Miccosukee Restaurant Miami Reviews
We stayed here overnight. The room was great, as was the breakfast. We were able to start our vacation well rested the next day. Unfortunately, the room smelled of cigarette smoke in the morning because one of the guests in the next room had been smoking. We complained and the manager promised to give us a discount. Very friendly.
I’ve stayed at the Miccosukee Casino & Resort three times, and every visit has been excellent! The staff are always polite and helpful, and the service is great. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. The area around the hotel is nice and convenient, and the casino has a fun and lively atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.
Awesome friendly staff. Amazing time there. Will definitely be back again and again. Thanks to the Miccosukee casino.
We spent 2 nights at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and comfortable. All employees were kind and helpful. They had plenty of slot machines to choose from. They play high stakes bingo! The food was good at the LA BRISA restaurant inside the casino. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice getaway!
Room was very clean! Casino was very nice has some great restaurants
I recently attended a corporate party at this hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The staff was outstanding—extremely supportive and attentive. Angel, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, taking exceptional care of us. I can't remember the lady in charge of events, she was also great! The rooms were not only comfortable but also far exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and cleanliness. I was pleasantly surprised by how impressive the hotel was overall. It truly made the entire event even more enjoyable.
Very nice place. A lot things to do. The Poker Room. Have the best promotions in town.
Best place to play games. But they don't have any Monthly gaming subscription plan. They should at least add an all you want to play monthly subscription. Maybe not for $30 but it can be for example a $500 or $1000 monthly game subscription for machines. I'm sure a lot of people would subscribe to the Casino
Today I visited the poker room with my husband and the service was very good, the cleanliness was superb, and the staff were very friendly.
Stopped in for a quick visit to the casino, nice to have smoking in seperate building.
One of my fondest memories is spending a day at the casino with my parents. The experience was made even more special by a unique outdoor event featuring alligator wrestling, mouthwatering BBQ or a variety of delicious local cuisines, and the fun carnival-esque activities. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with an amazing community of people and talented performers making the day truly unforgettable. Inside the casino, the experience was just as exceptional. Whether you prefer to gamble big or small, there’s something for everyone, and the fun never stops. I particularly appreciated the complimentary coffee and drinks offered while playing the slot machines—it’s those little touches that make a big difference. While I haven’t been to many casinos, I can confidently say this is the best one I’ve visited. In my opinion, it rivals—or even surpasses—others in terms of quality and enjoyment. I sincerely hope this fine establishment and its wonderful staff continue to thrive, creating incredible memories for everyone who visits.
Lots and lots of slots. Finding food was difficult. One restaurant doesn't open until 12p. The waitress walking the floor didn't seem to serve anyone as far as I saw. You get $10 for signing up for their rewards program. The clubs are fun and lively. The rooms are great. Free breakfast buffet when you stay there.
We had a lovely New Year's celebration there 😀.
After driving for 18 hours, we arrived to a super friendly staff. Michael, the night auditor, was incredibly helpful with our last-minute room request. We didn’t realize the hotel was also part of a casino on the Miccosukke Indian reservation. Instead of being cramped and unsafe in downtown Miami, we were able to stay comfortably at the hotel - plus enjoy a variety of fun (adults only) entertainment all under one roof—bingo, casino games, live music, drinks and food. The casino floor was clean, with a good mix of slot machines. They had a cash poker game available. Bingo was offered on certain days as well. Although there were designated smoking areas, the smoke didn’t spill over into the general areas, which was a nice touch. Even with all the live music and action of the slot machines – you couldn’t hear it in the hotel rooms. Very peaceful rest - at all hours of the day or night. Food options ranged from very inexpensive to moderately priced. There was plenty of safe parking, even for oversized vehicles. The Indian reservation staff regularly patrolled to ensure a safe environment for everyone. I would stay here every time I visit the Keys.
Slots slots slots. No table Tables here. Food court is not open all the time. Its very clean. If your bored and need a thrill can get it here. Wouldn't travel far to visit but if passing by its worth a stop
Had a great time, small problem with the toilet in our room, however 5 minutes after calling the front desk maintenance was there and fixed it within 20 minutes.
We stayed overnight in their RV parking lot, when traveling through. We checked in and spent the evening enjoying ourselves in the Casino. We played, and ate. Very inexpensive to park our RV overnight and definitely worth the cost. Very safe, security patrols all night, great location for a quick overnight. Will definitely be back when coming through.
Beautiful place and people. A great experience...sp close to air boats and great food
Great! Here's an enthusiastic review for a casino—feel free to tweak any details to match your exact experience. The gaming floor is huge and super well-maintained. Whether you're into slots, poker, blackjack, or roulette, there's a table or machine calling your name. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great tips if you're new to a game. What really sealed the deal for me was the vibe. Everyone was having a great time, and it felt like the kind of place where big wins and great memories are made. I’m already planning my next visit! 🎲 Highly recommend for a night out, a weekend getaway, or just a taste of that high-energy casino thrill!
Was here for the casino. Wonderful venue for slot machines, accessibility and variety of tables. Event rooms on the second floor is accessible through the escalators. Will be back for an event in November.
Great place to stay. Room was very spacious and comfortable and I expected to be charged more than I paid for the night. I'm not a gambler so I can't really comment on the casino. Food offerings were good though.
Large quiet casino, tons of slots but only poker tables no roulette or craps. Small slot area for smokers the largest slot areas are all non-smoking. Restaurant, conference rooms and some small shops.
Everything you need to spend a good time if you like gambling! 4 restaurants and bars and a pool . And live music to sit down to great staff and service. Just wish they had a small fridge in room that's the only thing.
Excellent service all around from Trey and Martha at the front desk. Made everything easy and smooth, definitely recommend a stay!
Nice place, looks beautiful, thanks a lot to the night shifter who helped me to solve some issues about my trip to LAX.
Me and my wife love to stay here away from all the miami traffic when we're down in south Florida and there's so much to do around the area
This is a great place to stay if you’re going on a cruise, especially with a group and you would like to leave some vehicles there for the free parking for the week.
Looking around for a place to stay to escape the northern winter I found this place with great reviews. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, nicely appointed and in good repair. Maid service was prompt and friendly. It was easy to find and a great gateway to the Everglades. Drawbacks were minor, no fitness center on site and having to traverse the casino every time coming and going-not shocking though as that’s the reason for being. Plus, the picture of the pool though lovely looking is no longer as they turned that into a smoking casino. The resort name is currently a misnomer, it’s just casino, hotel and conference center.
Our non-smoking room was clean and spacious, with a super comfortable bed, nice sheets, and a spacious bathroom. Also the hotel portion of this casino resort features a non-smoking casino, which we really appreciated as we didn’t have to breathe in smoke when checking in or walking to a restaurant, like in other casino resorts. Breakfast was included with our room, but it was a very basic hot hotel breakfast, nothing special. If not included in a room deal, it costs $15 per person, which we personally wouldn’t pay. The location is excellent for visiting the Everglades and doing airboat tours. There’s also a row of Tesla chargers in the parking lot, including both DC fast chargers and free Level 2 chargers which were unexpectedly quick at 11 kWs, making it extremely convenient for charging our EV while staying overnight.
Very nice area for rv's. We didn't get any vouchers to them casino but went & enjoyed it. Had a nice meal at the restaurant, the snapper was delicious & beautifully played. Security is nice & visible. Staff is helpful & polite
Super fun night. It was my first time at Casino bingo. The staff was so helpful explaining the machines and paper cards. There was a very nice selection of food from the café. Plenty of slots that were fun to try. There was a separate smoking slots area for those wanting to smoke and win big!! Highly recommend.
Fun spot to stop over and stay while visiting the Everglades (right near the 41 entrance). For your first time they give you a free drink and $10 casino game credit if you sign up for their loyalty card. It's well done for a stand alone casino (nice bar and drinks, good vibe).
Visited Miccosukee Casino and Resort last night for the first time and had a great experience! I was pretty nervous since I’d never been to a casino before, but Jose, one of the slot technicians, really made my night. He helped me figure out how to use the machines and was super patient and friendly about it. His customer service was amazing and made me feel so much more comfortable. The whole place was nice and everyone was welcoming.
Winning isn't everything sometimes just enjoying how fun it is to play makes it worth the trip. Take it from me as someone who goes weekly and has walked out of there and has seen people walk out with $35,000 & $24,000 & $2,000 & $12,000 etc. Perhaps that's why people don't win as often as they would like. They go there obsessed with wanting to win and don't get me wrong it's sensational to hit the jackpot. But honestly I love this place, the sounds, the staff, the drinks. The upgrades they've made feels like a 5 start Las Vegas Casino Hotel. I enjoy the games very much win or not. After all, it's just money... it's not a kidney transplant. It's a great place to enjoy yourself and just have fun.
We were heading back to Michigan from the Florida Keys. We paid $25 to overnight in their very secure parking lot. It was quiet and safe. Slept like a baby. Did not gamble, but what great service! Do not attempt to stay over unless you have a pass. You will be awakened. 🥰
Stayed over nite in the RV in the well lit parking lot. (Note: there is a small fee). Enjoyed a little gambling before heading off to the Keys.
Nice casino. I went in for a quick bathroom brake while charging the Tesla coming across 41, the original Alligator Alley. Everything was clean and shine. All the bells going off just like I was in Vegas. Centrally located to catch everyone going to or coming from the Keys and on the outskirts of Miami. Good charging stations.
We only played the slots, which seemed to be tight. The wide selection of machines seemed to be new and there was a wide variety to choose from. The place was extremely clean which was nice. Plenty of staff to answer questions. I would go again when in the area.
We got the suite with 2 queen beds. The room was extremely clean and did not smell. The beds were comfortable and it was a nice quiet good night's sleep. My only complaint was breakfast. They offered 2 complimentary breakfasts and we had to purchase the other 2 (for a total of $33). It was buffet style, the eggs were watery and the coffee was cold. I would recommend going out for the breakfast. Other than that, it was a nice clean hotel.
Very Comfortable and convient for visiting the Everglades. Food here is very good!!! Staff are very friendly.
The front desk lady was very nice. Most of the staff are super nice. Didn’t like that there’s only two options for food. One B1; is hidden. The food was not good; reason for my deducing a star. The other, we did not try as the food over priced. We tried to eat at the taco place but that opens at 10 PM!! The rooms were great sized and the beds were so comfortable!
Went to the casino side only. Lots and lots of Slot machines. Had fun.
It was okay... They had some entertainment a band was there. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was down and coming from Ohio which freezing I look forward to having a dip in the pool. They would not accommodate you with anything else such as a free lunch or drink it was like oh well it's on the website. Yes after I book it I saw that the facilities weren't in order. Three elevators and only two worked at a time Unfortunately although it had a nice casino I would never go there again
It has improved a lot. About the rooms, I know people who has stayed there but I only populate my personal experience. They are making more improvements by remodeling and modernizing the place.
Trucker, so I parked at the truck stop across the street. Website says to park at the casino, you have to pay for a room, but I travel with my room, no need to buy another one. I did enjoy my visit. Saw a man win $10K and another win $1500. Small but busy and friendly people.
I really enjoy coming to this casino and have had a great time playing here. I've even had some decent wins, which is always a plus! The overall atmosphere and experience on the floor are fantastic. However, I've had a recurring issue with one specific bartender, Giselle. She has been consistently rude to me and my guests. I've brought my husband and a cousin here on separate occasions, and both have said they don't want to return because of how she treated them. I hope this is something the management can address, as it's a shame to have one person's attitude ruin an otherwise great experience
Not the most newest versions of slots, but they have alof of slots to choose from inbetween 2-3 rooms. I also loved that it doesnt smell like cigarette smoke . Big poker room too.
Room and casino was very clean. Plenty of parking on the back side parking lot to accommodate our rv which we got a carcass for after checking into our room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic . It had scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, sausage, homefried potatoes, cereal, toast, pastries, juice coffee and tea.
They had some retro slots, that was fun to see. Full service restaurant looked nice but we ended up dining at cafe. Food was decent.
It was a nice room. I have sensitive skin and the sheets didn’t smell like they had bleach and they didn’t irritate me at all. Huge plus for me! I think they were cotton. Only bad thing is if you don’t like the smell of cigarettes is that you will smell it going on the elevator but in the room we didn’t smell anything.
We stayed here after our flight was delayed in Miami during "winter storm Fern". It was an absolute mess at the airport and the only remaining hotel rooms in the immediate area were listed at around $2k a night. I planned on sleeping on the floor at the airport, until my wife found the Miccosukee Casino/Resort. We admittedly were very tired during our stay, which was a brief overnight. So, I can't comment on the casino tables and games, conference rooms, and other amenities like that. But here's the good stuff that I remember: They had a courtesy shuttle to and from the airport. It was clean and prompt. The room was clean, had the basic cosmetic necessities, there was ample space, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant had decent food and looked like it had a good atmosphere. We placed an order and took it up to our room, so I can't speak to the service. They offered reasonable rates and didn't use the stranded fights as an opportunity to price gouge, which I respected. The reason for the deductions on the service and location is related to the nature of my visit, so take that into consideration. In regards to the location, it was around 17 miles or so from the Airport, which can take some time to travel due to local traffic. In regards to the service, we mostly stayed here because of the shuttle service, to and from the airport. But, the shuttle service doesn't start running until around 10am in the morning, if I remember correctly. We didn't know this until we arrived, were checking in, and inquired as to what time we should be down for our return shuttle. We ended up having to get a Lyft to get us to airport in morning. I feel a place that offers shuttle service should just staff it 24hrs or at least in a way that covers early flight departures. I've visited other areas associated with the Miccosukee Tribe during prior visits to South FL/Everglades, and have always had a pleasant experience. This was no different, and I recommend you consider staying at this resort if you're in need of lodging in the area.
My only complaint is the property maintained blowing the parking lot at 730 in am,and the parking lot reaking of piss! Staff all around are friendly. I dont gamble, used the hotel to be close to shark valley national park. I would stay here again. Drinks are pricey
Very nice experience walking in. The front staff were friendly & courteous. The elevators were fast & secure. The Deluxe King Suite was clean & comfortable. Everything was functional but dated. The bar area had no sink but it did have a fridge & microwave. Overall pleased with the room and rate $200 nightly. If you're a first time member you get $10 of free play & a free game of bingo. Our friends also got a free drink. The slots were loose enough to keep us playing for several hours. The West wing had a urine dingy odor to it. We stayed away, that's where the poker room is. The pool & gym were under renovation & will be for several months to come. Cam at the membership desk said he doesn't think they'll ever finish renovating. Alcoholic drinks start at $7 depending on where you go. There is a convenient nearby gas station though. Overall it was a nice older hotel & we enjoyed our time.
It’s a really great place but I wish they could do better in checking in people. Like if you are traveling, and you are so tired, you will get more tired because of how long the process of checking in people. The line is very long. The waiting is very long and I feel like the front desk Employee doesn’t know what they’re doing. If they could put at least three front desk employee, it will make the check in faster. It’s just so frustrating because all you wanna do when you get to your hotel is to rest and not to wait almost an hour just to get into your room.
This place is nice but just know the "Total" price I received after making my reservation is not final, once you check in, there's an additional $10 added. Also, fridges are not standard in all rooms for whatever reason, you can request one for an additional $15. This is in Miami, FL in the year 2025, even 2 star hotels have fridges.
Stayed 3 nights. Deluxe king room was small with no small fridge. I called and they brought one to the room right away. Bed was very hard and the sheets were not soft. For the money I spent I expected these things . Also, if you speak Spanish, which I only know a few words, it would be very helpful.
Ordered foods at the food court. Ordered a meal with a water after 20 minutes finally my buzzer went off . Walked to the counter and was totally ignored. After 15 more minutes I yelled out to a server who totally ignored me. Woman standing next to me said there's only two people in the whole place that speak English. So I got my meal cold and had to go back a second time to get my water. I don't care when they are and where the people there are from. This is still America have the decency to have a bilingual staff.
My review is for the casino. If you like slots then come here. They don't have any video table games. Just Slots, live poker, live bingo. It is a pretty clean place.
Pool under renovation so we could not use it. Room smelled horrible, musty and the bathroom little bit of cigarette smell. Carpets are stained and the clothes hangers were sticky probably never cleaned. Overall for a $240 a night room, it was not worth it at all. Breakfast was also below average, coffee tasted watered down and the eggs no taste at all, the bacon was decent. Couldn’t tell which was turkey sausage and which pork, the signs they had for both were in a position where you could not distinguish between the two. Workers here don’t seem to be happy about having a job.
Limited number of machines. Major (fancy) serviced, sit down restaurants are closed. Only offer quick snacks, pastelitos, coffee, soda. Bar is available. Plenty of free parking. $10 free play for new members.
This hotel smells so weird. The front desk guy gave us half the information on the airport shuttle. And straight up lied about them not having ibuprofen. The free breakfast buffet was actually pretty good. But the other meals are overpriced and not great quality. Plus it’s so far from the airport and the main Miami airport, there’s nothing really around there to do.
I don't gamble. I used to eat Brunch there. No longer. Too expensive and reduced menu.
Rooms were a little out dated but clean. No pool and the golf course they advertise about is several miles away. There is no fridge or microwave in the room and the closest store is a ways away. There was doing construction above our room that started every morning at 9 am. It’s also located way away from Everything in Miami
Room smells like cigarettes even though its non smoker room. Had to change room but the room still smells like smoke. Woke up the next day coughing and sore throat. Casino is a good size with lots of machine but no table games, only poker. So hard to win on machine and get free games. Even if you get free games, you don't win anything.
Very sadden and disappointing experience. We booked over with booking disclaimer wasn’t given after purchase via email .For breakfast not included for all guest only 2 per guest and pool under renovation and gym. We reserve 2 room day before coming 6 adults and 2 children and it was my birthday why last minute purchase by my mother. Therefore, booking doesn’t allowed to cancel for same day purchase. Email was sent after purchase but my mother didn’t realize that email was pertaining to a disclaimer after purchase. No microwave in the whole resort as a complimentary amenity for guest. Only for purchase rental. Mind you no pool and other amenities . I feel like my mother was ripped off due to misleading advertising breakfast was not included for all. I couldn’t heat up food for my child . Where is the customer service and failing to provide service when they failed to provide amenities and rooms are expensive for a total of 500 spent for one night in rooms . At least the should have accommodate a microwave for my family. Then when I left to buy food for my kids . I am the only person asked as I walk in if I have a room here . Are you kidding me . Never will I book at this hotel the customer service aspect down the drain. A lady at the restaurant asked for her table to be clean and the server said you can get napkins and clean. Wow very disappointed and a waste of my money.
We are a group and will just stay for the night. I am with my husband. We were tired from a long flight and we only had one request but to be together in a room since they put 2 person in each room. The lady in reception doesn’t bother to arrange it for us. She did not even show some empathy or care. She never explain why and just repeatedly saying she cannot do it. There is another couple that wants to be together and told we can swap. But the reception lady is like smirking and looks bitter. She treats us very poorly. Rooms are outdated especially the toilet. Location is far. Food is just okay. Did not enjoy our stay there.
Think it was total BS that they charged me well over $200 and there was no pool. Should have been clearly identified in the listing. Discounts should have been applied!!
I’ll keep this short: This morning I found a FULL-SIZE COCKROACH 🪳 and ants in the room. And where there’s one… there’s more. But hey, if you tell the staff they will discount your stay by $20 AND ensure you that you get your $250 deposit back, so there’s that. The Casino portion was fine. Complementary breakfast was alright but not alright enough to make up for the infestation in the room. (I ate before finding the bugs 😐) I will not be a returning customer.
⛽️ Be carefull with GAS!!!! — only buy enough to get to the next gas station. The price there is more than $1 per gallon higher than elsewhere.” That is not good.
Unfortunately we will find a different place to stay the next time we are in the area.
This place is a total loss. They have no credibility and the machines don't pay like they did years ago. The raffles? Big scam. I've seen people lose thousands of dollars without the machine making any payouts.
Bartender Giselle in the high limit slots was incredibly rude for no reason. She refused to give me a complimentary drink after my wife and I spent hours playing there. We left the section for a little and came back. Everything else was great.
456 room, 528 room. Dont take them. Zero customer service. Tubs are wavy with water underneath.
I will never come back to any of your places ever again not really into the way other people take up machines not even on them but leave money on them so no one else can play if you ask me that is not responsible or responsible gaming that is being selfish and rude. I was at little trales yesterday and a person that had money on a machine no card didn’t see anybody at the machine so I put 20 $ in it and then he came up and said not in English Spanish that I don’t speak said something and would not even give me the money I put in the machine very rude when he had over 600 $ on the machine did not even offer to give me back my money. So if this is the way that your place is being ran no thanks. Thomas a Boyce
Let me start by saying that we booked this room with high hopes. We reserved a suite with a jetted tub, which initially seemed nice. However, when we entered the room, the tub was dirty and still contained hair from the previous guest. My wife had to get on her hands and knees to scrub it clean. Additionally, we encountered some unwanted visitors of the creepy-crawly variety in our room. The bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on in my life; my wife and I would have been better off sleeping in the tub. While the staff were friendly, they struggled to resolve the issues we faced. As a perk for renting the room, the casino was supposed to provide us with $10 each. I understand that $10 isn't a lot, but the problem arose when we tried to use it and found it wasn’t on the cards. We went to the front desk to address the issue, but no one could help us. They assured us they would make a note of the problem and that someone would be in touch. I suspect that no one will follow up. I appreciate the idea behind the hotel and support for the indigenous community, which makes it difficult for me to give this hotel a one-star rating. However, that’s the only rating I can provide at this time. I plan to give them another chance, as this was our first stay at the hotel, and I hope for better results next time. Stay tuned for more updates.
OMG, I rented a room for 2 nights for 3 people. I explained my friends are coming from California, and wanted to show them a good time. So I made the reservation and drove to the hotel first to make sure everything was ok. Unfortunately the room wasn’t, no refrigerator, no view outside and I paid the same as Miami Beach hotels. The view was blocked by a roof from other buildings. I went down stairs and complained about it , explaining the importance of looking the view for people who are visiting from another state. So they given me another but this time I left without checking it. When we all came back they had given me one like 2 stories higher but the windows outside were so dirty we can’t see out much. At this point I just felt like leaving the hotel, but they give us a room with a balcony, bring a refrigerator, and from that moment on we started to enjoy the vacations, but unfortunately the TV wasn’t working and we called for help, someone came but he wasn’t trained to do it, and finally someone came to help, the real reasons from giving complaints is because I did work more than having fun. Later we wanted to do something, like playing but unfortunately the deal was to long to wait. Like they give us a card to play and is also $10 only , but they took so long to clear the game and the card, that we lost all the interested. At that point I just want to forget it. And exactly that’s what I did . We never got to used the 3 cards . So the following morning we went to have the free breakfast, but to our surprise it was only for 2 people and $50 for those like me. At the end we left very disappointed, specially me that paid for it and never got to play in the casino.
You guys should just check IDs at the front and then stop with the questioning. I am newly 21 and I got stopped by security every single time I would move around the casino, I just left after 10 minutes in there it was so annoying
I was really disappointed with my stay at Miccosukee Casino & Resort. They charge a $250 deposit and a $10 resort fee, but there’s nothing that makes it feel like a resort. no pool, and the bathtub was dented. My room was also way at the end of a long hallway, which was inconvenient. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t be coming back.
Worst Casino in the country. First of all it’s like a ghost town, zero atmosphere. Then at their main bar, worst bartender in South Florida, and that’s saying a lot considering how bad the service is in Miami in general. May I remind you at a Casino where alcohol is their best friend. Bartender was rude, unprofessional, and basically kicked me out because he was swamped with the two other customers who were there. Never again and stay away from
No buffet no place to eat like before Too bad that I have to drive to hard rock
“Resort” without pool, without spa, without laundry!! Wasn’t good experience, I will not do it again.
The rooms we're not up to date old furniture no soap in the bathroom the complimentary coffee tasted terrible and they didn't tell me I had to put up a $250 deposit for the Hotel,
After I made a 2 night reservation on Hotels.com which it stated that the pool and gym was open I found out that the pool and the gym is closed. There is nothing on the Hotel website that the gym and the pool is closed for revocation. After I contacted Hotels.com to get an authorization so that the hotel can give us a refund because we were coming from far and the main reason was the pool and the gym since they are far from the beach there is no communication from the Hotel manager which seem to be avoiding any type of communication. This is horrible advertising of the property.
Bad service, front desk employees don't care. When I asked them to repeat the instructions during check in , she rolled her eyes. Terrible experience, no basic eminities provided at the room when I asked them they said it's chargeable. Airport shuttle was not coming on time waited there for almost 2 hours. When all other hotels nearby had rotatin for their shuttes atleast 4 times.
What a disaster this place is. My wife, daughter and I decided to spend one night here before our cruise after reading reviews that it was family friendly and moderately priced for Miami. We were sadly mistaken. The problems started with booking through the resort website and then realizing it was $140 more per night than Expedia after all the fees. This was our fault, but still a bad experience. It then lead to check-in that took forever because I did not speak Spanish and the clerk did. I got past this, as it is Miami. We got to our severely outdated room, but it was clean so we decided to make the best of it. My wife and I went and played some slots to try and have fun. We then decided we were hungry so went up to the room to get our 14 yr old daughter that had absolutely zero things to do at this so called resort. I don’t believe I ever even saw a pool. It is definitely not a family friendly place. As we were all walking to try to find the only decent priced restaurant here, I was stopped and told that my daughter couldn’t be in that area because she was underage and we would need to be escorted to the restaurant that was obviously an employee cafeteria and had been changed to accommodate certain guests. The meal there wasn’t terrible for the cost and we went back to the room to hangout with her for a while. Dead asleep at 12:45 am, an alarm starts going off telling us to evacuate to the nearest exit and not use the elevator. We complied until we got steps from going out the emergency exit where a hotel security guard stopped us and told us not to go out that exit, then tucked himself back away in an office with no explanation of the alarm. We then went back to the lobby and discovered that this elevators were now not working and we’d need to find others. Again, no explanation as to why we’re were awoken from sleep at such an hour. We finally made it back to the room where none of us could sleep for the rest of the night due to such a poor experience. Will definitely not be back and will tell anyone we talk to that they should stay far away from this place. Leave it to the locals
I stopped by this place while visiting from Pennsylvania. I won some money however the bill breaker ejected my money but then sucked it right back into the machine. I went to the desk and was advised they could see it in the computer so I went with the cage manager to the bill breaker machine. She said since someone used it after me I would have to wait until they counted the money and to come back the next day. I advised them I was flying out and she gave me a refund form and advised me someone would call me and that they would mail me a check after. I was told the only problem is when they call they speak Spanish not English. I have been home for almost a week and no phone call or refund. I sent an email to the tribal gaming commission and have not heard from them. I will be contacting a representative from Florida to see what my next steps are. Bottom line if you lose they keep your money and if you win they steal from you. Very bad business and I am not done yet!!!
Where do i start. Ok. Well, if you are not there to gamble, or if you are not there for an event or party, I don't think it's the best place to be. Suites are not cheap. Very roomy though, in fact, one of the biggest I've seen outside of Vegas. But it's so outdated, dark and dingy. While im there to play, I want a good experience in the room. The rugs had spots on them, sheets had MANY stains on them. The mattress had multiple broken springs. The shower door didn't close right which in turn caused the water to seep into the toilet area. When we asked housekeeping for extra pillows and blankets, we got a response of "you already have 3 pillows on each bed." Yeah... wrong answer guy. 1 elevator was out of service, the 2nd one did not read the room cards, so we all had to use one elevator. The whole 2nd floor is pretty much devoid of all the stuff that use to be there. And dining options are limited now. While not horribly far from the resort, a trip to a local restaurant is necessary if you do not wish to blow all you money on food so you have some money to play with. I heard that they are renovating the resort. I hope so because this experience was night and day compared to my previous visit a few years back.
The transportation from the Airport to the hotel is nowhere to find. Many times(booked hotel from zhe Company) I arrived to a door 22, waiting for a shuttle service at the working time(up to 07:30pm) so far never had the "plesaure" of shuttle service. Waiting for more then 2 hours is not the customer service. I had to pay 80$ from my pocket to reach the Hotel. Hotel needs huge improvement about elevatores, AC(Stinks on cigarete smoke) and the food variance. Rooms are clean, happy about that.
Nice resort as long as you don't gamble. They have a wide variety of slots and gambling. They even have a reward program that no one knows how to use. Normally casinos want to retain customers through reward programs but theirs is set up to drive them away. So after staying at their hotel i got free Continental breakfast. But after gambling and getting a complimentary room apparently they remove complimentary items such as breakfast. No need in a reward program that removes benefits.

La comida para los crew members es pésima. Solo ofrecen un menú para la cena y en el desayuno no ponen ni jugo de naranja. Dinner: nachos con carne molida, con sabor raro.
