At Mojitos Calle 8, we're passionate about sharing the vibrant flavors of Cuba and Latin America with our community in Miami. Our expert chefs craft dishes like the beloved Mojito del Balsero, featuring crispy platano, fresh chicken salad, and sweet malanga fritters. In a cozy setting, our beautiful outdoor patio invites you to unwind amidst the warmth of tropical decor. Exceptional service is always on hand, thanks to attentive staff members like Maria and Danellis, who ensure an unforgettable dining experience for every guest.
Mojitos Calle 8 is praised for its excellent service, delicious food, and lively atmosphere. Maria and Danellis are repeatedly mentioned for providing outstanding service. A minor complaint is about the presentation of the 'tabla delicias cubanas'.
Tip: Ask for Maria or Danellis for excellent service. Some days there are performances by well-known artists.
The food was absolutely amazing everything we ordered was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Each dish came out fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious from start to finish. On top of the great food, the service truly stood out. Our waitress, Danellis, was exceptional very attentive, friendly, and professional. She checked in on us at just the right times, made sure everything was perfect, and created a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere throughout our meal. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience with great food and outstanding service. We will definitely be back!
Our server Nester was amazing he went above and beyond to accommodate us! Danellis made the most amazing drink!! Robert the manager took really good care of us and gave us amazing recommendations being our first time have Cuban food!!! I will most definitely come back here in the future!!!
Mojito Calle 8 is an amazing spot for authentic Cuban food! Everything tastes so fresh and full of flavor — truly delicious. The atmosphere gives you that real Cuban vibe, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Whether it’s the classic dishes or their refreshing mojitos, you can’t go wrong here. Definitely one of my favorite places for great Cuban food! 🇨🇺🥘🍹

Yansi is an excellent and professional waiter. She provided to us exceptional service.
This place was amazing. Maria was so attentive and grateful. The music, ambience and food were beyond this world. Would recommend this place and plan on coming back. Thank you Maria for making our evening so special.
Yansi was a great service providers. Loved her energy and charisma. I enjoyed my time at Mijotos thanks to the great service she provided.
Great food and an amazing environment even for just a weeknight. Highly recommend. Our server Danellis was great.
Went there for lunch with wifey and it wasn't too packed but filling up as we ate. The restaurant is really nice and spacious yet intimate. The service was really fast and attentive. We ordered the churrasco and fried pork chunks lunch specials. Gotta say the price was amazing and with nice full portion, straight bargain in today's economy. Got the tostones relleno con camorones for appetizer and it was bomb. So damn good! The pork chunk with moros was delicious and tasty. The churrasco was fire, the yuca was perfect texture. Everything was really well seasoned, tasted fresh. If I had one critique and a small one at that maybe the yuca could of been seasoned a little more but really no complaints with the food. I really enjoyed our lunch there. Would love to come back one night for dinner with the band playing. I can just feel the atmosphere there must be amazing, the decor was spectacular.
Lazaro was an amazing server! He was very patient and kind! He even bagged our items and helped us clean the table! Thank you Lazaro!
Great food! Service attentive and lovely. Claudia and Nestor are the best! Definitely recommended
Fara and Marco were amazing! I had a couple of guava mojitos, the pork belly appetizer. It was a reunion from our middle school days. My friends ordered both appetizers and dinner. Drinks and food were awesome!
We had our corporate Thanksgiving dinner at Mojito 8th Street, and everything was amazing! The food was delicious, and the live band made the atmosphere even better. We were able to bring our own decorations for the private room, which made it feel extra special. Roberto, the manager, was super professional and made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this place for any corporate or private event!
Claudia was our server and she did a wonderful job, she came over to check on us multiple times and she was super attentive.
We had the BEST experience at Mojito's Calle Ocho! It was my husband's 40th birthday and we needed a venue (and private or semiprivate space) that would be able to accommodate our guests. Mojito's was it! The Mojito's staff was a delight to work with from my very first email. They were very respectful and responsive. We moved out of state a few years ago, so it is always nerve wrecking coordinating a party venue unseen. However, the management and staff was truly top notch! They were very responsive over email. The day of the event Roberto (the manager) was extremely helpful and flexible. He brought out a ladder to hang our banner, listened to any questions or concerns I had (since I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off) and was helpful and kind while doing it. Our server was BEYOND WORDS AMAZING! Dania R. was VERY SWEET and KIND! She was efficient, attentive and kept me in the loop in regards to my guests needs. Honestly she made my hosting a breeze! Now a days it seems like customer service is a thing of the past, but I can honestly say that the Mojito's management and staff has not lost the essence of what makes a great business work! They hosted our 25 guest event like a breeze, made sure everyone had what they needed and even though we were a big Latino family who went over an hour after closing... they were kind, patient and made sure we enjoyed our time there. The food was GREAT! My one suggestion would be that they add black beans as a side to the event menu. Other than that the menu was delicious, from start to finish. The Mango and Coconut Mojito is a definite try! (You'll thank me later...)Everyone enjoyed their time loved the food and venue. Roberto came out to thank me for hosting our event at Mojito's when it was time for us to leave. He was truly a pleasure to work with. He treated us like family. So much so that our friends thought we knew each other from before! That's a great sign! Definitely consider having your next event here. Ask for Roberto the manager and Dania as your main server! You won't be sorry! It was our first time here but definitely will not be out last. Needless to say we will be recommending Mojito's Calle Ocho to all our friends and family in Miami as well as Ga. Thanks again Mojito's management and staff for helping me make my husband's milestone birthday a success!
My husband and I went for the first time, it was better than I expected. Fresh and good food. We had lunch there, we order churrasco, white rice and sweet plantains. The dinner time has live music and performances. The customer service was beyond our expectations. It wasn't too expensive. Highly recommend.
Yansi and Nestor was the greatest waitress, that I've found ever ,Thank u for your excelente service guyss!!! .hight recommended!!! . OH YEAH!!
Came to Mojito today and had wonderful service with Fara. Also a very fun environment with great music. The food was excellent, the tamal preparado as appetizer is a must try.
Danellis & Robert were awesome. Food was delicious. Mojitos has a warm, inviting & fun atmosphere with delicious food & fantastic service! Thank you, Danellis & Robert! We will be back!
Lazaro was an attentive and an amazing waiter. He is knowledgeable about the food and the drinks. He is truly awesome
Wonderful service by Maria. She made the best recommendations. Food and drinks was great and next time I come back I will most definitely ask for Maria.
Danellis was great! Vaca frita was delicious. Can’t wait till I come back :)
Lazaro, did a great job as our waiter. He answered all questions we had, very helpful
We had an amazing date and Claudia was phenomenal. She is the sweetest! Food was good and service was excellent.
This was insane. I’ve had good Cuban food. But never THIS good. Every item blew me away and I’d come here again in an instant. We started off with mojitos and mango juice. Mojitos are considered the best in the city! I personally loved the mango juice as it was super thick and tasty. We then had their fried pork chunks with fried plantains happy hour appetizer. This pork was super crispy on the outside, and super tender and fatty on the inside. It was perfectly seasoned just enough for the meat to still remain the star with its fantastic texture. The fried plantain chips were served with a tangy lemon mojo (sauce) to dip them in. We then got some shrimp filled puffs. The shrimp were soft and savory and the puff was super light and airy. The main dish I had was the vaca frita. This shredded beef is served in a beautiful baked plantain atop mashed plantains. I chose sides of mixed black beans and rice as well as caramelized plantains. The meat was incredible. So much flavor infused into tender, shredded meat. The rice and beans were so good themselves - I could eat a bowlful of that alone! And as always, plantains are so good when slightly sweet and caramelized. The final item we had was their dessert - torreja. This is essentially French toast, bread pudding, crème brûlée creation. It’s the best dessert item I’ve ever had in my life. So soft and custardy while crisp on the outside. Served with an incredibly creamy vanilla ice cream. Absolutely stunning and blew me away! Overall Mojitos is an absolutely phenomenal restaurant with excellent dishes and one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!
Food was absolutely amazing. Get the flank steak and lobster. Place was jumping on a Wednesday night. 10/10
Let me tell you this place is a gem. The food is excellent and wow the mojitos are amazing, they really stand up to the name!!! The service was top notch Maria was amazing sweet and on point. Maria made us have an incredible experience . Will definitely be coming back for the food , drinks and the wonderful service.
We had an amazing experience at Cafe Mojitos! The ambiance was phenomenal, with an upbeat Latin band that really set the perfect mood for the evening. The energy was vibrant and inviting, making it a fun spot for people of all ages. Our waiter, Danellis, was exceptional—attentive, sweet, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's the perfect family-friendly place where you can enjoy great food and lively music. We definitely loved our time here and will absolutely be back! Highly recommend it!
This is about to be my go to spot! Place is incredible, so beautiful and chill. Lazaro took care of me and my boyfriend and he was so kind and had a great energy. Food was BUSSING and the mojitos 😗 oh oh oh so so good. Recommend it here 10/10
Had the best time at Mojitos Bar, and a huge shoutout to Danellis for making the night unforgettable. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and brought such great energy to our table. The drinks came out perfectly, service was fast, and she made us feel so welcomed the entire time. You can tell she truly cares about her guests and loves what she does. If you’re at Mojitos Bar, ask for Danellis—amazing service and great vibes all around
I love coming to this place because the food is good. The ambience is good. The staff is nice and my favorite girl Fara, the nicest waitress always has the best recommendations and she’s never wrong. Love it here. Oh and it’s not named Mojitos for nothing. The best Mojitos are here.
I highly recommend this place. I loved the ambience , food and Joanna was an excellent waitress. She was very attentive and provided service in a timely manner. They also have music .
I went here today with my husband and we loved it. The pork with onions was amazing—my husband couldn’t stop talking about it. Great food and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!
I finally decided to stop by Mojitos after driving by for years and loved it so much we came back two days in a row. On both nights, we were served by Maria who is absolutely amazing. She’s extremely attentive and personable. Mil gracias por todo, Maria! Nos encantó compartir con ustedes. Nos vemos la próxima!
The food of this restaurant is amazing! Claudia our server was the highlight of this place! She had great energy and helped us with recommendations. She made sure we had an excellent experience!
People say this Cuban restaurant serves delicious mojitos and authentic Cuban food, including chicken soup, oxtail, and tostones filled with ropa vieja. They also highlight the great happy hour specials, good prices, and lively atmosphere with live music and dancing. Maria Herrera provided spectacular service; she was friendly, sociable, and highly professional, with an excellent knowledge of her work.
Claudia was amazing, she recommended the food for our whole table. Excellent service, although our food took a lil bit to get out of the kitchen, but Claudia made up for it being attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Claudia is the best server ever at Mojito!! She walked us through the menu and suggested exactly what my palate was looking for. She stopped by the table to make sure all the orders were to our satisfaction. Super attentive and wanted our full satisfaction during our time in Miami. If you go to Mojitos, ask to be served by Claudia!
We had such a great dining experience, all around awesome! What a fun place! We sat at the bar and ordered traditional mojitos from Leandro. He was on it! It was so good! His service was top notch. Attentive, quick, friendly and professional. The camarones tostones rellenos were a great start followed by pork chunks served with plantain chips. I loved it! My husband ordered the Ropa Vieja! I was fantastic as well. We'll definitely be back next time were in town!!!
What a gem of a restaurant. We were in Miami and wanted Cuban food and Mojitos Calle 8 most certainly has Cuban food! We arrived early and sat at the bar where Leandro, our bar tender, greeted us warmly and provided excellent service. We started with Mojitos Traditionale and tostones rellanos camarones. The mojito was superb and the shrimp on the tostones rellanos was cooked to tender perfection. We were amazed by the variety of dishes on the menu and were trying to decide what else to try when the owner of the restaurant came by, introduced himself, and offered some suggestions. On his advice, my wife ordered the puerco masitas con mariquitas - the pork was tender and delicious and the plantains were crispy and sweet. From there we moved on to rope vieja with black beans and white rice because I wanted to try a beef dish. The rope vieja is a wonderful mix of shredded beef cooked in an absolutely beautiful mild creole sauce with peppers. As with everything else, the black beans and rice were perfectly cooked and made an excellent accompaniment to the rope vieja. We finished with a cup of Cuban coffee. The only way to sum up our visit to Mojitos Calle 8 is the word "perfect" - perfect drinks, perfect food, perfect service, perfect atmosphere.
Definitivamente vuelvo a comer aquí.
Is a great place to celebrate any special occasion with family and friends. The food is very good and full of authentic Cuban flavors. The oxtail is delicious, and the tostones filled with ropa vieja are also excellent. The only complaint is the service charge — they add $10 per person for the musical band. It doesn’t make sense to charge people a mandatory fee to listen to music during their dinner. Other than that, everything else was great.
The place and atmosphere are very nice. The food and service are very good to. But the price is not cheap, "service charge" is included plus 3.75 % more if paying with a credit card.
Just when I thought I had tasted all Cuban dishes around Miami, I checked out Mojitos and let me tell you anybody who is a foodie needs to come here and enjoy. Nice classics, with beef, pork and shrimp in patacones, or perhaps a nice mahi-mahi. Sometimes they offer live music and they’ll tag an entertainment fee on your tab
It was my birthday and it was celebrated here.. The weather was great ! We sat outside.. Yansi , our server was amazingly great.. very attentive.. The food was delicious, The music was good Ofcourse!! The only downfall was the excessive amount of soliciting! There should be none of that!
Awesome place for a happy hour with friends, especially with Maria as a server. She is very attentive and provides great service every time.
So I have mixed feeling about this place. Let me just first say that the place is super nice. Really Cuban with old footage of Cuba on the TV and the music is fantastic, all Spanish. It's a nice place to go with a loved one, family or friends. Saturday nights are popping with live music and space to dance. The food is good. I had the chicken.. which to me was kinda tasteless but my boyfriend had the steak which was soooooo good. But the part that got me was that we had two drinks and that came out alone to 40 bucks... My brother had two drinks with two double shots and that came out to 80... Idk lol that to me is kinda a lot. But other then that great vibe. Good music and good food. 👍
We recently visited **Mojitos on Calle Ocho in Miami**, and while the food was absolutely **delicious and full of flavor**, the **service took way too long**. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and setting up our table also felt slow — maybe they’re short on staff. That being said, once the food came, everything tasted amazing and was worth the wait. The ambiance was ok, with a good vibe and live music, but it would be even better if they had a **DJ or something to keep the energy up during the band breaks**. Overall, great food and atmosphere — just hope the service improves next time!
The food was delicious and the price was fair. The staff was great and well dressed. The atmosphere was traditional, but modern and well maintained. I went early to get their happy hour specials, and that was fantastic! Overall a great experience, and we will definitely be returning.
The place is nicely decorated and the staff relatively friendly. My wife and I placed our order at 1pm. There were 4 tables with customers inside and a few outside. Basically almost empty. We got our food approximately 30 minutes later and the order was messed up. My side dishes were with my wife and vice-versa. I ordered chicken strips with onion and peppers with moro rice and fried plantains, my wife ordered churrasco strips with onions and pepper. The food was tasty and nicely presented but not outstanding. The moro rice wasn't fluffy it was mushy. For dessert we had flan. It was nicely presented but not outstanding flavor. The waitress apologized for the delay but we weren't given any discounts for the unnecessary delay. Also, a 15% is automatically added to your bill. It's shown as a service charge. I understand that practice when you have a party of six or more not for just two individuals.
Live Music on Sunday evenings makes a great family and friends time before the week begins! Great Food! Great Drinks! Take the time to relax and enjoy Dancing with the Live Music! 7/10/2023 Update I know lots of places are doing this now BUT if you pay by credit card they add $3.75 to the bill. Plus, they also add on a 18% gratuity and expect you to pay another as they post the 18%, 20% and 22% at the bottom of the bill... for those who are not paying attention will think they need to add more to the bill. I personally think this is to much as they are asking way to much for tips!!! So be careful! 7/18/2022 Update Yes, I know, with all that is going on things are changing. So just a little update! For Sunday's if you go before 7:30 PM you need to buy $20 worth of food (per person) AND if you stay past 7:30 PM you need to also purchase another $25 worth of food and drinks Per Person, not an average per party per person... so for those of us which do not drink this would mean we need to pay lots of food... $45 per person for the night! I wish they would set the RULES to be $30 per person if you go for both the Happy Hour and live show... if you come for the live show have it be $25 minimum. Again, I know and understand they need to make money, especially now!
The food was excellent, and I want to give credit where it’s due—the bussers and runners were fantastic. Unfortunately, the server experience really took away from the meal. There is an automatic service charge, but the service we received did not meet the standard that charge implies. As someone with a strong background in the restaurant industry, I found the service disappointing. With better front-of-house service, this place could be great.
I have been 3 times to the new restaurant I'm sorry they have sacrifice their food not the same flavor drinks are awful a lot of sour mix. The pasteles do not have meet. Appetizers they were not fresh. The time I went was not busy at 530pm. I'm sorry I'm puertorican this restaurant lost their flavor. Don't waste your time.
Service is HORRIBLE,women waiters are just flirting, gossiping and serve you with an attitude. Super crowed everyone dancing on top of each other . The food is not all that and very pricey. I don't waste my money there anymore
I would happily give 5 stars any other time I’ve been here. However, this was not the case on Father’s Day 2024. We visited during happy hour and ordered drinks with the assumption that they would be 50% off as is advertised on the menu Monday through Sundays (no exceptions mentioned). The receipt did not reflect any happy hour prices which then lead us to find out that happy hour is not honored on holidays. This is not our first time visiting this location, I’ve probably been here over a handful of times and have never heard or seen any exception for happy hour like this. The manager explained to us that it shouldn’t even be advertised as an exception and should be “assumed”. I don’t agree with this at all. The issue is not the price of the drinks at all, but it is the principle of the situation. A customer should never be mislead. Unfortunately, this has left a sour taste in our mouths and will have me thinking twice about returning. The photo is how we found our car in the parking lot upon leaving which is a coincidence as it reflects exactly how we felt when leaving this establishment.
My wife and I went yesterday at the one in calle 8. Our waiter was visible upset and jumpy probably because my wife dont speak Spanish and when wife change her mind about her entree her body language was obviously saying that she was not happy talking to us. Never offer appetizers/specials/dessert. Not smiling and hard rictus face . She never came back to us instead we were calling others for drinks and for the check. We called the Mgr and he started to justify the issue and he never apologized. Saying that the table belonged to ( alvaro) the guy serving drinks from the bar and she was just helping him. Very poor customer service answer. Whoever comes to my table owns it!. Mgr as well was visibly annoyed by us complaining. We've been patrons at mojitos for a long time...but that as well is on hard review...will take a while if ever to come back....with service like that one from yesterday who cares about the quality of the mojito? ... we left upset.
