Jealous Fork Miami Reviews
Stumbled upon this gem on our way to the Keys, and it did not disappoint! Best pancakes we've ever had, and the steak sandwich was amazing! Our server was attentive to our needs and recognized we were out of towners. She provided us with a pre-made list of local recommendations that the owner expanded upon further. They made us feel so welcome and the food was amazing! Highly recommend!
My family and I stumbled across Jealous Fork on Google because we wanted brunch at an establishment we didn't have back home. I'm so glad we went. The food was delicious. I thought I was trying dishes from a cooking competition. The owner explained some the pairing. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend.
Our first brunch of the New Year 2025 was amazing :) This was our 2nd visit to Jealous Fork and it was even better than the 1st. This time we sat at the bar and decided to go with savory choices vs. sweet. Although we definitely recommend the pancakes at some point or to go :) This time we kicked off with the Blueberry champagne cocktail and a beer from Louisiana. They have a nice selection of beers! As an appetizer we went a new addition to the menu, the flatbread with pepperoni, cheese & honey 🍯 yum😋 We both opted for the lobster roll which was the BEST in town. Nice chunks of lobster with home made chips that you can crush and enjoy on top of the lobster 🦞 for added texture & flavor. We finished off with the egg yolk cappuccino which was amazing 🤩 The service and vibe was second to none and Joaquin, one of the owners, was present and super hospitable along with his great staff! We highly recommend Jealous Fork! It was a great experience and we look forward to visiting again soon.
Where do I start? This place was a great hidden gem. The service is phenomenal, all of the servers were very kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and great vibes all around. We started with a Banana Matcha Tea and Salted Caramel Affogoto, and they were flavored excellently. I had the Lemon Curd & Blueberry Pancakes and they were the perfect touch of sweetness, not too overpowering. My wife got the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with an added egg. Delicious is an understatement, the savory flavors were dancing all over my tongue. The dishes were on the smaller side but enough to leave you feeling satisfied. I would recommend securing a reservation before coming to ensure you get an indoor seat, but they also offer a few tables outside (to seat 1-2 people) and chairs at the bar. You have to try this place if you’re in the Kendall area.
My partner and I drove down from NJ to visit family down in Miami and he saw this place nearby one day. We decided to go for breakfast for our anniversary on a whim since it was so close by and the menu looked good but I wasn't sure what to expect since I'm not familiar with the area. The food and service was great. The drink menu had a unique selection of cocktails that I liked. We ordered two apps and a pancake to share and it was just enough food for the both us. Food came out quick and everything was made fresh and delicious. The staff especially was super friendly. Our server asked us if we were celebrating anything today and gave us a candle and a handwritten celebratory note unprompted which was more than I expected and I thought was super sweet! I would definitely come back here again whenever I'm back in the area! 10/10
Outstanding. Learned about Jealous Fork from a colleague who raved about it. I live 40 minutes away with no traffic and based on their experience, I immediately made a reservation for a Saturday at 11am. Plentiful free parking in the complex's parking lot. A duo of friendly and accommodating greeters sat me quickly. I was told the dining room was small but I commend the setup for fitting as many customers at a time as possible. Before discussing the food, must say the "head dishwasher" is such a lovely human being. His leadership of the operation is so intentional, no wonder the staff are all so amazing. My dining partner and I had two servers - both were fantastic: attentive, kind, patient. This was indeed the absolute best service I have experienced across South Florida this year! Now the food. OMG. Everything! Safe to say, I ran back to work that Monday to rave back to my colleague. Everything was better than I anticipated. We started with the bacon spindle which my mind could not picture what was described but it was indeed a spindle of delicious, somewhat fatty, perfectly cooked and seasoned sweet bacon. So good! The pancakes are the perfect density and consistency - thick enough to hold up the flavor and maple syrup without being chalky. Perfect flavors - we had the infamous banana walnut pancakes. Whew, boy! SO GOOD! When the "head chef" explained the technique for the bananas, I understood why the flavor was so perfectly balanced. Jealous Fork also serves seasonal options. We tried the shrimp and grits pancakes which the way it was served was very unique but all the flavors came together perfectly. The mimosas definitely carry their weight - more fizz than juice and great companions to the food. Also the Salted Caramel Affogato was the best. I left, very happy that Jealous Fork is so far for me to go. Otherwise I would be there everyday. Highly recommend!!
We used to live in Kendall and never ate here but a relative took us after raving about it for brunch. We were blown away before we even sat down because of the level of service. The co-owner was on site and his authenticate, welcoming attitude made us feel at home before we even got all the way into the door. We had a little of everything- the banana matcha drink, the steak sandwich, burgers, and more. The steak sandwich really stood out- it’s not your typical palomilla steak sandwich but a tender, juicy, flavorful one. The truffle fries and sweet potato fries were obviously hand cut and even our picky kids devoured everything. The pancakes are delicious and I know that’s what they are known for but I’ll be back for that steak sandwich ASAP. Thank you for the amazing experience. We enjoyed our food so much, we didn’t snap any pics- just happily ate. 🤤
Pancakes were thicc and fluffy and the thematic twists were mostly well-done. Strawberry shortcake was our favorite. The Banh Mi was decent but not our favorite combination with a pancake. Joaquin, one of the owners, was very friendly and went out of his way to chat with us and give us other recommendations on spots in town.
I was in town and my family took me over to this brunch. The name was kinda very Interesting. So I immediately had to try it and it’s brunch say less. So we went over there and the menu is very wild. I ended up getting pancakes and had pork when I tell you the combination of the two was something that I didn’t know I needed in my life !!! Was definitely super amazing . The chef/owner was very attentive and it was also my daughter birthday. And they were very kind and gave us a treat very great with customer service and the food was amazing if you haven’t tried to spot or at you’re from out of town like myself definitely try it out.
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Joaquin is the best dishwasher, server, and the secret sauce to this place. Also shout out to Chi Chi and everyone else, the service is top notch. My family and I had a wonderful time!! 10/10 recommend!
What can I say about this place? Plenty! Great selection of sweet and yes, savory pancakes, great coffee bar, and their bacon spindle is to die for. It comes with a spicy maple syrup to dip it in! They also have a sweet potato latte, which is out of this world! Joaquin, the owner, always stops by the tables to say hello. Sebastian and Amanda are always there to greet us. They really take care of their customers. EVERYTHING IS MADE FROM SCRATCH ON THE PREMESIS. Exceptions are the cheeses and the oreos. This place is exceptional, and I'm glad that Kendall has such a unique chill vibe breakfast spot to go to. But beware... they close early and become the Jealous Burger at 5 pm. Kudos!
Be that the location is tiny don’t let that fool you. This place is full of flavor and so many options for brunch. We stopped by on a Sunday and was seated be an awesome staff and greeted with an amazing server. She explained the menu and told us what was famous here. I tried the steak sandwich and it was so juicy and tender. My wife and son both had pancakes and they really enjoyed them. I say give this place a try as you shouldn’t be let down!
Hit this place up for breakfast. Never thought I would pay $15 for pancakes but here we are….and I will say, it was worth it. Was it amazing? No..but it was damn good. Ordered the Chicken thigh high and, I believe, a Peach Cobbler. Pork belly bites were amazing but, unless you love corn, I would avoid the corn ribs. Looks nice, and tasty, at the end of the day…its corn. Definitely come back when in town again.
Amazing brunch spot! The food was excellent — hands down the best pancakes I’ve ever tried. Service was also outstanding, especially Ogean, who made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!
We are so glad we found this restaurant! It’s a little further west than we usually go for brunch on Sundays after church but it was definitely worth the drive. Overall the experience was fantastic. We were greeted promptly and the entire staff was really friendly. The food was spectacular. They have a unique spin on pancakes aside from many other delicious menu items. Of the things we tried we enjoyed the bbq chili ribs and the peanut butter cup pancakes. You can taste the freshness in the food made with real ingredients. We will certainly come back again to try some of the other things on the menu.
💕Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! The food was amazing and well presented. The cappuccino was delicious. Our server Chi Chi was remarkable!! I will definitely be going back to sample more dishes. I highly recommend Jealous Fork if you appreciate new and inventive takes on old favorites. Reservations suggested if going on the weekend. The place is small but the experience is worth it. I got a chance to speak with one the owners and he was very gracious, humble, and kind. 💕
Stopped here after an airboat ride on our way back to downtown Miami and it was spectacular! Food, service and atmosphere were phenomenal. My son ordered the peanut butter pancakes and said he’d never had a better pancake in “all of his 11 years!” The Manager, Joaquin, came over and talked to us and gave us a list of local spots to check out while in town. So glad we stopped here!
Absolutely amazing…. What an imagination to put sweet and salty together in a breakfast brunch. Ojean was amazing. super professional and making adjustments to special requests and the boss, Joaquin, is into everything and everyone and is one of the employees, refilling water, picking up plates…. Just all around he looks like a great boss! Definitely will be back for dinner…. Stop by for yourselves and checkit out….
What a lovely little place. I love being able to see where the magic happens, you can watch the kitchen and the faces behind your food from the seating area. There’s something deeply satisfying about that connection. The care and detail that go into each dish are unmistakable, and it brings real joy knowing you’re being served something made with intention something worth coming back for. This place is truly a gem. One energetic young lady seems to run the show effortlessly, a barista who brings a sense of calm to the space, and a beautifully orchestrated kitchen working together to create an experience you’ll want to return to again and again. Some reviews mention a wait time, but this is an experience, not fast food. Quality takes time. If you’re looking for a 15 minute breakfast, IHOP is always an option. If you’re here, it’s because you want something done right and it’s well worth the wait.
Made the drive from Fort Lauderdale. 100%worth it, the food and staff were beyond exceptional, do yourself a favor and order the egg yolk jar, and thank me later. This was such a delight we ordered two, the pork belly was the best that I’ve tasted. Now, let’s talk about the pancakes. These pancakes are like nothing you’ve ever tasted before, the texture, the flavor is truly a culinary experience. The staff and the owner were so friendly and welcoming you feel like you are eating at home, highly recommended 👌🏻🩷 Maria&Danny.
I drive the two hours south west once every year as a treat, and this team never disappoints. Whether it’s something on special, or items off the perfectly executed menu, you won’t be upset. This trip I started with a custard & espresso, and bacon wrapped garlic salt vanilla crème stuffed dates. The consistency of these dishes were out of this world. I didn’t get a picture of the cinnamon roll pancakes because they were gone before I knew it. Highly recommend jealous fork as this team had all the bases covered.
**5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** First time at Jealous Fork and OMG, I'm officially obsessed! 🍴✨ This place is a total vibe—bright, energetic, and serving up some of the most creative and delicious pancakes in Miami! I went classic with their traditional pancakes + two perfect sunny-side-up eggs, and it hit every spot. But the real show-stealer at our table? The **pork banh mi pancakes**—Vietnamese-inspired magic that had us all fighting for the last bite! 😍 The flavors were bold, fresh, and insanely good. No heavy, bloated feeling afterward either—the ingredients are clearly top-tier fresh and high-quality. Brunch done right! The energy in here is electric, the atmosphere is so fun and welcoming, and the service? Next level! Our server was all smiles, super friendly, and went above and beyond to make our brunch feel special. Truly made the whole experience unforgettable. If you're in Miami and love pancakes (or just love great food + good vibes), Jealous Fork is a MUST-try. Already counting down to round 2! 🙌🥞 Highly recommend—go hungry and leave happy!
I brought my friend over to enjoy some delicious food, the host was nice, the food was delicious 🤤. That hummus was out of this world, the pota bread was nice and warm. The sweet potato fries were also to die for. We had an issue with the pancake order, my friend really wanted to try the hangover one but instead they brought out a different order. The poor waitress apologized and kept telling us that she was going to pay for it since she made the mistake. The pancake was delicious. My only complaint was that I paid cash and they took forever to give me back cash and proper change for tip.
I’m literally still sitting at the table as I write this. We just ordered with Miranda, who was warm, sharp, and genuinely welcoming. Then Joaquin, the chef and owner, stopped by our table and had a really pleasant, unforced conversation with us. No sales pitch, no ego, just pride and care. And here’s the thing, the food hadn’t even arrived yet when I was already impressed. You can tell right away when a place is being run by people who actually care. The staff, the energy, the location, everything feels intentional and well thought out. Jealous Fork earned real credit before a single plate hit the table. We started with the burrata, simple yet sophisticated and a perfect way to begin. Clean flavors, nothing trying too hard, just done right. Next was the steak sandwich on their house made ciabatta. This is worth mentioning because I’ve had ciabatta that’s so crunchy it hurts your teeth. This wasn’t that at all. The bread was soft and pillowy, still doughy in the middle, with horseradish and cheddar that didn’t overpower anything. Even the steak itself was impressively tender for how thick it was. I finished with a chocolate chip pancake, which was an excellent way to end the meal. Comforting, satisfying, and exactly what you want it to be. We also had a banana matcha latte, which honestly surprised me in the best way. Balanced, flavorful, and not gimmicky. I really can’t wait to come back. This place is doing things the right way.
I stopped by The Jealous Fork this morning (well, more like brunch time) and had an amazing experience! As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me with a smile and seated us right away. Everyone was super friendly and attentive — we were given menus and water immediately, and our server took the time to go over the specials and their most popular dishes. The lemon blueberry custard pancake was the star of the show — perfectly fluffy, tangy, and sweet in all the right ways. Absolutely worth the visit just for that! Great service, great food, and a warm atmosphere — I’ll definitely be coming back soon.
It’s a great place, especially for the area. Hidden gem. I love their French toast. Only thing I’m not a fan of is the coffee drinks. Black coffee is good but I think they need more non dairy and frothy coffee drinks but other than that it’s good. I love their other drinks. The egg in a jar is so good. Mimosas can’t go wrong!!
I'm a regular at Jealous Fork almost since the beginning. Their food is always awesome and always fresh. The servers are super friendly and now know me and my husband by name and are always happy to see us. The owner recently lowered the prices of everything on the menu to help the average joe be able to more easily afford their food. I highly, HIGHLY recommend coming here for breakfast and getting any of their pancakes, they are always worth the wait. Also ask for their specials, they are always on point. Only con: They didn't make their amazing bread pudding special a permanent fixture 😤 Add it to the menu, man!
I had the chai latte, which was great. They only have oat milk and whole. The lemon curd blueberry pancakes are delicious. I was with friends and they all really liked what they ordered. The pancakes do take a little longer to cook, so keep that in mind if you are a rush, but they are so worth it. It's unlike any pancake I've had before and it was amazing. They also have savory pancake options, which one of my friends ordered and really liked. The menu isn't extensive, but everything was done well.
On our way to the everglades tour this morning stopped in at Jealous Fork. 10/10 service from Ogene and the food was incredible. We had the breakfast sandwich which was perfectly cooked and tasty but the star of the show was the organic cinnamon scroll Pancakes. Honestly the best pan cakes we have ever had. The owner came out after we finished our breakfast and gave us some top recommendations while we were here for our honeymoon. This is what holidays are all about! Meeting cool people and enjoying amazing food.
Owner walks around and asks you for feedback. Great quality food, very unique. Thought I would prefer the savory pancakes, but nope, sweet is where its at. Very busy.
Great place!! They customized my meal to make it exactly what I wanted and it was superb!! Definitely coming back!! I suggest the Chef makes it a brunch entry and calls it “JD’s STK and EGGS Rancheros” :)
My fiancé and I came here for breakfast, and let me tell you…the food is absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the owner and the host, both of whom were incredibly friendly. I loved how they had us change forks so we wouldn’t mix the flavors of our appetizer with the pancakes. The owner made the experience even better by explaining the dishes and how he prepared them. Our server, Andrea, was phenomenal and very attentive. Overall, the food and service were beyond excellent. I would definitely recommend this place!
Brunch will never be the same after experiencing this pancake paradise. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The aroma alone was enough to make my stomach do cartwheels — butter, vanilla, maple, and magic swirling through the air. The pancakes? Absolute heaven. Fluffy yet melt-in-your-mouth tender, golden with that perfect crisp edge, stacked high and crowned with toppings that felt more like an art form than breakfast. Think creamy whipped butter, seasonal fruits that tasted like they were picked just for you, drizzles of house-made syrups that feel like liquid gold, and a dusting of powdered sugar like the first snowfall of winter.
Wow, I absolutely love this restaurant! My boyfriend and I have already been twice, and both visits were amazing - the food, the atmosphere, and the service are all top-notch. On our first visit, we shared the chicken parm sandwich and the pistachio pancakes (which were on special), and oh my goodness, we were in food heaven! We also tried the custard + espresso - highly recommend this unique drink. It was so velvety, creamy, and perfectly sweet. When we came back yesterday, we had the pulled pork sandwich and the mango key lime pie pancakes and wow, we were so happy we returned. Every bite was delicious! The customer service here is also awesome - super attentive and friendly staff who make you feel so welcome. You can really tell a lot of love went into this place. And the best part? We finally have a high-quality restaurant like this in our area, so we don’t have to drive all the way to Coral Gables or Wynwood for amazing food. We’ll definitely be regulars here. ☺️ Highly recommend!
The Jealous Fork – A Must-Visit Gem! If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers top-notch service, incredible food, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than The Jealous Fork. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was special. The energy, the teamwork among the staff, and the passion behind the food were all evident. This was hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Food That Exceeds Expectations The menu at The Jealous Fork is unique and creative, offering dishes you won’t find just anywhere. I started with a cheeseburger and a bacon spindle, both of which were absolutely delicious. The cheeseburger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the bacon spindle was crispy and packed with rich, smoky goodness. But the true highlight of my meal was the Oreo pancakes—and I’m not exaggerating when I say these were the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The texture was light and fluffy, the flavors blended perfectly, and the presentation was just as amazing as the taste. They were sweet but not overpowering, with the perfect balance of Oreo goodness in every bite. If you visit The Jealous Fork, these pancakes are a must-try—trust me, you won’t regret it! My wife ordered the strawberry pancakes, which she also loved. Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Outstanding Service and Hospitality One of the things that truly stood out was the impeccable service. From start to finish, we felt like valued guests. The owners were actively engaged, moving from table to table, ensuring everyone was happy. It’s rare to see restaurant owners so involved in the dining experience, and it made such a difference. Not only did they take time to personally greet guests, but the owner even invited me into the kitchen! It was amazing to see the passion behind the food firsthand. Watching him and his team work together seamlessly was inspiring. The entire staff was incredibly attentive—almost every server checked on our table at least once, making sure we were taken care of. It was clear they all worked together as a team, creating a smooth and enjoyable experience for every guest. The Atmosphere We chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful day, and it was the perfect setting for our meal. The outdoor seating area was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Whether you sit inside or outside, you’ll feel the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes this restaurant so special. Final Thoughts – A Five-Star Experience The Jealous Fork is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the delicious, well-crafted menu to the exceptional customer service and welcoming atmosphere, this place truly has it all. The level of dedication from the owners and staff is something you don’t see every day, and it makes a huge difference in the overall experience. If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit spot. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty burger, crispy bacon, or out-of-this-world pancakes, The Jealous Fork delivers on every level. We will absolutely be coming back, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal. ⭐ Five stars from Tarah and Chris! ⭐
Natalia was very kind and good services. The breakfast was Chai latte and capuchino,Pancakes Lemon Curd and Berries, and also Vikin ( smoke salmon , cucumber with alcaparras) delicioso.

Amazing brunch spot! Went with two friends and we shared the hummus and flatbread, the steak sandwich, the Oreo pancakes and the Pork Belly Banh Mi pancakes and the pancakes were the best! Owner was so nice and came to the table. Will be going back!
This place serves up some good bites. The server was super friendly and attentive. I'm not sure why there's so many 1 star reviewers of people complaining about wait time. If fast food service is what you want than a drive thru is probably your choice. If portions are what you're complaining than a buffet is where you should go. And if prices are too high than clearly this is not in your budget. An establish cannot and should not cater to every critic. This place is good for those who want tasty food and aren't rushing to their next meal. Presentation is great, taste is superb and though it may be a little small it's ok, some of us like a more intimate space. I definitely think this is a great choice for a meal. And it shows. If it's busy and crowded, it must be for a reason!! Those 1 star review folks are just complaining for the heck of it. I guarantee if ihop pancakes it's what they wanted, they wouldn't have come here in the first place. I would return and recommend!!!
We celebrated such a special moment at Jealous Fork and it was truly unforgettable. The blueberry pancakes were hands down the best we’ve ever had — perfectly fluffy, buttery, and topped with the most delicious warm blueberry compote that tasted fresh and homemade. The balance of sweetness was just right, and every bite melted in our mouths. They even added a candle to help us celebrate our engagement, which made it feel extra special and personal. What made the experience even more amazing was the customer service. One of the owner’s Joaquin personally came to our table to congratulate us, which was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture. You can truly feel the love and care they put into both their food and their guests. From the warm atmosphere to the incredible pancakes and genuine hospitality, everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a place with amazing brunch and even better service, this is it. We’ll definitely be back to celebrate many more milestones here. 💍🫐🥞
I can finally leave a review since Ive tried their breakfast and dinner. Best place for breakfast and dinner. Although limited in the evenings with menu choices. The burgers they cook are probably the best I've had. Im not even gonna say anything about their breakfast. Just look at every other popular review. They'll say the same thing. Really great pancakes. To our first time having dinner. O-Jean was our server. He was amazing. Next time I see him, im bringing him a soda from my collection. If you see him ask him about soda. IYKYK
Super cute, friendly and attentive! Several people came over to our table to make sure we didn’t need for anything, including Joaquin one of the owners as they are both always on premise. They also offer recommendations to other local gems for those not familiar with the area. Overall the pancakes were very good, and I loved reading their back story! I wasn’t aware that they are a hybrid between traditional light, fluffy pancakes and a heavier, dense less sweet biscuit….i do love a light buttery vanilla so it did disappoint on that note. I tried the lemon blueberry ricotta and hubs had the banana nut. While I do not care for overly sweet items, I felt they could have been just a touch sweeter as I had to keep going back for more syrup, and I wished it had more bananas.
I was looking for a "coladita" coffee, but they don’t have that on their menu. Instead, they recommended another coffee, which I forgot what it was called, but it was similar to what I wanted and was really good! My friend and I ordered a salty pancake and a sweet pancake to share, and both were delicious! Overall, the experience was fantastic, and the service was excellent! I will definitely be coming back!
Lovely cafe with great and attentive servers. Food was nice and well presented however I had higher expectations given the reviews We ordered smoked burrata and that was yummy although nothing exceptional; The banana pancake was really good and in my opinion, the best plate we ordered! The strawberry cheesecake pancake was a bit disappointing…however I will be coming back to try other pancakes.
Nestled in the vibrant Tamiami neighborhood of Miami at 14417 SW 42nd St, Jealous Fork is a gem that started as the country’s first artisan pancake food truck back in 2019 and has since evolved into a cozy brick-and-mortar haven for American comfort food with a creative twist. Founded by culinary innovators Joaquin Ortis and Henrik Telle, this spot blends nostalgic eats with innovative flair, earning rave reviews for its pancakes, burgers, and serene backyard vibe—perfect for a laid-back brunch escape from Miami’s hustle. With a Travelers’ Choice award from Tripadvisor and a 4.5-star average on Yelp from over 460 reviews, it’s no surprise it’s a local favorite. I popped in on a sunny Saturday morning, and while the wait was about 20 minutes (totally worth it), the experience delivered on every level. We kicked things off with the flatbread appetizer, and oh boy, it was on top point—crispy-edged, loaded with fresh toppings like roasted veggies and a drizzle of herb-infused oil that had us scraping the plate clean. It’s the kind of starter that sets a high bar, simple yet executed with that Jealous Fork magic that makes you jealous of anyone who hasn’t tried it yet. For mains, the hamburger was a standout: juicy, perfectly seared patty on a buttery brioche bun, piled with melty cheese, crisp lettuce, and a house sauce that hits all the savory notes without overwhelming. My tablemate raved about the pulled pork sandwich just as much—tender, slow-smoked shreds in a tangy BBQ sauce that pulled apart effortlessly, served with house-made pickles and a side of seasoned fries. Both were massive portions, bursting with flavor, and easily in the running for Miami’s best casual bites. No visit to Jealous Fork would be complete without diving into their pancake legacy, and the banana walnut pancake didn’t disappoint—it was very, very good, fluffy stacks infused with ripe banana sweetness and crunchy walnuts, topped with a caramel drizzle that felt like a hug from brunch heaven. It’s clear why they’re dubbed “Florida’s Best Pancakes”; these aren’t your average flapjacks—they’re elevated, gourmet artistry. Dessert brought a minor hiccup: the affogato and strawberry fizz were late to join the party, arriving about 10 minutes after our mains (a busy kitchen moment, perhaps?), but once they did make an appearance, they stole the show. The affogato was a dreamy scoop of vanilla gelato drowned in hot espresso, creamy and bold with just the right bitter edge. The strawberry fizz, a fizzy mocktail with fresh berries and a splash of soda, was refreshingly tart and bubbly—ideal for cutting through the richness of the meal. Service was warm and attentive overall, with our server Chi Chi (shoutout!) guiding us through the menu like a pro, though the slight delay on drinks kept things from being flawless. Prices are reasonable for the quality—entrees hover around $15-20—and the backyard seating added a chill, tropical oasis feel. If you’re in Miami craving inventive comfort food that doesn’t skimp on taste or portions, Jealous Fork is a must. I’ll be back for that churrasco next time. 4.5 stars—jealously recommended!
Jealous Fork in West Kendall is a true gem. The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for families, and the staff is consistently kind and attentive. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was delicious, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommended.
I genuinely enjoyed my meal and time spent here. The service is exceptional, and I’m especially impressed with the espresso with cream on top. It was delicious. The only drawbacks are the time it takes to get your pancakes is rather long, and then the pork one I had in particular was rather dry. I highly suggest making a black sesame honey syrup to pair with this dish! That would be killer. My mother enjoyed her strawberry cheesecake one she said it was a “banger.” Other than that, very great.
This is a very cute brunch spot and without a doubt the best in the area. The best part by far were the coffee, they were absolutely delicious, cannot recommend enough. Their speciality is pancakes, and they have some fun savory flavors. We tried the chicken one, which was very enchilada like, and the pancake tasted like cornbread. Was interesting. The lemon curd and blueberry one was pretty good as well
