I've gone to KUSH about three times now. The atmosphere's really cool and I think the "street" feel to it and the surrounding area with all the graffiti and art is really nice. Customer service is amazing, and the employees are really kind. The last time I went, one of the waitresses was actually pretty talkative and pretty funny when she came around to our table. The food was amazing as it's always been, and I've been trying something new every time i go.. and probably will continue to. I don't go super often either, which always makes the food more of a treat. Fully recommend you try this place out! You can even bring your kids, and there's a dog menu if you're eating outside, too.

Issac was an amazing server. He had knowledge of all the menu items and even knew where some of the decor came from with a touch on local history. Food was very good. Location was nice. Seated immediately. They overheard us asking our server to take a picture for us and they turned the lights up for it and then back down again. Atmosphere was perfect and we are so glad we stumbled into this one.

Amazing service and a really cool atmosphere. We love their decor. Their food was awesome too! We got table by the bar and we have been treated respectfully! The location of this pace is ok though. If you are driving around the area then you need to find parking on the streets which is not bad to find.

If you are looking for craft beers, this is the place to go. This is a small restaurant/bar but the staff is awesome. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us and they have a great marketing team (messages on the wall and the whole restaurant vibe). We only had beer and appetizers here. However, the food looked amazing. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to go while in Miami. Very chill vibe.

Best burgers in Wynwood! The guava burger is my favorite. We ordered the Dr. Dank IPA Beer and the shrimps appetizer. I love the vibe in this place. Server was amazing, making sure we really enjoy the experience. I will be back! Thank you for the hospitality 🧡

Amazing ambience, really friendly staff. They helped me with charging my phone. They have amazing gator tacos and gator bites. They have this mango beer. Its thick and tastes amazing. Highly recommended place.

I went here on a Thursday night. You will have to find parking here which might be a bit tricky if you don't know the place. First, make sure you download the PayByPhone app so that you can pay for your parking. Secondly, You will have to park North of the restaurant because you won't find parking South of the Restaurant. There are some side streets where you will find parking and you'll also have to beware of the No Parking signs. I was greeted warmly and exceptionally. I don't remember the names of the waitresses but they were great. The wait to be sat down was none and the waitress was ready for me a little after I had sat down. Before I sat down, there was a bit of water spilled on the table and I told the waitress not to worry, that it was fine, that I could just sit there. She insisted on wiping down the table, which she did. Also, since I was on Keto they offered to use lettuce wraps instead of hamburger buns without me even asking. They did the best to get the nutrition facts for the burgers as well but unfortunately they didn't have these. I sat outside on the bench tables and watched people walk and cars pass by which wasn't too bad. I also got to enjoy a bit of the Wynwood feel by sitting outside. If you're not down with traffic noise then I suggest you sit inside because there's a lot of that when you sit outside. However, I really enjoyed the fresh air and the occasional people walking by. Also the music inside is a bit too loud for my taste. The music they were playing outside however was perfect. The inside of the restaurant is also nice, I like the decoration and it has a warm feel to it. Sort of like you're in a medieval tavern from Game of Thrones. To go on, I picked the Frita Burger. It was like a 15 minute wait before the food got there. Not a long wait. The Frita burger was absolutely magnificent and so were the fries. The burger had Guava Jelly which gave it a sweet taste like no other. The fries were great too. That burger was cooked to perfection. They have a huge selection of craft beer which is freaking awesome. I'm not a big drinker, specially during the weekdays so I had the Kambucha which was great if you like it, I had never tried it before. There was no Diet Coke or sugar free Red Bull or I would have taken that. There is however regular Red Bull. Once you're done with your food then I suggest you take a walk by heading North on North Miami Ave. because there's a lot to look at. You will find a lot of beautiful art on the walls and shops which might catch your attention. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

KUSH, MIAMI, FL. These guys here know a lot about Burgers and about fancy and funky combinations. We loved everything they served, loved the delicious dessert and all around it. The best burger place in Miami. Only parking sucked due to a construction area. Try it! You will not regret it. OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

Loved the service and staff! Gator bites are delicious - for your consideration: it tastes like fried calamari and chicken strips : no worries — try it!

KUSH was one of the first restaurants in Wynwood and the fact that they are always busy is a testament to their fantastic food and hospitality. The fried gator bites and fried mushrooms are excellent. The frita burger, which is an ode to the famous Cuban burger, is just exceptional (I recommend medium rare). One of the best burgers I've ever had. They have a strong beer selection as well. The vibe is casual and service is friendly and enthusiastic. They get pretty busy on the weekends but you can wait for your table at their tiny beer lounge next door. I would highly recommend this place, especially for the burger.

A cool farm to table spot for craft beers and burgers with friends in Wynwood. My husband had a Johnny Utah burger and he loved. I didn't order anything but I got some sweet potato fries from his plate and it was PERFECT, crunch and soft inside. One of the best fries I've ever had. The service is friendly and efficient. Their creative decor inspired in 90's and street art, is part of the experience, wich is a bonus if you are seating to dine in.

A

The food was really tasty and we went there for a second time. They also have a large variety of beers to offer. But be aware the atmosphere inside is really loud, so that might be an issue for some people.

As a weekend visitor, we went to Kush after seeing it pop up on multiple Cuban sandwich best-of lists. It was definitely enjoyable, along with the Zuni's Employee Meal salad, which was a grilled head of romaine lettuce and other grilled toppings, totally unexpected and awesome. Good beer. Like the key lime pie with noticeable zest. We ate and drank way too much. 20% service charge is automatically added to the bill, a common practice in Miami restaurants I didn't expect. Outdoor seating is limited to two tables that can fit four parties of 2-4 and a side long table, bar height, at a very busy intersection and gets direct sun in the afternoon. Wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.

Came for lunch to try the Frita burger, surprisingly very tasty and our server Jared was very attentive and friendly. The gator bites never disappoint, if you’ve never tried it before definitely give it a chance.

Brilliant burger and beer bar in Wynwood. Though I'm tempted to skip straight to the key lime pie, best I've ever tasted. Staff are friendly and happy to recommend something from the extensive beer list.

Great service and good burgers. I stopped in while on vaca after a Marlins game with some friends the server was great, very friendly and gave us some good recommendations on food. We ordered the Frita and Johnny Utah burger. This is a cool spot for drink with some great food. And the vibe is retro early 90s 👌🏾

Very cute place with delicious food. First time tried alligators bites here. KUSH has its own brownie, believe me, it is awesome!

We really enjoyed visiting and eating at this place. Very distinctive atmosphere and beer selection. They also have vegan options for food which makes it a plus. I definitely recommend visiting.

Kush at first looks low key and shady, the place around the restaurant is sorta wack. But the service was really nice and keeps up with the theme of how low-key and youth oriented this place is. I ordered the Gator Bites and the Frita. Both were amazing and unique. The Gator Bites will be something I yearn for again. And the Frida, although cooked a bit less well than I preferred, was a nice sweet and savory experience. The other pieces in the menu had small touches of unique tastes like a Sriracha maple syrup or a beer with a coconut taste.

I found this place online and Came here with my pops. I just had to try one of the burgers here bc that’s what they are known for. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger which is the standard for me the first time I come to a burger establishment. The burger bun was fluffy and soft. It wasn’t an off the shelf bun from the local grocery store. These were freshly baked buns. This is good for soaking up the moisture from the burger. The burger meat itself was seasoned well and cooked medium well / slightly pink to meep it from being dry . The patty was medium sized, Not too thin and not too thick. A slice of melted cheddar cheese and 2 thick pieces of bacon. The server was great and my pops really enjoyed his burger. Would be glad to come back and visit again.

Chicken and waffles for the WIN! Great spot. Small and dark. So if tight spaces are not your favorite I recommend you take it to go. Extensive beer list. Cool fun spot. Looking forward to go back for lunch

The vegan/vegetarian options are amazing !! I tried the vegan jambalaya it was well seasoned, fresh ingredients. The service was fast, the drinks were so good and aesthetically pleasing. Everything is farm to kitchen so you won’t regret it !

It's like my favorite bar on the west coast but on the east coast. Phenomenal selection of beer and food. In fact, the gator bites are amazing. I could sit there and eat them all day. I samples through some of the sours and I liked them all. Overall I was pretty impressed by the venue, food, and of course beer.

I’ve been eating at KUSH for as long as I can remember. They are consistent. Always excellent food and beer (can or tap), and the team is genuine, friendly, and playful. That's a Happy Plate 🤙🏽 Anyone that has an issue with the 20% service charge can cram-it-in-their-cram-hole. People deserve a livable wage. They’ve earned it! Cheers 🍺 The end.

We always enjoy the great burgers there despite simple by the street set up, waitresses are very nice but on our Thursday night dinner the host (short heavy male) was very disrespectful to all customers who asked for table. It ruined our dinner experience. Update: The current host is super nice and all staff works very nice. The burgers are still amazing and so is their IPA selection. From one to five stars experience.

11/10 service ... great staff! Angelica was the best waitress! But the best part..... the a Chicken and Waffles are AMAZING. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Plus if you like spicy... add a bit of Sriracha sauce to give it a kick. The fries were great. Crispy but not too crispy also fresh. The drafts were really good too

Ate here for the first time today. Our servers name was Ashley. She was nice. Tiny place but great food! I had a classic burger and my boyfriend had chicken and waffles. We both loved our food. We also had an amazing appetizer, we forgot the full name of it something tostones. They were our favorite!

Don't judge a book by it's cover. When we first walked up, we said "is this place even open?" We walk in and saw the place was jumping at noon on a Wednesday. This place is cool. TV/comic book/movie character for beer tap handles. Good beer selection and they will let you try anything on tap. Great menu options. Staff is very friendly. Service was great. Sandwiches were delicious - they lived up to the 'best burger' reviews that made us seek out this place. If you're ever in Miami take the time to stop. Then when you're done take a walk around Wynwood.

what a wonderful burger place in Wynwood. I tried frita by kush and it was one of the best burgers I've had! they have a bunch of draft options and many many burgers options for different taste. The staff was very friendly, and quick. The atmosphere was like no other. Will definitely come back again to try more burgers!

L

Super tasty burgers, you can tell the meat used is high quality. Fries were crunchy and soft inside. Loved the natural soda they had available, I don’t usually find them too great but this one was a great substitute.

R
Rekha V

Good spot to go to after wandering around Wynwood. The food was very tasty. Half the table ordered veggie burgers, the other half had regular burgers and everyone was satisfied with their meal. I had the veggie burger and substituted the toppings with one of the other spicier burgers. I thought it was delicious. Expect a wait if you show up at a busy time because there isn’t much space to sit on the inside.

10/10 for sure! We tried the aligator bites, shrimp, and the guava burger with sweet potato fries. Juicy burger, fried right sweet potato fries, and man those gator bites and shrimp were LIFE! A MUST try if you're ever in the area

Really enjoyed my visit to KUSH. Got there when they opened which was a wise decision. It's a bit on the smaller side with not many tables but cozy and inviting. Decorations were fun and very MIA. Our server was super sweet and helpful. Craft beer was great and good variety. The food is on point. Frita was awesome. Burgers are phenomenal. Fries are thick and cooked to perfection. Liked the place so much I bought a shirt. Definitely on my favorites list.

Been coming here since the year they first opened and they have never disappointed. Delicious food, great service and chill ambiance. The gator bites are a must try and you can’t go wrong with the Frita burger for that Miami twist on a burger.

Funky, cool, cozy place located in Wynwood. An area we hardly ever frequent, but I'm glad we ventured out. The bricked interior makes for a cool and creative decor. Our first time at Kush and it was a hit! Didn't surprise me since their sister restaurants, Lokal and The Spillover, are just as amazing. Kush came highly recommended, plus it had been on my bookmark for a while now. We came on a Tuesday for lunch to celebrate my birthday, parking was a breeze on the street and paid using the PaybyPhone App. We were greeted with a warm welcome and sat us down immediately. Ana-Monet was our server and boy was she friendly, personable, attentive and very knowledgeable. For me, this part of customer service speaks louder than words. And although she was visibly busy with other tables, she was able to multi-task and give us her undivided attention. And with the help of Larissa, our beers and food were just flowing. Larissa was very sweet, attentive and helpful. Chris, the manager was just as amazing and seemed very passionate about his job and had a sense of pride. What we loved, ate and drank: * Knee Deep IPA 16oz - $8 * Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout 12oz - $13 * Finback Two Regimes 12oz - $14 * Homestead Guacamole - avocados mixed with chopped onions, red pepper, cilantro, and pickled relish with lime served with homemade salsa and warm tortilla chips ~ $11 * Florida Alligator Bites - fresh local alligator from Cypress Creek Farms in Starke, Fl. Fried and seasoned with Old Bay, served with creamy garlic and spicy mayo ~ $13 * Kush and Hash - a 4 oz burger with hash, (NO bacon), fried egg, American cheese, and homemade ketchup, served on a waffle bun with maple syrup ~ $15 * Vegan Jambalaya - vegan "chick'n" and "chorizo sausage," sautéed with peppers, onions, brown rice and homemade cajun sauce ~ $15 * Vegan Sweet Potato Ice Cream by Dasher & Crank (who btw happens to be a few blocks down the street, 2211 NW 2nd Ave) ~ $7 They have Vegan and Gluten Free Options. I believe the reason why Kush, Lokal and The Spillover do so well is because of the culture of the company. You can tell because employee morale is high, turnover rate is low, their front-of-house staff is well trained, and in turn it is what keeps customers happy and coming back for more.

I ordered the Lokal burger for delivery and the burger itself was juicy, if a little bland. I wish they had added seasoning to the burger patty itself before putting it on the grill. The fries were over-seasoned and not as crispy as I would like, but that may be because they were sitting in a to-do box for 10min. I liked the burgers at Lokal more. Edit: Spicy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries was amazing! The taste is definitely better when you dine in! The Vegan Jambalaya was also good, if a little salty. I would stick with the burgers and sandwiches. Also, I would highly recommend getting an Uber here. The area around the restaurant isn't great, so it's better to Uber directly for safety.

L
Luis Valdes

Good music and good attentions. One of best burgers in town and absolutely best Cuban sandwich. I recommend having late lunch so it won’t be packed. Try crocodile

N
Natalia Yepes

The Frita is my favorite burger, hands down. I love the mix of the sweet guava with the savory meat. I always get 50/50 fries (potato and sweet potato). Their beer selection is good. Quality of service varies every time I go but overall I love them and keep coming back.

I have a list of the top 25 burgers to try in South Florida (It's really a top 35 list but top 25 has a nice ring to it) and Kush was on the list. It's not in a particular order from best to worst, so I go to the ones that catch my attention, and Kush did. To start, there's no private parking. You park on the street and pay the parking through an app. I find that a bit annoying since I'm not from the area, but I'm sure the locals are used to it. The joint is small with limited seating, and it's located on a corner. They have various draft artisan beers to choose from. At the time of my visit, the place wasn't too busy so I didn't have to wait. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender who also took the order. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. They give you the option of going 50-50 on the fries with half being sweet potato and the other regular fries, which is nice. I wish more places would do this. The burger was juicy and well seasoned and delicious. If I'm not mistaken the meat they use comes from grass-fed cows. Out of 4 tiers, I would place this burger on the 4th tier. It's that good. The service was good and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes burgers. You're not going to be disappointed. Again, keep in mind that it's a small joint and during busy hours there might be a bit of a wait. I went on a Wednesday afternoon at around 2 o'clock and didn't have to wait. Hope this helps if you decide to check this place out.

I was told this place has the best burgers in Miami, and Kush did not disappoint. I had the Frita burger with guava jam, delicious bacon, and an excellently flavored patty with a hint of rosemary. I would definitely recommend, and will be back.

S

This place is awesome, totally fits in with the rest of Wynwood. I got the spicy chicken sandwich that’s apparently organic or cage free which is great because eating chicken that’s processed scares me. Who knows what’s in it? I love the humor and the art around the place. They have a little to go window which is very convenient for someone like me. Music blasting outside and the bartender was nice. Good job

N
Nick Cruz

Great appetizers, great beers, great burgers and great service! Not a big place so it can get crowded. You might have to wait but I would still recommend it. The gator bites were surprisingly better than what I expected and the Angry Chef Burger really hit the spot! Will be back.

Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We have frequented this spot more than once and love the local draft beer selection. We always start with the Conch Salad as an appetizer, such a special dish the Caribbean culture of miami, the burgers to die for, reuben is on point and chicken and waffles are the most popular dish. The spot is small so best bet is hitting it up on a weekday.

The food is so so good, you have to try it. I can not explain how delicious this food was. Honestly, we think it's the best food we've had in our whole 2-week trip .... you got to try it to believe it. Service is impeccable too.

The headline of this place should be Tiny but Mighty. We went on a Tuesday for lunch for my baby's birthday. There was plenty of street parking available. As soon as we walked in Ana-Monet greeted us with a smile and sat us at a table in the corner. She was very attentive and quick to serve us our first round of beers. Our first round was the Knee Deep IPA, 16oz for $8. Second round was the Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout 12oz for $13. The final round was the Finback Two Regimes 12oz for $14. We shared the Homestead Guacamole, yummy avocados mixed with chopped onions, red pepper, cilantro, and pickled relish with lime served with homemade salsa and warm tortilla chips, all for $11. She had the Florida Alligator Bites - fresh local alligator from Cypress Creek Farms in Starke, Fl. Fried and seasoned with Old Bay, served with creamy garlic and spicy mayo, $13. She enjoyed them. I don't eat meat, so I had to pass. She also had the Kush and Hash - a 4 oz burger with hash, (NO bacon), fried egg, American cheese, and homemade ketchup, served on a waffle bun with maple syrup, $15. She does not eat bacon, pork or any pig product, baby steps. I ordered my go to when I visit their sister restaurant, the Vegan Jambalaya - vegan "chick'n" and "chorizo sausage," sautéed with peppers, onions, brown rice and homemade cajun sauce, $15. Seriously, if I didn't know better I would think it was regular Jambalaya, it is delicious. I highly recommend this dish. For dessert we shared the Vegan Sweet Potato Ice Cream by Dasher & Crank, $7. Delicious and creamy. Yum! Wynwood, is a little far from Kendall, however, I would totally return. The service was amazing, Ana-Monet was juggling the lunch rush but still had time to chat and deliver all of our yummy food without delay or error. I love the brick interior. You don't feel like you are in Miami, which is a good thing.

Great spot. Awesome burger and the service was legit. I enjoyed the johnny utah burger and there sweet potato fries. The burger selection alone is worth a try. The sandwiches also have my attention.

Update: Went back on opening day/ covid19(June 9th 2020), Sat outside - they cleaned tables thoroughly. We had the Alligator bites, frita burger, classic burger, kush & hash burger and their Cuban Sandwich. All was amazing - no leftovers. The staff and our waiter provided top notch service. Prior review: I had their famous chicken & waffles (loved the hint of spicyness in the syrup) and we also tried their Chimi Burger. Both were delicious!! Also, the staff was very welcoming and on point with service. Can't wait to come back and try other burgers.

The alligator is the best starter. We had burgers and we told them to use lettuce instead of the Bun and it was fantastic. The service was great too

This is a definite must try. We were are the NASCAR race and as a joke we saw this place when looking for deep fried alligator. It was late and we opted to give it a try. I remember the first time we drove up to this place. Thinking a true hole in the wall. Just remember sometimes the best food is in these places and you dont have to go to the most expensive places. We did have the deep fried alligator and it was really good. I saw the chicken and waffles and tried it. Wow. Great waffles with bacon on it and chicken tenders. Talked to the manager and told him I was from southern Calif. We talked about Roscoes Chicken and Waffles. Told him I thought theirs was clearly better.

Great service, wonderful beer selection, and the decor is super rad. The vegan tacos were a little dry but my friend loved his fried chicken sandwich, and everyone there was chill and friendly. Probably the coolest spot for craft beer in Miami.

Wow! Incredible burgers! Great and quite original burger ideas, delicious buns and quite large size to be honest. The sweet potato fries were great, the regular fries were..regular! Friendly and very accommodating staff, pet friendly and reasonable prices too. Good beer selection also. I didn't necessarily like the location though. Too noisy.

Very unassuming, low-key spot but the food is fantastic! Our waitress was amazing, she was bubbly and well-versed with the food and drink menu. She told us about a new, off-menu appetizer: pulled pork tostones which were delicious! We also ordered the alligator bites, which were tender and lightly breaded. It was a generous portion too! For entrees, we had the frita burger and spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken usually comes grilled, but can be fried on request. Really good food all around and added bonus: there is a parking lot adjacent to the building where you can park for free

Amazing burger joint (veggie burger for me) and amazing beer. Came by for the first time on a Saturday night and this little spot was packed! We had almost a 1 hour wait so they sent us to the cool waiting room next door where we ordered a couple of beers and played some board games while we waited. Very chill spot and relaxed atmosphere. Totally didn't even realize how 1 hour flew by in this place while we talked with our fiends and had a good time. By the time we went to the main dining room we were starved and ordered the grilled cheese appetizer (not the best I've had but we were hungry and it was good, wish it had more cheese for all that bread). Our friends ordered the guacamole, it was delicious too but not the best one. I definitely think you can't go wrong with burgers and beers here, after all, that's what they're known for! We ordered the mushroom/black bean burger (I can't remember if it was black bean! But it was amazing!). We couldn't tell a difference in size between our burgers and our friends regular burgers. What I loved the most about it is how thick the patty was and how fully of flavor and moist it was (usually they're always dry). The sweet potato fries and regular fries were to die for! To top things off, ordered a guava beer. Yes, you heard right: GUAVA beer. After all, we're in soflo where anything and everything can and will have guava in it. This I was AMAZING. At first, I was a little afraid to order it wasn't sure if it would be too sweet or too much but it was just right. Zero sweetness, light beer with a kick of Guava. A must try! Overall great experience, great intimate environment. It's definitely a little hole in the wall not a huge space for large groups so keep it small. Best part is they also have a small doggie menu, what is there not to love? Four pawed friends are welcome (outside only) but they're welcome so that's all that counts!

First time in Miami and had my 13 year old search up fried Alligator. This place Kush popped up and it was SO GOOD, we came here twice! Had fried Alligator bites, so delicious we ordered another and I had this grilled chicken salad with iceberg lettuce and a delicious hard cider. I love the vibe, it felt like a NYC place out in Miami and the decor reminded me of things I love like Kelly and Zack from Saved by the Bell on the bathroom door as well as R2D2 and C3PO. Loved it and the prices weren’t too shabby either. When I go back to visit and explore, I’ll definitely find my way back here!

Best burgers!!! I love that EVERYTHING is made from scratch including all condiments. It’s super small and the outdoor dining is unfortunately on a busy intersection but would take that any day for the quality of food & service!!!

J
Joe Martinez

The burgers were cooked perfectly (medium). I tried a side of grilled mushrooms; they had amazing flavor. The staff and vibe couldn’t have been better. They had a huge selection of craft beers too.

I absolutely love the restaurant Kush. It’s a little hole in the wall spot in Wynwood. The Frita burger (with guava inside!!!) is the best thing to order there and it was named one of the top 50 burgers in the US! Their fries are delicious and alligator bites for appetizer are flavorful and unique. The place is tiny so it has a wait sometimes but it’s definitely worth a try.

I’m a big fan of this place! Johnny Utah is the best burger in my opinion, but all that I’ve tried so far are amazing! They also have a lot of craft beers that are quite interesting.

WYNWOOD MIAMI, FL – When you are craving a burger like no other, Kush is the place you gotta run to! . Voted by locals and travelers alike, Kush ranks as one of the coolest spots for beer and burgers in Miami for their consistent quality, service and culinary creativity. . Their burgers are made with high-quality beef and the results are an amazing, mouth-watering juicy experience with a fantastic flavor. And their fries are crunchy, tasty and soft inside. . Service is fast and friendly in a small, intimate, chill and friendly space which shows a dope décor and style. The 90s are alive here. . Some of the most popular choices to enjoy are The Frita burger, The Johnny Utah burger, the Vegan Jambalaya and for starters try the Alligator bites or the black bean dip with sweet potatoe fries. The guava jelly added to the burgers give it a nice, delicious touch. . Also, don’t forget to try one or two glasses of their craft beer – all are fantastic and go down smooth. . If you’re ever in Wynwood Miami, you’ve gotta get your Kush on. . • DΛVΞ GΛRCIΛ™ Experiences: ★★★★★ BRAND: KUSH 2003 N MIAMI AVE MIAMI FL (@kushhospitality) TEXT & PHOTOS: DΛVΞ GΛRCIΛ™ (@davegarciahq). This place had delicious food and drinks, had a fun atmosphere and was incredibly relaxed. Definitely would recommend the captain kush beer if you had to pick something new. Also hands down one of the best chicken and waffles I've had and the gator bites were fire.

KUSH was my wife and I’s first stop when we arrived in Miami before heading to our final destination in Miami Beach. It’s a small intimate space inside with plenty of decor and style. Server was very attentive and polite. She gave us great service and gave us recommendations on the different foods that people tend to get. She was very helpful! We started with the Hobo Frito Pie (not pictured) it was amazing. I definitely recommend that for starters. For my meal I got the Frita burger with sweet potatoes fries, this burger was cooked to perfection and the guava jelly added a nice sweetness to the burger so I didn’t need to add ketchup. I washed it down with a nice draft beer of Kaptain Kush. A nice beer that goes down smooth. I also had a draft beer of the Dime Piece, same as the Kaptain Kush. A nice beer that goes down smooth. I highly recommend both draft beers! Oh yeah! your check comes out in an old dvd movie case which is different! This place is awesome!

Good food and good service. My wife picked out the restaurant and did not realize it was marijuana inspired. There are a number of kush inspired/infused meals and the rest looks like great farm to table style meals. Come give them a try.

The restaurant is not very big, but the food is great! They have delicious gator bites and on the menu they have notes about which burgers are the top rated ones. I went with the family and had the "best burger in Miami" and it was one of the best that I've tried. The sweet potato fries and regular fries were both really good. Overall a great experience.

We’ve been here before and every time has been great. Due to the times we are experiencing they now have more tables outside which is a good option. Ambiance is amazing and their food is even better, we tried the Fried Conch Sandwich, Pork Tostones, Florida Alligator bites and Classic Burger all paired with Gulfstream Dr. Dank (IPA) and Wynwood Father Francisco. Lucy was our waiter and she took great care of us. This location is amazing, you can walk to most of the other places in Wynwood from here. I really liked this place, it feels a bit like something between a trucker cafe and a hipster lounge, but in a good way, don't know how to explain, but great art on the walls. The girl who helped us was really sweet and helped us select a great beer and a yummy black cherry lemonade and served us a great home made key lime pie. It was a bit on the sweet side but that might be just me, the taste was great. It's a great place to hang out to have a beer and pie after checking out the street art in the wynwood neighborhood.

Killer food, great beer, awesome service. Really hard place to beat. My partner enjoyed the vegan jambalaya and I LOVED their famous burger (forgot the name?). Alligator bites were on point and black bean dip was fiiiire. Worth every penny!

Great atmosphere. Food is really good, burger and veggie burger, along with small salad and fries. Beers were excellent too, with a great selection. Totally recommend it!

We ordered Alligator bites and the Frita burger. The Alligator bites were delicious, even my baby loved it. The Frita burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life 😆 I actually forgot to take a picture of the burger but I promise it won't disappoint

Great food and great service. The Johnny Utah burger was so delicious and of course had a couple Dr Dank beers to wash it down. Also got to try some Zuni Employee meal salad, and it was delicious, kept thinking it's weird to grilled romaine lettuce but it came out nicely.

When you come here it must be for a good vibes, and good drinks because the food is mostly just okay. I tried their chicken sandwich, two of their most popular burgers, and even tried their chicken and waffles. The selection of beers sampled for probably the best part of this dining experience, easily had one of the best beers I’ve ever had. The staff is also uberly friendly and attentive. I had such a great time here in this environment that I almost forgot about how disappointing the food was. Overall 6.4/10

Good solid food, great selection of beers, and the key lime pie is legendary. Small indoor space and a couple outdoor picnic tables. It’s a loud bar-type atmosphere. Not the best place for kids, but otherwise is a really good burger and beer joint a little off the beaten path. A little high on prices, but generous portions and quality food.

Cool casual spot for some burgers and beer. We ordered the Johnny Utah and Frita by Kush burgers, as well as the Florida alligator bites. Good taste and quite the hearty portions. The service from the staff was also exceptionally great — super friendly and funny. Overall, we had a fun experience here.

Very cool place! The atmosphere is casual and comfy. Their beer selection is great, and the staff are friendly. We tried their IPA as well as their alligator bites. The beer was delicious. The alligator bites were very flavorful, especially with the old bay seasoning and the 2 dips they gave. I wish there was a little more alligator, though.

Dive bar vibes in Wynwood! They don't take reservations and can get busy at night. They are known for their burgers and have some of the best in the city! Even one of them (Frita) made it on a list of one of the best burgers in the USA! Not too bad for a relatively unassuming place. The Frita is well-known and pretty popular and comes with guava jelly that gives it an extra oomph. Well cooked and just a real tasty burger that's cooked well. We got it with a side of sweet potato fries and was perfect. For apps, we went with their Portobello Bites. Good flavor profile and paired with a creamy aioli sauce for dipping. Nice presentation too. For dessert, we got their Banana Cream Pie. Super delish too! It had great texture with some chocolate bites and was well-balanced. Good stuff!

It's a tiny spot with an almost moody intimate atmosphere. Food was decent. The caveat- they put a 15% tip on the bill automatically. They don't explain that unless you ask. I don't agree with doing that because tipping is optional- not mandatory. Servers were super nice. If I had to go again I wouldn't mind.

We sat outside and enjoyed the weather while waiting for our waitress she was very chill and sweet , the food was delicious. We tried their hobo frito chilli pie (not a fan of sweet chilli but loved the fresh wild onions ) and the grilled cheese which was refreshing and light. Also tried their chicken and waffles !!! Omg never really cared for this dish but we got it n I have to say the Siracha maple syrup is Devine. not realizing it was spicy till after I took a bite , I had to take home left overs because we also tried the guava jelly burger and that was also pretty good but the chicken and waffles was the cherry on top of my meal

Tried alligator bites taste like fish. Also the chicken and waffle are really good. I've tried the employee meal salad with tomatoe soup. The salad was delicious, had asparagus, red, yellow peppers, chicken, cheese, mushrooms, it was great. The soup was a little salty but tasteful.

Alvaro H. Torres

Tasty delicious burgers and good craft beer. I had the frita burger with guava and sweet potatoes fries. A little over price but premium quality of food and beer does not come cheap. The burger it's cook at your temperature liking or preference. It's a really cozy spoke and if it get busy it will be hard to find a seat. It's worth check it out. My brother had the jalapeño burger and he said it was not too over spicy and enjoy it. I will return for the burgers and why not have a beer along with it. I recommend it

The food is nice. Same as service. However the owner should invest a little bit more on the infrastructure. I know rustic is very trendy in the Wynwood area. Maybe add 3 more fans outside so customers don't suffer with the Miami heat.

Go to this place to try gator bites. It is fantastic . Avoid key lime pie as it’s nothing worth the price they ask. Gator bites: This was fried to perfection and the sauces were also great. Key lime pie: Felt nothing different from what you get from anywhere else. A bit overrated.

M
Michael Edwards

AMAZING food and a menu that has a little of everything. We started with the Gator Bites and those were perfect with the sauced but gone in seconds. I ordered the Kush and Hash which is like a breakfast burger and got it with a normal bun. One of the best i have ever had. Major downside is location and seating. All outdoor and you’re right along this busy street where the cars love to fly by. And once the food comes out the flies get bad

I went to Kush with a friend last night and we had a good time. Beer was good and cheap (4-5$), my classic burger with bacon was good and my friend’s veggie tacos as well. Chips and guac were ok, not so tasty. The place is quite small and usually packed.

Went here to KUSH and the food was good. I liked the alligator bites more than I liked the burger, burger was ok. Portions are generous, beer selection is nice, overall an enjoyable experience.

This is a great spot with a well executed menu. The servers are knowledgeable of the menu and make great recommendations. It's a small space with indoor/outdoor seating and limited free parking. The beers are wonderful. The Frita burger and Conch sandwich are magnificent and their in house dips are a good compliment the the dishes. I'm glad I found this spot!!👍👍

Recomiendo.

This place is a great little hangout with some pretty awesome beers. The gator bites were definitely my favorite. Excellent flavor and nice pieces of gator meat. However, I had very high expectations for the burgers. Personally they seemed average to me. I ordered a double cheeseburger with with just American cheese, onions, and ketchup, mustard &mayo. I wanted to taste the quality of the meat before I went with a crazy burger with all kinds of stuff on it. To me, the quality wasn’t there. After speaking with a lot of people who love the burgers here I was informed that the quality started going down after they opened other locations.

Small little hole in the wall.I just wanted a plain burger and fries. Should have been more specific on the plain cause when it came out looking like a whopper with tomatoes, lettuce, onion, mayo etc on it. they have some really good alligator bites. So overall the food was pretty good here.

F
Fred Hardwell

This place looked promising. Great selection of micro brews. Had a couple and they were good beers. Ordered the Frita burger. Can't comment on the taste because the burger was dry. Got it medium well. I would try it again, but I'll definitely get the burger medium.

P
Patrick Smith

Ordered the Frita Burger Medium and the Alligator Bites. Well the burger came out medium well and for supposedly being the 52nd ranked burger of America I didn't feel it was anything special. The alligator bites were good but nothing to die for. The beet salad was a no go. Beer options were fair and reasonable.

S
Sasha

The pub has a cozy vibe and friendly staff, but they take 'generosity' to a whole new level by preloading a 20% service charge, then politely nudging you for an extra tip and a donation. With beer prices high enough to make you consider drinking water, you'll leave lighter in the wallet but with a funny story to tell.

C
Cata Lina

Service is good. There was a cockroach on our table and we weren’t able to get it out and no one helped. When the waiter found it on our fork she threw it on the floor, killed the roach, and walked away. Didn’t offer to change our utensils, or make the situation better. The food was average. I had the gator tacos and the tacos were soggy, could not enjoy it.

A
ANN ATMAN

So far the worst place in Wynwood that I have been. 1) super slow and bad service; 2) food - nothing special. Small portions; 3) dirty place; 4) they are not allowing small dogs inside so we had to eat literally on the road. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 💯
