The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere as soon as you walk in. This place is known for having some of the best drinks around—whether you’re into craft cocktails, refreshing mocktails, or a great selection of beers and wines, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The food is fantastic, with a diverse menu that offers everything from hearty appetizers to satisfying entrees. Even though we were part of a large group, the service was impressively fast and organized, and our meals came out hot and exactly as ordered. The outdoor seating area is spacious and inviting, though it can get quite warm and humid, especially for families with kids—and when it rains, it can be a bit tricky to manage. So it’s a good idea to be prepared for sudden weather changes. (Which does not have anything with all the stars for this place 😁 it’s just Miami!!) Overall, this place combines great service, delicious food and drinks, and a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for gatherings or just relaxing with friends

Stopped here for a quick drink with my wife on a recent vacation while we were waiting for our hotel room to be available. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and the bartender was beyond friendly. He gave us some good tips for exploring the area as well as South Beach, which was the next stop on our trip. He also recommended a delicious grapefruit beer that we both loved. It was overall a great start to our vacation.

The service is great, the beer selection is excellent, and the food does not disappoint -- though for me, the menu highlights are the salad sampler, the soft pretzel, and the schnitzel. A great place to watch soccer! The outdoor seating, with benches wrapping the patio, is a great place for a few pints.

Arguably one of the best German Restaurants in the Miami area. A good range of food classics like Curry Wurtz or Scnitzel and a selection of fine northern European beers.

Great place to hang out and talk. Great beer. I recommend the pretzel.

Excellent German delights in a wonderful neighborhood of Miami. I had the pretzel and some bratwurst. Kraut is done quite well here. Great bevvie selection. Screens all around for watching the games. Would definitely go back. Easily accessibly via trolley.

The place is great and is within walking distance of where we stayed. The place has multiple TVs and a projector screen which makes it great to watch any sport you like. To add to the setup, the food especially the sausage, was like comfort food and had everyone’s mouth watering. However, what really brought us back to this place was the service, our waitress Jana, was very helpful explaining the drink and food menu to my family, who only speaks Spanish. I recommend this place to anyone who is visiting. I would personally make this my regular place if I lived here!

M

Amazing food and authentic German experience. Is the best since Germany itself! Wow! And Erika the bartender provided world-class service. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

My favorite place in all of the 305 for schnitzel and beer. Amazingly prepared Bavarian food and beer hall favorites. Great team working front of house and back of house to quickly bring you the food and beverages you are craving. Absolutely love this place.

Hands down, this is my favorite restaurant. 💗 I love it!! Best German restaurant outside of Germany! 😍 Plus, the staff is really great. 😊 The owner, Herr Harald Neuweg, always checks on everyone making sure that everything is Great and that they are enjoying their meal. This is a family run restaurant and I have to say, they are so dedicated in bringing the best experience to Miami. 💗 I have been coming here since it first opened and it never disappoints. 🍺 If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy some live music and beer, Fritz & Franz Bierhaus is definitely worth checking out. We came to see the band "Bird Check" and had a great time. The service was also amazing and made for a great experience overall. 👍 Pros: The live music is great and adds to the experience. The selection of beer is good and offers plenty of options to choose from. The service is amazing and adds to the overall experience. 👎 Cons: None! The experience was great. 👉 In summary, if you're looking for a great spot to enjoy some live music and beer, Fritz & Franz Bierhaus is definitely worth checking out. We had a great time seeing "Bird Check" and the service was amazing. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite German Restaurant here in Miami. The atmosphere is very European. The Snitz is amazing. As is the nice cold beer. It's a little pricy but, well worth the experience. Christina T made sure my dining experience was incredible, the entire staff is great.

Very chill and laid back vibe. Nice lounge area. They did change the menu from the one online. I just had ceviche as an appetizer with the beers and it was great, very fresh. They had a lot of beer options and we got to sample a few before making final choices.

Fritz & Franz Bierhaus is one of the best places to watch big soccer games. The atmosphere is electric, often feeling as vibrant as being in a stadium. Fans passionately root for their teams, singing, and sometimes even dancing on tables, especially when Argentina or Messi is playing. The beer selection is excellent, offering a variety of traditional German brews that are both refreshing and authentic. While I mostly enjoyed the beer, the food looked great and consisted of traditional German dishes that seemed to be very popular among other patrons. Service was impressive, considering the large crowds. The staff managed the busy environment well, using mobile payments to speed up transactions, which was a nice touch. At times, it took a bit for the waitress to come, but this was understandable given the number of tables. The atmosphere during the soccer games is fantastic, with numerous TVs both inside and outside, including a very large screen. This setup is clearly geared towards providing the best viewing experience for soccer fans. Seating arrangements can be a bit challenging. Inside gets very full quickly, pushing many people to sit outside. However, the outdoor seating area can be very sunny. I would recommend bringing sun protection or sitting under the palm trees for some relief. It would be great if there were more shaded areas, perhaps with something strung together on the trees to create more shade.

R
Rudi Netzer

Reading the reviews here makes you realize how hard it is to please everyone. The Bierhaus has been an institution for all soccer fans in the area for many years, and handling the crowds of people swarming this place for events like the CL final last Saturday must be difficult! However, it always makes for a real good time! Keep up the great work, Harald + Bierhaus team!

What an amazing restaurant! I went here a couple weeks ago with a few of my friends, and I was absolutely pleased by my experience! We were seated immediately as we did come right before the dinner rush. Our waitress was kind and properly attentive, refilling our beverages and checking on us periodically with good timing. Don't fret about the German names for the food items haha, you'll be fine and the waitresses will know what you mean. For the meal I ordered as an appetizer the soft pretzel, which is something everyone should order! First of all, it is truly huge, and second of all, it taste delicious! Warm and soft, it pairs well with the side condiments of mustard and the paprika cheese spread (which is just wow amazing). For my meal I order the jägerschnitzel mit spätzle, where I got my schnitzel as veal rather than pork. The spätzle was good, and the veal schnitzel with that bacon mushroom sauce was fantastic. They don't skimp on the sauce as my schnitzel was absolutely smothered in it, and I'd want it no other way! For dessert I got the apfelstrudel, which is of course apple strudel, and it was a truly great way to end the meal. It was warm, with a nice large dollop of whipped cream on the side and 2 neatly presented pools of fruit sauces to eat with it. Now, it may be a bit pricey here, I won't lie about that, but the food is still great, and the look and atmosphere of the entire restaurant is beautiful. Huge screens around the restaurant playing soccer and other sports news muted, with nice radio music in the background, and the walls are adorned with cool items! One wall is filled celeing to floor with different glass beer bottles, and another wall has some soccer memorabilia. The bar in the left part of the restaurant looked clean and nice, and the mildly open kitchen to the right is intriguing to look into as you eat. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and staff were all just perfect! I will always recommend this establishment to everyone I know, and I of course will be coming back!

Great place. We went to a private party here. The staff & owner were excellent. The food was delicious. We ordered a plate of everything. It was perfect. They also have a pretzel bread ring they serve with a really good garlic spread before dinner. The potato salad reminded me of the one my grandmother use to make. They had a band that played some really good classics. Really had a great time. Would visit again.

Wife and I just happened to stumble upon this place randomly one afternoon. Great German beer selection. I had the sausage sampler which came with sauerkraut that I thought I would hate. It was a sweeter type of sauerkraut that I absolutely loved! Definitely could get loud during a big sporting event I bet but was great in the afternoon. Will go again when in the area.

The Air Force had me live in Germany for five years, so my expert opinion is that the food was very good and a reasonably authentic experience. Weiswurst, saurkraut, and kartofelsalat were really good.

J

Really good place to spend the day watching some sports on the weekend. We could see Dolphins against Bills, really tight game almost made the comeback; and the Spanish Supercup between Real Madrid and Barcelona. The environment was perfect, we had a really good spot side the owner’s table with a great view. The food was perfect, a whole new experience for some of us, we try different beers, the sausages sample, and burgers. The service look like a little bit crazy, but they had it under control.. it was good helping each other in a full house day.

K

A very well located place, spacious premises, with tables inside and outside. Friendly and family atmosphere, it is easy to end up talking with other visitors. The guys who attend are excellent hosts, always willing to help you. The food in very rich. Extensive menu of German beers. The place does not have its own parking, but it is not a major problem in the surroundings you can get parking without problems. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅✅✅✅😁

Last time I came here was for a classical, but since then I’ve been coming to watch all the Real Madrid games. I love the atmosphere. It’s a one of a kind place and I’m so excited for the World Cup. The server Franky was pretty helpful and he knows a lot of our soccer that makes it such a better experience.

Fritz and Franz Bierhaus is hands down one of the best spots around! The atmosphere is super authentic - exactly what you’d expect from a real German Bierhaus. The German beers are amazing, the vibe is always fun, and it’s the perfect place to watch sports, especially soccer. My bartender, Stephane was incredible. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for great drinks, great energy, and a great time! 🍺🇩🇪

There is nothing more that I love than having a nice cold German beer on a beautiful Miami afternoon. But what really takes the Cake is the handsome wellspoken gentleman behind the bar named Stefan. His European ambiance really makes you feel like you're over there. The atmosphere is amazing and he make sure my beer is always topped off.

Fritz and Franz is an absolute must-visit in the heart of Coral Gables. Whether you’re catching up with old friends, watching a game, enjoying live music, or simply having a night out on the town, this is the spot. The staff and service are consistently flawless—warm, welcoming, and always quick to make sure you’re taken care of. For many Miami locals, this place is more than a bar; it’s a historic staple with authentic German food, beer, and culture woven into every corner. James, Stephane, Francisco, Christina, and the entire team go above and beyond to make every visit memorable. If you’re in Coral Gables, Fritz and Franz is a must-experience establishment. And if you’re a soccer or UM fan? There’s truly no better place to be

M
Maria Zaldivar

I've been coming here regularly for years with work colleagues for lunch and happy hour, and this hidden gem never disappoints. Their menu consists of delicious German dishes, and their beer service can't be beat. The servers are experienced and accommodating, with indoor and outdoor seating. It's perfect for large groups and also convenient for a party of one or a small group. The parking garage right next door, if curbside parking in the Gables is difficult, makes this place very accessible.

m

Great beer and atmosphere. No better place to watch a soccer game. James and the whole staff are fantastic and care about their customers and restaurant. We’re lucky to still have a true local spot like the Bierhaus. Ask for a Fritz spritz cocktail, their best drink on the menu.

G
Gloria Clemares

My son first showed me this place and I immediately fell in love the atmosphere and excitement to watch. Any game is extraordinary. But the real star of the show is Valentina. She is sweet and kind and always makes sure to take a little extra special care of me even when I'm with the boys. I always make sure to sit in her section and I can't wait for every visit

L
Laure Elise Guis

Came to watch a soccer game with friends, the place had a great vibe and our bartender Stephane was very friendly, attentive and really knew how to make us feel welcomed. The whole place overall had such great energy, and it’s the perfect spot to kick back and watch soccer. Stumbled upon this restaurant/beer hall. Nice selection of German beers, and several German food favorites on the menu. I tried the curry wurst, which was good but not great; but I’d come back here and try other things from the menu.

This is a sports bar specialising as a Bavarian Tavern and offering German beer and food. The beer was good. However, the Chicken Schnitzel had a very thin slice of chicken in which was disappointing. The atmosphere was dominated by TV sport. There are plenty of screens to watch.

p
patricia schneider

Nice place to enjoy some Austrian/ German food. Think Schnitzel and Sacher cake. Large selection of European beers on the menu. Gigantic TV screen . Popular during soccer games. Friendly server. Prices are a little high for the small portions . Restaurant got their lease extended by the city for 5 more yrs

Great for World cup games. You won't find a better crowd anywhere in Miami. We reserved a table for 10 which cost us $300. It included 6 beers, 6 shots and a Bavarian pretzel. It was front and center to the outside TV. Well worth it honestly.

R

Very large sports bar. Good for large groups. Not a date night kind of place.

Nice ,spacious and quite traditional German decorated place with lots of German beer and food. The service is outstanding and the food ok. Great place to watch soccer. Not cheap.

T
Tim Dames

I went there today for the St. Patrick’s festival. We had to wait about 15 min for service but the drinks and food came out very quick. The beers are about $6 and food cost about $13 -$24. We had the Weiner schnitzel and the portion was large and tasted just like in Germany, and the apple strudel was all so delicious. We will be back soon to have some more German food! 👌

C
Coach Pat

The wings and fries were delicious! Nice place with lots of TVs to watch a lot of sports. The outside eating are is great for social distancing (big tv screen outside). I like the menu on your phone (scan with your phone camera). Good service and after you eat, you can go for a nice walk around Miracle Mile.

A
Alejandro Barreda

Great way to close the weekend with some Weisswurst, Bierhaus burger, Stirgl rader (with grapefruit) and the chocolate cake. Not only the food was good (in particular the cake) but also the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere felt like a German sports bar. Will come back!

G
Gerald Taylor

This must be the poorest range of deutsche Bier ever encountered, bog standard would be a flattering description...supermarket quality more accurate. A bottle of Gaffel Kölsch stopped me walking out. The waitress was wonderful, accepted the criticism of the menu was not down to her. Austrian owned, I was told, they can do better. Maybe Augustiner, Andechs, Pyraser, Schlenkerla, Spezial, Reissdorf, Früh, would enhance the range.

A
Andreas Wiening

My wife has a medical issue and a heat problem and they did not let her inside during the Germany vs Spain game. Again, we didn't both need to be inside but she does have a medical problem. But whoever was at the door said no-go.

T

Came on a busy soccer day and that no doubt affected service which was 3/5. There is a good selection of Bavarian style food, I say Bavarian style as whilst the dishes are named and bare resemblance to Bavarian classics, the flavours are just not there. The Apple strudel was very good!

Server gained them the second star. Server was friendly and attentive. But the food was terrible. I ate it cuz I'm fat and hungry. Plus we know not to send stuff back in places like this. Yesterday's awkward smelling spatzel was barely brought back to life on the fryer. Luckily it was completely bland so it could absorb a small fraction of the 15G worth of salt from the bacon mushroom gravy pool. In that pool I found my chewy microwaved "veal" jerky. Some slime barely clinging to it's surface is what I can only assume was the breading. Mind you one pays an extra $5 for veal. It's apparently my punishment for eating such a terribly sourced meat. If you are visiting and thinking that this place sounds like some authentic German eats you'll be let down. It's apparent the kitchen doesn't care and wants to speed through the prep in order to socialize. If you made it this far then consider this. I did only try one dish. The place seems more suited to be a greasy spoon bar.

If you are planning on coming here to watch the world cup... please stay away... 15 minutes waiting for a server and 45 minutes more for the food. Every waiter you ask for help says they are busy... as they keep walking without even listening... Nice screen on the outer side, but not worth the inconvenience

I’m very disappointed and disgusted. By the way I was treated by the owner of the establishment. Single-handedly hit me out of a group came up to me and tell me I don’t belong here. He was very intoxicated not annoying that my wife was in the restroom while we just finished drinking our beers. Don’t him come up to me. He basically told me to leave because I was standing outside watching a soccer game by the benches which it’s Public property you are the owner of the restaurant I expected higher class from “Harald Neuweg” that’s his name and I was standing on Public property when he came up to me Drunk you are the owner of the restaurant. I expect it higher class from him he made me feel very uncomfortable and weird. In my opinion, the way he single out of 60 people outside and the way he talk to me clearly show signs of him being a racist. I would never go back to this establishment which me and my wife will go after work once a week I was sickening by the way I was treated never again! And by the way, I’m gonna upload a picture him drinking on the job Which is not professional at all and that way why he was so intoxicated and treated me the way he did.. If you don’t wanna be treated with disrespect, I suggest you stay away from this place

Am very dissatisfied this establishment, while I went to the restroom and my husband waited for me to find a spot to sit and eat. When I came back I noticed my husband’s face of dissatisfaction all because Harald Neuweg while intoxicated decided to come up to my husband and proceeded to tell him you don’t belong here , that is a very racist comment to make my husband is American even if does not look like it. I will not be back to this place ever again we work in the area and have been coming here for quite sometime needless to say i feel bad for the employees that are all very nice and have deal with that type of boss. We left very disappointed , mad and hurt at those nasty comments. He should be an example being the owner.

As a German, who lives just a few blocks away, this is not good German food…and the prices? Comically outrageous. Quite possibly the worst Currywurst I have had in my life, and certainly the most laughably overpriced. The sausage was not sliced and tasted like a $0.50 American hot dog from a grocery store. The fries had been likely sitting out for hours and simply reheated. Even in South Florida, there are numerous better options for decent German cuisine.

I was at dinner last night. The Owner, Harald was unappreciative of our service dog. He called us nuts and stupid for bringing a dog. Even after I showed the service certificate he didn't let go. He continued his aggressive name calling and yelled at us. Needless to say that service has a different feel.

Watch out for fraud! The gratuity they state on their menu that will be automatically added to the bill is different than what is actually added. Spoiler alert - they add more to your bill.

Coming here for years and always great experince, but today was a special day, Chef with red beard just decided he wont run happy hour today , we asked nicely what was reason and he goes : “ cause i dont want it , thats why” . We drove an hour to watch football and get special that has it on the menu and he doesnt want it. We complained with couple servers about his attitude and they all told us that he is terrible, he is just an owners son and does whatever he likes. Unacceptable
