Lilikoi Organic Living Miami Reviews
I’ve been coming to this spot since 2017 for fresh, clean, and healthy food. I always recommended it to others, and since moving to NYC, I truly miss it! But whenever I’m in town, I make sure to stop by for breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend! A special thank you to Silvana and Ignacio for being so sweet and helpful all week your kindness didn’t go unnoticed. The food, service, and staff are always amazing! Also, the chicken Brie sandwich is a must I’m obsessed! Please bring back the probiotic bowl! 🥺
Awesome little spot for brunch. Love an organic restaurant. We had the papaya with tahini and bee pollen and cacao nibs; what an innovative and tasty dish! We also enjoyed the kombucha fermented oats. Super cool. They also have more standard offerings like avocado toast. The coffee was also delicious.
Fantastic breakfast and lunch place in the best part of South Beach. It's quite overpriced (or small portions however you like to see it) but in exchange one gets to eat healthy and clean organic food in an again clean, beautiful, bright and comfortable setting with proper napkins. By the way, a lilikoi is a Hawaiian fruit, which, oddly, I don't think they serve!
Enjoyed my breakfast here. Egg with avocado toast and salmon toast was delicious. I also enjoyed the homemade banana bread with tahini sauce. Prices are high for breakfast but worth the splurge. I like the atmosphere here. It's quiet and the staff are friendly.
Nice quiet spot to have breakfast and lunch. Friendly staff. Self serve water in mason jars. Plenty of healthy options. Salads are very big. Be careful with papaya it comes served w a soup of tahini. We thought it would be more like a decorative drizzle across. Because of diet restrictions had to pour out the dressing. Beautifully decorated and will be back again. Desserts look interesting but didn’t try any this time.
Cute restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food…sad to see it go. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! My only complaint is the patrons allowing their dogs to roam the premises freely. One came up to my table licking around (yuck)!
We got lilikoi signature salad with grilled salmon, and hawian poke. For drinks we got the green detox and lemonade. This is a really good spot for very fresh food. The food is very clean and you feel really good after having this. We went for lunch. As well it has a great outdoor place to sit with fans, this is perfect for the hot weather in Miami Beach.
What can I say? The place is simply great and welcoming. Table sharing is an option here, as well as a more private one. You'll decide where to sit! Nice dinning room, absolutely clean. I didn't really like having to queue to order and pay before the service. Also, it take a bit of time to get served, which did not bother me as I had a lazy Saturday... maybe not always the case. Quality products, healthy food, original options. And reasonable prices. Dishes are nicely presented and portions generous. I missed some salt but decided not to ask for more...I think it's actually good to get the flavor from the produce themselves. healthier too! Espresso, fresh orange juice yeahhh, pinot noir and entree for around 40$ all included... A solid option for brunch. I'm in love. well done. Friendly staff. it's a 5 out of 5 to me. careful... parking is not easy to find in south point... you may prefer a taxi.
My go-to for an organic weekend meal. I sometimes order delivery on the weekdays. My favorites here are eggs Benedict, buckwheat noodle soup, probiotic bowl and Niçoise salad! Everything I tried here was delicious. They also make GF vegan desserts👌🏼
This place has the best açai in all of Miami, but the new remodel sucks. It looks like an evening place and it has an evening vibe but it’s only open till 3 PM and the food is very morning-organic-Café brunch. They should change it back to a café beach vibe because that’s what you come here for and that’s what the food is.
My first trip to Miami to bring in the New Years and I couldn't be more happy that my hotel was a 5 minute walk to this place! It's hard to be a health conscious foodie and eat clean and when you travel, but I found myself coming in for breakfast every day and got a good taste of their menu. Great positive energy when you walk in and everything is homemade (patience when waiting for your food, it's a labor of love!) on top of using fresh ingredients. Their juice concoctions, shooters, and coffee where a life saver after a long night of celebrating NYE :) Thank you for your business and I will be back for more!
Beautiful and comfy space for breakfast, brunch, lunch or an early dinner. All ingredients in the dishes are locally and organically sourced. Suitable for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free, pescatarians and omnivores. We ordered the papaya with tahini, bee pollen and cacao nibs, the probiotic bowl with house made Kimchi and the signature lemonade with ginger, mint, and local wildflower honey. All was superb and delicious. Thank you Lilikoi for such a fabulous meal!
Lilikoi is my absolute favorite place on the Beach. The Mahi Mahi burger with potato, kale cesar ***** and sourdough pancakes are delicious and unbeatable. This place deserves the 5 stars big time. I could eat these meals everyday though a bit expensive but the quality is amazing so great value for your money. Service is also very friendly, cool and courteous.
Very savory food with different options for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. The staff is very friendly and it seems they are taking good care of sanitation measures. One of mi favorite places in South Miami Beach.
The food is unlike any other. Fresh, clean, and flavorful. The staff is very knowledgeable and hard working. It has become my new obsession. I feel clean and healthy after I have finished savoring every bite!
Great place if you want REAL, healthy, organic, non-gmo, and DELICIOUS food. Great Service, excellent ambiance, well decorated, perfect location in South Point. I highly recommend the Shrimp Coconut Curry Bowl! A MUST if you are in South Beach!!
Fantastic breakfast and lunch place in the best part of South Beach. It's quite overpriced (or small portions however you like to see it) but in exchange one gets to eat healthy and clean organic food in an again clean, beautiful, bright and comfortable setting with proper napkins. The only thing I would change so far are their horrendous cutlery. My palms literally bruise trying to use their unusually short knives designed most likely designed for elves. By the way, a lilikoi is a Hawaiian fruit, which, oddly, I don't think they serve!
I’ll definitely be returning here. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious! We ordered cappuccinos and the Nutella bread - delicious! We will be returning for breakfast or lunch because the food looked absolutely amazing!
Had Brunch on a fine Saturday and it's a pleasant surprise. Love the food here, I could feel it's fresh. The Coconut here is Amazing. I'm not sure how they source them, each Coconut has a lot of water and reminds me of my Homeland.😊
The friendly lady took her time to explain the menu and helped me to decide. We ordered the quinoa&hummus salad and the risotto, which both were delicious. We enjoyed our stay a lot. We got full and left satisfied. We would come again asap :) greets from switzerland!
This place is the hidden secret in South Beach, it’s possible hard too see from the road, but please go look for it as you are missing out. This place does everything well and the organic twist creates a flavor explosion with each bite, wow….Some of my personal favorites Coconut curry shrimp, Chicken burrito, Fish burger (Pita) with the great round mini potato’s. Portions are great to share, but it taste so good that you probably don’t like too :) PS, best health food source below fifth
So delicious! Good choice of organic dinner 😊 I had such a amazing carrot-ginger soup, gluten free pizza which was supriselly tasty and in the end a pumpkin cake. All this food was very tasty! Water is with cucumber and lemon touch what makes it even much better and anyways, was for free as much as u need. About prices, I can't say anything bad because for this quality, healthy choice and organic ingredients was adequate.. I post some photos of my food 😊
Delicious! The lemonade juice (organic) is a must try, has mint and ginger in it, very tasty! I had an avocado toast w eggs scrambled. It was very good. Not worth 62$ for 2. However, it was really good.
The food here is absolutely amazing! I love love love the variety of vegan options and that the food is organically sourced. I wish to-go orders consisted of less plastic packaging as I am trying to reduce my usage of single-use plastic and am always on the run.
If I could give this place six (6) stars, I would. Trying to find a delicious vegan or healthy restaurant wherever we travel is always a challenge. We discovered Lilikoi and decided to take a chance for dinner. Absolutely stupendous Eggs Benedict for me and Vegan Carbonara for my wife we served with a smile by the energetic hostess. Then, the suggestion for the vegan, passion fruit cheesecake was a winner indeed. We loved Lilikoi so much we came back the next day for lunch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My favorite place to eat in Miami. Beautiful people, food, and atmosphere. Organic & locally sourced food and lemon/cucumber infused Kangen water. Florencia and Francisco are an absolute joy. Couldn’t recommend enough.
First timers and the manager was very nice and courteous. Needed a healthy kick in the morning and I got what I needed. Definitely coming back to dine in.
This is the best place is sobe. It’s always our first stop when we get here. Everything is amazing and gluten/dairy free friendly. They always have up to date dishes. Açaí bowls and breakfast burritos are our go-to meals but the coffee and pastries are wonderful too!
The food was great! Really good menu.. Definitely a spot worth checking out. Our server Camila was awesome! She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Loved the vibe here, will definitely be back. 😊
We had an amazing experience at this place!! Nice ambiance/decor and delicious food. We got a smoked salmon bagel and a papaya bowl, and beet juice. Everything tastes and looks wonderful. The team of staff is so sweet and courteous; they truly live out the value of hospitality. When they found out that it was my mom’s birthday that day, they gave her a beautiful rose petal mini cake as a gift :) Would definitely come back again!
I came here during my vacation. Haven't been here before. I wanted to try healthier options. So i got acai bowl. My wife got lilikoi garden salad. Both meals were made perfect. So fresh and healthy. I see now why this place get a good reputation. I also tried some green smoothie that was so refreshing. Food is just amazing. Its that simple. But beside the food complete vibe and interior was superb very chill and relaxing atmosphere. And as for the service. Let me tell you about service. I have worked in customer sevice business my whole life, but this place is a new experience for me. When i say new experience i mean it. Our server was amazing, i think his name was Boyan( something like that, handsome bald fella with glases) .He was super helpful and he knew the menu and all the meals, therefore was easy for him to reccomend great dishes. Plus i had a keychain with jiujitsu on the table with me, and we also made few words about awesome martial art we both love. So yeah i loved the place, and i will be back.
What a great experience we had! The breakfast burrito was out of this world, the avocado toast was superb, and the oatmeal was amazing. Best brunch in Miami period!
Absolutely love this place! Love the healthy choices and both the service and the food was excellent! Kibo did a great job, enjoyed meeting him and the whole crew was super friendly and very attentive and professional! I highly recommend!
Such a little hidden gem in south beach! Healthy food for a good price. The environment is so nice, fresh pressed juices are delicious. A new favorite in south of fifth!
The vibe here is so cute! The manager is so kind and attentive and the food was amazing! I got the vegan kale salad and the portion was very big. All around great experience!
Beautifully redesigned! The food and service are still top notch. I dined here years ago and loved how fresh and tasty their Benedicts were, and I’m so happy they’re back!
The place is awesome. I ordered an omelette on Lupe's recommendation and it was incredible. Lupe was very attentive, kind and helpful. I will definitely be back again!
Absolutely the best in-house smoked salmon I’ve ever had. I ordered the Sous Vide Eggs Benedict. A true pleasure to get what you pay for. The gluten free bread was heavenly from first to the last bite. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Definitely a must have! And the ambiance is beautiful.
Very good gluten free and vegan options The inside is nice and relaxed good spot to grab a bite on the go or even a quick eat inside They have some outside tables as well Staff is friendly and inside has enough space to spread out I believe they are pet friendly as well Also nice location southern south Beach
Felicitaciones!!
I always love trying out a new restaurant and this one just opened a few weeks ago in Miami Beach. It's definitely a good choice especially if looking for healthy, fresh options. As it is really new they are still working out some things. I ordered the matcha pancakes and they never came out...but if in the area I would go back for those and a few other dishes I have my eye on. Sat outside which was nice but the took a photo of the inside the share as it had a good vibe as well.
Yummy food! Breakfast burrito is the bomb. Vegan burger was great, but I was hoping for something a bit more dense and flavorful. Still great, though. Great ambiance and super friendly service. Prices are a bit steep for my bank account, but it’s just right for the “average” South Beach/Miami resident living close by.
The falafel wrap was one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life. Sort of ruined my desire for any other food here. Expensive but worth. (I did not like the breakfast burrito&eggs made me feel not good - the eggs and mushrooms did not sting).
Excellent breakfast with gluten free and vegan options! I had eggs with gluten free bun and smashed avocado and it was amazing! Service is "ok" but to be fair, it was very busy. Expect to pay above average but it's worth it! NOTICE: the kombucha infused oatmeal tastes rancid and it's because the oats are fermented. Other than that, everything was great! The place is clean, cozy, and cute!
Food was pretty good, staff weren't as accommodating as they could have been. The place smelt like bleach, they must have just cleaned the floors. Wasn't very busy for dinner. The tables were a little sticky. Heaps of vegan options which was great!
What a find. If you are looking to start your day off on a healthy note this would be the spot. Free wifi, excellent staff, great service. I ordered a whole wheat gluten free bagel with an avocado spread and paired it with a cup of Americano black coffee. So delicious. The ambiance is very relaxing. Oh almost forgot they have free coffee refills & you can even get the refill in a 'to go' cup. Should I make it back to Miami again I will definitely be stopping at Lilikoi.
great and i mean GREAT breakfast items, everything was super delicious. However we had two cappucchinos and presentation was just downright bad. foam and milk down the sides of the cup, wet and messy spoons. some attention to detail wouldn’t hurt guys. otherwise keep it up!
Excellent food and atmosphere. Not cheap but worth every penny. There are lots of yummy options including sandwiches an all day breakfast smoothies and more. They have a nice outdoor patio to people watch. It's not easy to find a good vegan restaurant in South Beach. I like this one
Es un buen lugar para comer saludable. El menú es variado y muy rico. La atención también es muy buena y la limpieza del local impecable.
Loved the Probiotic Bowl, I'd never had flavor like it and I'm glad i just picked it off the list. However i didn't give this place 5 stars because our drinks were super disappointing, the mimosa my husband got looked pathetic and had an orange's sale sticker FLOATING in his glass :( Also, the prices here are quite high, we spent 75$ on two dishes and two drinks.. not including the tip.
It‘s ok, but not worth paying 70$ for 2 persons. Food is good prepared but doesn’t smell special. All prepared fresh. Taste of Orange juice was not good. Staff is Friendly. Place was empty.
Pretty bummed, was one of my favorite places, but ingredients are NOT actually organic. I'd been coming here for weeks, loving it and paying $6+ for a latte, until I noticed they are using conventional hormone-filled pesticide-laden milks! The "organic" is false advertising... to be organic, the produce and ingredients have to be certified organic with the USDA organic seal. Otherwise, we are paying extra for pesticide-filled food. Very upset, I loved Lilikoi and thought they actually live up to their "organic" marketing. I don't know what local farms they source from, but it seems to be greenwashing
Over priced cafe with average food. The Acai bowl is not good. They take your order at the register and expect a tip. The lox is awesome and the vibes there are good. It's a clean modern building. The staff when the owner there is nice. When the owner is not there they are so rude. It's so rude when you say thank you to some one and they don't say anything back. So if you are coming for a place to hang for a bit it's a good spot, just be prepared to drop some money.
Great service, beautiful decor, well priced. I wanted to love it, but my gluten free waffle was not tasty, cold, only a spoonful of syrup. My friend loved her caramel pancake. Lighting seemed bright, I prefer dimmed.
Food was delicious, would definitely recommend. Very dog friendly, comfy environment with relaxed people and friendly staff. Bad overall experience. Took 45 minutes for food on a normal morning. My drink came with a sticker from an orange in it, and my order was wrong. For the price (+$100 for two people for a quick bite), I'd hope the kitchen or servers would at least notice if there's literally a plastic sticker floating on the top of my glass.
This was a cute spot for some guilt free brunch, and the crowded-ness was evident to how popular this neighborhood SoBe joint is. I had their Belgium waffle with fresh fruit atop, while my brunch date had their eggs Benedict with organic chicken sausage. I wasn’t a fan of how they drowned my waffle I. Syrup so by the time I got it, it was completely soggy. I would have much rather had a crispy waffle and be in control of my topping it. We also had a greens juice that was delish! I’d come back again, and just be more specific when I order.
I had so much hope from this place and was excited to visit. We ordered Mushroom Farro Risotto, Buckwheat Ramen Noodle Soup and Shishito Papers. Mushroom Farro Risotto was okay felt bit overpriced for the taste, was expecting some wow element when you think of farm to table place. Buckwheat Ramen Noodle Soup we ordered with well done eggs on side and No fish but to our surprise it came with side of fish and eggs were not well done. Balance of flavor was missing in soup so we had leave it half way :(. Shishito Papers and Scallion were good only thing we enjoyed unfortunately. Service was pretty slow and staff wasn’t helpful and server was struggling to communicate in English.
I’m sad to say this, but this place is SIMPLY TERRIBLE!!! The staff was tremendously rude and unaccommodating, the food was tasteless, and the worst part is that they refused to make ANY modifications to the menu, no matter how simple the dish was and even in light of severe food allergies...which was very unfortunate considering I brought my family here all the way from NYC and we were excited to try this place. To make matters worst, they refused to help/accommodate us without any sort of explanation... we would’ve been ok with everything if they would’ve at least explained why or pretended to be sorry, but they didn’t. It was terrible. Service was AWFUL. Oh, and they also forgot to put salmon in our Salmon Wrap... meaning they served me a wrap full of lettuce. Crazy. That being said, the place is nice and the Acai Bowls are good. JC
I just paid $77 for a chicken wrap, a poke bowl, a juice and an açaí bowl, had to pay a service charge even though it was “to go” and the food was mediocre at best. The açaí bowl was mostly toppings, barely any açaí, and it was not made fresh, they pulled it out of a freezer …. The chicken wrap was 90% kale and barely had chicken and the poke bowl was drenched in sauce and was also mostly lettuce .. would not go back here and the cashier girl was rude
The place looks good and aesthetic. However, the prices are elevated, food took 30-40 minutes to be prepared. They took 10% service fee and the order’s total came up to 100$ for 3 main dishes without drinks, sides, and tips
Sad to leave this review because I generally like this place, but I can’t get anyone to call me back so hoping that management sees this. The tuna in my wrap this evening, ordered ‘medium’ .. was actually just a raw piece of meat, leaving the entire wrap we ordered completely inedible. I realize it was at the end of the day, but if you don’t want to take orders up until close, then the kitchen hours should be different. You can tell whole meal was rushed and not fully cooked because it was close to end of day and the staff just wanted out. (I will say the kid behind the counter was SO pleasant and sweet while we were in there) Such a bummer.
The Place is very nice, but the food unfortunately was terrible. We order falafel bowl witch comes with salad, salad had no taste, no dressing. Falafel tasted weird. Glasses had chlorine smell. How the hell is that organic living?? Hire better chefs who know how to make food.
Horrible service. They forgot half of our order and spent more time playing with a dog from another customer than actually providing service (the place was almost empty!). We waited for our order for more than 30 minutes and no one even apologized. The food was definitely not worth the wait.
Ordered a mimosa, coffee, mahi sandwich, banana bread, and a breakfast burrito bowl. I never make reviews but I wish I saw a review prior to going here. Mimosa - came with tuns of seeds in the drink and looked nasty. Got a new one and it had hair in it.. Coffee - had grounds in the coffee and was cold. Luke warm at best. Mahi sandwich - I was skeptical to order this but the hostess said it was really good… it tasted very fishy and gave me a stomach ache. Egg burrito bowl - unpleasant looking and watery eggs. Flavor was decent. Banana bread - girlfriend really enjoyed the banana bread. Would recommend the banana bread. Overall, very expensive ($96) for very low quality food. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere.
I recently came to eat lunch with my mother at this establishment and within 30 minutes of eating our Garden salad and tropical smoothies we both became physically sick. This was the only place we had eaten together and had gotten sick together. When I called into the restaurant to inform the manager, I was quickly dismissed me and told me she had sold hundreds of smoothies and salads that day and no one else complained. This place made us sick and we weren't taken seriously. Not cool.
Today I experienced the worst customer service ever. Overall the employees are quite nice, but today the person that served our table told us “if you don’t like it then you can leave” after we mentioned that she was being rude. After this encounter I will never come back or recommend this place. I just can’t believe someone will treat another person that way. There are plenty of other choices and the easiest thing to do as a business owner (and it’s for free!) is to offer exceptional customer services. Try Pura Vida, it’s just around the corner and it’s definitely MUCH better !!!
I came here a few times. My orders often had issues. I was told before that something was vegan that actually was not and so on. Today, I came with my best friend. She orders something with eggs. Said not scrambled. Got scrambled. Then went back and asked if poached is ok to make. They said yes. They brought something that was no where close to being a properly done poached. Then the owner rudely came over and said we don't do that. Well.... if she was given proper options from the start non of this happened. I will not support this business ever again. BEING NICE AND PROVIDING GOOD SERVICE IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! I would know, because I ran, owned and worked in hotels, restaurant's and nightclubs. Also the son and the owner started having an argument in the restaurant over the issue we were having, which we would see them doing.
Wow what a mess this place is. First time I went it was alright. Food was good, but that’s pretty much it. If it weren’t for the location I would never go. Second time I went the attention was terrible. Got there in the afternoon and i felt disgusted with the customer service. The employees told me and my family to order or they will close. We were rushed to order in two minutes. The lady taking the order had a terrible attitude and face while taking our order. In addition, once we got our food, it was all wrong. The sides were on the wrong plate, the mixed up our order. It was a disaster. The Açaí brings no açaí so do not order it. Its better to eat an ice ream of açaí rather than their $15 plate of açaí which brings nothing. When we asked to please get some more acai since it barely has they were very rude and went to throw away our food instead of adding more. They wanted to charge extra as if the acai is not expensive enough. Lastly, the amount of random charged they add to the bill is absurd. They add a miami beach tax, gratuity, service fee, and also a credit card surcharge. Yes, you read that right. All that sums up and it does not include tip. Overall, DO NOT GO. There are plenty of better restaurants with better service around the area. 0 STARS!!!!
I really wanted to like this place. I’m here on a short vacation and just wanted a nice breakfast. I should have stayed at the hotel. I attempted to order the eggs benedict, but instead it devolved into me getting an extremely overpriced, unapologetic 30 minute wait (interrupted with a frittata being randomly brought and taken away), while my friend finished his cold, not-what-he-ordered meal. Tomorrow, I’ll go a block over, and I’ll save money, aggravation, rude service, and time. I recommend you do the same. Sad and embarrassing.
The absolute worst experience I've ever encountered at any restaurant. I don't mind spending money but that place is a sham. As far as service- I came in with my sister, people after us were getting their food. After a while my sister's food came. She finished her meal but mine still hasn't come out yet. When I asked for my food (twice) a girl finally told me they forgot to put it in. Food wise- my sister's poke bowl is less than desirable. The waffle I ordered was absolutely inedible. Their green juice was filled with debris. The entire time, noone checked on the table to see how things are going. So pretty much with that experience, I paid $55 for poor service, bad food, I was still hungry, and no one apologized. I give one star for a clean place.
The cashier/server was so rude to the customers after we ordered. It took 45 minutes for them to bring it out. We found out the fryer wasn’t working. Then they told us they made a mistake and forgot about our order. Once we finally received our order we asked if they cut the sandwich. The server said did you ask me that? After waiting for 45 minutes to be so rude to a customer is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. Will never come back here again
Not good: I was hoping this place would be good, since I eat organically & it’s hard to find OG restaurants. BUT it left a lot to be desired. We tried the banana bread & a cappuccino. The banana bread was really bad. It was raw in the center & I got a bite of bitter sour- I have no idea what tha was- lemon, or a clump of baking powder? It was very bad. I let the server know the bread was raw & she said that’s how the make it, because it’s vegan! I was vegan for many years & loved making delicious banana bread. Because it is vegan, does not mean it should be raw or nasty. 🤦🏼♀️ The cappuccino was also bitter. I let that slide since they aren’t a coffee shop.... but come on. $7.50 for an inedible piece of banana bread. & not good customer service- hence the review.
SCAM Forced 20% included tip that was NOT written on the menu. They mentioned that they planned on writing it at some point on the menu but in my case it's too little too late and it doesn't excuse them not telling me in advance at least verbally
This is the worst restaurant ever the food is so salty and they put so much oil the servers are rude and the food sucks do not eat here ever i do not recommend this place to nobody as you can see i ordered i pasta i ate it and oil just spilled out of my bowl i will never eat here again i paid 80$ for pasta and a salad we tried to get a refund but the workers were so stubborn they made us pay 20$ more for a SALAD this is so stupid and i dont think you should eat here EVER its a waste of money and time and there is so many other Restaurant’s in this block witch have way better service lilikoi please fix these issues i found a toe in my soup
Although there are some good healthy options here, and Im told good for vegans, the place is over priced and the food quality is not consistent. I live in the area so have persevered with this place. The service here is very hit and miss, the girls sometimes seem to have an attitude of arrogance. My husband was charged $7 the other day for 3 tiny prawns in a noddle dish, and somehow the bill is always $20 over other places. I had eggs that were so sloppy they were all over my plate and difficult to actually eat. Coffee was very bitter too. I get the feeling its all talk and no love with these guys.
Unbelievable the way they treat their customers. Respectfully, I have no idea about the people they usually deal with but I had the manager coming into my table bringing back to us the plate we sent back because it was incredibly salty. She was literally telling us that there was nothing wrong with the plate and that in the future, we should have read the menu in much more detailed. That is certainly not the way you treat your customers. Especially after you pay $32 for a salad with some tuna and salmon. Ridiculous.. We will not be back.
I was looking forward to try this place, but I was very disappointed. Here are some points of improvement: 1. You openly say you add ice in the smoothies because it’s more cost effective. With that kind of mindset no one will remember your place for making the right choices to achieve the best taste. Nobody likes a watered down smoothie. 2. As the name indicates a Smoothie is also known for its smoothness, maybe you can blend the chunks of frozen fruit longer to the achieve an overall better smoothie. 3. Don’t charge 3$ for 1/2 avocado. 5. 45$ without tip for a bowl without protein + smoothie is not a competitive pricing with respect to other nearby options. 6. Final conclusion, if you would focus on spectacular taste and value for money you could actually have a fully booked restaurant every day, for now that’s not the case.
The food was uneditable! Egg wasn't poached it was almost raw. The salmon was two different colors appearing half raw and there was no hollandaise sauce on a piece of weat bread that had finger prints in it were it was soggy from the egg. I called the the owner or at least who I was told was the owner and he was rude and defensive and didn't try to remedy the problem instead said it was fine.
