There are a couple gems here the best by far is Dolma which has consistently good Mediterranean but portions are small. Theres also a Thai chef that runs a few of the popups and when she’s working the food is amazing. I don’t think locals have any clue what they are missing and live to trash talk about this spot. It’s unusually better than the greasy fried food in this area.

St. Roch Market has become one of my go-to spots in the Bywater/Marigny corridor. I usually come for CR Coffee Shop, which easily ranks as one of the best in New Orleans. Their mocha is smooth, rich, and always consistent. Inside, the space feels open and bright with classic columns, high ceilings, and soft lighting that makes it easy to settle in for a few hours. There’s also a new Caribbean spot—Dunkanoo—serving flavorful pasta and creative dishes that make this market perfect for lunch runs. You’ll also find Mediterranean bites, sandwiches, and cocktails at the bar for happy hour. I like to grab a seat by the large windows or lounge on the leather couches in the back when I’m taking a break. The restrooms are clean and easily accessible toward the rear. On nice days, the patio seating gives you a front-row view of St. Claude Avenue’s energy. Overall, this is one of those rare places that fits any mood—coffee, work, lunch, or a relaxed evening drink. A neighborhood staple that deserves to be around for a long time.

Great place to grab good food & catch a relaxing vibe! My fave is the Junkanoo cafe. They have a beautiful patio area and it’s a nice option for folks who may be traveling in a group, but people have different tastes in food. They’ve got a wine bar and desserts too! Highly recommend 😁

A very nice comfortable food court with variety of food vendors with many delicious dishes on their menu. Also, a fairly good size bar. A lot of seating inside and out.

My husband and I recently visited the St. Roch Market and absolutely fell in love with both the food and the amazing staff! We highly recommend trying the Dubai Cookie from Olive, Cheese & Crackers it was absolutely delicious, and the owner was such a delight to chat with. We also suggest grabbing some oysters from Miles at The Salted Pearl, they were fantastic!

We absolutely loved St. Roch Market. We ate at Lin’s sushi and the Burmese food place right beside it. It was amazing. We can’t wait to go back. Next time we’ll hit up happy hour for $1 oysters, and for sure try Junkanoo Bahamian food. So many great options in a nice atmosphere. Service is incredible with many warm people. Love the St. Roch district and this market is one of the highlights.

This is a high-end food court with charm and vibes in abundance. I had half a dozen raw oysters and my dining companion had a toasted sandwich with superb caesar salad, which gives an impression of the range available here. I loved it.

We had a large group so this was perfect with a variety of vendors to choose from. The Bau was amazing with chicken. The Pho with roast beef was so good. The whole crab po boy was too salty. The fries with white sauce were the best thing EVER!!! Get them! You won't be sorry. Yummy!

A bevy of different food choices. The Asian selections were very tasty. It was not too busy when we were there, so it was pleasant. I could see it being a little loud with a lot of people in there.

Love the aesthetic of the place plus there’s tons of vendors with lots of different cuisines to try. There’s something here for everyone! I tried the Indian food from Everything Spice and was seriously impressed. I also enjoyed happy hour at the Mayhaw which is every weekday from 4-6pm and select craft cocktails & wines are $7! There’s quite a bit of seating inside and outside and it was fairly easy to park nearby. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place. I've been coming here for the last nine months and will continue to come here as long as I live in new orleans. A fantastic array of cuisine. Literally every restaurant here is good. The service is fantastic. Everyone is friendly. You have to wait through some of the yuppies and the credit card hipsters, but it's definitely worth it. Highly recommend.

Great place to beat the heat and enjoy some amazing food. The gentleman at The Roosters Den was very nice and accommodating the food was fresh and well seasoned. The market also had fresh water for patrons as well. Whenever I come to the NO I always drop in and try different vendor.

Stopped in for the oyster happy hour (Monday-Friday 4-6 $1 raw oysters and $2 charboiled oysters) and did they do us right! First oysters I've ever had and my expectations are now through the roof.

Food courts style eatery with amazing options. There are no chain restaurants here with the same old offerings taking up the space. All restaurants are unique and offer a wide range of food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. St Roch Market will be on my list of places to visit when I am in New Orleans!

First time being here inside St. Roch Market. They have a wide variety of cuisines from around the globe. Prices are comparable to most other places I've been to in the greater New Orleans area. Went with the Trash Grits from Fried & True and a Vanilla Latte from Coast Roast.

My favorite stop from our trip and something that wasn't planned. Needed something accessible when we got here and the service and food didn't disappoint one bit. At the Mayhaw, the Sazerac was one of the best I've ever had. Elysian Seafood has a stellar crab cake, but the potato hash was only so-so. A friend can't stop talking about how much she loved the curry there.

M

Pleasant treat located inside the setting of St. Roch Market. Besides being a nice place to people watch, it also has an interesting selection of various cuisine. My first preference was Dolma and I was not disappointed. Everything was fresh, bright and tasty. Their Labna/Tzatziki was the best I've ever tasted. The hummus and roasted eggplant were very good as well. The texture of the pita was perfect for dipping. Repeated visits must be made.

Ate lunch here since it is close distance from my Airbnb & couldn't walk to French quarter because of the thunderstorms & heavy rain. My husband ordered the chicken wrap $11. It was delicious. I ordered chicken pho @ T2 $12. The broth was bit sweet to my taste. It was great bowl of pho but not authentic Vietnamese style. It had rosemary for seasoning which very rarely to use in Vietnamese pho broth. Overall, great price I will say same cost or $1 - $2 cheaper than Bay Area, CA.

Awesome spot. Victoria, at the Repreive inside, made literally the best hurricane and bloody Mary's I've ever had in my life. All from scratch. She even pickled hoochbeans and okra that morning for the bloody mary. You think Pat Obriens hurricane is good. No. Go see Victoria! Also had the most delectable Tuscan sandwich there.

Helloooo!!! I went this market for lunch in trip to NOLA. There are about twenty different booth to choose from... Coffee, soups, wraps, breakfast, saladas, etc. I bought my lunch in the first booth on the left. I had two eggs on too of a toast with avocado, arugula, and cherry tomatoes. Grabbed my plate and sat at the bar in the back of the market for an IPA. What I dont like is that theres a lot flies and I am sure that a light trap could do a better job that small carnivorous plants. Thanks a lot st roch market!!!

Stopped here for an afternoon bite. Extremely friendly staff at every counter, great selection of international foods. the salad at olive cheese & crackers prepared by troy was a standout. Khou suey was flavorful. We would come back any day, except that we leave town tomorrow. But.... We did pack a second salad for dinner tonight. :-)

Absolutely loved this place. A bit off the beaten track but definitely a firm foodie hot spot. Lots of different cuisines to choose from. I try to stick to mainly local dishes like gambo and beans and rice and I was not disappointed. The athmosphere is really good as well and they have a nice bar as well serving great cocktails.

If you’re a foodie and you want to get away from the tourist spots and find something delicious and authentic, come to St Roch Market. You won’t be disappointed. I found Tung Nguyen’s spot and tried his smoked brisket pho. Omg… it’s legit and original. Also had a Swamp Monster (pandan latte) from CR coffee. Also delicious.

What a great place to eat in New Orleans. St. Roch Market is a foodcourt with a wide variety of choices. It seemed like we were the only tourists there, so this might be a hidden gem.

This was my first time going into this place and it's absolutely NICE! There's a couple of businesses in this one market but me & bae decided to go to HYPE EATZ. I had the SOUTHERN taco which was the picture with the honey baked chicken with the Mac and cheese on a sweet potato tortilla with the whiskey honey glaze. It had a mild sweet flavor which I really enjoyed. Bae got the JERK RED FISH taco which was the picture with the reddish seasoned with the jerk sauce with cilantro, pickled red onions, red cabbage served with plantains (also pictured) I tasted alittle bit of the red fish but it wasn't too spicy but then and all I only had one bite. You can see what we ordered pictured on the menu I also tried plantains for the first time and it was ok; like a banana TRYING to be subtle with the sweetness but much firmer. Very interesting🤔 Also used the restroom; I hope that not too weird but it looks like those old school restroom which I thought was pretty neat and thought I would share it with yall. We went on a Saturday and the vibe was pretty chill with an eclectic vibe; so many cultures (foodwise) in one place. I can't speak on what a regular workday would be like Like a melting pot. Speaking on the heads mounted; just strange but odd but..ok I also pictured the table and chairs. Ok I did that because if you look closely there's hooks to hang your jacket, purse etc UNDERNEATH the table. Idk if your interested in trying a new place check this place out. You might find something new & interesting. Maybe this can become your new hangout spot!

Hip eclectic food court (think of food truck complexity without wheels) with unusual dishes, local favorites and healthy international cuisine, cocktails, coffee, juices and fruit teas. Weekend brunch is popular. Outdoor seating. Meals are inexpensively priced. Open late, depending on the crowd, sometimes as late as midnight. Come hungry you will want to try every

Tried Genevieve’s and I’m soooo glad I did! I ordered the gumbo & rice and I am unbelievably impressed by how great it tastes. Ms. Genevieve was so welcoming and pleasant. I really wish she made her own Google page so she can get the visibiliy that she deserves. Wonderful cajun/creole food! I would definitely come back when I visit NOLA again.

Ate at St Roch three times during our visit to NOLA. The atmosphere of this food hall has a nice laid-back modern feel. Has plenty of options for everyone. If you are looking for a healthier break from all the southern comfort foods, I'd recommend the Daily Beet grain bowls.

Very cute place! Lots of different things to try. From a coffee shop, Mexican food, New Orleans seafood, to a really good breakfast spot. I loved the concept of having all these little places in one big spot. Wasn't too packed when I went so it wasn't difficult finding a place to sit. Food was ready really fast too. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean. This is a good place to stop at for a quick lunch/brunch

What a lovely spot! St Roch Market is a bright and airy spot with some great food options. Poke around, get a sample of dishes, and enjoy the atmosphere. Two spots stood out to us: The Salted Pearl and the Thai spot just across the way from that stall. It’s a great place for relaxed eats.

Great food and drink offerings! Nice people serving everything We had a dozen oysters with some Abita Amber and everything was perfect. Really tasty oysters with almost zero brine flavor but big and meaty. I can't remember the vendor now (next to the Bar toward the rear) Also had some Po'boys from Genevieve's and they were AMAZING. Got a Shrimp and a Hot Sausage.....and the Hot Sausage was a 10/10 one of the best sandwiches out there. Great bread and the sausage flavors mixing with the fat from the cheese and mayo.....oh man. Also had some Crab Balls that were alllll crab and had all the great textures with the fried outer layer Plenty of spots to sit and chill out

I’ve always loved these market concepts because everyone can get what they want. I came for Elysian Seafood and it did not disappoint. The crawfish etouffee tasted like it was made with crawfish broth. Red beans and rice had a nice little kick. The crab cake… takes the cake. Insanely good.

1875 market reborn as a food hall. I cant say enough good stuff about this place. It was packed! I ordered from "Fete au Fete" and was not disappointed. I spotted the giant biscuits from across the room. Had biscuit and gravy, cheese grits, 2 eggs and house made sausage. Simply amazing! Also tried their jalapeno corn biscuits. So good! Girlfriend had Oeuvos Rancheros (sp?) From another vendor, I forget their name, but it was super tasty too! Highly reccomend! Cant wait to go back!

Stopped in to grab an iced coffee from Coast Roast. The space is absolutely beautiful. Clean, spacious, and lively. I ordered the iced sweet cream vanilla latte. It was one of the best lattes Ive ever had; sweet but potent. My only criticism is that I wasnt hungry enough to try one of the food vendors. They looked and smelled delicious!

Very good...very different! Burmese and Malaysian food! Shared a Shumai appetizer, a Rainbow Salad plate which was two salads with a side of deliciously seasoned pork, and a Laksa Bowl, coconut milk with noodles, all dishes truly delightful.... Far from the mundane!

So glad nola has a cute and trendy food hall! So many options but I went with Coalesce Goods which was the best decision ever. The food choices are all vegan! All you'll be thinking is WOW THIS IS DELICIOUS! First of all, the wildberry poptart-I could eat this everyday and still never grow tired. It was the perfect flakey, crumbly crust with a sweet and smooth berry filling and to die for berry icing. I also got breakfast tacos with vegan chorizo which was a blast of intense, fresh and satisfying flavours! The mushrooms especially were delicious and a tangy sweet that I could eat alone. Also, how cute there is two layered corn tortillas and black beans inbetween them! I also can't recall a time that I felt so energized after eating breakfast tacos-I'm telling you these chefs create fresh and healthy spins on typically indulgent foods. Both of them were also so friendly and welcoming! The fresh pressed green juice was thirst quenching juice perfection too! Highly recommend!!!

Aritza's Kitchen is an absolutely incredible place to get hard-to-find Cuban food. We ordered the Cuban sampler and flan, and were more than satisfied. It feels good knowing that New Orleans has a spot to get delicious Cuban food. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for Cuban food in the area.

K

So. Good. It's always a bit of a struggle because there are so many options and I can't decide. Yesterday I had some tropical chicken tacos from the Junkanoo Cafe, and I'm still thinking about them. There was so much flavor. They were absolutely delicious.

I don't know how to describe this place but, I FRIGGIN LOVE THE CONCEPT! Several restaurants and food vendors under one roof. If I had to compare the concept to something, I say think of a food truck park, but indoors! Each of my friends and I ordered something different from separate stands. We were all taken back and amazed by this place. I'd love to have something like this in Houston! 😊

This place is so fun! It's an experience! We loved trying lots of things and sharing. I'd skip on the lobster mac and cheese. That booth had terrible service too. The healthy smoothie place with avocado toast was my favorite. Try the Sweet Mint Smoothie! It's the best. 👍

Most bigger cities/ areas have some sort of industrial eatery where there are multiple different “restaurants” (more like indoor food trucks) to choose from and wander around to. St. Roch market is just like that, but it’s for sure a distinctly New Orleans version. The outside is brick and has a cute seating area. Inside feels almost colonial mixed with modern Victorian and it’s a pretty cool mix. They have a great variety in eating options, from Himalayan to Greek to fried chicken to the classic seafood/ Creole of the south. Oh, and a coffee shop that has THE BEST cold brew I have EVER tried. Ever. Period. I don’t know how this vanilla cold brew could ever be topped. That seems like a very dramatic statement but wait until you try it. St. Roch has something for every preference!

Part of the cool and eclectic St Roch Market, Coast Roast serves everything fresh with good customer service. I’ll come back for the sweet, vanilla cream cold brew. That was delicious. The Cubanito was perfect. I love the bar! Thank you.

I had been wanting to visit this place since I found out it became a food hall. Plenty options, everyone was super polite (except the coffee chic) the food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing. We opted for Vietnamese food. We had pork flatbread tacos and pork belly phõ. The tacos blew my mind, very different. Ohhh and get the ooey gooey cake from the burger guy, it was life.

A interesting place to grab food with many different ethnic dishes to choose from. The atmosphere is very relaxed with children eating running around and enjoying themselves. This is a must to check out while in New Orleans.

This indoor food court is one of my favorite places in all of New Orleans. I love the wide varieties of food available, and they are all so artistically prepared and presented. Every order seems like a feast, or a mini-feast, a celebration of deliciousness. I also enjoy simply sitting and relaxing here with members of my family. I’ve visited here at all times of day - the quiet early hours before all the restaurants have even opened... the busy, noisy, crowded midday times when everybody in NOLA seems to be coming to order lunch... the mellow evening hours, too. It’s always fun, and the food is always delightful.

The Salted Pearl is absolutely phenomenal. The Crabmeat Au Gratin is divine, oyster happy hour is great and their lobster mac and cheese is one of the best in the city.

I am never disappointed by the quality and selection of food and beverages. The phenomenal women at Junkaroos have ruined me for all time their jerk chicken tacos and ginger lemonade! If you're a foodie, Junkaroos is a must, but all the other vendors won't disappoint you either.

These days every town is opening up its own glorified food court but St. Roch is a food hall with actually interesting and high quality offerings. The creole and seafood shop (Fete Au Fete) is the place to visit, as well as the coffee shop. They also offer Haitian food, asian fare, and a bake shop among other things. I’m excited to see how this market develops.

Love the options. Plenty of parking, wonderful staff, fresh and sanitary. There's such great selections. Hit up the sushi bar for a poke bowl and expect a lot for your money, Thai tea was already blended, red beans n rice was delicious...missed cornbread but closet thing to heaven on earth is the pastry bar(!)melt in ur mouth rolls and rich coffee. A must with a wonderful mature crowd.

I was recommended to try this place from a friend who visited. My husband and I went and there were a decent amount of food options. Although we were there before the closing time, some of the places were not open or were out of items. I felt like they had options for everyone. I got a grilled cheese from the "olive cheese and crackers" place. The pasta salad was different and really good & the homemade sweet tea was amazing. The guy working there was also really nice. My husband got tacos from a place when you first go in on the right (sorry forgot the name). We both really enjoyed our meals. A bit pricey but what isnt these days.

I really like the variety of options here, if you have to feed a group of people and can't agree on a spot this is a good option for being able to try a bunch of different things and make everybody happy! It's in an historic market, so it's a really beautiful space to with big cast iron columns in the middle and high ceilings. It started off on rocky ground when it opened after Katrina with a reputation for "gentrifying the neighborhood" but it's a place that allows small businesses to start off and thrive in a common kitchen that makes it afffordable for them. It has new ownership under Kevin and I think it's a much more positive, happy place!

The vibe here is laid-back and relaxing, making it a great spot to unwind and sample a variety of dishes. With so many different options, it’s perfect for when you want to try a little bit of everything. We ordered the falafel platter to-go, and it was fantastic — the falafel was crispy and flavorful, and the tzatziki dip was creamy, cool, and refreshing. The oysters were large and tasted great, though they could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly as there was some noticeable sediment on the shells. That said, the charbroiled oysters were a highlight — served warm with melty cheese that took them to the next level. Overall, this is a solid spot for drinks and dinner when you're looking for a relaxed, enjoyable night out.

I will return to this spot soon. The food was so fresh and tasty and clean. I've never tried this type of rice pudding bread pudding with coconut cream. The pasta salad was spicy with tofu. Just the right amount of dressing. I could see the dude making my plates from scratch with such care I felt like I was being cooked for at my friend's house. Definitely personable and appreciated.

A good place from eating and drinking. It has lot of options to choose. I ate at EmpaNola. It was delicious. The atmosphere is very casual, with option for open seating. You can just go in, order your food and sit anywhere you find a seat.

Stand 1: Had humus, baba ganoush, with pita, chicken and eggplant. Beautiful food. Stand 2: Had pho. It was made with vermicelli noodles and wasn’t served with bean sprouts or basil. Far from authentic. On a subsequent visit we were told that the beans sprouts and basil are provided on request only, as most customers don’t use it and then it goes to waste. Stand 3: The oysters were freshly shucked, the gumbo was nothing to get excited about. A very nice venue with pleasant lighting and a lovely interior. It was smaller than expected.

Very cute food hall with a great variety of flavors (but not too many that it's difficult to choose)! I was surprised at how easy it was to find a place to dine in around the lunch hour. Staff keep the place clean by bussing tables quickly.

Pretty great place. Bright and spacious, lot of great food options. The crawfish Rangoon at the Thai booth was amazing.

This place is like something from Portlandia. This is gentrification close to it's ultimate form. Let's go to St. Roch to drink and complain about this after we eat here.

I’ve been here way two much each photo is from a different time and restaurant lol. I love that this place is full of choices and variety in culture, food and vibe each kiosk brings something different to the table. It’s great for having meetings and meetups and there are some pretty fantastic chefs that come through here. My favorite part about eating here is that it’s almost never the same restaurant and most of the chefs go on to own their own restaurants and I think that’s just beautiful. Also there is no wait staff sometimes the different chefs may serve you but not always, and you have to find your own silverware sometimes you have to wait on that but you’ll love it here it’s near a lot of aesthetically pleasing buildings and shops.

There's so many places to eat from. Daily Beets is where I chose to eat. Delightful and flavorful. My dish was called the Chimi Chimi. Filling bowl. Great for breakfast or brunch. I love the different textures between the crunch from the pumpkin seeds the creaminess from the avocado and crisp from the leafy greens. To top it off with feta cheese, yum! Definitely give this place a try whenever you're in the NOLA area! *Bonus photos I took of my friend's and sister's dish.* Also, don't forget to try their cold-pressed juices.

Always enjoy visiting St. Roch Market when I'm in New Orleans. Good selection of vendors serving very different foods with a small bar (with a great bottled wine selection) at the back of the building. This place has so much potential. Visited three times in the last week and most traders were unfortunately closed, still managed to grab a nice beer at the bar though. Just came for breakfast and enjoyed the sausage and cheese biscuit. Definitely worth a visit, just hope that more people start making use of the place.

In a neighborhood full of murals is a food hall. With free onsite parking, St. Roch Market is one open space with a handful of vendors selling coffee, tacos, pho, and more. For lunch, my wife enjoyed the pho and I the laksa (a Malaysian soup). After eating, the staff bus your food for you.

Great place to get a good variety of food from different places around the world. The outside seating on a nice day is extra special. It's kid friendly but depending on their taste, they may not like everything on the menus. My picky 14 year old liked the spring rolls and avocado toast. My 9 year old liked the mexican burrito bowl. I had some middle eastern food that was delicious and filling. The only reason for dour stars is the wait times can be a little long and the prices seems slightly high, otherwise we loved it.

Not gone hold you, but the entire place is med. Like they wanna be New York and Chicago so bad. Sometimes you just want some regular and reasonable stuff. This ain't it. The gas station down the street is better.

I first ordered Elysian Seafood's lunch special which was the shrimp remoulade sandwich and seafood gumbo combo. The gumbo flavor was not good and the rice wasn't cooked. The sandwich was fine though. My wife ordered from Fritai and had the crispy pork plate and it was all fat! She gave it a try but could only manage a few bites. The flavor was good but there just wasn't any protein in the chunks of meat. We both had two drinks each at the Mayhaw Bar. She had two Rose's both with generous pours and I had the Covington PILS. They were both refreshing and delicious. We're about to leave but my wife was still hungry so I ordered her the Bao Buns from T2 street food and they were the best! Fresh pickled veggies with two sweet and tangy pulled pork and one Chinese sausage stuffed in those hot off the steamer bao buns... They really were the best bites to get at this market. Overall I think the prices were kind of high for what you get (except at T2) but I would give them another shot if I return to NOLA.

Sr. Roch Market was clean and we found on-street parking. Several vendors were closed at 2:30 on Friday afternoon. We chose to eat lunch at Genev and it's the only time we were disappointed during this New Orleans trip. The food (red beans, hash browns, beef Po Boy, and lemonade) took about twenty five minutes to prepare. The $15.50 Po Boy was 6" long and had very little roast beef. The rice and beans were tasty. The hash browns tasted as if they were leftovers that had been warmed up too many times. The cup for the lemonade was about 95% full of ice leaving little room for the $5.50 beverage. Fortunately, the server refilled the cup when asked. The server seemed to be filling in for someone and that may be part of the reason the food prep took so long. Although I appreciated the meat-free red beans option, I would definitely try a different vendor should I return to St. Roch Market.

Food market with several options of food types with a bar at the back serving alcoholic drinks. We had the Gumbo which was missing the sausage and tasted ok, the cocktails are interesting combinations but average. We didn't try any other food vendors so they could be better. Overall if you want a place to get something very quickly to eat then St Roch Market is your place.

Nice pit stop to my air bnb in Bywater. Different options for food, with lots of seating. The only issue we had is hunting down the person to take my order for oysters. I assume he had great customer service skills, as he only spoke to another patron that didn't purchase anything from that venue. I think we interrupted an on going conversation 🤔, and he wasn't very interested in speaking with us or taking my order. However, the oysters were good, but the experience makes it hard to rate high.

Ordered a shrimp creole but came with this - no shrimp inside, not even a tiny little part of shrimp 🥲
