggets and fries — the nuggets tasted almost identical to a McDonald’s chicken nugget, just a little bigger and very processed. The first order actually came out burnt, so they did remake them for us, but the second batch was dripping with oil and still didn’t taste fresh. This review is only for the chicken, as I do understand Chuggie is known mainly for their burgers. I’ll definitely come back to try a burger next time, but the chicken nuggets were not it.

I usually rarely leave reviews for food places, but I just have to say that this spot represents everything that is wrong with Miami right now. The reason I rarely leave reviews is because opening a restaurant is hard enough, and I do not believe that if someone is genuinely trying their hardest to give you good food at a decent price you should put them down just because something was not right for your taste buds. I think it is good for the city to have new restaurants opening all the time and giving people new and exciting things to try. But this is very clearly not someone who is trying their best to give people decent food. At the very least they have decent prices, but I cannot think of anyone who has ever had an actual frita that would enjoy this place. I am honestly pretty frustrated because I came here after watching a Mr. Eats305 review, and he is usually pretty on the money, but this place was just objectively bad. I ordered a cheeseburger, a frita, fries, and a drink. I was excited for the frita because I thought it would be cool to have a new and aesthetically pleasing place for people to try fritas, but now I realize why they say if it is not broke, do not fix it. Compared to El Rey de las Fritas, this frita was plain, flavorless, slightly burnt on top, and lacked everything that makes a frita a frita. The cheeseburger tasted like the type of frozen burger you would get at an amusement park stand. The chug sauce was pretty good, but honestly, I have never disliked a burger sauce. The fries were fries, nothing to complain about, and the option to add seasoning and shake it in the bag is nice, but I cannot say I will ever go back or recommend anyone go considering how trash their burgers are.

I have had burgers before (beef and chicken) same level as McDonald’s and today got a chocolate ice cream for my toddler. It is not ice cream - light brown, icy and couldn’t even decipher the taste, my toddler didn’t even eat it. I seldomly leave reviews but I would rather eat McDonald’s. Note - they even charge a service fee for ordering your own food on a self service station.

Food was decent - I ordered and paid for 3 kids meals, in addition to our food - only to be told that they were out of chicken nuggets. I was told that a refund would be issued to my card for the 3 items as the kids don't like (or would have eaten) the other option, which was burgers. Two days later and it seems forgotten. I will need to initiate a dispute with my credit card company as the phone number listed rings and rings until a busy signal pops up. It isn't a terrible amount of money but the principle of stiffing the customer in today's inflationary environment is not cool. I don't understand how they can take payment for items they don't have - something that should easily rectified with the software they use, which still tacks on a 10% "service" fee for the pleasure of touching a computer screen to order your food.

Ughhh I wanted to love this with all of my heart but I cannot. I’m a local grove girl since birth, and I am so happy for everything Ariete brings to the grove and its economy but omg. THEIR FOOD CAN NEVER BE HOT!!!!!!!!!!! I was the only customer in Chuggies and THE FRITAS WERE SO COLD. Not freshly made. It’s so depressing. This is the same thing with Chug’s, the food NEVER COMES HOT. And I’ve brought it up every time I go. I try time and time again and it never comes hot. Same deal with Chuggie’s! It’s so tragic bc the concept is amazing but the execution is 0/10. You’re better off going to El Rey Las Fritas 😭 EDIT: my sister said “at gables high in 2010 you’d get a better chicken sandwich that was hot for $2” LOLOLOLLLOL
