Flama Brazilian Steakhouse Miami Reviews
⸻ I recently had the chance to dine at Flama Brazilian Steakhouse, and the experience was truly excellent. The restaurant offers more than 12 different cuts of meat, including Argentine-style morcilla (blood sausage), which is one of my boyfriend’s favorites. It was such a pleasant surprise to find it here, and they prepared it for us perfectly — a small detail that we really appreciated. The quality of the food overall was outstanding. Every cut we tried was flavorful and well-prepared, and I would rate the food itself a solid 100 out of 100. The price was also very reasonable. For two people, including the 18% service charge, our total came to $120, which we felt was excellent value considering the quality and variety we enjoyed. The restaurant itself doesn’t have a great view from the front, but it does have a back patio that overlooks a small lagoon, which adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. The appetizers were also excellent, which made the experience even better. The staff was very friendly, though not always as attentive as they could have been. Currently, they use the traditional orange-and-red paper cards: red meaning you’re done, and orange meaning you’d like more meat. While this works, I personally think they could improve the system by adopting the light indicators that many other steakhouses in the city use — when the light is on, servers keep bringing cuts of meat, and when it’s off, they stop. This would make things easier for both guests and staff, since servers could see the signal from across the room instead of checking every table individually. Another plus: the restaurant offers free parking, which is always a nice convenience in the area. And if you happen to visit, I recommend taking some time afterward to drive around Homestead — there are many farms and fields nearby, and it makes for a beautiful and relaxing experience. Overall, I highly recommend Flama Brazilian Steakhouse. Between the excellent food, fair prices, and warm service, it’s a place I would gladly return to many times.
Great experience and must visit if you’re in Homestead. Possibly worth the trip from Miami! Food was delicious. Wide variety of things I’ve never had. Best experience I’ve ever had at an “All you can eat Buffet!” Salad bar was exquisite. Cheesy bread rolls were divine! Plenty of meat options. I wish I had 2 stomachs so that I could keep eating! So many positive things to say that my only complaint was not being able to take it home with us!
The restaurant is clean, and the salads and meat are good. The service is fabulous. They cheer me on for my birthday. I really had a good time. Highly recommended.
So much meat variety. Salad bar is fresh and well organized. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Went for first time today. Meat was excellent, seasoned well and cooked to the liking we said we preferred. Will definitely be coming back
Excellent place for dinner! This is our third visit and always leave happy and very full. The gauchos are always very attentive asking what type and temperature meat we’d like to have next. The salad and sides bar is always stocked and delicious. Our server was amazing as always and very happy with the service!
This was an amazing place to have a big meal and great service. Very friendly and professional staff. Food was FANTASTIC! And it just kept coming!!! Thank you Flama for a great dinner experience
We love coming here for the great food and amazing staff! They are all professional attentive friendly people! The interior decor is fantastic! Highly recommend clean tasty salads great quality food! George is superb great hospitality super nice!
I checked the reviews before going for lunch and the reviews are true. The service is great. The staff is attentive and friendly. The place is very clean and attractive. There’s plenty of food for the price. We paid $27/person but the drinks are great but expensive. The food was tasty with lots of healthy options.
An excellent dining establishment. I've heard of Brazillian steakhouses, and one of the people I work with has tried convincing me to go to one. My family and I ate here and were satisfied. In the words of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, "A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one." The restaurant was extremely clean, and the atmosphere was pretty nice. Nothing over the top, just simple and neat. The meat was delicious, and we were given generous portions each time. I'm not a big sweet-eater, but I feel like I could have eaten a boat load of that grilled pineapple. The salad bar was great as well. The manager and servers were stellar.
Our first time we made a reservation for 9 people. The staff had our table ready on time. We sat down and every single delicious plate of meat came straight to our table. The place and our utencils were clean. Nice cozy spot for small or large groups. The servers kept checking and refilling our drinks. And were very attentive to our needs. They had a large selection of meats to choose from. My favorite was the sirloin and the lamb chops. The desserts were to die for. The chocolate mousse served with premium vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup was to die for. We will be back again in the future.
A little too much ice on the drinks but other than that it was outrageous!! Mavel was excellent and very attentive to all our needs
I had a great time. The food was delicious. No stop meats were offered (entraña, filet mignon, chicken, chorizo, pichaña, etc). Don't forget to ask for the pineapple and the fried bananas. They were delicious. The salad bar has a great variety. The sangria was good, as well as the Brazilian beer. My waiter was always on top of everything. I'm looking forward to coming back.
Love this place the food ,salad bar , drinks, the meat cuts and dessert 🍮 I have to give credit were credit is due. Number 1 entering the restaurant of course we did reservations . was very polite and fast to take care of us . Service the guys serving the meats were great and everyone of them were great serving the meat cuts . Very polite. And finally Margarita took care of us from beginning to end was my first time at this location I’m used to Texas the Brazil stile of restaurant this place is right there or above it in price, quality, service at every level. Thanks again for the great service and to Margarita to go above and beyond. This type of service is what really everyone is looking for wend we go to this type of restaurants . What can I ask better it’s 10 min from my home .
Omg! What a gem here un homestead! This is a beautiful restaurant . First time here and Will be back very soon. Delicious food! Great service. Just Amazing! The staff is very attentive. And the salad bar is to die for. Many optios to enjoy, all of them very well prepared. Overall great experience. Will be back for sure and Will recomend it to everyone. !
Went to Flama on a surprise date with my fiancé and our experience was excellent! Beyond amazing service, a very extensive wine list(including wine from home!), and a mouthwatering meal all encompassed in a beautifully set up restaurant that, while on the nicer side, still felt welcoming to all. George(Jorge?) was absolutely outstanding and made the entire experience that much better! We can’t wait to come back again!
What an incredible restaurant. The buffet was superb and the neverending meat on tap was excellent. Well worth the $29.99 charge per person.
The staff is amazing. The quality of the food is outstanding. Best Brazilian steakhouse in Miami. The ask what you prefer and keep bringing it to you. Lamb chops, picanha, filet minon, churasco, sausage, grilled pineapple ribs, chicken, and a great salad bar.
We had a great experience at La Flama. The food, the ambiance, and the service was really top tier! Jorge was our amazing server and he made sure every need and detail was met with friendliness and top service! The pricing here is affordable and we made a reservation on a Sunday evening that wasn’t too busy. We came for a celebration and left with a new favorite spot to celebrate and have a delicious dinner. I definitely recommend La Flama!! Thank you!!
If you're in the mood for a vibrant and authentic Brazilian dining experience, La Flama is the place to be! From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a fantastic meal. Service: The service is impeccable—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and well taken care of, always ready to offer recommendations or explain menu items with a smile. Whether it’s your first visit or your tenth, you can expect top-notch, personalized service that enhances the entire experience. Food: The food is nothing short of extraordinary. La Flama’s rodizio (all-you-can-eat skewered meats) is a carnivore’s dream—each cut is perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and served straight from the grill to your plate. The variety is incredible, from succulent picanha to tender chicken and sausage, all cooked to perfection. The sides, like the creamy rice, beans, and golden-brown farofa, complement the meats beautifully. Don’t miss the pão de queijo (cheese bread) and the refreshing Brazilian cocktails like a caipirinha—absolutely divine! Atmosphere: La Flama nails the Brazilian vibe with its lively and colorful decor. The open grill and meat carving stations create an exciting, interactive dining experience, and the upbeat music adds to the festive mood. The ambiance is warm and vibrant, making it the perfect spot for everything from a casual dinner to a celebratory meal with friends and family. Overall: La Flama is a standout in every way. The service, food, and atmosphere come together for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re a seasoned fan of Brazilian cuisine or a first-timer, you’ll leave feeling satisfied and excited to return. Highly recommend!
I loved the food. It was delicious. The decor is beautiful. I really enjoyed the all you can eat meats and food bar. The desserts were delicious, we ordered several for the group. I highly recommend the restaurant and I will be returning. If you're looking to eat exquisite Brazilian food you must visit Flama.
What a great restaurant! My girlfriend and I just came back from having dinner there and everything was excellent! As soon as we sat down, the guys came from the back and bombarded us with meats! Picanha, churrasco, chicken wings, chorizo, beef ribs, lamb chop and a plethora of other meats! It was very affordable and everyone was super friendly! I'll be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and will be returning soon!
Was working in Homestead. Was starving for Protein. There are 2 lunches. One for $27 and another for $37( lamb Chops, filet mignion). Got the $27. Great salad bar, I ate non-stop Picanha, but I really enjoyed the tri-tip and Churrasco. Also the Rodizio Pineapple was insane. There is no where in Miami you can get unlimited of great tasting costs of meats, vegetables and sald bar like this. And had to glasses if goid merlot for $10 each. Definitely coming back. I recommend to come for lunch first from 12-3pm weekdays. Location is clean.
Flama Brazilian is one of the best stake house I been to in south Miami, offering really good service and food. The place inside makes you feel like you’re at home and you can feel the atmosphere of the Brazilian flavor. I really recommend coming here.
We loved this place. The food was mouth watering-ly delicious 🤤. Sometimes these kind of places are a little iffy on the meat flavors as they are speed-cooking, but the meats here were juicy and flavorful. The service was impeccable (which is rare for ANYwhere on a busy Saturday night). We arrived for our reservation and were seated right away!! Our server was highly attentive and friendly, as were all the steak-cutter dudes. I had a sangria which was huge and very tasty. We even had a waterfront view (there's a little lake in the back 😆). And the price was more reasonable than some of its competitors.
Today is my Anniversary & I wanted a Buffet Style dinner & I was not disappointed. I didn't know what to expect. Very Classy, Clean, Upscale & definitely worth every penny. This will definitely be our date night spot! Great Job, love the ambience! The food is well seasoned & the meats are so tender.
Jose was always making sure of every table was taking care of , not only the amazing food they served but attending of every single table while giving the amazing service even more people were arriving to the restaurant, excellent, friendly, smiling from all the employees make me feel like home, I very amazed of everyone, as well of each meat they brought us is above it delicious, best steakhouse in Miami, must try it you’ll never pick another place after the first visit!!!!
We stumbled upon this gem while looking for a steak restaurant while on vacation. The food was amazing!!! The salad bar was very well stocked with a wide variety of items. The meats that were brought around to the table were so delicious!!! The wait staff (especially Maria) were so nice to us and took time to explain what each item was! Highly recommend!!!!!
I moved to homestead about 3 years ago, and I asked around where can I have good steak? FLAMA.. The best restaurant in homestead, family owned and great service. I probably go once a week minimum. If you are in homestead don't hesitate to try this place you will love. The food is excellent. You will have a great time with 5 star service.
Overall, it’s a place where the food, atmosphere, and service come together beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a great steak experience. Ana ask for Jessica
We are from Miami but my son was getting married in Homestead so most of the family and members in the wedding party stayed for the wedding in Homestead. There are a variation of a restaurant in Miami but we are unfamiliar with restaurants in Homstead. We picked this restaurant because it accommodated our 30 guest that were invited to the rehearsal dinner. The food was amazing! The variation of options they have is tremendous. I had three guest that were vegetarians and they were very impressed with the variations they offered. The manager Fatima was very helpful and accommodating. The service was exceptional, the margaritas were delicious, the variation of meats distributed was a lot, the shrimp and grilled pineapple was amazing. Thank you to Fatima and our waiter for making the rehearsal dinner a success! The party guest were very impress and thank you for making this a joyous memory!
Food was amazing, everyone from the host to all the servers were so attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend
This is by far the best Brazilian Steakhouse that I have been in a while. We drove for an hour and a half and it was worth the drive. From where to begin, is it the top notch outstanding tending service. Our host was Nick Rizzu who was fabulous, friendly, polite and prompt. Thanks for making our experience unforgettable. Or the meat waiters who kept on bringing different types of meat on skewers tailored to our individual preference... I mean we really had our red cards facing up on occasions and those guys just kept on coming and checking with us if we needed to try different meats. Thanks Rodolfo for your friendlessness and suggestions on the best piece and type of cut to try. You are the Master. My personal favorites were the filet mignon, picaña, Lamb chops and all the rest really. All were just grilled to perfection... Oh, I almost forgot the grilled pineapple, it is a must to try. The combination of the cinnamon, with the sweetness and sourness of the pineapple Plus the charcoal BBQ grilling flavor just all becomes a symphony of flavors in your mouth. The salad bar is really rich with lots of options that won't disappoint. Finally, to seal the flavors in, you need to try their dessert selection. They came on a try cart that once you look at, you would want to try each one of them. The strawberry tres leches and the volcano lava were a hit.
We had a great family dinner at Flama Brazilian Steakhouse. The food was delicious, the meats perfectly cooked, and the service friendly and attentive. A wonderful place for a relaxed family meal — highly recommended! We enjoy a lot of.👌👌👌
OMG, this was literally one of the top meals I've ever had. I've been to maybe half a dozen Brazilian steakhouse, but this was far and away the best. When we first sat down, we said, "we could be happy with the salad bar alone!" But then the meats arrived, and oh my! Everything was delicious--everything. And they had some items I'd not had before at a BSH, like lamb and blood sausage, both of which were fabulous. The lamb was my ten-year-old daughter's favorite; I loved the flank steak; my son loved the filet. It was all perfectly cooked and seasoned. And the pineapple!!! Ok, I'm gushing, but it really was fabulous. And our server, Maria, was a delight. If you are in the South Miami/Homestead area, go to here. You won't be sorry.
Fantastic all around. My parents generally don't like to try new things, but I dragged them out here for my dad's birthday and they were very happy with everything. They especially loved the shrimp.
This place is unfortunately a hidden Gem !!! Just a tad pricey for the Homestead crowd, but exquisite in taste and presentation. As much meat as you like, shrimp, chicken too, drinks extra, dessert extra, but OMG, fill up on the meats and go home to drink !!! Absolutely a great place to eat, patterned after Porcao Miami, much better than Texas de Brazil too. Very calming atmosphere- until there is a birthday 🎂!!!
Juancarlos our server was amazing along with all the rest of the group. Pleasant, patient and most importantly friendly. The food was outstanding as well. We will definitely be back.
Everything was great, from the service to the food. The place has a very nice atmosphere. It has a good vibe.
The food and service are excellent . We are rodizio fans, and when Flama opened in South Dade, we tried it. We are frequent dinners. Their cuts off meat are high quality. The staff and owners are so welcoming and know you by name. We highly recommend Flama. The food, drinks, and desserts are incredible. They have a full bar. Our favorites are their caipirihna and their sangria . If you are a wine lover, they have a large wine list.
This place is one 🔥 with the food - so tasty. And then the "salad" bar with cheeses. Even the dessert 😋 Make reservations - maybe 50 seats, and packed. No wait with reservation. IKYYK
You will notice that this place is cleaner and friendlier than most. The food is excellent and service exemplary, but the main reason we come back is the friendly atmosphere. We aren't familiar with any of the people who work here but judging by the attention we receive we believe the owners are close by. If you are concerned at all about cleanliness you'll find no issues here. We assume that the kitchen is just as clean as the bathrooms in the dining area.
I came here for thanksgiving because this place is one of the few places in Miami that open for thanksgiving dinner! It’s an amazing all you can eat restaurant, great vibe and amazing meats. The pineapple though is to die for too 😭😭 make sure to reserve though because it gets full.
The service was excellent. There was about a 10 meat selection (such as Picanha, Maminha, Costela, etc) with grilled pineapple as well. I prefer my meat a little bit more salty than what it was but it was actually pretty juicy inside. No burnt meats either! We also got a small bowl with Pão de Queijo and a small bowl of fried sweet plantains (both were really good). The buffet had a nice selection of cold salads as well rice and beans. I do not recommend the chicken strogonoff - it was seasonless and the strogonoff sauce was very liquid. There are plenty of drink options - from wine to juices to Guaraná. For the desserts we had a dessert sampler (has Passion Fruit Mousse, Tiramisu, and Arroz con Leche) and one brownie with ice cream. Everything but the Arroz con Leche was excellent. The ambience of the place is very warm and welcoming with Brazilian music, the Rodizio servers had some of the typical Gaucho clothing, and the art around is farm-like depicting Rio Grande do Sul. Lunch is from 12-3pm and is around 26.99-29.99 per person. After 3pm you’ll have the Dinner pricing which I believe is around 36.99-39.99. In all, I would come back especially for the great service we received.
I was in town for work and came here with a coworker. I have to say this place is probably the best Brazilian steakhouse I've been to. The food was wonderful and the service was top-notch. The smaller environment allows the staff to be able to focus more on the customer, and that to me is the best part. I stayed a few extra days in Homestead when my wife flew into Miami and I had to take her here so she could experience it as well. Needless to say she was blown away.
Excelente service. Delicious food. In general Very nice restaurant with great food. I will come back and eat with the family .
This was my first time in a Rodizio style restaurant & it was a very pleasant one. We felt welcome from the moment of our arrival. The place is modern looking and parking is ample. Outside the entrance there is a very nice covered seating area for waiting. We were sat inmediately and service was prompt. The restaurant looked very clean, modern, & organized. Our waiter Alex was very informative of how the Rodizio process worked & his instructions were very clear & easy to understand. Inmediately after he departed our table, different staff began rounding the tables with the different cuts of meats. They also offered lamb, chicken, pork, sausages, & shrimp. The staff was very attentive. Water glasses were never empty. Meat offerings kept coming nonstop until we switched our cards to the stop side. Salad Bar was also abundant with plenty of variety. Yazmin rice, black beans, mashed potatoes, and beef stew was also available. They have a great assortment of desserts which are not included in the Rodizio price but we still tried a few. My favorites were the Creme Brulee and the Tres Leches. I went with my family to privately celebrate my wife's birthday but we did not make it known. It was just my wife, my mother, my daughter and I. Upon receiving our desserts, jokingly we sang Happy Birthday to my wife very quietly not to draw attention to our table & then began enjoying them. Little did we know someone was paying attention and shortly after the staff came surprised my wife with a dessert with a candle on it & sang to her. We later found out that the Manager Fatima was the one who noticed & made it happen. That was the golden touch to our experience. I will definatelly recommend this restaurant to friends & family. We had an awesome time & will be returning to this location often.
Flama is hands-down one of the best Brazilian steakhouses I’ve ever visited in South Miami-Dade. The cuts of meat were perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned to perfection — every skewer that came by was better than the last. Our waitress Lorena was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. David, one of our meat server, was amazing — especially with my kids — patiently explaining each cut and making sure they got exactly what they wanted every time. The rest of the staff was great as well, but these two outstanding employees truly went above and beyond! An outstanding dining experience from start to finish!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! As soon as you walk in the staff is welcoming and kind, to the waiter with amazing service, very attentive and sweet, and the gentlemen walking around are always offering there was never a moment I had to wait for the meat. Everyone we have encountered has great customer service and are super sweet! I normally come with my family and we have ALWAYS had a great experience. The food is amazing and they have so much variety and with great service, this is my favorite restaurant!
We had a delicious NYE dinner at Flama last night. Our server was super attentive and the guys with the meats came by frequently. Couldn’t ask for a better dining experience! It’s always a treat eating at Flama! Thank you!
Meat was deliciously flavored! Filet mignon and chicken was on point with seasoning. Several choices of meats offered. Salad bar was fantastic with options. Some options for picky eater kids. Appetizers they put on the table were phenomenal, some type of cheese breadroll and fried sugared plantains! Drool worthy! Price for adults is average for a Brazillian Steakhouse about $45/adult. Kids 3-6 $12.99 Big kids 7-12 $19.99 A little expensive if you have toddlers that are picky eaters.
Absolutely outstanding! The food was bursting with flavor and the service was top-notch. Mabell, our server, was fantastic—warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. And Fatima, the owner’s sister, is truly a gem who adds so much heart to the experience. Flamas isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience filled with great atmosphere, incredible food, and even better people. Homestead is lucky to have such a treasure—don’t miss it!
Always a great experience. The food is delicious and well prepared. They are always very accommodating for events.
The place looks pretty new . We found out abt this place yesterday and decided to visit today . Price is fair . There is plenty of food choices and they are great . Awsome cheeses too . Service is a plus . People are very friendly and makes all the difference . The dessert would recommend the tres leches . It’s amazing , delicious ! Super recommend the visit . Perfect for family , friends and special commemorative dates .
The service is espectacular, they treat customers like royalty. Been there 3 times and it’s always a great experience. Best meats and sides. Mabel is the best waitress super friendly and super educated. And I almost forgot the Desserts are delicious specially the tres leche.
No shortage of food, continuously coming around and asking what specific meats we wanted and staff came back with it. Very attentive staff, food was awesome, meats were cooked perfectly. Loved the grilled pineapple.
What a gem in Homestead! First, I'll apologize for the ugly photos, when the first cuts hit the plate it was time to eat! 😁 This was our 3rd or 4th time at Flama, this time for lunch. It's been a great experience each time. I keep waiting for a decline but, to the credit of management, it hasn't happened. A huge selection of fire grilled goodness including a few that you won't get at FdC or TbB. The picanha is always absolutely on point, flank, giant beef rib, filet, sausages, lamb chops, all great. Two of my favorites are the charred chicken hearts, and charred pineapple, something you don't see at brand F or T. The salad bar is great, exactly what you'd expect, lots of fresh choices. Service has always been on point, both the gauchos and wait staff are prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is great, being a stand alone building it has an intimate feel you just can't get when you're in a mall or other shared commercial space, and it's tastefully decorated. The best part is the price. Less expensive than the other options and pretty much better in every way! We've done lunch and dinner and neither disappoints!
Excellent Brazilian rodizio located in Homestead. The service was spectacular and always prompt. Salad bar was an excellent start with a good variety of salad and other choices. The meat variety was top notch with a wide variety of cuts all with great portions. The picanha was excellent and super flavorful. Side dishes were also delicious with bananas and pao de queijo (cheese bread) were a great pairing. The grilled pineapple was super tasty and definitely a great choice. For dessert they have a variety of choices but the guava cheesecake stood out. Overall an amazing restaurant that I would return to. 👍😋
My husband and I went for Thanksgiving dinner and starting with our server, Maria...she was do attentive and polite. Her service was great and the food was excellent. We love coming here and we'll continue to do so. Thank you for a great evening!
What an improvement! I visited this restaurant when it first opened and I was not impressed. Today I decided to give it another chance and I am happy I did. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. Great customer service! Our waiter Jorge was excellent. He was very welcoming and anticipated our needs.
Flama Brazilian Steakhouse is an excellent restaurant! I went yesterday with my family, and the place is spectacular. Extremely good service with all Flama staff. Our waitress was Mabel, and I think she is doing and excellent job, providing the greatest quality service at Flama. I wish I could give them more than five stars because they deserve more than 100! Thank you very for having Flama in our community, an unique flavor in Homestead, FL. Do not miss it, visit them! Ohhh don’t forget to try their 🍮 flan! 😋 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely wonderful 😍‼️‼️🔥🥩🍚🍨🍹🍸🥃🍷🍽️🥗 I loved it ❤️ the atmosphere was lovely the food was exceptional The service, the waitresses right down to the servers!! everything was top-notch, I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse especially all you can eat 😳 but I decided that me and hubby would try this place(under recommendation)since I'm just here on vacation for a few weeks and we were not disappointed 🤩our server Maria was so wonderful and pleasant shout out to "Maria" I told you I would leave a wonderful review and you just made my experience that much better Thank you so much for being so kind and wonderful and attentive to me and my husband We really enjoyed it, being that it was our first time We definitely will be back again when we're in town I'm going to tell all of my friends "head down to homestead Florida and check out FLAMA!!! 😄😄🔥 IF THEY WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND FULL BELLIES AND MAKE SURE THEY COME AND SEE YOU MARIA 😉😄👍🏾💯💯 Thank you again 💖 from April and Derrick of Redlands CA. ✈️
Dinner was amazing. All you can eat. The cheese bread and sweet bananas were so good. But most of all the grilled pineapple. The service was above par. Waited less than 10 minutes to be seated on a Friday night even though it was super crowded. We already making plans to go back. True Brazilian steakhouse. Loved it
Maria is amazing server, she very sweet at bringing us a “parabéno” dessert! Me and my husband went there to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and she was the best. The food is delicious!!!!!
We had an amazing experience thanks to Lorena! She was an incredible server -attentive, kind, and always smiling. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly, but what truly made the night special was the spectacular service she provided. Lorena made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We’ll definitely be coming back!
We had a wonderful celebratory meal here and it was AIP friendly (Keto as well). Many many options, we were so happy to find this gem! We look for food that we can’t make better or cheaper at home and this is now a top 5 favorite. The Tiramisu is highly recommended (not AIP or Keto) and the coffee is excellent! We will be back.
We came here with a group of friends and very positivly surprised. Excellent service and the buffet and meat was delicious. Wohld defintily consider to pass by.
Excellent service. Clean facility. Lorena, our server, was very attentive. Reasonably priced. Great dessert assortment. Caipiriña was really yummy too.
I am a well-traveled person with significant dining experience. Every time I visit Miami, I go this restaurant to have dinner. They have the best lamb chops have tried in my life, which are made to perfection. The meat selections are superb and the atmosphere is very family oriented. From a cost perspective, this is by far the best option regarding this Brazilian steakhouse experience. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!!!!
I came here for lunch with a friend on a Friday. The food and service is great. I give 4 stars because it’s not the nicest Brazilian steakhouse you can go to. The salad bar is not very big, and doesn’t have a lot of great options compared to other Brazilian steakhouses. But our waitress and all of the men going around offering us meat were all very nice, attentive and friendly. We both ordered the full Rodizio lunch. My friend had a coke and then we both ordered a dessert to go. I feel like this place is a little bit more affordable than some other steakhouses. Flama is not close to my house. I went because my friend lives near the restaurant. If I was in the area again, I’d probably go back. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here.
So I went thinking it would be good. Turns out, it is f-in delicious!!! If you do the $26.99 lunch Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., you get an endless amount of some top quality meat cuts. And the salad bar has enough variety for accompaniments. In essence, it's exactly what you need for that price. I was there for an hour, taking it slow. The service is consistent & attentive.
Great food but didn’t have the opportunity to taste the full menu as there were some items available. They did serve plenty of picaña which we loved. We would return to try the experience again.
I came here with my dad and relatives to celebrate his birthday for dinner. It's a buffet style restaurant where you pay ~$44 per person to eat all he meat and salad you want. There's a self self salad bar and sides. The appetizers are cheese bread and fried bananas, which were scrumptious. The servers walk by the tables, each holding a particular meat or roasted pineapple. You're given a "sticker" that's doubled sided to signal the servers when you want them to pass your table and offer meat. They slice/cut the meat and you grab with a tool. In my case since I'm vegetarian, I was charged ~$30 instead of the $44 to eat endless meat. The alcoholic beverages and desserts aren't included in the buffet. I decided to come here because I was curious about the roasted pineapple. I filled myself up with the roasted pineapple and salad. It was delicious. I shamelessly never rejected the server, Alvaro, who was friendly and charismatic. Good service. The salad was decent as well, having different types of salads. We ordered a few desserts: tres leches, passionfruit mousse, and flan. The passionfruit mousse is worth a taste. For my dad birthday dessert, it was a small piece of cake that had a hint of coconut and moist; not bad, considering I'm not a big fan of cake. They sang happy birthday and provided the free deserrt. It's a pricey restaurant since the desserts aren't included, but worth visiting once. It has the roasted pineapple as a vegetarian option, but I'd give this place a 5 if they had more options, whether fake meat or cooked vegetables as meats for vegetarians. Other than that, a decent place to try for its unique style of serving and experience.
We had dinner here after taking a boat tour of the Biscayne National Park. It was early evening, and all the food was ready. I had the buffet bar, and my husband had the full dinner. The buffet bar had many varieties, protein, veggies, dairy, ect. I liked it very much. Myy husband liked most of the meat he had, only one or two kinds he didn't care much. The service was excellent.
It's not a bad place, but there are better quality places at the same price. With so many Brazilian-Rodizio places, this one is just mid-quality and atmosphere at a high price. Also, the restaurant decorations and atmosphere remind me of a Golden Corral buffet. Definitely not the vibe you want on a date. The appetizer buffet is also mid-quality, and you can tell that management is watching their budget. However, they charge the premium; dinner, sangria, and the tip for 2 was almost $200.
I went there for my birthday lunch. The moment we arrived we asked to be sitted down but the metredi said no. We were a party of 4 and my daughter and boy friend were on route. He could have let us sit down and enjoy some drinks while we waited. You don't say no to a customer. There after the cuts of meat were to dry eventhough we asked for medium well. The waiters socket. You don't reach over a person to serve another person a cut of meat. Overpriced, mediocre buffet Fogo di Chao at Dadeland is 100% better
Flama began operations started on the heels of the COVID aftermath (2021), and I assume are battling the food shortages, staff concerns, and of course, the lack of patronage that COVID brought the food service industry. The restaurant had beautiful decor, was extremely clean, and offered a very pleasant environment for a mid Saturday lunch. It was obvious to see the effort was clearly there to make this business great. However, let's talk about the food. We arrived shortly after opening and we're among a few people already dining. The salad bar was clean, with more salads items than other meats and things which is fine. Their "fresh" mozzarella was less than fresh and pretty dry (this dryiness will be a trend in the food). Everything else at the salad bar was fine for what it was. Their card flips were pretty cool, giving you the option to choose your meat temperature beforehand and the meat servers see it as well. Our selection was medium-rare (lowest they offered btw). First serve was the Calabresa (Brazilian Sausage), mine was a bit dry but my wife said hers was ok. The flavor was decent, but it wasn't worth the repeat play on the next pass. Next was the Fraldinha (Flank Steak). The initial go-around for this was pretty good, it had excellent flavoring, the temp was slightly over medium-rare, but nothing to concerning, and it had a great salt season to the outside; overall it was pretty good. The next several passes of this meat left alot to be desired. From the meat being DRASTICALLY undercooked (symptoms of being cooked over too high a heat and not being temp checked during the cooking process). As a family who enjoys their cows almost with a slightly beating heart, this was really cutting it close. The flavor was lost and it was disappointing. This never got better after 3 more rounds of this meat. Moving to the Picanha (Top Sirloin). Where the Flank was drastically under the needed temperature, this was just a bit overcooked for a medium-rare temp. It really had no meat flavor and was just not that satisfying for what is typically a house special in most Brazilian steakhouses. After 3 rounds it also never improved. There was also a Frango com toucinho (Chicken w/Bacon), dry, limited flavor. Hard pass for me after the first round. However, this offering is typically a difficult meat to get done well at Brazilian steakhouses, I'm not sure why these restaurants chose not to brine poultry (particularly the white meat cuts). There were also a few other meats and pineapple passed around I opted out of, as they really didn't look appealing or I just wasn't interested. Finally, the heart of the matter. The New York Steak and the Filet Mignon (neither of which were listed on their website at the time our our visit). They both came out on the same spit (weird) but the filet (tenderloin in shape) had a VERY strange DARK, and I mean DARK red color to it. Now I have eaten steak from around the world, cooked in a variety of ways from a multitude of different types of beef, but this had to be the strangest I had ever seen. This is also my wife's favorite cut and she immediately questioned this meat. It was again, very rare (no, it was raw) and it's texture was the most bizarre texture I had ever tasted. It was not succulent nor juicy (even for being raw it was like it was bloodless, absolutely weird). The New York was, at best, a select grade cut that was seasoned with Grill Mates Montreal Seasoning (no hate for seasoning, just saying) and was so overcooked, chewy, and dry I felt as if I was chewing the hide rather than the meat of the animal. -Sides: The cheese biscuits were decent, could have had a bit more of the cheese flavor, but glad they were well cooked. The sides of the cinnamon bananas were excellent. -Sauces: Sweet Jesus, please get horseradish. I have never been to a steakhouse that didn't have this as an option, even a Brazilian one, they always have it. Please do the same. Sauces, especially in the south are key to dining success.
We’ve been here many times and we love their food, but their manager ruined our experience. This completely unreasonable, unyielding lady made a whole party of five people leave because my 5 year old daughter felt bad eating little cows and I brought her a home made snack. She said policy prohibits bringing any food into the restaurant.
I have been to this place multiple times but this time was the worst experience ever. We where sat down and trust me when I say they didn’t bring us anything we wanted the same person kept going to our table with the same food and when we asked for something they would skip us. We orders deserts everything was wrong we asked for brownies and all we got was ice cream. And we didn’t even get refills at all worst experience wouldn’t recommend coming here. It’s a rip off we were full once they started coming with food
