Pita Grill & Market Miami Reviews
Best stuffed grape leaves ever! The Baba Ganoush was very good, as was the fried kibbeh ball. Kafta kabobs were tasty, but dried out. Will return!
Great flavor, very nice service. Place very clean and comfy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pita Grill is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — every bite tastes homemade with so much care. The menu has a great variety, and everything we tried was delicious. On top of that, the service was outstanding warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing food and exceptional service. Can’t wait to come back!
I like the shawarma there although it could be less sour..the turkish coffee smells very good with spices in it. price-wise it was pretty standard for shawarma $13.00 on the higher side of pricing. Good coffee & great place to sit and relax. They have baklavas too which is great! 👍
Great option for something healthy but also tasty at the same time !! I got the kebab platter with lentil rice , house salad and fava salad and it came with a garlic sauce and tzatziki sauce! It was all delicious!
Excellent balance between great, flavorful Mediterranean food and very reasonable prices. Additionally they serve pretty large portions, so I ended having dinner and then saving my ‘Doggie bag’ for next day’s lunch at work, in my case a delicious Shawarma meat platter which I ordered with Baba Ganoush, Hummus and Tabbouleh, with an appetizer of 4 Grape Leaves + Tajine to share with wifey, who also left half of her Kebbab platter for next day! Don’t expect full table service like at a more expensive/fancier restaurant, so even though they’ll take your order and bring it to your table, sodas for instance are served in the can, but who needs glasses with these prices and flavor?!?! In a way, it’s like premium fast food with decent table service. Dessert with small portion Baklawas was ideal in order to try several flavors, I loved the Chocolate, Berry and Pistaccio ones. All in all, an excellent and fulfilling experience, and I got to collect AA’s AAdvantage Dining miles plus a bonus for simply going out for a delicious dinner. Highly recommended!
Freshly prepared food. Always delicious. It was my first time at the actual restaurant. I usually order takeout via Uber eats. I was close to the area and decided to stop in. So happy I did. Freshly prepared food takes a little longer so plan accordingly. Worth the wait.
It was delicious the pita ,shawarma the taboule and you must try the grill chees delicious
Great service, great food. Nice and clean.
Food is super good, clean and priced very well. Great place. Would recommend especially if your health conscious.
Excellent food!! Great and fresh items in the market!!! Always a good experience. Service is quick and staff is educated. Ten stars!!!
Food and service was great 👍. My expectations were exceed (clean and friendly staff). Arrived here using Google maps. Prices are fair.
Food is delicious, my order is always rught and on time. Highly recommend
I tried Halal guys when they where briefly here in Miami. Pita grill is Amazing. The food is delicious, the order was correct and ready on time. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Excellent food , seriously creamy and delicious humus! A must have! Their falafels are crisp and non greasy. Price is very reasonable and very quick service along with a wonderful atmosphere.
Great food and excellent service!!! Good to have a Mediterranean place to eat and take out in Kendall
The salad was prepared as expected, and when I added chicken they were so accommodating. Great staff as well as the food!
It may not be the most visually distracting - but this place ROCKS! It's one of the cheaper Middle Eastern restaurants I've seen, their dishes are DELICIOUS, and they offer lamb shawarmas. They may not state on the menu GYRO but you can request certain things to basically make your own. And what I loved almost as much as the food and price, was the small market they have selling various Middle Eastern foods/ingredients which I found amazing so I can try making some of my own dishes at home. Highly recommend giving these guys a shot.
Incredible experience. Exquisite food and incredible staff. Atmosphere on point!
Love this place. Food is delicious! Best chicken wrap!100% recommended
The food is delicious and authentic. It’s meats are grilled and flavorful without processed oil.
A plus on the chicken platter. Chicken great taste, rice just like mom would make.Great value.
Always delicious! We’ve eaten here for years and now drive from Fort Lauderdale and order for family gatherings in Miami. A family favorite!
Have tried several dishes including the lamb skewers, the beef shawarma, and the kafta platters; everything has been excellent every time, food is fresh and flavorful with unique middle eastern seasoning, Recommended sides include the lentil rice, the hummus, and greek salad. All of the desserts are delicious, I suggest the pistachio baklava. Def check this place out.
My mouth was watering for some Mediterranean delights and I’m happy I found Pita Grill on my way to Key West. We went for vegetarian food and had an awesome falafel wrap with fries, hummus and baba ganoush. Very delicious and fair price!
Best mediterranean restaurant out there! Emad did a fantastic job with providing me the best quality food and service. Also, there are a lot of vegan options which I absolutely love. My new favorite restaurant!!
This little Lebanese market makes delicious home-style cooking. I could eat here everyday. I usually have their chicken skewers, the tabouli, or the Greek-style salad, and the white rice with “fideos” but I’ve also tried and love their lentil rice and definitely their KIBEHs!! Yuuuuummmmmm!
This place has amazing food! Highly recommend it. The service is nice too, our server was very kind and caring.
Pita Grill has the best Mediterranean food. My favorite is their hummus, but all of their appetizers and platters are absolutely delicious!!!
I was sad when I went to the old location and found out that the place had closed. Happy to see that it has a new location which is even closer to where I live! Will be going there often again. Love the Mediterranean food they serve!
Very happy to have finally tried it. Good food. Excellent hummus and platters. Good service. Will absolutely be back
Patient service, great food, lots of baklava varieties and a decent grocery in the back
Food is great and they switched to a delivery that so far isn't charging an outrageous fee.
The chicken kebabs, garlic sauce, tabouli, hummus, Greek salad, and Namura are delicious.
What a pleasant finding! The food was fresh and delicious. The chicken kabob platter with baba ganoush, cucumber labaneh and lentil rice as sides was simply delicious.
They always have great food here. I enjoy the atmosphere and the staff is always very friendly. The food is very healthy alsol
I had a great experience at the Pita Grill! The gyro wrap were delicious - we ordered three, two chicken and one lamb. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor, while the lamb was tender and flavorful as well. The pita bread was fresh and fluffy, and the toppings were all fresh and tasty. The staff was also friendly and attentive, making sure our experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend the Pita Grill if you're looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere
We used Pita Grill and Market this last weekend for a last minute catering event. Not only was the food excellent, there was more than enough for what we ordered. Claudia is a great chef and we would definitely use them again.
My fiance and I love this place! We used to live nearby, and now live far away. We still make special trips to go here every chance we get! My favorite plate of comfort food in Miami, hands down, is the steak kebab platter with labne, tabbouleh, and chunked potatoes. We always start with a baba ganoush! While you wait, be sure to look at the goods for sale in the market, also inside.
I grabbed a quick to go (kefte platter), but the portions were large, the food was delicious, and I only waited about 5 minutes past the quoted time frame. I'll definitely be back! Best keftes and hummus I've had in SW Dade for sure. Oh, and CALL THE RESTAURANT for pick up, don't use the "online order" button. I had to pay extra (didn't realize I wasn't direct ordering because I was picking up) and that goes to some BS third party, not the restaurant. Call - that way, 100% of the money goes to them.
Food was delicious. It’s become very difficult to find a Mediterranean restaurant that perfects the authentic taste of food like the restaurants in the Middle East until I tried Pita Grill… Actually, this is so much like homemade food back home. Special thanks for the amazing salads (especially tabouleh), the falafel, the chicken and lamb were great… don’t forget the green sauce (cilantro?)- it goes great with everything. Delivery was prompt and food was hot!!
I recently had an incredible dining experience at Pita Grill & Market in Kendall, and I must say it felt like I was enjoying a meal in the comfort of my own home. The falafel was truly outstanding – perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside. The shawarma was bursting with tantalizing flavors that left me craving for more. The kibbe was a delightful surprise – a perfect blend of spices and meat that melted in my mouth. And let's not forget their hummus, which was so creamy and flavorful, it instantly became a new favorite. Pita Grill & Market Kendall has truly mastered the art of creating dishes that make you feel warm, loved, and satisfied. I cannot wait to return for another taste of home.
I love this place... the taste of their food is really delicious!! I was craving for a hummus wrap with cabbage... yummy! I like to order for pick up. I usually get the chicken skewers with the rice and salad. The restaurant is ok, but don't expect something fancy, but again, the food is AMAZING!
The food here is incredible!!!! One of the best Mediterranean food spots in Miami hands down especially for the price. The staff here is also amazing and makes you feel very welcome. It is run by an amazing family. One of the owners, Imad, really makes each customer a priority. I've been to Pita Grill many times and always love my experience here.
I ordered for take out the chicken platter one skewers with rice, hummus and Greek Salad. The food was very fresh. The size and the portion is more than enough for 1 person. I would say that if you order the 2 chicken skewers you can share the meal with one more person and both will be satisfied. The 1 skewer chicken was 4 big chunk pieces, it tasted as marinated in citrus juices. Very delicious and not dried at all. The rice was with angel hair pasta, and it had a garlic flavor, yummy. The Hummus was ok, like store bought,i have tasted better. It comes with pita bread as well. I'm coming back to try other menu items.
This place is great. Everything is so delicious. My order was perfect
I ordered from Uber Eats. It was INCREDIBLE. The best hummus I have ever eaten. The rose custard dessert was AMAZING. The rice, homemade pita chips, the chicken, toubouli, and lamb SO good. The best labneh ever. My small children even loved it! I plan to order again tomorrow!!
I have been coming here since it opened. Beyond amazing Mediterranean food. The owner is always a gracious host. Try the chicken kabob platter with lentil rice, salad and hummus. You won't be disappointed. Very casual and unassuming.
I was shopping across the street at At Home and found this place searching for "vegan food" nearby. The staff was very friendly, and the falafel was fresh. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.
What a find! Generous portions and quality meats, well seasoned. Did take out and food was ready very fast,, but Definitely was prepared just for me! Feels like a family owned business! Definitely going back again.
Always the best food in town. Highly recommend
This place has always been a favorite for my husband and I. We had our beautiful moment when i was here 2014 and since then we have never stopped coming here. This place serve best food and i would gladly recommend this to anyone who love Mediterranean food.
The best Mediterranean food in Miami (Kendall area). The food is fresh, they cook in front of you and everything taste good. Same flavors like the Arabians from Venezuela business type. I highly recommend!
The food is delicious, I love the people they traer good also the food is abundant and it taste like homemade I love it i eat here like twice per week, I highly recommend this place
A hidden jewel in West Kendall. The food is very good and don’t be tricked, portions are bigger than expected, you’ll be very satisfied. The staff is super friendly. For sure would return.
Very good restaurant and a very friendly manager. I had eaten at this place a few months back and loved the wraps I had, and the cashier machine didn't work, so I had to swipe again and accidentally it got charged twice. I didn't notice until much later and when I politely explained the situation to the manager, Osamah, he was incredibly sweet and offered to refund me. I instead just ordered food for that same price and it was delicious as usual. Excellent food, good atmosphere, and very kind customer service. Highly recommend this spot! :)
The food and service were excellent, we’ll be back soon!
I love their food but last visit the beef kabob was well-done vs medium as requested. They had a truly lovely tea and everything else was delicious. They seem to get a lot of delivery vs dine ins because we were the only ones. Owners are a Palestinian family and the only Palestinian restaurant I am aware of in this area. The food is authentic in flavoring, great hummus and baba ganoush.
Delicious, glad I have this restaurant in the neighborhood. Love Mediterranean food
Amazing lamb and unconditionally caring service. Thank you team!
Delicious food. The hummus is some of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken platter since it comes with 3 extra sides so I chose the angel rice, hummus and tabbouleh. Has a nice casual vibe that we all loved. Apparently it’s family owned and one of the sons helped us with the menu. Nice guy. The kids loved the food as well. Definitely coming back.
Beautiful place with amazing staff which makes the food all the better. I often come here for the baklava for my family and we all love it.
Food is really good here. You must try, flavors are soo unique a good mix of spices. Babaganoush has amazing favor. Their shawarwas with their salads are the best.
Such a delightful menu. Everything I ordered was delicious, the restaurant very clean and the customer service was excellent and attentive! by far my favorite Mediterranian food restaurant.
Mamun is an amazing guy yo! Food was amazing and customer service is excellent. Would go again!
food was delicious grape leaves 10/10 bury my body here
Excelente opción de la gastronomía libanesa y a precios muy competitivos. Definitivamente, un must go!
Excelente su comida les recomiendo el humus de verdad de los mejores que he comido en Miami. 100% recomendable
100% recommend, clean, the food is amazing. Literally middle east food well done and precise flavors. No doubt one of the best in town.
Great food, good service, but the atmosphere didn't feel 100% Mediterranean.
Great food! We were visiting Miami for vacation and our family took us there for dinner. Really amazing Mediterranean food and very affordable prices. I think service could improve a little.
The food was good and the service friendly. It took a bit long to have our food delivered but it was a big table, so we understood. Prices are rrasonable. The flavor reminded us of thw food wa ate in the middle east, probably the best showarma we've had so far in Miami
I have been there many times, the food is good, the only bad experience I have had is that they take looooonnngggg, so I always try to Order over the phone for pick up, and must of the times the phone is like disconnected. Takes me 45 mins from my work to my home and I try, try, and try for that long period of time and nothing, it is impossible to get in touch with them over the phone, and then when you get there and ask they act like there is nothing wrong with the phone line. That incident have had happened to me a lot, yesterday I said they do not need my money, they do not value their customers so I am going to spend my money somewhere else. I went to Puerto Madero, OMG we thanks Pita Grill for the opportunity to try something else, everything at Puerto Madero was delicious, my husband my son and I, three different dishes and each one was delicious, more money but worth it.
In the past visits the food was outstanding and the service superb. In this visit we had to pick up our drinks from the cooler. The service was poor and the fiod tasted bland.
I ordered delivery for the first time and I must say the food was very good as well as the presentation, looking forward to visiting the restaurant. Though the name and description are Italian, there are lots of Spaniard and Mediterranean dishes.
Food is consistently good. They have a little area to sell middle Eastern groceries. I'm not sure the focus is on the eat in experience, since the service at lunch has been pretty awful both times I've been there. Food came out before we got water and even then, had to remind the server. Rating ok because of the service.
Picked up 2 shawarma platters which came with three sides. All the sides were delicious. What was very disappointing was the Shawarma meat. It was chopped very small and it was dry. It felt like leftover meat that was reheated. Didn’t taste like it came fresh off the spit today.
This place has gone down the Tubes , the Quality of the Food has consistently gotten worse , Especially there Meats , Yet there prices continue to increase..Dont waste your time on this place. Very Low quality food that is way overpriced.
Good food but it takes looooong time and if you don’t be on top of your order, they don’t make it as your order. I waited for 55 minutes and they weren’t even busy, they told me it would take 20-25 minutes.
We order two gyros las week , they didn’t taste to good the meet was very dry we end up not eating them , not buying gyros there any more!!
we live close to this restaurant and we wanted to to order take out but when we saw that uber eats considered it closed even if it was 8:20 pm and it was written that they closed at 9:00 pm I tryed calling them so I can order and pick up after 5 minutes.. the phone sounded always busy so I decided to drive out there arriving at 8:35… when we wanted to order they immediately said that only the market was open until 9:00 !!! I mean really !!! but luckily their next door neighbor sushi place that was completely packed had no problem sitting us down.. luckily there are people out there that want to run a normal business!!! oh yeah by the way it was a Friday night.. my suggestion to them is always try to hold on to a client…
Just Ordered, through grub hub, it was delivered as soon as it was ready so is not GrubHub fault, two wraps and they were cold to touch. French fries looked like day old fries. Requested diet drinks, received regular drinks. Seems like quality and attention to details is terrible.
Too much lemon in the food like hummus and salads it takes from the experience of middle eastern food. The pictures on the website deceiving nothing like the pictures. Not as friendly as they say on the reviews. So sorry but this is the truth. I hope they take this seriously and change for the better. Thank you Jamil Mansour.
How does a place manager to always get your orders wrong. It's a shame because their food tastes great but for the life of them they can never get something so simple such as no onions please, or no sauce It almost feels like they go against what you said on purpose.
He quality since the new management has gone to garbage. I eat the meat kabob and it used to be great quality meat, now it’s hard and you can’t eat it. Thumbs down, shame. Was a great place.
I just placed my order on Uber eats and had to call to cancel the order amount. It literally took a minute to call and intead of 3 items I wanted 2. So after a few minutes I've received a call from Pita-n- grill stating that "they will not deliver the food to me; because they have to throw away the food. And proceeded to HANG UP the phone. Do not order from a place that treats customers like this!
First visit, Meat was burnt, I had to cut the burnt pieces with the knife, And still meat was chewy Little flies flying unseen came to land and pose on my cup Hummus was good but they put oil on top that was weird Would not come back. I don't know how the rating made it to 4.0.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I usually come to this place to buy middle eastern supplies for my house. Today was the first time my family and I decided to go and order some food so we can try the quality of this business. At around 5:50 we arrived to this place looking for a table to sit. When we came in to the store, the 3 people ( 2 females and 1 male) behind the counter didn’t greet us, they just ignore us completely. When we got closer to the counter the 2 ladies that are usually there were talking and laughing while we were trying to get their attention to order. We tried multiple times to get their attention but they kept talking, laughing with each other while making eye contact with us. As expected we left the place but no before saying why we were leaving the store. They obviously didn’t care and didn’t say a words to us while we were leaving. It’s so a shame that these people represent this business because doesn’t matter how good the products are, their customer service is the reason why this place it’s always empty. If you are looking to buy middle eastern supplies and great food with a good customer service I would recommend to visit ALADDIN MARKET & GRILL.
I bought a box of Turkish candies along with the food. The food was delicious, but the candy was rancid so I took it back to get my money back or try to get another box. The manager was mad because he said he had to throw it out, he told me that no one had ever claimed anything. He didn’t refund the entire amount because he said it was for taxes. The total amount was $11.98. He said not to go back to his store. There were some people who heard him yelling at me. Very poor management. He needs anger management lessons. I’ll never buy from them again.
There was a change of owner and the attention and quality of service has deteriorated. The current manager Mr. Osama is permanently grumpy. I recently received a damaged meal and had to return it. The owner was upset. The change has been for the worse. From now on I will go to another Arabic food place. Very bad service.
I never write reviews for a restaurant but the experience I had today deserves one and it all goes to the really bad service I had today. I’m giving 1 star because the system doesn’t give me the option for none. I have been ordering ubereats from here for a long time, the food is always amazing. Today I had the bad luck of ordering take out and my order was all wrong. If you ever make an order and its wrong don’t even bother to ask for a refund, that’s not an option! After a long day of work (12 hrs shift) I just wanted to have a nice dinner, relax and it became a mission went I called the restaurant because I didn’t get what I ordered. What a disappointment, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody. 🙁
I use to go to pita grill at the old address with my family almost every other week. It's true that the owner treats the ladies that work there in a rude manner. The food use to be good and the portions were good. But yesterday it was not the same. Portion were smaller and the price went up by a dollar. Did not get water and had to surve our self. Meat was hard and not juicy. IF YOU WANT A GOOD MIDDLE EAST FOOD TRY SHAH OF KABOB @Sunset
This review is for the OWNER: I placed an order via Grubhub for pickup and upon arriving to the store I was told by the MANAGER that someone else had come to pick up the order. I told him that's impossible as the order was under my wife's name who was waiting in the car outside. He then proceeded to argue with me rather than simply acknowledging the mistake. I even showed my phone which confirmed the order which had not been picked up. After going back and forth, he then said that he'll make the order. Had I not been so insisting, I'm sure I would've left empty-handed EVEN THOUGH THE ORDER WAS PAID FOR ALREADY. I understand that mistakes happen but to be so unapologetic and unremorseful is befuddling to me when it was clear that the the restaurant was at fault, not me. In fact, the WORKERS actually did apologize once the order was re-made (the manager saw me and went in the other direction). It's truly a sad story when the workers have more customer service skills than the actual manager. It's a shame because the food is actually very good but I will not be returning. I can only hope that the matter will be addressed with this "manager".
It's unfortunate that i have to write this review as i used to eat here frequently. My order was wrong which happens i get it no biggie. I was missing more than half my order. I got take out and should have checked it before. When I called asking for partial refund i was told I had to come in to re run my card and the grill was closed so they could not re fire the order. I told them that's rather inconvenient but went back anyways. When I got there they had my order ready which at this point all i wanted was a refund for making me come all the way back. I was treated like I did something wrong and given $12 out of the register cash for a $43 order. They never asked me for the card. When I observed the pita that was not included with the order being prepped on top of a dirty cooler with cleaning products right next to it i didn't accept it them either. To me that was unacceptable. When I asked for an email for the owner or contact information i was given the number to a random guy. The person in charge wearing a grey mercedes polo with a black hat clearly doesn't know anything about customer service or sanitation.
I placed an order 3 hours ago. The food was never delivered. I called to ask and Laura, the person who answered the phone claimed that they have no control over the delivery company; they didn't even have a phone # where I can reached Postmates. Be aware of this restaurant sending your food with a company they have no communication with.
To be honest what I ordered look nothing like the photos false advertising also the rap comes with no side compliments the meat was very little portion the lettuce very little portion cucumbers and tomatoes everything was little portioned the meat was dry it was horrible I would never go back there again I expected a big wrap with a lot of meet a lot of everything with a side at least some fries obviously the owner is stingy as hell. Do not recommend this place it is horrible it's a rip-off overpriced. 🤬
As a middle eastern I had higher expectations. First time here and last time here. The meat was extremely hard. I ordered the family platter for take out and was very disappointed. And this is not the only Mediterranean restaurant I have been to in Miami. Please do better.
