This place is in my wife's old neighborhood. She always tells me about coming here. Every time we have a chance to come, we do. It NEVER disappoints. The Carne asada was soft and full of flavor, there was plenty of Maduro and Gallo Pinto, and the queso frito was mouth watering. My wife and I will continue to come here every chance we get!

This is the best place. Sure, it's not the cleanest or the cheapest, but my boyfriend and I eat here almost once a week and the food is so freaking good. We usually spend about $13 with a to go plate of Carne Asada with Gallo Pinto and cheese with maduros. We also get tajada( fried plantain chips) and cacao( some chocolate drink that he absolutely LOVES). Sometimes they are a little cheap with the food, but I have never complained about the taste and that is for sure.

Ive been coming to this fritanga since i was like 8 years old. My mom even knows the owners, they have the nicest ppl working there & they always have the nica staples available. Carne asada, tajadas, queso frito. They have more than enough space for families to come in & eat which is the best part. & the food is better than any other near by fritangas.s

You know, I was genuinely impressed by the Nicaraguan food—talk about authenticity! And let me tell you, the restroom? Spotless! I almost wanted to take a selfie in there. Who knew a bathroom could be so… pristine? Sabes, realmente me impresionó la comida nicaragüense—¡hablamos de autenticidad! Y déjame decirte, el baño… ¡Impecable! Casi quise tomarme un selfie allí. ¿Quién diría que un baño podría ser tan… prístino?

The food is good and the service was ok. Went at night and the tables was messy, the mens bathroom had no soap, and the floor was sticky. Overall not to bad will come back and eat there again.

Food isn't what it use to be , Thier gallop into is very dry and plaint with no flavor, other wise their meats and other sides are decent. Wish their restaurant wasn't so plain either.

Great service, i bought a nakatamal (tamal) and carne asada ( Grilled steak), honestly food was ok but the meat was exceptional in flavor. The fried cheese slice was very thin and the mixed rice and bean were unflavored. Maybe it was just that day. 🤔

Although cheaper than other competing restaurants, you get what you pay for. There's always some funny business each and every time I go. Wether it's only giving three little pieces of Carne or "forgetting to put coleslaw" to charging an extra few dollars thinking you aren't keeping track of total. You have to constantly be on top of the service and it's dissapointing rather pay 10 and go to the Carne asada

The store smells clean, The staff are nice, but the Gallo pinto is not made like its supposed to be, They give you a small piece of fried cheese. I ordered a Cacao, and I swear it was the worst I ever had. I used to really like this place. I have been coming since a child, and this is very disappointing. If you want real good Nica Food, go to Cana brava. The lines are long but worth it.

Lugar q esta siendo desatendido ..servicio y ambiente esta igual..el problema es la comida. La carne frita fria seca y totalmente grasa...el arrz insipido sin sabor...consejo a los q trabajan ahi...si noejoran van a perder clientes

El lugar es bonito y no hablar de la comida es buena ,pero las mujeres que trabajan en el lugar me parecen un poco enojadas y muy serias al atender ,deberían de mejorar la atención al cliente.

Ordered two to go plates and both meal plate with meat was so burn you couldn’t even chew it because all you taste is the hardness , the fat of the meat and just burnt meat … never again I rather drive a little further to get better meat and pay more then to come to this place for burnt meat . I’ve come already twice and it’s the same quality I thought maybe the first time they had a bad cook in the kitchen and burnt all the meat but this time again something is wrong . The service is better then the quality

I’ve been coming here for a while but it will be my last time. Everytime I go back they serve less food and the price keeps going up even if I went the previous day and ordered the same exact thing. The food isn’t made with love. No flavor, the rice be drained in oil and the carne asada be overly cooked. This place just gets worse and worse everytime. I’m never going back.

Silvia is extremely rude and nasty I asked for some fried cheese and gave me an attitude and said that she has been working for 30 years and not to tell her how to do her job. Silvia is extremely disrespectful and gave me a bad experience never going again.
