The food is great- all the food is very flavorful and actually quite unique and reasonably priced for a steakhouse. We especially loved the side dishes that were not your typical steakhouse sides. Steak was cooked to perfection. The service was very genuine and welcoming- it didn’t feel forced. And the ambiance was quiet and elegant but absolutely not stuffy. Would absolutely go back.
5-star experience from start to finish From the moment we arrived, everything felt special — while our table was being prepared, we were welcomed with two complimentary glasses of champagne. A beautiful touch. Nani took care of us and was fantastic: she explained the menu, gave great recommendations, and made us feel completely comfortable. The entire staff was impeccable — attentive, warm, and genuinely kind at all times. The meats were outstanding: perfectly cooked, generous portions, truly a delicacy. The bread deserves its own paragraph — served piping hot straight from the oven, crispy crust on the outside and wonderfully soft and moist inside, plus a very generous size. The Caesar salad was another highlight. Price, quality, and service are perfectly balanced. The music had great vibes: lively but at a volume that still allowed conversation. Orilla is always top — it never fails. We’ll definitely keep coming back.
What a wonderful place! My husband and I are celebrating our honeymoon in Miami, and we are so glad we chose this place! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and they are all very knowledgeable about the menu items and drinks. There is a huge selection of wine as well as cocktails. The red wine sangria I ordered was sweet and delicious. We started with baked bread and empanadas, which were both enjoyable. I ordered a braised beef ravioli special with truffle oil. The meat was so flavorful and rich, and the sauce was exactly the same. My husband ordered a flank steak that was seasoned and cooked beautifully. The only thing that bothered me was there are no free refills, not even on fountain drinks. The staff was kind enough to gift us some free champagne with a sparkler to help us celebrate. I definitely recommend coming here, you will be taken care of very well!
Hidden Gem in SoFi ⭐️💎 Argentine flavors with a twist that makes for an amazing evening of food and friends The atmosphere is glamorous with an open air main dinning area The food was fantastic. Will definitely go back and try other dishes ⭐️ Papedelle 🍨Flan Dulce De leche 🗣️Bread is a MuST
great date night spot for our quick trip to south beach! the strip steak special and flan were amazing. rodrigo is the best server in town!
I went here for my birthday yesterday and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the waiter and waitress were very pleasant and accommodating, and the experience was very enjoyable! May come here again in the near future.
4 of us came here to celebrate my FIL's birthday. The atmosphere was laid-back but very stylish and the service was great. We ordered just the right amount. Apps: octopus, bread and labneh dip, and 2 orders of empanadas. Main dishes: bone-in prime rib, sea bass, salad, and french fried provencal. And two deserts (the flan was particularly good!) I'd definitely recommend this place whether you're wanting a casual or a special occasion dinner.
Amazing experience! The place was incredible, the food was delicious, and the Monterrey cocktail was outstanding. Special thanks to Rodrigo for the spectacular service attentive, friendly, and truly made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. So much so we came for the 2nd time on our trip to Miami. The steak is absolutely exceptional. Fairly priced, incredible flavour and perfectly cooked (we like medium rare, pink with no blood). The service is always outstanding and the Argentinian wine pairs so well. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
“A charming place where every detail stands out: the food is exquisite, the drinks are perfectly crafted, and the service is warm and attentive. The ambiance combines elegance and comfort, creating a truly memorable experience. Without a doubt, a place I will always want to return to.” Engellina mua 💋
✨Another Great Time at Orilla✨ Once again, we had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday here, and this time it was for my brother. From the moment we were greeted by the lovely hostess to the warmth of our table, we had such a wonderful experience. Our waitress, Ludo, brought such a positive energy and offered fantastic suggestions; she practically crafted our entire meal, and every dish was exceptional. My Branzino was simply a delight, complemented perfectly by the fresh tomato salad, and the steak was incredibly juicy. And the drink she put her spin on was so good I have forgotten the name but it had Mezcal and it was somewhat sour but sweet! The birthday dessert was such a thoughtful touch, just the right amount to share. We had an unforgettable time, and I definitely plan to return, especially considering how well we were treated. Oh, and I can’t believe I almost forgot to mention the Hot Bread—it’s a must-try, and I promise you won’t regret it!
Freaking Fantastic!!! Was it perfect? Nope. But the 5 ⭐️ rating remains because the main event proteins were such perfection, that its so so so well deserved. You MUST come here! Cocktails and wine were good, but not exceedingly delicious. Im picky. * Homemade Bread Fresh, warm ourdough bread came with labneh, za'atar * Grilled Calamari * Burrata * Prime NY 14oz Steak (med-well) * Butterflied Branzino The aforementioned items were 5 stars each, except for grilled calamari, which was 2 stars (rubbery and not enjoyable) Service was top tier, amazing Ambiance is chic and very well done. Modern meets industrial on the warm side. (If I had one critique its the missed opportunity to install black toilets, especially with the black finishes. Unfortunately the toilet is white.) Reservations are recommended. About the Branzino: crackle skin with velvety meat inside. Flavors galore without fussy sauces or sides. On its own, by itself is a winner! About Prime NY: typically I order steak that is medium-rare. In this particular case, opting for medium-well was absolutely perfect. The char, the outer crusty moments with the juicy inner meat was a huge win! No sauce required!!!!! No sides needed. I am shocked the prices for the proteins were so low! But the meal was incredible!
I had such a great time at Orilla Bar and Grill 😊 The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff was super friendly and attentive which made the experience even better 👏 I went for dinner and tried their grilled seafood 🦞 and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavors were so fresh. The cocktails 🍹 were also on point and they really complemented the meal nicely. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is the wait time ⏳. It took a bit longer than I expected but once the food arrived it was worth it! Definitely planning on coming back for another great night out with friends 🙌
WONDERFUL RESTAURANT WITH AMAZING STAFF, FOOD , AMBIANCE and HOSPITALITY. I just took a picture of my juicy steak that was moist and well done as requested. Yummy!! All the other food that was prepared was delicious and well cooked!!!!!!!!!!!! This was so amazing too me. I brought my best friend here for her birthday and staff was truly a gem and a charm. They were super friendly and caring towards us both. This place made me happy and have a good feeling and vibe once your inside. We originally was going to go to STK Miami but glad we choose Orilla Bar and Grill after all. Less expensive, great service, great staff, nice ambiance. What more can you ask for ? Lol Thank you again !
My wife and I celebrated my birthday at Orilla and had an awesome experience! The food was delicious and the birthday package they have is awesome. All the food we had was tasty and the service was great as well! My wife had the Sea Bass and that was the standout dish from all that we tried.
Rodrigo was a great server. Helped make great choices & he was super friendly & humorous
Very kind greeting at the entrance and we received our table for 4 very quickly. Our waiter Rodrigo took care of us very kindly, respectfully and he gave us good advices about what food to give to our children, what cocktails and what wine to drink. I ate the best well-done rib-eye steak of my life at Orilla! My wife really liked the cocktails and I really enjoyed the red wine section. All in all this is a beautiful gastronomic experience, excellent food and drinks with very friendly Argentine hospitality! I recommend it to Everyone with all my heart!
My girlfriends and I arrived late Friday evening, and were welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff and warm ethos. The mood lighting, half-indoor/ half-outdoor vibe, back lit wall of spirits, large plants, and sleek furniture create an atmosphere that is hard to beat. The cocktail menu was far from banal, making it very difficult to choose (go bold, or go home). We ordered an array of appetizers and small plates to share, and everything was phenomenal. The dishes were beautifully prepared, with flavors to support their looks. What is more--they were vegetarian friendly! Our server was kind, informative, and accomodating. Overall, top notch experience. This is a place I will definitely be returning to. Do yourself a favor, and treat yourself to this bomb culinary experience.
Rodrigo was amazing. The food and drinks were great. Looking forward to coming back very soon!
We had a great time at Orilla. Thanks to Sexton and the amazing staff. Food was delicious, atmosphere was top notch. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend.
By far the best restaurant in Miami And Rodrigo is the best server ever. Loved the recommendations he made and the St. Tropez truffle martini!!!
Amazing place! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service, short & straight forward food & cocktail menus and of course the food! I had grilled calamari, pasta with shrimps and Tango cocktail. Everything was delicious! Pasta was 10 out 10, just like pasta i had in Italy! Laura was our server and she was great! First time i was in the restaurant type of place where the dj is playing electronic music it was a bit hard to chat but i guess its a charm of South Beach ;)
Rodrigo was amazing, this was our favorite dinner on our trip. I have celiac, and have to follow a strict gluten free diet..this restaurant ensured and more importantly delivered a safe meal! Thank you
Orilla Bar & Grill was amazing. If you’re looking for a high end yet welcoming environment with excellent food and friendly service, then you have to check out Orilla Bar & Grill. We went there with our teenage kids. The octopus appetizer was tender. The flank steak was a good thick cut and very tender (medium rare). The Pavlova dessert was amazing (on macaron style cookie)! Definitely a must for anyone looking for a great meal close to the action but a couple of blocks away from the crowds.
I recently dined at Orilla Steakhouse in Miami, and I must commend Laura for her exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was perfect. The food was exquisite, and Laura's recommendations were spot-on. Her professionalism and warm demeanor truly enhanced our evening. Highly recommend!
We are visiting the Miami Beach area to celebrate our 32 wedding anniversary and after much web searching for a nice restaurant, Orilla was chosen based on previous reviews and menu choices. Orilla did not disappoint!! Our bar tender server Julieta was very personable, attentive and made some awesome cocktails. When we were seated our server Nanni was also very personable and made us feel comfortable. Nanni explained all our menu options and her attention to our dining needs were greatly appreciated. She was attentive but not overbearing. The food was excellent and prepared to our liking. Highly recommend!
This Miami Beach spot hits Argentine steakhouse energy with a modern, tropical spin 🥩🔥. Josper‑grilled meats, inventive starters like empanadas & octopus, and cocktails that slap 🍸😎. Ambiance is sexy yet relaxed, perfect for date night or celebrations — and the DJ on weekends brings extra vibes. 🌴🎶 Delicious, stylish, unforgettable.
Sited under Urbanica #2, Orilla hides discretely behind palms and greenery that keep the traffic noise from 5th at bay. It feels immediately cool and hip, it’s own world. There is a lot of competition in this part of South Beach but Orilla launches in ready to take on all comers. Food wise, every dish was high class and often original. The burrata with leeks was great, and complemented a really intense tomato salad. A simple fettuccine with olive oil and truffle shaved on it was outstanding - we shared it four ways as mini second course. The barbecued branzini was crisp and tasty (possibly slightly over nuked). Tomato pasta was very good and the signature black rice was divine. Wine by the glass was good although not memorable. Our wait person Anis was attentive, helpful with good suggestions, and full of joy. It is somewhere to go back to.
Our original restaurant cancelled our reservation last minute so we added Orilla. My whole family agreed this was hands down the best restaurant we visited in 4 nights in Miami. The moment we walked in we were greeted by a lovely hostess and the great service only continued with our server Laura. She was amazing! Sweet, knowledgeable and provided excellent service. The food was some of the best we had in Miami. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. The dough on the empanadas was crispy and light and my tuna tartare was incredible. The ambiance is warm, a little dark and seductive but brings the outdoors in. Just go.
Came with a party of 13 for a birthday, with multiple people having allergies as well. Was asked so many questions about who can eat what, how to pay the bill, etc. Food was amazing and very well priced for Miami. Our server Nanni was the best!
The food was incredible! Both of our steaks (the prime rib eye and the flank steak) were cooked to perfection, and the argentinian grill style and flavour really shone through. We had the creamy burrata with leeks to start which was a great combination. We also had Mollejas for the first time, which were delicious! Our server Valeria was attentive, providing prompt and efficient service along with recommendations which we were happy to take. Overall an amazing meal!
Steaks, burrata and deserts! Gorgeous place with a great Miami vibe. Excellent service, friendly crowd and some amazing espresso martinis. On the downside one of the steaks came medium-well instead of medium rare and some veggie sides were burnt to ashes. Still, 5 stars for the vibe. Well, the medium-well steak was still tasty too :)
Wow, Wow, Wow! I recently moved to the hood and I just want to let everyone know about this hidden gem. From the time you entering to the restaurant, with the welcoming hostesses to Rodrigo the master bartender and all the well trained stuff, the food, the drinks were wonderfully- I was in the hospitality business in many cities in the world and this fun and fresh place deserves 5 gold stars. Bravo
Service was great all-around, especially our waitress Nanni! Super attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!
Easily the best dinner we had in Miami Beach during our five-day stay. Don’t miss out on their pre-fixe set dinner menu. Fantastic strip loin and attentive service. Beautiful place.
Fabulous vibe, food, drinks and service. Came to Orilla for dinner during a girls trip to Miami. The experience was the best we had all trip! Shoutout to our server Rodrigo who was absolutely incredible and made our night!! His service was top notch, and his knowledge of the food and drinks was so helpful. The only thing that was less than stellar were the desserts, with the exception of the Baked Alaska, which was a whole experience!! Would love to come back!
We had a range of appetizers and entrées between us and everything was great. The Branzino maybe v slightly overdone. Grilled cabbage was interesting. The truffle pasta main and asparagus starter were my favorites. I found the wine by the glass a bit sub par. service by Anis was entertaining and efficient.
Honestly, this place is amazing. Rodrigo was so sweet and kind and attentive. I really enjoyed my experience and will be back and recommending this place to others!
The food and atmosphere were amazing. Our server Rodrigo was very friendly and gave us lots of great recommendations. We wanted a cocktail that wasn't on the menu and he made sure the bar made us something very similar. We weren't going to bother with dessert but he recommended the baked Alaska dessert and expresso martini which were so good and definitely worth it.
Had an amazing experience with the family at Orilla Bar & Grill. The meat was top notch—truly some of the best I've ever had. From the quality to how it was cooked and served, everything was flawless. A must-visit in Miami! The service was outstanding, the Argentinian wine was excellent, and the whole evening was just perfect. Huge congratulations to the team. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others!
Great dinner and exceptional service. Went with a friend and split multiple entrees and appetizers. Key standouts that I would order again: prime rib eye, Duck ragu, charred octopus appetizer, bread (the yogurt with evo and za'atar, as well as burrata were fantastic accompaniments). Had the designated driver mock tail and it was so good I ordered a second. Our server Laura was great. She was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and all of her recommendations were perfect. She was thorough and thoughtful, as any great server will be. Always close by and attentive to our dinner but never hovering or touching the table just for the sake of it. Would highly recommended.
We had reservations and were greeted warmly upon arrival. Our server was excellent — very knowledgeable, went over the menu in detail, and shared the specials of the day. Everything looked delicious and arrived on time. We did have a small issue with my husband’s steak, as it was tough and difficult to eat, but the server handled it very professionally. She offered to replace it and kindly took it off the bill. The rest of the food was really good, and we truly appreciated the great service. We’ll definitely come back and give it another try!
You absolutely have to go to this place if in south beach. We received a warm greeting when we arrived at the front door. Not only by the hosted, but also by the owner/operator. It was very welcoming before we even stepped through the front door. The atmosphere was excellent. None of the loud noise that the places on Ocean Side drown you with. You can actually speak to your guests and the staff with ease. As guests to Miami they made a wonderful impression on us. Our waitress, Ludovica, even asked about food allergies before ordering. That consideration to ask is huge. The waitress and the owner were so easy to talk to slowing us to find out about the best places to go and see while in Miami. The food was spectacular. We had a three course meal and cocktails, and we were not disappointed with anything. Everything had a great presentation and even more outstanding flavor. We would definitely return here if we come back to South Beach. I can’t say enough about how good our entire experience was at Orilla.
Had a delicious meal and lovely experience with nanni! Ordered calamari, tuna tartar, steak, seafood, salad - all amazing! Nanni was attentive and funny and made our meal even better - looking forward to coming back!
We came in for our anniversary dinner and had an absolutely outstanding experience. The hosts were extremely welcoming and gave us an unforgettable meal and experience. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. I highly recommend this to everyone as a local.
Great place to eat just a few minutes from the South Miami strip. Here's the deal. You can eat at one of the restaurants on the strip and you might have a good view. The reality is you will pay much more for much less in terms of quality of food and service. Orilla is an Argentinian steakhouse with an awesome vibe and with the perfect ambience for a great night out. My wife and I had the empanadas and Cesar salad to start. They were delicious. Then we ordered a bottle of Malbec and enjoyed it with our perfectly cooked steak. The mashed potatoes and heirloom tomatoes on the side were the perfect choice to share and enjoy with our steak. The heirloom tomatoes had pine nuts and capers and were served cold. They were so refreshing. Everything was cooked perfectly!
We went for our three year anniversary and we’re treated very special in. The food, the drinks, atmosphere, and the service was first class. The bartender came over to the table to prepare the Seabreeze Martini and tell us about the preparation. Great touch. The Tomahawk steak platter was plentiful. And the desserts? Wow. Ask for Ludovica as your server. You won’t be disappointed.
Great experience tonight. Charcoal grilled branzino was extraordinarily great. Rodrigo was a terrific server. Beautiful room. I need to go back for the beef which I am sure is also outstanding
We had a fantastic dinner. Filet mignon was perfectly cooked and the desserts were delicious. Our server, Rodrigo, was charming and had great recommendations.
As a group of 6, we enjoyed tonight’s dinner as the service and staff were incredible. They were extremely friendly and accomodating to our needs. We ordered a few dishes and they were amazing, we chose to share the special which was the Kansas Strip Steak; it was amazing to share between 2 people. There was a DJ and he was great to have as it made the place more lively as the environment is extremely dark to start with. Overall, the feeling that this bar and grill brings is unmatched to any other restaurant in Miami Beach.
Exceptional from start to finish - cocktails were balanced and aesthetic, food was delicious, the space was beautiful with vibey music and dimly lit tables. Would highly recommend! We loved the endive salad, sweetbreads, and octopus as a starter combo and the mezcal cocktail is a must!
Liked the decor. Smallish menu but everything was very well done. Ordered pulpo tiradito, endive salad, special mussels dish, bone-in prime rib, raw zucchini, Brussel sprouts, and baked Alaska. Monty python audio playing in the bathroom was a nice touch :-) As the evening went on, it was a little dark sitting outside (people started using phone lights to read menu) and I thought the music could have been a touch quieter. Service was friendly and prompt. Really liked it here, would definitely come again next time in Miami.
South Beach has officially hit the culinary climax of my life. This restaurant was absolutely delicious. I had homemade noodles with duck ragu- it was incredible! The heirloom tomatoes were fantastic. The way these guys used capers nearly brings me to (happy) tears. Will be flying back to Florida to eat here again!
We ate a lovely meal there. I had the rib eye and my GF had the rack of lamb, both perfectly cooked. Our server Rodrigo was very attentive and knowledgeable and we felt very looked after
Beautiful restaurant and exceptional service. We had a fabulous dinner. Caesar salad, tomatoes, bread, filet, sea bass, key lime pie, raspberry cheesecake and coffee. A memorable dining experience and look forward to visiting again when in town. Thank you Ludovica for your hospitality.
Orilla Restaurant, located at the March Hotel in Miami, is an outstanding Argentine dining experience. The atmosphere is both modern and inviting, with a staff that is attentive and highly professional. The meats were absolutely delicious, perfectly complemented by flavorful side dishes. The wine list is excellent, offering great options by the glass as well. The only ‘problem’ was that it’s inside the hotel — which made us want to come back every single day.
Orilla Bar & Grill in Miami is a hidden gem that transports you to a world of coastal bliss. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the restaurant's unique blend of nature-inspired decor and open dining concept, which seamlessly brought the outdoors inside. The culinary journey at Orilla was a revelation. Starting with a crisp glass of prosecco, my taste buds were primed for the gastronomic delights that awaited. The bread, a perfect combination of crusty exterior and soft interior, was a delightful beginning. And oh, the tiradito de pulpo! The delicate flavors of the octopus dish truly captured the essence of the sea. But the real star of the show was the wagyu cheeseburger. Cooked to absolute perfection, each bite was a juicy symphony of flavors that left me wanting more. The prime rib eye steak was equally impressive, with its tender and succulent texture. The knowledgeable waitstaff recommended a fantastic Malbec wine that complemented the steak impeccably, elevating the entire dining experience. The sides were no less impressive. The French fries provençal were a delightful twist on a classic, while the heirloom tomatoes added a burst of freshness to the meal. And let's talk about the desserts! The pavlova, a colorful and artful creation, was a sensory delight that showcased the chef's attention to detail. But the real showstopper was the baked Alaska, a true masterpiece that left me in awe. Aside from the exceptional cuisine, the service at Orilla was remarkable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel like a valued guest. The warm and inviting ambiance created a relaxed atmosphere where I could truly unwind and enjoy the experience. Whether you're looking for a place to meet friends, host a business gathering, or enjoy a romantic date, Orilla Bar & Grill is the ideal destination. With its coastal-inspired charm, impeccable food, and outstanding service, this restaurant has certainly won a special place in my heart. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit to this culinary haven.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. We ordered the empanadas which were amazing, salmon, prime ribeye, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The portions were very generous and it was all delicious. We finished our meal with the flan which was to die for. Will definitely come back!
Excellent service from Julieta the bartender. My wife and I shared three appetizers and a few drinks at the bar. It was excellent! Great quality food, great presentation and lovely and very efficient service in a room with good energy.
The food here is really good, especially loved the beef empanadas and tiradito de pulpo. It's a nice spot for sharing plates since the portions aren't too big, and everything tastes delicious. The prices are fair, and the service is friendly. They also have a DJ that starts playing at 8 pm. Overall, a great place to eat.
Ludo did a great job. She made us feel welcomed , she was very knowledgeable and descriptive about the menu. We celebrated our engagement and she gave us great suggestions for honeymooners in Italy. Overall the food and service was great, we will come back next time we are in miami
As far as weekend traditions go, you’ll find brunch is pretty sacred for most people. There’s not a storm, a traffic jam or a monumental hangover that’ll keep some from driving to a restaurant for a $20 plate of eggs Benedict and a pitcher of mimosas. In Argentina, an entirely different ritual takes hold on Sundays—the asado. At its core, it’s a barbecue of grilled meats cooked over a parrilla, a grill heated with wood or coals. But the simple meal is also so much more as we came to find out at Orilla Bar & Grill, the South Beach restaurant at Urbanica Hotel bringing the South American custom to Miami. Parillada Sundays is the South of Fifth spot’s answer to whatever type of feasting you subscribe to on Sundays—brunch, red sauce, a roast. Served all day, the shareable spread includes a six-ounce flank steak, a seven-ounce New York steak, four lamb chops, two chorizos and a half grilled chicken all cooked to perfection in the Josper oven. Once done, the meat is set on a sizzling, coal-fired grill and brought to your table to finish searing and keep warm. It arrives with four different sauces:—romesco, pivre, chimichurri and criolla—and any two sides of your choosing. Your server will tell you which meat to dip where but don’t be afraid to go rogue, especially if ordering the French Fries Provencal as an accompaniment. You’ll want to dip them everywhere. The whole thing (meats, sauces and two sides) clocks in at $120 and is large enough to feed two to three people. As a table of four, we supplemented the parillada with a couple of Empanadas, the Fish of the Day and their signature Black Rice Paella dish. Several drink specials are available with the parillada, including bartender Rodrigo Tubert‘s Alta Mimosa, a take on the classic but with rectified orange, Szechuan cordial, and Argentinian Extra Brut, and the Orilla Spritz, a citrusy mix of Aperol, grapefruit, cucumber juice, and Las Perdices Extra Brut. Not on special but worth sipping at any price is the Fat Negroni, an unctuous blend of Oxley gin, sweet vermouth, smoked Italian pancetta and Campari. The cocktail is sold in limited quantities, which is probably for the best considering its pork content and the unlikely chance you’ll be able to limit yourself to just one of the flavorful drinks. Too full on our meal and multiple rounds of cocktails, dessert wasn’t on our radar and so we let the server take the reins. The first thing to arrive was a stunning Tropical Pavlova adorned with cutouts of papaya, passion fruit and pineapple plus all sorts of edible flowers, acai and hibiscus. The activated charcoal pavlova was delicate, with a blend of textures and naturally sweetened fruit to balance out the sugary base. We followed it up with a slice of Ice Cream Cake dipped in chocolate that was basically the perfect brownie leveled up with creamy vanilla ice cream and more chocolate—because more is more with chocolate, always. The simple and perfectly executed plate of grilled meats is a revered tradition for Argentineans. Our server explained that families back home come together every weekend to enjoy a meal similar to what we were experiencing. Looking around, you got a sense that it wouldn’t be long until more Miamians spent their Sundays just as we did.
Caesar salad is super simple and excellent. Tiradito was superb. Beef empanada was a bit too doughy and the least impressive of the appetisers but still good. Steak was perfectly cooked and perfectly complemented by the chimichurri, my only complaint for which was that there wasn't enough! But the star of the show was the waygu burger, perfectly cooked and complemented by moreish double cooked fries.
Food and service was amazing. Denver steak and black rice was exceptional. Rodrigo took care of us all night! Loved it better than Sunny’s!
This is a stylish, sophisticated restaurant that will satisfy both steak lovers and everyone else. Tucked away behind a wall of greenery on busy Fifth Street, you'll feel like you're in the tropics as the gentle breeze comes through the open windows. Everything we ordered was wonderfully done, from the ribeye and NY Strip steaks to the pistachio pesto pasta and the duck rags pappardelle (how unusual!). Side dishes we can heartily recommend are the crispy Brussels sprouts, the burrata with peaches salad and especially the homemade sourdough break with labneh for dipping. The staff was friendly and helpful. It couldn't have been a better night for all!
Outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. The food at Orilla Bar is always incredible, consistently top quality. The service is like nothing you see these days: sharp, professional, and flawless. The product quality is impressive every single time, and the waitstaff pays attention to every detail. Ask for Rodrigo, fantastic waiter, top-tier service. Highly recommended.
I had an incredible experience at Orilla Bar and Grill! I have several food allergies and intolerances and I felt completely safe eating here. Rodrigo understood the ingredients I needed to avoid and was patient, calm, and confident while explaining the options available to me on the menu, and my meal was delicious.
Great steak and cocktails. Went for date night. Girlfriend didn’t complain once. Rodrigo was an outstanding server and was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. I would also like to shoutout the busboy, I didn’t catch his name but he did not let an empty plate/glass sit for more than 30 seconds. Absolute weapon. All in all, a great time was had.
We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Orilla in Miami. The food was outstanding, and the service was just as exceptional. My wife and I decided to spend a spontaneous evening there to celebrate my birthday, and our expectations were exceeded in every possible way. From the first moment to the last, everything felt special and thoughtfully arranged. We are visiting from Germany and can truly recommend Orilla to anyone who appreciates excellent cuisine and a beautiful, aesthetic atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back , it was an unforgettable evening for us.
Solid, casually upscale resto a little of the beaten path. Terrific martini and excellent burger (fries could be improved as they were dried out, maybe overcooked, and tasteless). Grilled calamari was good too.
Great experience! I had the pleasure of spending my last evening in Miami together with my boyfriend having dinner at Orilla. We loved the atmosphere and the food, the bread was spectacular and we took the 2 full menus, having the chance to share and try delicious dishes. The service was excellent (a special thank-you to the Argentinian waiter who looked after us), and the price was definitely fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an evening with good food, a great atmosphere, and a carefree vibe.
Great restaurant, love the fire grilled steaks. Beautiful atmosphere. Easy walk from hotels on south beach.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Street presence is incredible and the staff was very welcoming. The ambience is very nice and the seats are comfortable. The menu is easy to read and very straight-forward as well. We got the burrata and Brussel sprouts for a starter and the black rice w/ squid and duck pasta for our mains. The squid black rice was to DIE for. One of the best dishes I've ever had. The duck pasta was good but it wasn't great. Noodles were tough, and the flavors of the dish only ran one note and didn't carry much depth. There is a built in 18% gratuity at this restaurant as well. Would I come back here? Probably, after I try some other spots as I'm just visiting the area.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends. We started with some cocktails - they were truly amazing and well thought out, each one perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. For our appetizers, we ordered the ceviche de pulpo, salad, and empanadas, and they were all delicious. The octopus was cooked perfectly, and the empanadas were packed with flavor. The salad was fresh and light, a perfect accompaniment to the heartier appetizers. For our entrees, I ordered the pomodoro and it was good, with the tomato sauce bursting with flavor. However, the true highlight of the meal was the dessert. We ordered the flan and baked Alaska, and the presentation was absolutely amazing. The flavors were just as impressive, with each bite a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The only downside of the meal was that we had two servers who didn't communicate with each other, which caused a bit of confusion from time to time. Despite this, we had an amazing time, and I would highly recommend Orilla Miami to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great cocktails in a cozy atmosphere.
Dark and moody like my soul, Orilla’s aims to please. We had a whole spread and someone asked me what my favourite dishes were and I said the Caesar Salad & the French Fries Provençal, this isn’t to say that the food wasn’t good… I just can’t believe I was wowed by veggies and fries. Otherwise… the rib eye was great temp and texture, not super flavorful but not under-flavored either, light and yummy branzino, the bucatini with shrimp wasn’t my favourite but I’m sure it can be great to somebody else. The drinks A1, the staff pretty good, very very nice aesthetics, delicious desserts, you might need to get your eyes tested when you leave here. The end.
Went with friends we hadn’t seen for years, so we spent way too much time talking. Despite this, and the fact that it was Saturday evening and they probably were itching to turn the table, we never felt rushed. Our server, Nani I believe, was exactly as attentive as you would hope - always there when you needed something, but never hovering. Perfect. The food was good. I had the NY Strip and my wife’s had the filet. Both were perfectly cooked to our medium rare request. Fries were crisp and the mashed potatoes were also excellent. I would have liked a couple of extra choices on the menu: maybe a terrine or pate, and a basic salad - there were several more imaginative salads, but I enjoy a simple salad some times. All in all, it was a very good dinner. We will be back.
Our first time at a well reviewed restaurant. Service was great from Louda. I enjoyed the empanada. I wasn’t too crazy about the flank steak I ordered. It tasted very oily.
Brussels sprouts were burnt. It tastes bitter, so you have to pick at it to eat it.The chicken was very dry.Mashed potatoes are delicious The steak had a slightly sour taste, probably from the lemon. The music is very loud; you need to nearly yell to speak. The waiter didn't say anything before removing the plates, which startled and confused me. I thought they wouldn't serve us because we didn't have our licenses. The chicken was ultimately served for free, but an 18% service charge was imposed.
The Positive The wagyu burger was delicious . Perfectly cook and tasty with minimal extra like bacon, onion, or lettuce. The Negative The brussel sprouts every one is talking aren't good. It's mildly cook with a burnt butter. No seasoning, no acid, and no flavor. The brazion fish filet needs a sauce to accompany it just lemon Is not a sauce or acceptable. I don't want to speak on service cause I can tell the manager seen we wasn't talking care of but we had 3 different waiters as fill ins.
Orilla Bar – Miami Beach (Visited 11/11, 6:45 PM) My wife and I stopped by for a light dinner and a drink at the bar. When we asked about happy hour, the bartender told us it ran until 7 PM and handed us the menu. One of the options listed was a Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret Gin & Tonic — our favorite gin, and the reason we ordered it. However, she made the drink using something from an unlabeled bottle that was definitely not Hendrick’s. When we asked why, she gave a few confusing answers (“we don’t do happy hour anymore,” “it ends at seven,” etc.) and became defensive. What felt worse was that the menu made it seem we were getting a premium product, but we were actually served a different, lower-quality gin — which came across as misleading and dishonest. She then started speaking about us in Spanish to a coworker, unaware that I’m Argentine and understood everything. The attitude and lack of transparency ruined what could’ve been a nice evening. We didn’t touch the drinks, and she removed them without offering any explanation or alternative. It’s a shame, because the place itself looks great and could be enjoyable with a bit more honesty and customer care. Hopefully management takes this seriously and works on staff training and attitude since trust is easy to lose and hard to win back. — Ricardo
i was expecting more from this place given the reviews, but the service here was so terrible. our waitress was so rude and always giving us an attitude. the first issue was no mocktails, i'm sorry if a bar can make a mocktail why won't you? the waitress looked at me like i was a freak for asking for no alcohol. we weren't that hungry so we decided to split a steak and caeser salad, she wasn't too happy about that. the portions were big so at least you get your money's worth. the steak was probably the worst steak i ever had, it was so chewy and lacked flavor. the salad wasn't anything special. french fries $11 which were probably frozen and they just topped with some parsley. it was so bad we didn't even get dessert i could not stay there any longer. the only pro was this was close to our hotel, and the interior was nice. otherwise save your money and go somewhere else.
