Finka Table & Tap Miami Reviews
Finka Table & Tap is easily one of the most unique and exciting dining spots in Miami. The fusion of Cuban, Korean, and Peruvian flavors is creative, bold, and incredibly well executed. Every dish feels thoughtful and packed with flavor — you can tell the kitchen really knows what they’re doing. The croquetas are next level, the Korean BBQ inspired dishes are perfectly balanced, and everything that hits the table looks just as good as it tastes. The craft beer selection and cocktails are also top-tier and pair perfectly with the menu. The atmosphere is lively and fun without being overwhelming, making it great for a night out with friends or a casual date night. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and on point the entire time. Finka is one of those places you keep coming back to because there’s always something new to try and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!
Visiting the area and popped in for lunch...food was absolutely delicious! Atmosphere was very nice, waiter was personable and attentive. Everything was so flavorful. In house chips served while waiting on our meal, yummy. Appetizer:pork belly; Meals: Japchae noodles...10 stars, Oxtail with mushroom risotto...golden ticket, meat fell off the bone.
I came with my family to celebrate my father’s birthday at an Asian and Cuban fusion restaurant. The dishes were unique and flavorful. We started with the vaca tostones and yuca bites as appetizers. For my main course, I ordered the Cuban fried rice, and for dessert, the guava cheesecake. Everything tasted great, although some of the dishes were quite high in sodium, which my father didn’t enjoy. However, the waitress was very kind and removed my father’s dish from the bill since he couldn’t eat it.
Outstanding cocktails 🍹 Outstanding appetizers particularly at happy hour 🍻 Bartender Max is outstanding. Knows his stuff well. Naturally the best Cuban croquettes in town. Try the malanga fritters w meat. Absolutely phenomenal. Happy hour is great and naturally the food is delicious. We will continue to visit due to the great experience.
Very good dinner at Finka! The cozy, rustic atmosphere is a vibe. You can tell this place puts love into both their food and their service. Our server Lionese was fantastic! Super friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable of the different offerings from the regular menu or specials. She was also very helpful when it came to choosing the right drinks. The Halloween themed old fashioned was very good (it even had a little pumpkin shaped orange peel). The short rib over mashed potatoes and asparagus was rich, tender. Very delicious. The churrasco was also very good and cooked as requested. For dessert we had a cookie skillet that was out of this world. Another good recommendation by Lionese. Will definitely be returning many more times!
Amazing. Highly recommend. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint! There were three of us. The food was different and delicious! The presentation of the food was great. The server was super friendly and helpful on choices. Loved everything. Worth the hour drive.
Great service from our server and the food is delicious. The plates are very original and elicit your curiosity. The food my wife and I ordered was cooked to perfection and the plates were big. A great atmosphere with good music.
Outstanding food, incredible and personalized service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The waiter Germaine was incredibly kind and the manager Bernie, as always, was very welcoming and making sure everything was pure perfection! This restaurant delivers excellence in every way. A must-visit!
I loved the place. It offered a wide variety of dishes, combining flavors that I adored. The desserts were delicious, and the customer service was top-notch. A special mention goes to Valentina, who was always eager to please us and gave us a great explanation of the restaurant's concept. Congratulations to everyone.
Ho-li shite, probably the best piece of flank I’ve ever consumed. Absolutely insane
100% recommended. Absolutely loved this place. Amazing Cuban Korean fusion cuisine. Atmosphere is really nice. Great service and unbelievable prices for the quality of the food and experience. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Miami.
We had a great time here! Friendly service, plenty parking , Food was good, Except the meat, we had issues with two of the dishes we like medium and they could not getting right , twice , we send one back and by the time was ready the rest of the party was already done eating , was made well done again we just accepted like that manager came to our table an apologiZe and offer some discount , Keep that in mind just in case , Maybe the cook is used to more well done term , Cuban fried rice was a hit Anyways Overall was a good experience
After many friends kept recommending and insisting to stop by Finka lunch or dinner, we finally made it this past weekend. It was a great experience and we will surely be coming back. The service, food and drinks were all excellent. Whether you're a Miami local or on vacation, add this place to your foodie list. Their Wu-Tang Flan in nothing to #_*+ with! ★★★★★
My friend had oxtail with polenta. It was delicious. I told the server I wanted something lighter because I wasn't too hungry. He suggested the fish with cauliflower rice. It was great and perfectly cooked. He also suggested an amber lager that was amazing. Great service, ambiance & food. Highly recommend.
I love coming here while in Kendall. It feels like it came out the midtown area. The drinks are amazing and the food just as much! This last particular time I tried the Smoked Brisket with the 3 cheese Mac and cheese as a side. Everyone kept stealing bites off of my plate because it was so tasty. I believe it was cooked for 9 hours and just incredibly tender. We also ordered The Bison Burger. Not sure if it’s true but the waiter said it will be discontinued very soon so I’m glad we got to try it but it wasn’t as filling as we thought. The fried egg gave it really good flavor but I feel like the wedges were a little bland. For drinks I had the house margarita which was tasty topped with a uniquely grilled lime.
Cuban, Peruvian & Korean fusion. What more could you ask for? The atmosphere is beautiful, the service superb, the food taste like home yet the recipe is filled with things you never thought would go together in a dish, but boy do they. If you are bored eating the same old food. I highly recommend FINKA becauee you will hands down try something you’ve never have before. A Miami gem that deserves so much more attention.
I liked this place I ordered the cuban fried rice and loved it. It had maduros, red peppers, eggs and shrimp. It was really good. It had the option to add a side I chosed baca frita. What a great conbination that was. This is a cute restaurant. I enjoyed the decor. The furniture and the little touches here and there make this place cozy. There is plenty of street parking and near. Service is good and the food exelent.
Food is not bad and served with a very large quantity, worth the money, it’s a little pricey for some items but overall pretty affordable, service is awesome. The only thing I can complain is the flavor is a little bit too sweet for me but that’s a subjective thing, overall 5 stars experience.
We love coming here but our latest visit was the best one yet! Incredible service, delicious food, and amazing cocktails. Without a doubt the best restaurant in the West Kendall area. The highlight of our night was the braised oxtail with mushroom risotto that went perfect with a glass of red wine. Thank you Santi for the spot on recommendations and wonderful service.
Whenever you are in Southwest Miami, this restaurant should be on your “must go” destination list. The greeting at the door and the rustic decor will give you that welcome feeling. In addition to their unique fusion menu, they also carry a fully stocked bar. We were two at my table. My lunch date had an adult beverage and I went for a café con léché. We shared the ceviche and tostones cups. The latter a must try. The Cuban fried rice was my entrée and the stir fried shrimp noodles were my date’s. The food was flavorful and well seasoned and their serving portions were generous .We didn’t even have enough room for dessert. I will go back and highly recommend this spot.
One of my favorite spots in all of Miami! It’s a little more secluded and not as close to where most of the action is happening but definitely a great excuse to explore Miami more than the average person. Location is interesting as it is located in a Publix plaza but kind of in the middle of the parking lot, being it’s own building (weird but also private?). Either way, it’s an amazing and much deserved stop. The decoration and ambiance inside are great. The bar area is also a great spot to hang out and get a drink before getting a table – believe you’ll most likely have to wait for one if no reservation has been made – which are great! Bartenders are knowledgeable and can deliver a great cocktail! Not only that, they also have a new drink menu, which keeps drawing me back (I wish more places did this!). Once seated, there are plenty of food options available. They’re known for their latin-Asian fusion and I’m not mad about it. I usually play safe with the croqueta pizza, which is to die for, but anything on the menu is pretty much a safe bet. The burger is also another safe option done to perfection! Service is always spot on. For all the reasons above, Finka is a must visit restaurant in Miami, you’ll be thankful you did.
I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars because the food is phenomenal. Wonderful flavors, cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and large portions. Cuban Asian fusion sounds odd, but the flavors are delicious. I had the harissa chicken and risotto and it was the perfect blend of comfort food + gourmet flavors. The guava cheesecake was amazing as well. I will definitely be back here.
I would 100% recommend FINKA! This place hit a 5 star rating on all fronts; Atmosphere, Service, and FOOD! If I wasn't just in town visiting I'd definitely love to make a trip back. FINKA is a Cuban/Korean fusion with a WIDE array of food options to choose from. The menu is pretty extensive for such a niche concept, which I applaud! Our server (I think her name was Marie) was incredibly attentive and super sweet. The black bean hummus was outstanding and served with plantain crisps as "dippers", and the fries are superbly seasoned and fried. I ordered the Tuna Poke bowl and my partner ordered the Korean Fried Chicken. Both were outstanding! You should absolutely check this place out if you're in the area.
You know when you go to a restaurant then don’t go for a few years… and finally go again and it sucks… well that’s not the case with Finka. I’ve been living abroad for the last 3 years and have been dying to go back. Went today and it was better than I remembered. The arroz con pollo fritters are incredible. Literally, life changing. The Brussel sprouts, super yum. And the brisket ravioli… WOW. I asked for a spoon so I could drink the mango sauce like a soup. The drinks were excellent. I had the Tamiami Mami, ordered 2 rounds… that guava candy 😋 Not to mention our server was excellent! Very attentive and helpful! We had to order the kitchen a round of beers (a menu item that I thought was really thoughtful on behalf of the management- the service industry has had it rough these last 18 months, gotta show them some love) Can’t wait to try Amelia and the new Doral concept.
Finka has been one of my go-to spots for fantastic food, service, and atmosphere for a few years now. The quality of the above mentioned has never wavered, and I have always felt welcomed. I still can't believe how fair their prices are! This past weekend my boyfriend and I sat at the bar and received the most friendly, attentive, and timely service from the bar staff. -Shout out to Pedro!
I have been coming to Finka Table & Tap every year for my birthday ever since it first opened, and it has always been my absolute favorite restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, and most importantly the incredible team have kept me coming back without fail. This year’s visit was extra special. I was in a bit of a rush to get to a nail appointment, and from the moment I walked in, the service was nothing short of amazing. I was greeted by a super sweet young lady who is a new hostess (I wish I could remember her name!) and attended by Carlos, who took my order. I explained to Carlos that I was in a hurry and didn’t want to be late, and he went above and beyond to make sure my order came out exactly as I wanted and incredibly fast without sacrificing quality. In all the years I’ve been coming here, everyone has consistently exceeded my expectations when it comes to customer service. A big thank you to Carlos, the lovely new hostess, and of course, to Eileen, the owner, who has truly made a mark in the restaurant industry by building such an exceptional team. Finka will always be my go-to celebration spot!
Lovely family lunch at Finka today. Consistently great food and service. Vaca Frita Pizza continues to be the standout menu item for me. And of course, ready access to Islas Canarias croquetas is always a huge plus. Also, a special shout-out to our server, Jacklyn. Very charming and hospitable. Looking forward to returning again soon.
This review is well over due. my husband and i see finka as home away from home. Nobody in Kendall cares to have the knowledge in mixology that these bartenders posses and it starts with the passion the bar manager has for quality, flavors, balance, technique and execution. All the food we order compliments the bar program. All the bartenders are genuinely interested in making us the perfect drink, from recreations from our travels, flavors we crave, classic cocktails or we just let them decide and they never steer us wrong. from your experienced bartenders we see Friday nights, to the new faces we’ve gotten to know on a slow Tuesday. Thank you for being a staple in our neighborhood. you guys are a gem and as foodies that travel the world, what your team does at Finka is pure magic.
Great service and delicious food. They accommodated a party of 9 on a Thursday night. The waiter provided great recommendations on food and drinks. Some highlights include: Pork Belly, Churrasco with Sweet Potato, and Oxtail with Mushroom Risotto. The waiter suggested the “I Like You Elote” mezcal cocktail. Initially the concept of elote flavored Mezcal sounded risky but the waiter was right. A very delicious cocktail.
I've been coming to this restaurant for years and it NEVER disappoints. Hats off to the chef for her creative dishes and beautiful take on fusion cuisine. It's my annual birthday tradition (along with various other times throughout the year).
Outstanding experience Drinks: Very unique and delicious Food: Wow. I could not stop eating. Incredible fusion of Cuban and Asian food where you just cannot go wrong with any plate. Appetizers to main course to dessert. Atmosphere: Very chill and nice, rustic decor inside. You would never guess this place exists in a strip mall. Service: Prompt and attentive I cannot wait to come back, next time I’m in Miami I will definitely stop by here again, at least once.
Great food. The fried rice is always awesome, especially the Cuban. The black bean hummus was a delicious appetizer. The service was good, and dessert was amazing. The banana bread was warm, soft, and delicious. It paired amazing with the scoop of ice cream. I definitely recommend.
Excellent restaurant on the west side of town, Best quality Bar in west Kendall. Cocktails are EXCELLENT, beer is also excellent it's all from local breweries. If you have the time to stop by at the bar and enjoy a few cocktails and they got some good happy hours too then ask for a table and enjoy your dinner we were a party of five everything was excellent food was excellent everybody liked it, great time the place gets very busy but the staff is excellent everybody's making sure that everything runs smooth of course things happen but you can tell that the restaurant staff cares about it.
So Good. OMG everything was amazing. Service AA+ our server Raul was great. He suggested almost all our food. Uncle Bernie, the manager topped it off by making us feel like family. The appetizers are great, we had 3 different ones. Next main coarses. The bacon pizza, KFC, and steak fried rice that we all shared, loved it. Now for the desserts. We had to try all 4. All so good. Which was best depends on which one of us you ask. We will be here again and often. Cant wait to try everything on the menu.
Fab dinner I’ve been wanting to try Finka for ages so thought we’d drive down to 137 on a sunDay. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. our bar server was top notch! His service, knowledge, attention to detail, recommendations, and outright personality were some of the best we have encountered in the miami area. I guarantee you a great experience. This restaurant uses fresh ingredients and scratch made food at the bar and in the kitchen. Our drink selections and several courses were first rate in both taste and presentation. Can't wait to go back.
Yes yes yes!!! I fell in love at first bite. Amazing food, and very interesting options to choose from. They have a great understanding of flavors and what Pairs well together resulting in different innovative fusion dishes made excellently. Had the brisket with the broccolini and the mash- wow! It was super tender and juicy and just the right balance of sweet and salty flavors. If you're a foodie, come on by you'll love it! Also tried the oxtail pizza with goat cheese and truffle honey and it was another home run. Finally, for dessert I tried the cookie skillet and well just when I thought the meal couldn't get better, it did!!!
Really love this restaurant. The food is so delicious, I really can't think of one plate that did not explode with flavor. Pretty well priced considering the quality you're receiving. The drinks are also so creative and delicious. 10/10 recommend. Can be a little loud but pretty worth it in my opinion. Servers are always kind and like I said the food is just top notch. Try to goat cheese balls, they were to die for!
This restaurant is located in a shopping center but is a standalone building. There is plenty of parking. It is a loud and dim restaurant with a very cool vibe. We sat at the bar and our bartenders, Chris, and Jax, were friendly and helpful and made us delicious cocktails all night long. We ordered a few appetizers like the ceviche filled tostones, the octopus, and the pork belly. All were flavorful and satisfying. We also had the hamburger & the fries were fresh & crisp. I had the sweet potatoe noodles and added shrimp. It came in a small looking bowl but it was a very large portion. I would definitely go back.
Amazing servers. Was very impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable my waitress Liliana was, then I looked around and realized the professionalism was the same at every table! Brisket Risotto was an experience, combines my favorite things: pasta and BBQ
Last night, we reserved the back patio for our wedding celebration, and I couldn’t be happier. From the beginning, working with Ariel, FINKA’s event coordinator, to the setup and day-of service with Adam and Aiden was exceptional. They transformed what could have been a stressful day into a seamless experience, anticipating our every need with care. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were, as always, perfect. If you’re considering a venue for your next event, look no further—you won’t be disappointed!
Germain v is an amazing server extremely attentive and even offered to box up food to go and bag it up definitely a great experience and the manager Bernie going beyond his way to make everyone in finka have a great experience. The food was amazing there’s absolutely nothing in the establishment that doesn’t taste delicious.
Amazing taste, amazing ambiance and great service. The ride from Broward to the restaurant took a little bit 43 minutes but it was well worth it. My salmon was delicious, but the empanadas and croquettes were my favorite. I was able to taste a few dishes because we were a party of 12. Enjoyed the drive and the food... reasonable for the portions served I almost forgot the drinks, delicious! Birthdays are a must a this place... our group enjoyed the instant celebration...
This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Tamiami area. We ate here for my birthday, and I was so happy that I picked Finka to celebrate. The dishes we ordered, the Picanha, the Salmon, and the croqueta pizza were all amazing in their own way. I highly recommend the shrimp risotto, it was outstanding. The truffle green beans are a wonderful side.Their arroz con pollo appetizer was literally so delicious as well. I have nothing bad to say about this place! The vibe, the food, the service, and the drinks were all outstanding! Will definitely be returning next time I am in town!!
The dim lighting and black ceiling create a warm and intimate environment. The servers and polite and cheerful. Their music on a Sunday afternoon was 70s through 2000s hits that made us gently boogy in our chairs. The restaurant was a little more than half full and a little loud, but holding a conversation wasn't a challenge. The part you're waiting for... the food. The food was everything to write home about. The grilled octopus with chimichurri potatoes was grilled to perfection and so flavorful. Hiding below it was some hot sauce I'll pass on next time, but I know most would appreciate it. The churrasco (mp=$38) with sweet potato mash was equally delicious. The portion was a little smaller but enough to be filling. It also came with asparagus, and we ordered a side of the parmesan risotto. The risotto was creamy and cheesy but not overbearing. The food really is a 10/10. I had the watermelon juice, but it was underwhelming. I would recommend everything else, though.
Always a pleasure to dine at FINKA. Great service, amazing food, and all around perfect for any occasion. This is hands down the best Cuban restaurant Miami has to offer. From the cocktails to the appetizers, everything tastes delicious. The service is remarkable because of how welcoming everybody is. Heidy, Mariana, and MJ go above and beyond to always remember our order and take care of us to the next level. Bernie is the manager who always passes by to check up on us and make sure everything is running smoothly.
Wow, talk about a different yet amazing experience. I absolutely enjoyed my visit and look forward to going back. My family and I went on a rainy day and the area they seated us in was beautiful with a green house feel. You could see the pitter patter of the rain on the glass above you and from where I sat right behind. The wait staff was extremely pleasant and polite. The food was great, they start you off with fresh baked chips and let everyone settle in before starting to take orders. My favorite thing that I tried was the pork Belly appetizer, it was one of the best things I have ever tasted!
Finka doesn't disappoint. Been here a number of times and always have a great experience. The hosting staff is very responsive upon requesting a table and the waiting staff is attentive as well. The decor has unique touches. Enjoyed a few appetizers this visit. Food was hot, fresh and flavor packed. Great assortment of fusion items on the menu even though the menu isn't huge. Excellent food and service once again.
This is a family favorite every time we’re in Miami! The menu has something for everyone, and the flavors never miss. This time I had the Cuban fried rice—absolutely delicious! The vibe is always great, but definitely make a reservation if you're going during peak hours, especially at night. Highly recommend this spot for a flavorful, fun dining experience!
My mom and sister hosted my bridal shower here and it was everything and more. Working with Ariel from the beginning was awesome - very responsive and helpful. The team at Finka was amazing the day of. They treated me and my guests wonderfully and the service was top notch. We had the entire space - both private rooms - and it was such a beautiful and perfect event. Thank you Finka for the great service, amazing food as always and perfect venue for my shower (and any event!).
I tried the Tambor de Rabo Encendido at Finka Table & Tap, and it was outstanding. The dish arrived bubbling hot with a beautifully golden crust and an aroma that immediately pulls you in. The oxtail was incredibly tender, full of deep flavor, and perfectly balanced with a touch of spice. The creamy, gratinated topping — finished with a touch of truffle — added richness and a refined depth without overpowering the dish. Finka continues to impress with their creativity and execution. This plate is a perfect example of Cuban-fusion comfort food done at a high level. Highly recommended — a must-order if you visit.🔥🍽️
Where to begin! The food - amazing The staff - very friendly The drinks - on point The vibes - where they should be This place was lively, a great atmosphere, fun for birthdays (we saw a table get a sparkler dessert celebration), and I can’t say enough about the flavors of the Asian fusion restaurant. Some of the things we ordered: see photos Everything was amazing. I wish I had two stomached because I would have loved to eat more and try more dishes. I will 100% be back Getting hungry just reliving this meal. 🤤
This place now holds a very special place in my heart. My husband and I went the non-traditional route for our wedding and we hosted a wedding dinner at Finka after our courthouse ceremony on August 1. The amazing service started with the event coordinator Ariel who was always so helpful and responsive. We were able to visit the restaurant multiple times before to measure for decor and the managers and staff were always super helpful and attentive. On the day of our event, we received incredible service and attention. The staff went out of their way and above and beyond for our wedding. We had an amazing experience and the whole night felt like a dream. We have no regrets doing our wedding this way and we are eternally grateful to Finka for making it so special!!! The guests were able to enjoy delicious food and drinks (open bar) for our wedding and we felt like we made the best decision!! Thank you to everyone who worked that night!!! 🤍🤍🫶🏻🫶🏻
I went in and dined alone and enjoyed the atmosphere! The music was jamming and the food was slamming! I was pleased with how cheesy and delicious the Braised Oxtail Pizza was 😍 It also goes nicely with some barbecue sauce! I cleared the Mac and Cheese 😩 that as well was delicious! I definitely recommend this spot for date nights or an escape from home 🙌
@finkatableandtap celebrating my wife’s birthday lunch we headed over for a quick and delicious afternoon bite. The service was excellent, we were greeted and escorted to our table quickly and within a couple of minutes our server was taking our order. Upon a recommendation of my daughter, I ordered the ropa vieja pizza and it did not disappoint; the pizza crust was well baked and the fusion of Cuban cuisine with an Italian flavor was outstanding. My wife had the mushroom risotto and it savory but it lacked the creaminess of similar dishes I’ve enjoyed at high-end restaurants. My daughter ordered her favorite menu item which is #hamburger and it was really good. I enjoyed the fusion of #asianflavours with an American hamburger and the #frenchfries were outstanding; perfectly crunchy on the outside, juicy and served hot. I am very grateful with the fact that we did not have to ask for refills of waters. Our water bottles were frequently replenished without have to look around for someone to attend to us. I was there for the opening of #finkatableandtap many years ago and it has consistently improved both in culinary and service fields. Keep up the good work!!
Did birthday lunch at Finka with my family this weekend. The food was excellent and so was the service. Been there several times and every dish has been delicious every single time! Highly recommend.
came here with party of 10 for wifes birthday. reservations were on time. seating comfort was ok, not great. service was on point. food wise, everyone was happy. from fried fish to pizza, no complaints on food. only gripe here? the room they seat large groups in is really noisy. zero noise abatement and all hard surfaces. everything echoes.
I almost never leave reviews but this time was different. I think anyone who’s looking for an amazing meal at a reasonable price should look no further. I myself ordered the Brisket Wonton Ravioli and to say it was heavenly is an understatement. My choice of drink was the Coco Taco Cream Ale and it was a good choice. When it came to dessert I asked my amazing waitress Valentina to bring me whatever she recommended and it was the Banana Bread because it was her favorite. One bite of it and I knew she was right, it was to die for, I only wish I had more room to finish it lol. So in conclusion I’m glad I made the choice to stop in and you guys would be too
Real gem in Kendall! The staff is always incredibly attentive throughout our entire visit. We have been here on multiple occasions, and we've had the pleasure of exploring a different types of dishes, and each experience has been nothing short of delightful. Whether we opt for savory or sweet, FINKA never fails to satisfy our taste buds. One of the highlights of our visits has been the exceptional cocktail selection. From sour to the sweetness of their options, and even the adventurous kick of spicy blends, their cocktails are a journey of flavors. We eagerly anticipate returning to explore more of the items on their menu. The restaurant's commitment to excellent customer service, coupled with consistently impressive food and innovative cocktails, makes it a five-star destination that I wholeheartedly recommend.
I really love this asian Latin fusion place in West miami. The ambiance is amazing, and the food is inventive and delicious. My friend and I shared tostones top with seafood ceviche. It was a little bit over lemony, but really good. As main, we shared an oxtail pizza and korean BBQ chicken. Both were perfection. Our server, Veronica, is a sweetheart. Very attentive, and explained each dish very well. We were so full that we didn't order dessert or coffee. Next time.
My wife and I went out for lunch and to treat ourselves on our wedding anniversary and we chose the restaurant La FINKA. We arrived around 2pm, without a reservation, and were immediately offered a table and Elizabeth was our waitress. Elizabeth was able to answer our questions about the fusion food, the origins of the restaurant, and she also gave us details about the menu. Finally, since we went with the intention of eating Cuban food, we ordered: Mini empanadas (delicious), Harissa roasted 1/2 chicken over chicharo risotto, Masitas de puerco with rice & beans and maduros, Avocado Salad, 2 jars of draft beer Flan de queso, Cuban coffee. Overall, the service was excellent, and the food was well done with good temperature. The only thing to point out, could be the high prices, but acceptable for those who, like us, wanted to have a memorable lunch. Many thanks to all the employees and management of FINKA. Keep doing well!
Went here for a Birthday dinner Loved the atmosphere, service was amazing and the food was great. Some entrees were literally perfect in flavor and seasoning. I had the Oxtail dish and it was delicious but the risotto at the bottom was too salty. My partner had the Korean Glass noodles and they were too salty as well. His Korean Chicken was amazing though. I would like to try this place again.
Review for @finkatableandtap ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Food is amazing, everything has a twist 🤣 but in the good way. I usually don’t go there at dinner or weekends because it is very crowded and loud, but at lunch time during week days is perfect. Service is fast and friendly and food is delicious. Plenty of free parking. (Sorry I’m a Miami downtown girl 😂, I always mention parking) As a @yelpmiami elite member I give them a total 5 stars review with no complains at all. Definitely check them out if you have not yet done so. Cyril Miranda Miami Real estate agent
Phenomenal experience and we can’t wait to go back. Drinks were exceptional and food options were great. Had a perfectly cooked churrasco with sweet potato… amazing! The mushroom risotto was incredible as well.
Had an amazing time at Finka Table & Tap. I went with my girlfriend, my dad, and my mom, and everything was great from start to finish. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was still on point. Our server Jermaine was incredible—super attentive, friendly, and professional, especially considering how packed the place was. Even though it was crowded, they did their best to get the food out as fast as possible, and everything came out hot and fresh, which we really appreciated. The food was seriously delicious. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The yukas and cheese were insane, and the mac and cheese… wow, total comfort food done right. The drinks were amazing—well balanced and flavorful. The Dr. Zack cocktail was my favorite for sure. To finish it off, we had the affogato, and it was absolutely delicious, the perfect ending to a great meal. Overall, great vibes, great food, and great service. Definitely a place I’d come back to and highly recommend.
The food here is very good. The nachos are so tasty. We also had short rib with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes had truffle (I thought hint of wasabi) and were delicious. We also had ribs that were very good. For dessert, we had warm banana bread with ice cream with was perfect. Definitely would return.
Max the bartender attention to detail and incredible bar skills made our happy hour even better. We normally are picky for our drinks and every single drink was perfect. The atmosphere was also great as always.
1. Valentina was our server, her recommendations were on point, she knew the menu, the sauces to a "T"! Super attentive to our every whim. 2. Food not only was the presentation done well but the brisket was a spectacle of layers of flavors, the fried rice was so enjoyable that I wish to.go and try the different flavors (we had the Cuban fried rice with churasco). 3. The price was affordable and fair that you will want to return. Finka will out shine any other restaurant in Brickell, Gables , beach, definitely worth the drive and the 15 minutes we waited for a table
Amazing decor it feels super cozy and warm. I usually don’t leave reviews but felt I had to because this place is so amazing! I love the atmosphere and DESPITE it being called an Asian restaurant on google not only does ir serve Korean dishes but many Latin dishes too! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw ceviche on the menu! There are also many neutral dishes that are seafood and on top of that a wide variety of pizza! This place is honestly top tier! Love the variety and the servers/waitresses were very kind. They also put some Christmas decor up that I found very cute. Overall amazing I have no complaints. Honestly though do expect to pay around 20-35 per person based on what I saw on the menu, if that is within your budget I highly recommend this place! Definitely worth your money☺️ Ecuadorian approved🇪🇨
“Wonderful lunch experience at Finka! The food was exceptional—especially the octopus, which was perfectly prepared. My family and I loved every dish. Excellent service, great atmosphere, and consistently delicious flavors. Highly recommended!”
One of the few places in Miami that lives up to the hype and it's true to its description. Many restaurant classify themselves as "fusion" but in reality there isn't much creativity in the "fusion" aspect. From the food to the cocktails, Finka is able to deliver on the marriage of flavors and it's what a fusion restaurant should be. My first visit was a little over 3 years ago and I am glad it has been able to maintain the same level of interest and service. Will be re-visiting again soon and hope to have another great experience. Update: have been back a few times since and while the fusion aspect is still there, some of the food items were overly seasoned. We found ourselves reaching for some lime in order to cut some of the saltiness and balance the flavors while also drinking water constantly.
Great food and service. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. The server made some recommendations and followed up various times checking on us and the food. I ordered the brussel sprouts and a poke bowl. Both were awesome. The decor is very nice and comfortable. It’s out in west Kendall so it’s a drive but worth it.
We just completed everglades safari Park and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with unique Asian fusion dishes. The ribs were super tender, smash burger was juicy and fulfillingz fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside, salmon tar tar was nice, but sauce a bit too overpowering, chicken with Kale well prepared, ravioli with cheese sauce was nice, and papaya salad was unique and would order again.. Of course we tried alligator appetizers and pork bellies...both yummy. Fi
Even though I couldn’t order the pumpkin spice whisky sour because I forgot my ID (that’s my bad) our waitress Leoniz made sure I didn’t miss out on the spooky fun. She went out of her way to craft a few mocktails that still kept the spirit and creativity of Finka’s Halloween season cocktail menu. She was also super fun to banter with and made the whole night that much more memorable. Her dessert recommendations were also fire. Do yourself a favor and get the flan. Legit one of the best I’ve had in Miami. Thanks, Leoniz. You owe me a PSWS. Minus points cuz I kept getting dripped on from some kind of condensation from above.
Definitely a classy locale. 90% of the guests dresses up for this. The appetizers are quite good, and the drinks are definitely inventive. The steak is amazingly prepared, and its sides are not an after though, and it pairs beautifully with the steak. My only one complaint is, the funky odour when approaching the restroom. It's quite gross. Aside from that, the food is great!!
It was great overall, we had the oxtails amazing- smoked brisket and also the brisket ravioli. Everything was so delicious and more than decent sized portions. Cocktails were aesthetically pleasing and strong ;) wonderful experience. Waiter was knowledgeable and very nice. Pork belly and radish tacos is a must try when you go!
This is a special place! The food is delicious, perfectly seasoned and uniquely fusing several cultures to create new dishes! The pork belly is perfectly cooked, the grilled octopus is tender and the fried snapper is a must try! Their drinks are hand crafted and they squeeze all of their juices fresh daily! Really enjoyed the drink “baby hit me one more time’ with vodka, fresh squeezed juices and a sprig of sage as a finishing garnish - perfection. The place is friendly, great vibe, and definitely not a pretentious place! I love that, we sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly, but she was so busy and a little distracted - she forgot to ring in one if our dishes, but still won us over with a sincere apology and friendly personality. The place was quite chilly, even with wearing a long sleeve tee shirt, pants & sneakers in December and I was FREEZING! That’s the two main reasons I couldn’t give them 5 starts... I would definitely go back when in Miami
Food was good but nothing special. Shared some apps and entrees; the churrasco was the best thing that we ordered. They also sat us in the enclosed porch area? and the bench I was sitting on was so uncomfortable I couldn’t wait to stand up to leave. I will say the servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the cocktails were great.
This is my first time here and I must say that my expectation was high. I ordered 3 special appetizers, mini empanadas, three main dishes, and desserts for today. All appetizers were good, though the kimchi mussles (forgot to take picture) was a bit overly salty. The empanadas was bland. I did not like it. First main dish - cuban sandwiches was very sour, I could only take one bite and had to stop. Second main dish - braised oxtail was super salty. The risotto that came with it was overcooked and it was very mushy. I only flavor I got from this dish was only salt. Last main dish - Mac and Cheese, I ordered this for my daughter and it was bland. It seemed like it was cooked with cheese powder and topped with grated cheese. For dessert, I had banana bread, flan, and skillet baked cookie. Banana bread was very good and I recommend this dish. For the flan, caramel at the bottom somehow tasted sour. Skillet baked cookie was ordinary. Overall, the food was ok, nothing "wow" about it. I recommend appetizers and dessert, not main dishes. To restaurant, please take it easy on salt.
Been coming here for a while and yesterday i got the first “bad service” experience to be honest. Went for our good friends bday party and the waiter didn’t feel like working apparently because we barely saw him and it was like pulling teeth to get our orders in and basic service. He forgot my drink order all together and just overall had a whatever attitude which sucks because the food here is great minus the sweet potato “mash” which is basically a soup lol. Would recommend for sure just get a waiter that actually feels like working that day.
The the menu is unique and definitely different but the execution of it didn’t live up to the description. The pork belly was fantastic and a highlight. The “malanga nachos” with no malanga and rather yucca were a mess soggy with a giant glop of guacamole over picadillo, maduro and soggyness. That made for a fail. The lomo saltado lacked flavor of any culture, Latin or otherwise but did have an oiliness that was undesirable. The server was MIA most of the meal after the order was taken or the check was dropped. It could be so much and was not.
Lindo y agradable. La comida muy rica y el flan de queso delicioso. Contrasta con el ridiculo precio del refresco, $7.50 por 1…
I really wanted to like this place. Service is good, decor is fine, the waiting time is long, but the food is... lacking. They served me the saddest papaya salad in the history of papaya salad (and I had plenty, some really sad, but this one was a case apart). The nikei ceviche was the opposite of fresh and vibrant. Cocktails were good, though, and the malanga nachos were solid. I would give it 3 stars, but that papaya salad... How a chef can serve that and their restaurant not be a desert? Beyond my knowledge. Skip it, try some of the amazing options Kendall has. Or go just for the cocktails.
The restaurant ambiance was pleasant and inviting, but the tables were too tight and small, which made the seating feel cramped. The service felt rushed, our server kept pushing us to order without patience, and we actually enjoyed the experience more when our server stayed farther away. The food was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the indoor sitting area was uncomfortably cold, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, while the atmosphere had potential, the combination of cramped tables, pushy service, and chilly indoor temperature overshadowed everything.
I don’t understand why the vaca frita and the oxtail meat is always so salty. The last time I stopped to visiting this place for the same reason, after a couple of years I decided to give it another chance but unfortunately haven’t changed. The concept is good but the taste super salty.
I recently visited FINKA Table & Tap in Miami to celebrate my grandmother's 96th birthday with my family. We were excited to enjoy the evening at this well-known establishment, renowned for its fusion of Cuban, Peruvian, and Korean cuisines . Miami New Times +5 The Infatuation +5 Foursquare +5 However, our celebration quickly turned into an embarrassing ordeal. After placing our drink orders, we were approached by the manager just 45 minutes later. He questioned the number of drinks we had ordered and informed us that no more would be served until we had ordered food. This was not only unprofessional but also humiliating, especially in front of our entire family. To make matters worse, the drinks were overpriced and poorly prepared. My favorite cocktail, the "Saved by the Bell," was served with a massive ice cube, filling the glass three-quarters with ice, and costing $20. This left me questioning the value and quality of the beverages offered. This experience was nothing short of disrespectful and has left a lasting negative impression. I will never return to FINKA Table & Tap, regardless of their menu offerings or drink specials.
Most disgusting service I have ever had in my 21 years of living I came here on Christmas Day and was with my family and mom everything was ok the server took our order and we order drinks he DID NOT ID ANYONE we got the drinks and we were drinking it then we moved seats out of nowhere and then still was drinking then this manager came and said he saw the drink getting passed around and wanted to id me all of sudden which I lost my id so I could provide a picture he says he can not take a picture I have went to many restaurants and had a drink and I have never ever experienced something like this I was with my mother and she spoke and he was telling her to put the drink in front of her so she did and then he left then another manager claiming he saw me drink it and he not serving us this was so unprofessional and saying there is a law to my mom she can not have two drinks infront of her I searched that up and there is no law stating that was trying to make false laws how is this man trying to tell me what age I am when I’m of age and the server never asked for ID, which is a law and he stated he didn’t id my mom cause she looks of age like WHATT so unprofessional!!! And in the state of Florida anyone you give liquor to you are supposed to id them ! There liquor license should be revoked for that I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Rustic décor that fails to hide a lack of cleanliness. My wife stained her clothes as soon as we arrived. She ordered the lobster, and her dish was fine. The rest of us (three more people) left having barely eaten. Everything was excessively spicy, and they didn’t ask about any preferences or offer any customization. I ordered a salad that came with a dressing that was far too spicy. Thinking maybe I just didn’t “get” their style, I then tried the ham croquettes. They didn’t taste good and didn’t seem fresh. The meat was cold, yet the plate was steaming—never a good sign. Honestly, we left very disappointed. We paid $188 and, even though I returned my dish almost untouched, no one even asked about our experience. We won’t be coming back.
