Love and gyros Miami Reviews
Very good food, good prices and very efficient. The food for 3 people took about 5 minutes to come out, so very quick!. Good proportions and very customizable. The floor was a little bit sticky but definitely recommended! You can either order yourself on a screen or they can assist you. Nice green music and good atmosphere.
I’ve discovered this place recently while searching for authentic Greek food in Miami. As a Greek who lived in Greece for 32years I would say the taste is as delicious as the ones from Greece. It’s definitely one of the best Ive had and the best outside Greece. If you want an authentic delicious Gyro that’s your spot.
Hands down the best gyro I’ve had outside Greece and even in Greece (I’m Greek) It was so flavourful and authentic! The fries inside the pita are also made homemade and are not frozen/store bought. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant or about the owner Athena, she’s an absolute sweetheart! Plus, there’s also a parking lot in the back of the restaurant so you don’t have to go driving around looking for parking.
First time. Absolutely amazing gyro. The service was warm and attentive, and the place itself is spotless, which I really appreciate. The flavor took me right back to Greece — I’ve been there, and this tastes incredibly close to the real thing. Fresh, authentic, and genuinely delicious. Highly recommended.
Delicious Greek authentic food 10/10 coming from a Greek myself! I highly recommend you to try it out. Great gyro meat and a lot of great choices. Fortemenes (loaded) fries are 10/10. The best gyro in Miami.
Great food! Best gyro I’ve had in a very long time. It was very hot in the restaurant though. BUT! The food was worth the sweat!
The perfect gyro IMO. I was so excited about my food I forgot to take a pic before biting into my chicken gyro. We also had a lamb gyro, Greek fries, & Epsa lemonade (soda). The gyros were so full of flavor. The pitas are the right amount of crispy outside & soft inside & the same goes for the fries. It's a small place & being Wynwood the parking depends on what time you're there. We found paid street parking a few steps away & there are paid parking garages nearby. Staff was very nice. This is definitely going to become a regular spot for us.
I ate here. I was able to make a gyro bowl off the kiosk. The options for making a bowl are plentiful. Some of the options are Greek, so I didn't understand all of them. The drinks are bottled. They have Zagori still and sparkling water. I had one of both. Overall, good. I like whole food meals
Will attach picture of what I ordered first time in. The big selling point here is good food and a nice free parking lot out back. Nearly all other restaurants in this area require you to pay for parking but NOT here 👍 I ordered the Gyro Plate with lamb and an extra side of the “fit for gods sauce” . The sauces are incredible I highly recommend trying. Overall good visit with tax and tip was about $22. Not cheap but not overly priced either. Thank you very kind staff
Delicious authentic gyros. Friendly service from the pretty ladies behind the counter.
Spicy pork gyro is so yummy! The service is always friendly and quick. They have ziosk to order by yourself which is cool. The baklava was really good and a big piece for the price. Great flavors and portions!
LOVE ‘N GYROS Does the best Gyro that I’ve had thus far in Miami. The kitchen operates efficiently and though the establishment is not full service, the employees behind the counter smile, and seem happy to be there. This is relieving as it seems harder and harder to come by these days in this industry. I will for sure return during my infrequent visits to Wynwood. My recommendation as far as the sandwiches go is the zesty pork Gyro. You will not be disappointed.
I ordered the Lamb Gyro with an order of Greek fries... YES!. Was super yummy & flavorful. The price wasn't as bad as the usual wynwood prices... but hey.. that Gyro was worth more. I also met some cool peoples while dinning in. All & all.. I will recommend myself to go back for mor 😊
Totally exceeded my expectations! Hearty gyro, perfectly chopped salad- fresh dressings and tzatziki - Greek yogurt was also amazing / better than Go Greek. Ladies were also amazing and accommodating- will be back!
Our first time here for dinner and the food was terrific. I had the chicken plate and my wife had the lamb plate. The Greek fries and the Greek Kale salad was excellent. We had the Greek yogurt for dessert which also was terrific. Not one bad thing to say about this place. Thanks to all.
Food was ready really quick. Lots of diversity. No words to describe how good it was. 10/10 will come again
Wonderful restaurant, excellent customer service and delicious variety of foods. Erica is always amazing!
Great Greek food, healthy, authentic and everything is fresh. Great service as well!
I have ordered mutiple times from Love N Gyros and it has never disappointed me! Their lamb gyro is my favorite! I even have greek friends that love this place for being good and authentic. Its healthy, good portion, place is clean and staff is always nice when I go pick up my order. Give them a try!
BEST GYROS EVER!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Customer service is awesome, and the food is EVEN better. The homemade sauce (tzatziki) is a thing from another world, goes really good with my favorite gyro (pork og).🤤 They have parking at the back and is pet friendly, so I visit them with my bests buddies 🐕 .
Great name great food give this place a try when you’re in Wynwood or even if you’re not iit’s worth the drive Place safe inside Seating takeout and curbside service all the All the meat is displayed in front of you and then carved off I had the lamb delicious next time I’m going to try the spicy pork best of all where the fresh made french fries don’t forget to get an order but make sure you buy another one because those are going to go fast
Incredible customer service. They were very careful with my allergy request. And it’s delicious.
Ordered for delivery yesterday and the food was delicious! We had the gyro plate and the soft serve! Will definitely recommend to anyone that loves a good gyro!
The Gyro was awesome and tasted amazing. The gyro was amazing and the fries were great too, although a little heavy on the salt. The gyro and fries came out to 18 dollars without tip or drink. As much as I loved it I don't think I'll be able to get this regularly as it's a bit expensive for lunch. However, when I crave a gyro this will be my spot.
Been coming here for years. It’s an authentic gyro in Miami. Super friendly staff too.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love and Gyros truly lives up to its name, these are the best gyros in Miami, made with love and bursting with flavor! Everything is freshly prepared, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. I absolutely love the salads so fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The customer service is outstanding. The owner and staff are always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. You always feel appreciated here, whether it’s your first visit or your tenth. It’s a family-friendly spot with ample parking and a great variety of menu options. I highly recommend Love and Gyros to anyone living in or visiting Miami. Don’t miss out on this Wynwood gem!
Yeah it's pretty good, lamb gyro excellent even with 'embedded' french fries!
The best gyro since the Greek place closed in Surfside! Rivals Chicago gyros... Which speaks volumes... Ana, the host, order taker, and general fantastic person was awesome! Kudus on the amazing food ... There is a bringt future in this place. Thank you for bringing your 'A' game to my table.
These are the best gyros I've had since leaving Chicago which has a huge Greek community and has really some of the best and gyros but since being in Miami for 14 years really haven't found a place this place hits the mark juicy not too salty Peter was warm and fluffy tzatziki was fantastic highly recommended
We visited this place twice on our vacation in Miami. It was very delicious 😍 The Gyros and the Falafel were very good. Greetings from Germany
The best authentic gyros I’ve tried in the USA. There will be no pictures cause I ate them quicker then realized I should’ve taken some. The smell is absolutely bewitching, couldn’t resist or think clearly lol. Highly recommend!
Stopped in for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised with this place. It was busy but we lucked out and grabbed a table inside, although there was outdoor seating as well. I had the pork platter which came with fresh, warm pita as well as tomatoes, red onion, fries, and honey mustard aioli. My husband enjoyed the lamb gyro. Both were made fresh and were out of this world. We will be back for sure!
Omg, these Gyros are amazing!!!! I had this place on my list and I'm so happy I got the chance to go this weekend. The seating area has inside and outside. Parking is on the street of our crazy Wynwood! and you need the pay by a phone app. The prices of their food are reasonable for the wonderful quality. The loaded fries are more like fire fries, so full of flavor and that lamb was practically melting in my mouth. The gyro was delicious and that pork was so savory and tender. The bread was exquisite, I wish I could have it every day.
Went without knowing what to expect and my expectations went very very high! A must that you have to visit, they made you clear about the time of your food being prepared since it’s very fresh and not fast food! The platters amazing! The loaded fries they make you WOW! And the pita you have to try it!
After a trip to downtown, we swung by Wynwood for lunch and found this shop next to Derek's bakery. The food was five star worthy. Fries were fresh and needed no ketchup at all. Pitas were warm and delicious. I would only give a small knock to the pricing. The gyros and platters we're maybe .75 to $1 too expensive, the experience was great and the staff were really nice.
The BEST gyro and perfect lunch spot in Wynwood. I was really impressed with how authentic the food is - I felt like I was in Greece 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Do yourself a favor and order the pork gyro with feta and taziki!!!
Actually delicious. I am a Wynwood hater but I will be back for the best gyro in Miami. So filling and delicious - and was prepared pretty quickly! Overpriced but thats to be expected for the area. Everyone was really nice; I sat in and there was ample seating. SO GOOD ILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
Loved everything about this place. Quick service, clean and cozy spot, and the food tastes exactly like it should — authentic Greek flavors. Highly recommend!
One of the best gyro spots in town! Portions are generous, the food is fresh, and the team is super welcoming. Perfect for a casual lunch or dinner.
Love N’ Gryros is a cozy, welcoming spot with some of the best gyros in town. The staff is friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. The gyro is perfectly seasoned, wrapped in warm, fluffy pita, and topped with fresh ingredients and rich, creamy tzatziki. Can’t wait to come back!
We love this gyro spot! Came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and really enjoyed our meal and experience. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. We ordered the chicken pita and lamb pita. Both were absolutely delicious! Just the right amount of sauce and their pita bread was perfectly soft. The pitas are reasonably priced, too! I highly recommend if you like gyros and are looking for a satisfying meal.
This picture doesn’t do justice. Such tasty, juicy and fresh Lamb Gyros! The pita is so fluffy, warm and a little toasted. I get it with both sauces, Tzatziki and Fit for gods. Every now and then I’ll add feta. A top favorite for me in town. I love the Greek music always playing too. The Epsa carbonated drinks are better than any other soda I’ve ever had. They’re so refreshing, taste clean and pair well with the meal.
Wow while working a hallowing detail today as a Police Officer in the area I walked in to order a lamb gyro and I was very impressed with the treatment, how clean the establishment was and ultimately the food was great and fresh. Thanks for the great service and support for law enforcement.
If you are within 100 miles of this place, I strongly recommend you stop in and eat. The food is prepared when you order it and not before. Everything is made precisely to order and every attention to detail is taken. This food is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Portions are HUGE!!! Do yourself a favor and go eat here!!!
The gyros here are amazing! The meat is perfectly cooked, the pita is soft, and the tzatziki is so fresh. Staff were really friendly too — definitely coming back.
Best Gyros and stuffed grape llaves in town!!!
First time trying this place. A little pricey at $14 for a smallish gyro but the pork gyro is quite authentic and quite delicious if you’ve had gyros in Greece. I would recommend skipping the other sauces and American style lamb, and go straight for the OG pork with everything and tzatziki. Service was super friendly, I would come back if craving street style Gyros.
The place is not bad there is a slight order that I sensed not sure if it’s because it’s sold building or where is coming from I would try to get that fixed other than that the place is not bad. I gave it a 4 because of the order. Food is not bad at all. I uploaded some videos stating the rest of my review.
Great casual spot for all things Gyros. They really stuff these pitas with a lot of meat. Whatever blend of spices they use on their Zesty Pork Gyro is unreal. there taziki sauce is good I would also suggest trying their sauce of the gods which is a zesty honey mustard flavored sauce it goes well with these zesty pork. I have yet to try the chicken.
Stopped in for a quick bite. Short and sweet. The gyro was not ur average size, however I thought it was pretty good. The wrap was soft and warm. The sauce was tasty and the meat was not salty. As a twist they put 3 or 4 french fries on it. Over all pretty tasty. I do wish it came with a side of fries or something for the $10 + change price tag but hey what can you do in an inflated world. The fries will run you about $4 to $5 + change. So it's a 4 out of 5 stars for me. But dont let that stop you from trying for yourself :)
Stopped by after riding around looking for something to eat and decided to give this place a try. I started with the gyro, and it was packed with flavor. The lamb was clearly real lamb—not the mass-produced gyro meat you usually get from places that rely on U.S. Foods or Sysco. That alone set it apart. I also ordered the feta fries. They were nothing special, but they got the job done. I noticed they offer salads and rice bowls as well, which I’ll probably try next time. There were a lot of to-go orders coming through while I chose to dine in, which tells me others already know this is a solid spot. Overall, if you’re looking for something different from your typical burger or Chipotle bowl, I highly recommend checking out Love N Gyros..
Gyro pita was the best we have ever had! Note that the pita doesn’t come with fries on the side, they add some fries into the actual pita. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because We ordered a side of Greek fries and recieved a small sauce on the side, asked for more sauce and they wanted to charge $2.50 for a tiny cup of sauce, that was insane. We had never tried he sauce before ( I think it’s the Greek goddess? Sorta like a honey mustard) it was delish but I do believe that after spending $80 we should have just been given the sauce or maybe they can lower to a more reasonable price 🤦♀️
As a regular, it’s been 2 times I’ve ordered the lamb gyro and the taste of lamb was very strong which could be considered not lamb anymore. Taste and feels like old meat. The meat is more burnt out than tender. I used to love this place but I won’t order again. Time to find a new gyro spot.
Love the food. It’s an easy option because they have parking. Bathroom has no toilet paper and makes for an unpleasant experience. There’s a Wi-Fi signal but they staff says they don’t know the password. Server gave me incorrect change. Came by to eat and get some work done. If I can’t work, won’t come back.
WYNWOOD, MIAMI, FL – With a rustic finish on their tables and white painted metal chairs, Love N Gyros is a popular lunch spot for locals and travelers alike. At first glance from the outside, the place looks super cool; with its diner-style doors and fantastic urban art of a train at a station. Sometimes they have stool tables outside. Sometimes they don’t. Their sauces are great! Like their cute sign next to the cash register reads “Where all of our menu items are made to order. Wait time is 10 – 30 minutes.” So, it can be a bit long until you get your hands on a tasty Gyro Prices are higher than other local street/window cafés. The Plate $16,75, Pita $12,75, L&G Fries $6,45 (which is what I had), Greek Fries $7,45, Greek Kale Salad $13,45, Horiatiki Salad $13,45. Bottle of water $3? Between the music playing and the patrons chatting, there is no way to make a phone call inside while enjoying your meal. And when I moved towards the cooler where it was a bit quieter, the gentleman owner (the father) came out of the kitchen and harshly told me to step away from the cooler and go back to my seat to talk. Also, the attention of the daughter who took my order was dry and serious. In my humble opinion, as a business consultant and patron, everyone in the family needs to improve on their friendliness while serving. Remember: you’re in the hospitality and food industry. The food and the ambiance are not enough to retain customers. Otherwise, you’ll have first-and-last time customers who won’t want to come back. . • DΛVΞ GΛRCIΛ™ Experiences: ★★★✫✫ BRAND: LOVE ‘N GYROS, 2814 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL (@lovengyros) TEXT & PHOTOS: DΛVΞ GΛRCIΛ™ (@davegarciahq). The gyro in a pita was a little small. I asked for tzatziki sauce since the 2nd half of my gyro didn't have any, and I was charged $2 for it. Ensure that they apply it evenly. I asked for hot sauce, and they only had some in packets. It wasn't bad for a quick lunch, but it didn't really feel like something I would drive a distance to go to. Staff was friendly
I honestly feel bad for the staff, because they were the only good part of this whole experience. This place is an overpriced embarrassment—especially for what’s basically a grimy fast-food setup. The Greek gods must be ashamed. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. My small gyro had zero flavor, just dried-out meat spilling everywhere and making a mess. And the spanakopita? Dry, flat, and tasted like burnt oil. Do yourself a favor and skip this spot. There are way better options in Miami.
I arrived at 1800 for a lamb gyro & seasoned fries. I placed my order to which I observed a new worker on the grill (female). I should have questioned when I didn’t see them shave the lamb to cook, but being pregnant and nice I decided to go along and not question things. While my order was being prepared I spoke privately with the owner (female) at the register expressing to her to make sure it’s done correctly. I received my order happily rushing to my car to eat while hot, but the gyro was cold and the lamb overly cooked and dry. I called right away as I was driving to speak with someone, but all you get is a voicemail no matter how many times you call. I will no longer recommend to my colleague or anyone. I have eaten here several times, but this was just horrible.
I ordered from here on Uber eats. I ordered a Gyro… I have never eaten a more disgusting Gyro in my entire life in addition to a tasting horrible it looked possibly even worse than it tasted! Forget about the price, I wouldn’t have taken this for free if I knew it would be like this. I’m utterly disappointed! (edited 5/23/25): I'm updating this review because the business responded by calling my review "vague "and addressing me by my first name, even though I intentionally use initials for privacy. That alone felt unprofessional, but so was the tone of their entire reply. Let me be very clear: my review was anything but vague the Gyro I ordered was misrepresented, tasted terrible, and looked on appetizing. I've eaten many gyros in many places, including overseas... including spicy gyros that used hot peppers, onions, or jalapeños to create flavor whatever "spice "this business used was flat out awful and if you don't think a spicy gyros appropriate, then why offer one at all? I also ordered Suzuki on the side and that's exactly how it came, not on the Gyro as they claimed in their reply. They are defensiveness and false corrections only make things worse. Reviews are for honest customer experiences. Mine was honest. Their reaction? Unprofessional on every level.
Food was awesome but they made us go back and grab an ID to pick up normal food which was a little ridiculous. Edit: This company is a mess.
They’re google hours said they were open, both times I went they were closed. I called and their prompt says that the hours reflected on Google are correct. No they’re not.
Completely delusional Miami pricing. We dropped $60 for two people to have lunch, after ordering on iPads and picking up the food ourselves. Chicken was chewy and dry. Not sure how this can be a successful business model.
