That's my son favorite restaurant. They have the best mariquitas con mojo!
We celebrate my 80th birthday with family and friends, Sabier, the manager took excellent care of everything, the food, the service outstanding. We were a group of 22 and everyone was happy.

Been going for years. Good quality food, fair prices, good service
Excellent service excellent people excellent food and excellent coffee I go there about 3 times a day and I love it
Excellent food, fair prices on food, and very good service.
The best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Been there several times and will continue to dine there.
Really good experience tbh
Great meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great atmosphere and service. All staff very attentive. We appreciate Lazaro, Odalys and others. We've been going for years.
The food is amazing and the service is excellent. The servers are friendly and treat you like family. I recommend it to everyone.
One of my favorite cuban restaurant, big portions, attentive service y calm atmosphere 👌
Epic place. Service is okay, but the food is godly. If you wanna be filled from some nice Cuban eating and have a while to spare, stop by this place
I've been here many times and it's a good restaurant. The prices are still affordable.
Casual restaurant, very polite young waitress. Food abundant with good price. Great solo singer on Fridays. Outdoor atmosphere great even without a great view.
Very good menu, and big portions, very tasty. Really recommend it.
The food is oh so good. No complaints. Service was very good. The fried garbanzos are delicious!!
I love this place. Great and delicious cuisine . Good prices and quantity. Awesome costumer service and a very clean place.
Nice place to just sit and relax. Coffee is good and the "pan con biftec" is good a little difficult to maneaveur. I suggest to ask for cutlery. The staff was friendly.
Excellent place , fast staff and service, and great food.
Delicious bread nice and hot and butter, food is really good and their coffee. Good service.
Excellent food and service. We have been there a few times already and consistently great. Reasonable prices too. Forget Carreta and all the Latin Americans! Our new go-to latin restaurant.
Wonderful meal! First time trying Cuban food, our waiter was very helpful even though we butchered the names of the dishes. Food itself was delicious. Definitely recommended!
Good food good portions, fast delivery
Great food all the time. But the customer service usually isn't the greatest. But the food has never let me down which is why we continue to go back.
Nice place take food and some drinks , love it and the attention is excellent , with Natalia is so nice attention and make so easy to take stress out , tank you so much , recommend 100 x100 this girl.
Food was great and the service was fast and friendly. It has a very nice atmosphere and even has outside dinning
I love this place !!! Food is delicious and a bit pricey what is not pricey nowadays!!! I recommend chicken cordon bleu , calamari , beans, steak , ect. It’s barely ever full so it’s a perfect spot to host a family dinner
We order from here once a week. Let’s just say we look fwd to it. The food is great and the attention is amazing.
We went as a family so there were 8 of us. Sat right away with no issues. We started with the sampler platter and OH MY GOODNESS. It was fantastic. Had a bit of everything and all of it was delicious. The masitas de cerdo, tamal, chicharrón de pollo were my favorites. Also the croqueta was the best I have ever had. For my entree, I got the churrasco and it was fantastic. Also the vaca frita was delicious. I've been to Miami about 5 times and my in-laws are from Miami and we all agreed it was probably the best Cuban food we have ever had!
Have been coming to this place for years. This is a real gem. They have a great dining room which is great for a quiet dinner. They serve up a nice mojito and the Cuban food is superb. Not fair that people leave bad reviews because people smoke in the OUTDOOR patio. If smoking bothers you as it does me, eat inside. In Florida smoking is not legal inside restaurants so it is normal for those who smoke to eat outside. Don’t judge the restaurant for something they can’t really control...
My favorite place,I go every morning with my 4 years old daughter, the ladies already know my order and they make it perfect! Now when it comes to the night shift not so much! Do not recommend going after 2:30pm other than that is a very nice family oriented environment
Great restaurant. We had dinner with the family. The food is very tasty. The service is excellent - many thanks to the charming waitress from Cuba, Anne!
The food was good but the service was stellar. We ate outside and the young lady that helped us was superb. She was handling the tables outside along with the outside cafe. We will definitely come back and hope to have her assist us again. I was celebrating my friend's birthday and the Vaca frita was a special treat for my friend. Excellent and highly recommended.
First time eating here //// 3days ago I asked food for pickup (to go)... Ropa vieja/ moros/ boniato hervido.. .. it was super.. food was good.. portion/ hot /flavor on point.. no complaints,.... I'll b back..
Love this restaurant in our community! Lakes of the meadows it’s fortunate to have a local restaurant right in our community! Great service and food delish
La Giraldilla Restaurant is a few minutes from our home. There has never been a time my husband and I have eaten at this establishment that anything was bad! Their service is good, more so the food is excellent!!! The only arroz con pollo I’ve ever enjoyed, their steaks are cooked just right. I highly recommend this establishment for any time of day meal.
Good Cuban/Spanish inspired cuisine. The indoor seating area can get chilly, so bring a light jacket/sweater. You can sit outside; there are tables with umbrellas/parasols, but it is also the smoking section, so from time to time, you can smell cigarette smoke... and please don't feed the wild birds in the area. I had a French Onion Soup, which was par for the course. Chicken breast with rice and beans is excellent - one of the best I've had in recent history! Plantain chips and garlic sauce was also delicious. The flan is very good and decent size; Vanilla Ice cream comes with chocolate syrup-- also delicious. However, the coffee is served in Styrofoam cups. 🫤 The service was excellent. They were very patient with us as we changed seating from the cold indoors to the smoking section to the blistering sunny section to the shaded outdoor section.
After coming back from a Cruise out of Tampa, decided to visit some friends in Miami..... we met at our loved "La Giraldilla"... I used to live right across the street (Bird Road).... great food... great enviroment.... la VACA FRITA!!! mmmmmmmmm las MASITAS DE PUERCO!! mmmmmmm ALL GREAT.... missing you guys... Charlotte has nothing like you. 100% Recommended.
I went to get my chicken soup from here this week because I wasn't feeling well and it was the right decision to make since it was so tasty and affordable price. They serve breakfast until 11 outside but then after 11 you can go and eat inside. They have tables and chairs outside and the service was excellent. My soup was very, very, very delicious!
Great place to eat and to relax the customer service isn't bad, but they take to long to attend you.
This is a great place, and outside sitting love it.
the beef empanadas used to keep bringing me back.
Friendly neighborhood restaurant with nice terrace for outdoor sitting.
I had an amazing lunch experience at Giraldilla. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. Daiver the server was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our meal and drinks was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended !
This restaurant is very Cuban traditional with excellent flavor Services outstanding and the people there we're very friendly highly recommended to come and visit
Delicious food, great service and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy.
Very good service. The breakfast they serve is top notch!!
Even though I would rate this particular visit as 5 🌟, the restaurant doesn't look like much. We would have to go a couple more times to really say.
Ordered chicken on mushrooms sauce. It was very tasty. Loved it.
Food is very good for a reasonable price. Has a very nice outdoor area with umbrellas and a canopy. The service sometimes is a little slow, but the food is worth it.
Communication between staff for pick up isn’t much. Picked up order and I guess I can only deal with the one I ordered with?
Food was good... fair prices... excellent customer service... but .... ambient music was AWFUL !!!! .... only Regueton !!! Not any other type of music... that's not the type of music you are supposed to enjoy in a nice and good Restaurant.
Is a very nice place to dine in. Classic and delicious Cuban cuisine. The staff is very attentive. Keep up the good job.
Good food, nice outdoor cafe, My husband is addicted to their coladas. Miami sandwich is my favorite. Service can be slow if busy but always nice.
Great Place for a quick bite of Cuban Food.
Food was good, ( the sangria was amazing) service excelente but needs music on weekends to lighten up the atmosphere.
This place is great to get a good Cuban plate. It’s no Islas Canarias, but the service is decent, the food is very good and it’s typically pretty quiet. They have daily specials that make your choice pretty simple, plus anything else you might like. Pretty good.
Bring the music back ! There used to be music in the outside while you grab something quick or while eating . Smoking shouldn’t be allowed while people are eating outside.I hasn’t ate in the restaurant but the service is ok outside.
Went for breakfast. Sat outside. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Love there casa papa's...
Food was good, but place was dirty and outdated. The windows had bugs and dust from months. They should pay more attention to having the place clean, because food was actually very good.
The food it was ok but the service not very good i ask 3 diferent waitres to bring me a soda
Too expensive for us. Just paid $12 for soup.
Food was good, or you could say "ok"... I thought it was gonna have better taste.. Moro rice was kind of simple and i asked for a medium rare churrasco that came medium well.. Almost well done... Server was very nice, that was good..
I only ever come for the coffee which is normally good. I would rather go other places but the people I hang out with like this place. the women who work here are awesome sometimes and terrible other times. it's just another Cuban cafe place with regular Miami service
The food was good but the attention they gave us was not so good. We did a group meeting and they took a long time to bring the food and the waitresses forgot to bring ours drinks. They needed to be prepared before a big group arrives to the restaurant. Bad party planning.
Congri, masita de puercos, crema de langosta was good. Order those. Bistec de palomilla, crema de Malanga, limonada natural and croquetas were ok. CLub sandwhich could have been great if it had mayo or dressing. Those small sandwiches are big. Good choice overall. 4 adults. 1 child. 1 appetizer. 3 meals. 2 soups. 1 natural juice. $126 with tip.
This restaurant is a great place to unwind after a long day or simply enjoy a latte with croquettes. They have tables outside the restaurant. Because of the location in the mall, it’s windy most of the time. My husband and I went a few days ago. I felt like eating French onion soup. The soup looked very good. However, I found it very salty.
Horrible, the steak empanizado was like a sheet of paper wrapped in tasteless flour need much improvement 4 so much money paid.
I usually visit this place since I work in the same plaza. Some waiters are nice, some other no very nice.... pastries , croquets, sandwiches are ok, regular food is horrible. Service , it depends who is there, some people are not good to work for the public.
The soup here is so bad, it looks and tastes like canned soup. Gave it two stars because the service is really good.
Service was rude and uninviting
Have a nice outside patio where customers can eat. Unfortunately smoking is allowed and decreases what can be an amazing experience of sitting outside and eating. No thought is given to customers who have health conditions triggered by cigarette smoking and the inside is not open until 11 am. What a shame...
I ordered fried fish chunks, calamari and French fries. Everything was tasty, but the fried fish chunks were rather limp, not crispy at all. The fish chunks were $13....way overpriced for the amount you get. Served with a cocktail sauce but no lemon or lime wedges. I was expected a better presentation and quality, and more fish for the price charged. This was my second time eating here. The first time was when they first opened and I wasn’t that impressed then either. I think they have potential but need to work on their high prices and step up their service.
Wanted to try this restaurant, there is a new one opening a few blocks from home, so we went to the original. Prices are reasonable, the service slow althoughit was empty, but the food is another matter. My wife ordered fufu wrapped in pork, which was not bad, but the sauce was overpowering and way too sweet. I got the fried pork chunks that were too salty. To top it all, my mom ordered fried chicken that was also salty, and raw, a nice ruby color. I am always wandering how a restaurant can stay open for this long serving this so called food. I spoke to the "acting manager" which confirmed ours was not the only complaint she had had about the salt. When I mentioned the raw chicken she apologized, but said that my mother ate half the serving, so she could not give us any credit. Lesson learned. I will not be visiting the new branch and I wish them the best. I also recommend they keep a good lawyer in retainer.
Well I waited outside sitting at a table ignored by a waitress serving two tables, I change to another table where the sun was hitting me, she did notice but I have toI called her she saw me again and said I'll be with you, waited another 20 minutes I went inside, waited at the entrance, same treatment, waitress talking behind a counter, I went to asked them to be sit, one of them sat me at a booth when she finished talking, and left, 10 minutes later another one brought the menu and didn't come back for another 15 minutes, she served another customer that got there after I did, called her again and finally got my order, I didn't left because I was waiting for my son, the food took forever to get to us, there were only 4 tables occupied inside, almost empty that restaurant, outside like 15 tables only two we're being served, I saw about 8 waitresses but they were busy talking to each other, I guess in the kitchen is the same, I was wondering why this beautiful restaurant is so empty, well I got my answer. I will never return. First time there that did it for me.
First Visit . Great Service, But the Prices Don’t Match the Portions I came for lunch with my family for the first time, and while the service was excellent, the food portion compared to the price was disappointing. Our waitress was extremely nice, polite, and attentive — truly the highlight of the visit. However, the prices felt high for the quantity of food we received. I ordered a pan con lechón and ended up returning it because the bread was huge but there were only maybe two small pieces of lechón inside, plus a lot of onions. For what they charge, I expected a much more generous portion. Great service, but the value just wasn’t there. Unfortunately, it’s a no for me based on the portion sizes.
Ownership must have changed, have been going for years however food this time 2/2025 completely different. The same food I've purchased for years this time was dry, dehydrated, tasteless and burnt. Completely unbeatable the fried chick pea We also purchased another plate chicken fricassee meal which had no flavor just tasted like cilantro. They are not the cheapest in town but the food this time was horrible worse than food by pound, it made sick just tasting it. Explains why place was empty & only window coffee pastries customers. For us the last time, sorry 😞 they had a good run, time to revamp or close.
Second time my toast burned now my pan con Lechón they need to be more careful now I can't eat it so that means no lunch for me
Love the food but I guess bringing to light the fact that smoking is a health hazard for some means semi good customer service.
Says opens at 7. Here at 7:15 and shutters still closed. Running on Cuban time. Couldn’t get coffee
We had a large order for our Halloween party and they asked for cc info to proceed with the order. Don’t ever give your credit card over the phone to them. Not even for a large order! Apparently we did and someone from the staff had someone pick up our order. Charged us half and the other half was also charged without asking for id when the person arrived. He also added a beer to our tab .And apparently he’s a regular there and goes to eat with his son (wow what an example for your son!) Wasn’t asked for the credit card or id to charge the card. We had to call the police because the owner was refusing to give us refund. Luckily when the police arrived, he had to give us the refund. The owner and staff are horrible. I’ll never order from them again nor will I step foot there. We used to be regulars there but seeing how the owner behaved, never again!! Tremendo equívocado!!!!!!!! They don’t deserve not even 1 star!
Nice place and normal service. I stop visiting this place when I checked their poor reviews in food inspections. Mi segunda visita depues de un año. Anteriormente había dado tres estrellas ahora go to one. Very poor customer services. They do not even put the bread. Waiter eating next table and do not have the courtesy to ask if everything was OK. Just take the order then come back with the bill. This place is in decline. Do not go. There are plenties of better restaurantsin the neighborhood. Never back again
Today I pass by the outside window to buy something to eat , and it is a shame that the two ladys working there don't even say goodmorning I was the only one at that moment and they keep talking between there ignoring me standing in front of both. I wait for a moment since there lack of education I walk away without buy anything. Hope that change soon because food has good quality.
I really don’t have much to say other than I was at the window outside and they change this old man $4.25 for one empanada that’s just wrong poor man was surprised the outrage me too is just crazy..
Waiters are not nice, cold coffee when the restaurant it wasn't in a rush time, croquetas not good at all. And forget about the breakfast. If I will going back? No, I got treated better at any other restaurants.
On Sundays, I usually buy crema de langosta but today I was disappointed. As usual, I ordered to be picked up and when I arrived home with the Crema all I had was agua de langosta con color amarillo. So upset, straight to the trash.
Let's be clear, the food is good, if you can get someone to serve you.. This is referring to outside dining. I sat at my table for fifteen minutes before I got up and ordered my drink, the waitress, one of two, was texting on her phone, mind you there are five tables occupied out of probably 15. When I ordered the drink I told her where I was sitting in case she needed anything, of course this i said in Spanish, but she didn't get it. I went back to the counter to order my second beer, and the food that a took as takeout instead of dine in, I told her I originally wanted to dine in but after an hour of no service, and the fact that I was dark, I wold take it to go.
Terrible food , and asked for a cortadito at the end and I thought was a joke cuz the coffee came even worse than the food , terrible just terrible experience , place is calm though.
Horrible! Waiting 45 minutes for our food my snapper was hard and chewy. The server had the nerve to charge for it!
We have been loyal customers of La Giraldilla for many years, both at the restaurant and the cafeteria. Sadly, after our experience on Father’s Day, we will never return. We arrived as a family of four to have breakfast and were initially greeted with water and menus. However, after that, we were completely ignored for approximately 40 minutes, until the owner noticed our frustrated looks toward the kitchen. Only then did a server take our order. Soon after, we received orange juice, tostadas, and café con leche. The rest of our meal, croissants and eggs, was supposedly coming “right after.” Thirty more minutes passed. Our coffee went cold. My sons finished what little they had. No one came by to check on us or explain the delay. I eventually got up and told the waiter we were leaving. I offered to pay for what we had consumed, but not for the items that never arrived. When he informed the owner, I saw the man (whom I later found out was the owner) say from the kitchen: “No, they’re not leaving. If they ordered, they have to pay for it.” That’s when things escalated. I approached the waiter and insisted we would not pay for food that was never served. The owner then came out and, in a loud, disrespectful manner, repeated that we had to pay. He offered no apology, no explanation, only hostility. Then he said, “Don’t pay. But don’t ever come back to my restaurant.” He didn’t need to say it twice—we had already made that decision. It’s deeply disappointing that what was meant to be a joyful Father’s Day turned into such a disrespectful experience. We may not have lost much, but La Giraldilla has lost loyal customers. And we will be sure to share this story so others are aware of how poorly we were treated on what should have been a special day.
The food quality had been declining for Months. Today, the steaks were greasy, no flavor for any of the sides. Will no longer be eating here.
