La Terrazza Rooftop Bar & Grill Miami Reviews
Rooftops are a hard sell for Miamians. We love the view, we hate the elements. Actual rooftop weather is fleeting—about five minutes in January, if we’re being honest—unless you happen upon one of those few and far between places that offer a year-round option, one that’s covered and preferably air-conditioned. Enter La Terrazza, Fiola’s upstairs lounge, bar and restaurant that serves an Italian menu in a relaxed, al fresco setting. Head there on Sunday afternoon for a delightful jazz brunch—think a lively band playing to a packed (and air-conditioned!) rooftop, spritzes flowing and a Bloody Mary Cart doling out freshly made brunch cocktails on demand. Follow our lead and make yours a surf-and-turf with a skewer of bacon and shrimp. Unlike most brunches these days, this one is á la carte, allowing guests to choose from a selection of raw bar items, breakfast dishes and various types of pasta. You’ll want to ease into the experience with a refreshing Venetian Spritz and something from the raw bar menu: think a half-dozen Oysters with shallot and escabeche mignonette; Cobia Ceviche with leche de tigre, crispy chickpeas and red onions; and Hamachi Crudo with mandarin segments, red endives, shaved celery and cerignola olives. Silence the voice in your head telling you not to fill up on bread and dive into the warm, toasted Sullivan Bakery Loaf as soon as it hits the table. You won’t regret a single calorie, especially if you’re lucky enough to get yours with a side of caviar as we were. Look around you’ll see the Double-cut Bacon swinging on several tables and want to order your own clothesline of pork to share. Just do it. Brunch entrees run the gamut from light, like the Swordfish Milanese with fried egg on top to you’ll-need-a-post-meal-nap, including Fettuccine Carbonara, Lasagna and Eggplant Parmesan. The Panettone French Toast was an unexpected dish that could work both as an entree or a shareable dessert. It’s served with an orange blossom marmalade, pistachio zabaglione and Vermont maple syrup. Though if that doesn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, Fiola’s Grand Chocolate Cake will do it. The massive, $36 (!) slice features layers of Piemontese Gianduja ganache and hazelnut streusel and is served with a scoop of fior di latte gelato. Perhaps the most impressive thing about brunch is the massive outdoor kitchen built exclusively for La Terrazza. Servers aren’t running plates between Fiola and the rooftop so everything you’re getting upstairs is fresh, warm and meant to be enjoyed outdoors without any of the inconveniences of actually eating outside.
We had a great dinner. One of the best in Miami for sure. The experience, the service, the food, the view, THE DRINKS, THE MUSIC hahahahah was a top night. Thanks to Chris 👍🏼 and all the Fiola Crew👏🏼 great as usual! We’ll be back !!!! Love it!
Went to La terrazza 2 weeks ago for the first time, now I can’t stop coming back. The food and drinks are absolutely outstanding, along with a beautiful rooftop view and amazing vibes. Definitely recommend! 🤩😋

Such a memorable dining experience I had at La Terrazza Bar & Grill from the views, to the ambiance, the food and absolutely amazing service and drinks. Top notch all the way. I cannot wait to go back and bring friends and family!
La Terrazza is a very special place. Words cannot describe the view of the sunset from the rooftop (if you are lucky enough to catch it!). The overall atmosphere, coupled with the menu, live music and service, is something you must experience! Highly recommend. 10 out of 10 in my book!

First-time visiting Saturday night. We had a great time! Our bartenders were Diego and Chris and they were amazing. We laughed and stayed until they closed. We had such a great time and will visit again! Highly recommend if you are in the area and want to grab a drink or some food! Diego made me one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Ask for him
I frequent this restaurant regularly, and each visit reaffirms my positive impressions. The attentive staff, led by a hands-on manager who personally checks on tables, ensures a welcoming atmosphere. The food consistently meets high standards, boasting freshness that never disappoints. While it aligns with the restaurant's usual excellence, the overall experience is a testament to their commitment to quality service and delicious cuisine.
We had a spectacular dinner. Service was great. Pedro and Juan were our servers. Very professional and attentive. Prices very reasonable. I must say that the manager Pat Bush was always checking in on our experience. We cannot say enough. I highly recommend this roof top restaurant.
The place from the decor, service to every bite and drink was amazing! The sliders are the most amazing I’ve had, and e everything else. The Good Morning Nino, personally greeted us as he did with all the tables and made us feel special. He goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy . The servers Chris was amazing as well! Great vibe . The hostess a khyara was also exceptional and made sure we felt comfortable where we were seated. Amazing view, food, service and atmosphere! A must go to and must return! ❤️
La Terraza is an exceptional place! The manager, Pat, and his team delivered outstanding service. Their attention to detail made my experience truly memorable. What sets this place apart is the opportunity to savor a delicious meal while enjoying a cigar outdoors a rarity and a reminiscent of my European travels. Highly recommended for a unique and delightful dining experience!

One of the rooftop restaurants to try in Miami. The food is amazing with great atmosphere.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, easy valet parking, & super friendly staff. However, if you are going to charge the prices that are prevalent throughout the menu they need to provide much better service. Our waiter was fantastic but he was overwhelmed with the number of tables he was covering. He was taking orders, serving drinks, pouring wine, bringing food, and clearing tables with very little help. The restaurant is clearly lacking staff while at the same time charging super premium prices. The food & drinks were good but not great which I could have accepted given the great atmosphere but better service would have been in order. Personally I am getting tired of dining at upscale restaurants, paying these sort of prices, and walking away shrugging my shoulders with no urgency to return.
Had Valentine’s Day dinner here and was a bit disappointed. Took 20 minutes for our waiter to greet us. Consistently out of water the whole dinner. I don’t know why they don’t just give you a pitcher of water for your table. It literally makes it easier for everybody if that is done. Bolognese was 2/10 to be honest. Nice place and views but not great service or food.

They had many food and the service was great it was just the food me and my mom got. We shared pizza and the pizza tasted worse then dominoes that how bad the pizza was.

Pretty overpriced for cheap-tasting, mediocre food. Dinner for 2 (with 2 cocktails, 2 appetizers, bread, entrees and 1 glass of wine) was more than $350. The Crab Meat Stuffed Ohshi Shrimp ($48), for instance, included 4–just 4–medium sized shrimp topped with a little bit of breaded crab meat and half a lemon. It wasn’t bad…but it is the sort of dish (in terms of style, quality and portion) that you’d expect to be served on an international flight. Not terrible, just horrifically overpriced. The inside decor is pretty cool, but restaurant was blasting music so loud it was hard to have a conversation. I didn’t love the fact that they had a big TV going showing basketball game and a ton of commercials, kinda makes the atmosphere less like a nice restaurant and more like a casino buffet. The service was slow. We didn’t get our entrees for at least 1.5 hours after being seated. Glad we tried it; we probably won’t be coming back.
Terrible customer service, and worst yet, was the food... expensive and nonsense the quality of the food. Is better going to Costco and reheating the food, way better and cheaper. The only one thing nice was the lighting and the atmosphere... that's for people without culture wanna be, which probably have a lack of culture, money is not culture by the way. The servers shouldn't be there, lack of manners OMG, doesn't match the place the food and the service. You pay like a luxury, and they treat you Ike if you were asking for free... TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED NEVER RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE.

We arrived at this restaurant with great expectations. The view when you sit down is great. The weather had cooled off with some rain and a refreshing breeze blew throughout the restaurant. The warm bread that was brought to the table was excellent. The service was good. My water glass was constantly refilled. We all got drinks and our party of 9 adults a child and a baby were very content. The first issue was the menu at the restaurant does not match the menu online. There are no pasta dishes and the choices are fewer. The food took a while but then the sliced steaks arrived, they looked great. Then a commotion began at one end of our table. The 4 oz filet mignon that was ordered for my two year old grandson was very well done. He only eats rare steak. The waiter called the manager and what was a simple problem immediately escalated. He accused my daughter in law of eating half the steak. She explained that they had just cut into it and the steak the child was currently eating was from their sliced steak not the filet. She was completely insulted. He left to talk to the waiter and then came back and said we will remake it but we both know you ate half. This whole confrontation completely ruined the entire meal. There were other problems- the branzino was very fishy, and a steak that came late to the table was cold. These were minor issues that would have been overlooked. The problem was the attitude of the manager. At the end my son went to talk to him and I could see it was escalating the manager was agitated and waving his hands. I got up and walked over. He immediately accused me of getting in his face and that they had cameras. He was completely out of control. This man should not be allowed to manage any restaurant. This was the worst dining experience I have had in Miami and to my recollection the world. It is sad that a place with such great potential made such a bad decision in hiring this man. Red head with tattoos around his neck.
Worst experience I’ve had ever. I called to make a reservation 3 weeks before our 3rd year anniversary. I called the listed restaurant La terrezza roof top bar and grill and made a reservation for 7:30pm. The day prior to my reservation I got a reminder about the time and date. Perfectly fine until I get there, they tell me that someone bought out the entire rooftop bar and grill but never decided to bring this to my knowledge. According to them the phone number listed isn’t for the rooftop bar but for another restaurant that’s was unrelated to the spot I reserved. Terrible experience for a new customer to go through. Don’t bother !
Booked a reservation for the rooftop for a birthday dinner two weeks in advance. Got a call the day of reservation that the reservation had been canceled due to a private party. They only offered to move us inside. What a shame this is how this place treats its customers. Cancelling reservations to make money on a private party. They should have told their private party the rooftop is not available or cancelled the reservations much much earlier OR have offered something more for this inconvenience and disruptions of our plans. Not a way to do business. Stay away from this place. They may cancel on you as well. It’s not worth it. There are so many other places in Miami to choose from that treat their customers better. Good luck to this place to stay in business. I won’t be going back, referring customers, and actively telling this story In my community in the hopes others stay away too. Your private event is not worth this type of negative publicity. I’m sure others that got cancelled this night feel the same.
