I looked at the past reviews and was looking forward to seeing the crazy manager and the subpar service just to get a laugh and to my disappointment The Porterhouse has gone through major employment changes. It is now under new management. James the new manager is as real as they come. My bartender Gaby has been on point every time my glass was empty with a refill and recommended me the best ribs I’ve had in a long long time. (And under $20)She made me one of the best Irish coffee’s I’ve ever had. Mind you she made with Italian espresso. Well worth it. Don’t pay attention to prior reviews. The Porterhouse is DEFINITELY worth visiting!!! Had such a good time….. Here again for round 2. Tonight my bartender is Anastasia. Soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a menu. So far I haven’t had to wait for a drink refill. She took the time to help me decide the perfect drink for my mood. To my surprise she garnishes my drinks with an art form that reminds me of a 5 start restaurant. Not to mention they taste AMAZING! This place is THE hidden gem of the island! Your wallet will thank you too.

We have been coming to the Porterhouse for almost 2 decades now — and we just love it. The food is great (must try oysters Rockefeller and the NY strip!) at reasonable prices. And drinks have always been more than fair, be it the 3-4-1 special there was or the prices after the pandemic right now. Service varies, of course, but after so many years, good experiences outweigh the few less favorable ones by far. Haven’t me the owner / manager yet, but couldn’t say a bad word about that place! (We are living in Germany but visit SIB 2-3 times per year since 1993 now!) After rather 100+ visits of the Porterhouse, not every singe experience was as good as it gets, but the after all experience is really great and it definitely is a place I would recommend to anybody anytime!

Everything about the food was fantastic. Loved the chili and the baby back ribs. My only complaint would be that the drink glasses are too small. Had to wait just a little too long for refills. With larger glasses this wouldn’t be an issue. Otherwise, 5 stars from me.

The waitress was super sweet and soft spoken. The salad and fried calamari were delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The location was perfect, right off the beach. The food came out quickly. I would strongly recommend them.

Read Previous reviews and decided to go and try For ourselves we were a party of three we were pleasantly surprised the waitress was extremely nice and courteous jovial also we had a wonderful meal of pork chops and chicken Parmesan and Calamar we mentioned to the waitress that we’d like to meet the manager seeing that we read so much about him from previous Customers he was extremely nice and friendly we had a few good laughs I told him about my Experiences as a waitress when I was young . Don’t always believe what you Read in reviews some people are never satisfied Always finding fault even though it’s unfounded. Great neighborhood bar! The outdoor area is nice and breezy, you can smell the salty ocean breeze while enjoying your ridiculously affordable happy hour drinks! The chicken wings and the porterhouse fries are consistently delicious. As an added bonus you can gaze upon the opulent buildings lining Collins Blvd's east side and watch how the traffic is littered with supercars.

I recently visited Porterhouse in Sunny Isles with a friend and was pleasantly surprised to learn they are under new management—what a fantastic change! One of the oldest bars in Sunny Isles is finally becoming more alive! From the moment we arrived, the hostess was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a great evening. The menu has expanded with more diverse options, and we really enjoyed the fish tacos, calamari, and some refreshing margaritas! The service was outstanding—everyone was so attentive and friendly, which is hard to find in Miami these days. The DJ added to the great vibe, making it the perfect spot for a lively evening. I can’t wait to come back for a live music night. Highly recommend! 🎶✨

I went there for the lobster fest. $25 for a lobster is a steal. The foods was outstanding and the drinks were good too .

Went in for dinner on a Friday evening with my two teenagers. Salads were great. My son said “best burger I’ve had in a long time!” It was great overall, pretty decent prices for being right next to the beach, great service, great atmosphere. New owner/operator was great! He said he just took over recently and is making a strong effort to turn it into a great place. As we’re sitting at dinner I mentioned to my family that I bet this place gets rocking in the evening hours. A fun place to hang out late at night I’m sure , plus walkable to all the local condos. We had a great meal for our last night of vacation and we’ll definitely be back!!!

The closest thing I've found to a Dive in Sunny Isles. In all the best of ways. Dim lights, lively atmosphere, large variety of age in patrons. Fun and energetic staff, and friendly people.

I enjoyed my experience. It began rather unpleasant with the two bartenders. Initially, they ignored me sitting at the bar and then told me I couldn't be served inside due to wearing a sleeveless shirt. I was told I could sit on the patio. The bartenders either need training or dismissal. Once outside I really enjoyed myself. Juan Diego was my server and very attentive. He was very good. I met the new owner, Jack. He was very personable. The 341 is good and I hope to return before my vacation is over. (Delete the previous low ratings and the overall would be a big 4.) Well worth the vacation experience.

Had the fish tacos and they were delicious, nice atmosphere and you can't beat the 3 drinks for one special.

Porter House is your neighborhood’s friendly bar and restaurant. The new management has made a lot of improvements. The food and the atmosphere is great. They have events and live music/dj performances on some nights. The hosts Julia and Nila are very professional and make you feel welcome the moment you step foot in. The service needs a little improvement. Overall I give a 5 star for this place.

It's nice to see the owner/manager has recently refrained from commenting on guest reviews. Now clean up the restaurant including service and food quality. Clean house and hire some customer service experts. I don't care how long they have worked there for. An employee with a bad attitude can damage the entire restaurant operation. Keep your head up Porterhouse. Remember no restaurant is perfect. We all have room to improve. I hope the owner/manager sees this review and considers my advice. Take care and better dining experiences in the future!

New owner! Omgosh. After 20 years of going to porterhouse it is returning to what it USED to be. A local, friendly place. Personable staff. Food is good too! BUT you can find good food in many places. It is bartenders like Alonso that makes a place special!

We had meeting at porterhouse and it was amazing, our server Gene was great, very friendly and attentive, manager Anastasia was running place with high professionalism and care. The atmosphere was welcoming, i believe is a direct reflection of the excellent leadership. I highly recommend Porterhouse to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. I'm so glad that I decided to give it another try for a drink today and met Jack, the new managing partner. He's a great guy who is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. This place was amazing. We were able to sit outside. It was beautiful to look at the cars and the traffic and people watch a great breeze was blowing. The porterhouse, and the mashed potatoes were delicious the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter Was attentive And friendly. I will definitely recommend this place to friends.

I had such an awesome time! Came here for a family gathering and birthday. Had the lobster! Wow $25 for a whole lobster! And it was delicious. And it was delicious! They even made me a special drink that’s not on their menu. Good times! Thank you!

Best bar in Miami! Food was great and the drinks were amazing. We came in on a whim and came back the next night because it was so fun! The 11 o'clock show was electric and the band got everybody in the place dancing. Jack, the manager, was very welcoming and fun. He made us feel like family, and his friends became our friends overnight. When we come back to Miami, this will be our first stop!

Come for Yamandu - the best server in the world! As an oyster lover my whole life never in all my years have I found a place to eat oysters and drink with such attentive generous service; all the staff are phenomenally friendly and professional, especially Yamandu, and for a restaurant that on Sundays serves bottomless oysters, every single one is of high, fantastic quality these oysters! Nowhere on this continent will one find a better deal or better service than here certainly not a better server than Yamandu. Unparalleled restaurant experience. If you eat at only one place along this coast, let it be here and let it be Sunday bottomless oysters.

Last Saturday had a blast there, amazing live music gipsy Latin with DJ and singer, tried the skirt steak that was unbelievable, so juicy! Super recommended

Came for the first time with my husband for happy hour on a Friday night. 3 for one drinks, enough said!! There was a live band playing 90's music <3 The waitress was polite, knowledgable and efficient. We had the Calamari app that was cooked perfectly & stayed crisp until the last bite. We ordered the Wells Fargo sandwich and Thai steak salad.both were delicious. Very happy with my visit.

This place is a longtime favorite hangout of mine. BUT you have to know what to expect to enjoy this place. This spot has 3 for 1 drinks!!! You come for drinks! I usually just stick to the same few tried and true dining options. Smoking is allowed indoors here. Sometimes they have live music and theres cute outdoor seating. I don't come for 5 star dining or excellent customer service. IJS

The food was Amazing; prices are definitely reasonable. Our waitress Teodora was extremely polite; the bathrooms were SUPER clean. 3 for 1 drinks specials were a big hit for me. The only thing I would ask of this restaurant is if they mandated their mask policy a little better. Other than that- I definitely recommend.

Fresh and delicious food. Happy hours between 4pm and 9pm. But people smoke not only on the street at the tables but also indoors. So if you prefer a non-smoking room, you will not find it.

Walked in no reservation needed . However all the waitresses/waiters was busy at the moment. So the host who seated us actually served us & I was happy! Because if he haven’t me & my girl would have to wait a while . I ordered some simple wings . Barbecue actually very tasty & crunchy just how I like them. My girl had medium rare steak & potatoes with cheese with bacon added , side of sour cream . Also she ate the oysters for an appetizers , I’m sure it was good because she ate them all . Only reason I didn’t give 5 starts because the bathroom is not as clean as it should be, but they are remodeling so I didn’t think too much of it .

It is interesting to read all these comments because none of them happened to me. It is a typical bar with russian speaking team and every time I go here (mostly Saturday nights) I sit at the bar where I meet new people every time and make friends. Prices are reasonable. The blonde bartender is very funny with a beautiful smile. She remembers every detail too. So I do not need to speak each time because she already knows. After reading the comments and the answers, I specifically wanted to meet the manager, whom I assumed him to be Russian, and he happened to be a very typical american manager. Actually I try to understand the negative comments and try to find such things but all I see is the same regular faces/customers who keep coming. Btw it is closed until afternoon but stays open until midnight. My latest was 2.30 am but the bar was still busy when I left. Long story short, see you guys on Saturday!!

Excelente ubicación, caminando en dirección a McDonald’s porque tenía ganas de una hamburguesa, encontré este lugar por casualidad. Para empezar muy buena impresión con el chico que me recibió, muy amable me ayudó con recomendaciones del menú, bebí una cerveza Moon Light por $5 usd y una hamburguesa bien servida con un par de extras (jalapeños y queso azul) al final mi cuenta fue de $20 usd me pareció bastante buen precio. Un par de detalles que podrían mejorar como las papas fritas y la limpieza del lugar, mi mesa estaba sucia, se notaba que no la limpiaron después que los comensales antes de mi la dejaron.

Updated review: 11/11/24 I raved about this place when I had my birthday party here back in February, I came back tonight and it was a totally different place, ( It's under new management.... AGAIN) different prices, different atmosphere, different look, they got rid of the pool table, it's no longer my local favorite casual bar, I am so sad. They're trying to make it upscale, the prices are just like everywhere else in Miami now. No reason for me to come back, super bummed out because it was the only place like it around. I hope they bring it back to the way it was. I didn't recognize any of the staff, But to be fair, I don't normally come on a Monday, I don't know if it's all different people, I can't complain about them though. The previous stafff was really amazing, and the staff tonight was nice as well. There was a comedy show I didn't know that was going to happen, probably wouldn't have come if I knew about it. Just wanted to have a chat at the bar with a friend.. I ordered one drink, my friend ordered two and we shared a pizza, the bill was like 90 bucks. I don't think my bill was ever more than 20 bucks here previously. 😭😭 Sometimes, change is good, not in this case. Probably won't be back. (I've heard similar reviews from Friends that don't want to come back either since the recent change) This review is from 2/2/24 I've been coming to porterhouse for years and it's always just been an okay experience, but now they are under new management so I decided to have my birthday party there last night.. I brought in 18 people, Jack the manager greeted me as soon as I walked in, and Anastasia, the bartender was super sweet and efficient. We were all treated so well, the prices are fair, the DJ played good music at a volume where we were still able to have conversations. Everyone had such a great time, I can't thank the staff enough!!

The service was mediocre and refills are not free. The French onion soup didn't meet my expectations. The Porter House steak was tender but lacked flavor. We had to request salt and pepper. Sitting outside was unpleasant due to the hookah smoke.

The injustice the friendly manager committed against me was arguably minor, however nonzero, permanently lasting, and disturbing in principle. I was already biased in Jack’s favor upon arriving, having read the negative reviews and his responses thereto. As a business owner myself, I know the customer is usually wrong in such disputes, especially in the service industry. Jack has to deal with rude, puerile customers here and in person. Jack has been unfairly slandered at times in these reviews. I still suspect Jack is mostly innocent and falsely criticized in the vast majority of the negative reviews. A few moments after I sat down amicably greeted by the bartender, the manager, Jack, politely informed me the tank top I was wearing was not allowed. I respectfully indicated that I would return shortly with a nicer shirt. Jack assured me they’d be open to 3 and I was welcome to return. It was clear that I would have been ordered to leave if I did not respectfully acquiesce to the manager’s polite request. Jack said it had been this way for 22 years. In this very quick exchange, I asked Jack if I could have possibly known about the no-tank-top rule. I forget his exact words, but he admitted to me the rule was unpublished: that not any similarly situated customer in my shoes could have possibly known of this rule before entering. I examined all signage, as well as the Google Maps profile and the listed website. The rule is as secret as it is anomalous in the industry context of the casual atmosphere and price range found at Porterhouse. Jack committed three injustices against me. 1) By depriving all conscious-rule-abiding customers any possible advance notice whatsoever of the secret dress-code before arriving, Jack unfairly cost me the time and embarrassment of having to leave and perform the change in clothing; 2) the business’s failure to give any reasonable prospective client advance notice of rules which are in excess of prevailing social norms newly and permanently deprived me of my claim to the status of never in my life having been asked to leave a restaurant due to dress-code-non-compliance; 3) Jack committed intentional or unintentional gender bias by applying a differing, relaxed set of rules to females in his business, which I detail as follows. The female bartender who greeted me was herself wearing a very revealing black tank-top. The cutaneous surface area exposed to air on her part far exceeded mine, with midsection visible. Her attire was socially appropriate and contextually apt for May in Miami while working at a loud bar, as was mine while attending. However, a prohibition against wearing tank-tops was selectively applied against me as a male customer. I note there was also a female customer at the bar who donned clothing exposing her shoulders. She was never confronted over infraction of dress code. I support the business’s legal right to make whatever rules it wants; even the gender discrimination I experienced should not be unlawful in my opinion. It is, however, morally contemptible. Jack’s abject failure to empower me with any way of discovering his rules until unwilfully violating them, and his failure to apply the same rule to at least one and likely two other females in his property, is reasonable cause for a lower review than I graciously leave out of profound deference and benefit of the doubt to the manager. He seems like a generally highly respectable individual, however he ought to create a proper website and/or signage apprising customers of his longstanding gender-discriminating no-tank-top-for-males-only rule. The manager did not welcome or acknowledge me during my dress-compliant return and stay for dinner. I ordered the signature Porterhouse steak. It was superbly excellent. The service was competent, timely, and professional. I may return to have another excellent meal; if so, I would hope to be politely greeted by the manager just as he had greeted the woman who was sitting next to me at the bar after I returned, paying no further attention to me.

Summary: food is decent, 7 or of 10. Customer service sucks, 5 out of 10. Atmosphere, depends on what you're looking for. Not a place for small talk. Went with a group of 9 people. Outside was packed but inside had a full bar and maybe 2 or 3 groups. It didn't appear to be super busy but they had a good amount of customers. Our waitress approaches our table and takes our orders rather quickly. She didn't get rude until the food came out. Apparently there was ask extra order of fries (which none of us ordered) so she proceeds to say "No you guys ordered an extra order of fries but that's ok" and tried to shove my to go container in my hand. I understand she may have been stressed but you really need to check your attitude when working in customer service. Music was INCREDIBLY loud, food was ok. Reasonable

I did not eat, came to check out the Happy Hour and as advertised it's three drinks for the price of one. I had the Merlot and it was really good. Great price. Great Happy Hour! Thus the 5 stars for food. Service was awful. How hard is it to teach a bartender to say a welcoming "Hello, How are you?" Instead they look at you like something the cat dragged in. Atmosphere was normal. I sat at the bar. Nothing special. Music was at a good level though.

We were a little reluctant to try this place based on their previous reviews, but it really wasn't too bad. Food was decent, we were greeted by our waitress who was polite. We had a child with us which they clearly do not get many of. They do not have a kids food menu nor any kind of color book or kids entertainment. We ordered a flatbread for our son which came out first (👍) but... it could have been cooked a little longer as the bottom was still pretty soft. Our other food was good. Overall, we were pleased with our decision.

Foods alright if you been drinking just spent $60 on 2 drinks chicken and soup.... So appetizers... The server came once but it's ok. The P in the sign is missing. Place is beautiful music is meh. We were the only table in the restaurant @7 pm on a Friday night.

This is one of the ONLY bars open even remotely late around the Sunny Isles area. The ambience is somewhat bland and incredibly underlit, the music is too loud, however the redeeming quality that keeps this place afloat any lower rating is their “happy hour” drinks. Their shots and mixed drinks all happen to be $4, which is fantastic when you consider the prices probably anywhere else. I can’t tell if their drinks were a bit too diluted or not since they did not seem strong, though. Also I would not recommend the spinach dip. I expected a nice pile of chips with the dip, and while the dip itself was not bad, the amount of chips were pitiful for the $10 price. In the end, come here if you want to be out late (we were there until around 3am), but only expect to get drinks and sit outside if you want it to be a bit quieter so that you can talk.

Food was good. I really didn’t have a bad experience. I guess they’re understaffed And the waiters are not the nicest but it’s a nice place to sit outside and have a drink at.

THIS PLACE IS OK! Their regular price for drinks and food is good and their Happy Hour is great. The night we went there it was extremely crowded and they had live music, the only issue was that due to the set up of the small stage for the band playing it got very loud and we couldn’t hear each other on the table we ended up moving to another table. There is a pool table in the back if you like to play a bit. Restroom was not clean maybe because the place was packed. Their staff was friendly and helpful the food was ok.

The place wasn’t super busy we got there around 4-430ish , the service was honestly not good. Waiter didn’t check on us often, seemed a little more worried about flirting with the over server rather than servicing tables. The food was good, quite enjoyable. My cosmo tasted like watered down vodka. And My friends Long Island tasted water down as well. Sprite also tasted like water. Bill was about 120 dollars for 3 people. I wouldn’t come here again I kinda would’ve rather we have gone to chillis

My partner and I have been coming to Porter House since we moved into the area 6 years ago. Its always a hit or miss with the servic especially sitting at the bar. Its seems the bartender overlook us and gives us poor service every time. I understand they may be under staffed but it happens every time we go there. The food and drinks are great but customer service is horrible. We like to give our money to places in the neighborhood but tonight we made up our minds not to ever come back. One of the bartenders noticed we were not getting service and took our drink order. However the main bartender who I don't know her name did not acknowledge us or made an effort to take our drink order or even ask if we wanted water. It's sad because she has served us many times. I wish the restaurant success but I will not longer support this business in my community.

Only giving 2 stars because the manager did apologize and the server was nice. We spent 83.00 here, and when my husband asked to exchange his beer the bar tender. Long blonde hair and terrible attitude yelled No. We could hear her all the way across the restaurant at our table. She then looked over at us and proceeded taking care of her bar customers. When I asked the girls name the manager wouldn't give it to me. When I told them I would be talking to upper management, the gentleman informed me he was it. So he did comp the beers, but we had to leave because the bar girls attitude was unbearable to look at and enjoy a 40.00 steak and couldn't even ask for a cold beer without being yelled at.... I believe it could have been handled much better than it was. Good luck is all I have to say and please don't complain because it goes unheard.... Save yourself the time...the 3.2 rating is legit. It's not great. Down the road is shenanigans...you have a great atmosphere and great food.

Food was good, service needs improvement and more attention. Our server never checked on our food quality and never asked for more drinks. The restaurant doesn’t have have a drinks menu, we were just told that they have a full bar.

This place was HORRIBLE, the female bartender was horrible. 10 people sitting at the bar and she could not handle it. Never came back to see if we needed anything. She stayed at one end of the bar the entire night. The person sitting next to us was banging his glass on the bar to get her attention. Had to get the server to get her attention to get us the bill. Ordered a Blue Moon beer, the oranges smelled like vinegar, they were that bad, rotten. Had an attitude when we asked for a fresh beer. The flat bread pizza tasted like they were microwaved. I definitely would not recommend this place. Stay far away. I would give no stars if i was allowed. I just read alot of other reviews and most if not all of them mention the blond bartender. How funny is it that so many people have had the same bad experience. Enjoy your $2.50 tip. You weren't woth that much.

Buyer beware! Went for a couple of drinks with a friend which were ok, but way overpriced. When I checked my Credit Card statement an additional $9.80 had been added to the bill! Check your bank accounts as this is fraud! The receipt said our server was "Mauricio" so not sure if he altered the numbers or management did, but this is absolutely disgraceful!!

I recently visited the restaurant and was looking forward to a nice meal with my family! Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the extremely slow service. It's unfortunate because I had high hopes for this place. I hope they can improve their service, as I would like to give them another try in the future. I hope they address their service issues to provide a better experience for their customers.

Whatever you do don't order the ribs, they definitely don't fall off the bone. After sending the ribs back I did get a very nice burger. The fries are not fries but thick cut chips (very fatty). We won't be going back

I ordered a steak. Asked for well done! My steak came out medium.i asked for chicken in place of the horrible steak. The manager comes out and says let me cook it a little more for you please. He also stated that i don't have to pay for it but just try it any way. The waiter comes out with the bill. We were charged for the steak. I called him out on it and asked why am I being charged for something I didn't like? He leaves the table and retuned saying, I'm sorry we have to charge you. Smh .. these people are crooks! Leaving another one star review as I can't reply to the owner's response to my girlfriend's review. He asked why we were still sitting there for another half hour after her leaving a bad review - BECAUSE THE WAITER NEVER CAME OVER TO US, AND HAD OUR RECEIPT WRONG. To repeat what my girlfriend said in her review, we literally had to wave him down every single time and it wasn't busy. We also ordered food that never came out. Might not have been his fault for the food not coming out, but it took us extra time to leave for him to fix. After looking at other reviews, the owner clearly has no regard for costumer service. Also, sounds racist. Also, doesn't apologize for any bad review, and can't handle criticism. We only went there cause it was close to our hotel. DON'T GO THERE!!!

Waitress was very rude to us since we arrived. When we tried to ask for service the waitress didn't even try to be courteous to us. We felt so unwelcome. She never even asked us what drinks we would like. We ended up leaving after 20 minutes of no service. Update: if you don't believe me. Just see their reply. What kind of service of that? Instead of trying to understand what happened with their customer they went directly into the same type of arrogant service we received upon arriving. And no we were not told she would come back to us. She just left us with no excuse. We waited and waited and she never came back.

Horrible service, crazy manager!!! Homeless lady asked me to buy some food for her, - closest palace was Porterhose. I was going to order, pay and leave, while homeless lady set at the bar(she had clean clothes, no any bad smell from her, not drunk or on drugs) when a bar manager (refuse to provide his name) approached to us and asked to leave the property! I explained the manager, that she is a Porterhouse customer and I’ll pay for her food - manager claimed that it doesn’t work this way and I can’t do it, they don’t want to see her inside and she has to leave since she has no shoes. I haven’t noticed that she had no shoes, it was 9pm already, dark outside - dark inside the bar, manager started threatening with a police call, and we agreed to wait outside the bar but still ready to make the order! Manager Refused to accept our order TO GO while we are waiting at the public sidewalk and claimed that the sidewalk belongs to the bar and we still have to go away, and no one is going to place our order. When you guys refuse to her - you refuse to me as well, you treat your customers like a pice of sh👆t!!! Instead of handle it nicely and feed us - you decided to make up your own crazy rules and refuse in service! I Will never recommend your bar to anyone, even now your railing is 3,2. - but you deserve 0!

Horrible service. Waitress and manager were extremely rude. They didn't want to serve us because a couple of my friends had international ids, even though we are all over 21. The manager straight up yelled at and asked us to leave when we were trying to explain our situation. He felt personally offended when my friend started saying "look..." as he tried to explain why he didn't have a passport, and asked us to leave. Would not recommend at all. Take your business elsewhere. Not even worth the 5 minutes we were there.

Super slow service. We ordered a plate of nachos. Cold cheese on top of stale chips. When we asked about the topping that were listed on the peeling dirty menus. When we questioned the waiter, he looked confused and brought us three 1oz cups (1 tspn) of salsa, sour cream and brown guacamole. When I told him I was not happy he didn’t offer to remove it, remake it or get the manager. Stay away from this place

The customer service of this place is the worst. The Russian waitress and the manager of the restaurant told us to f… ourselves after the rudest welcoming we got. I would recommend to stay out of customer service industry with such attitude. By the way, right around the corner there is a Cuban place, El Tropical, go there and ask for Carlos. I guarantee, you will get the most amazing drinks, food and service which is based on the respect and love to the customer. You will be able to experience Cuba with its hospitality and love without leaving the US. And for the management of porterhouse, I suggest to provide your staff with classes how to treat customers with respect and leave Soviet Union level of service back at homeland.

Waiter slow as if he didn't want to work. The food compares to McDonald's or Burger King slap it on plate whatever it taste like no one cares. Personally 6 people in my party and I order a fajitas plate with the trimmings as per the menu, asked the guy for the lettuce and cheese he tells me that is not the traditional trimmings. Avoid this place as three of people in my party working or have worked in establishments this is not one to go to

On Monday, September 20, in the evening, we decided to have a pleasant evening with my husband. We liked coming to this cafe as we live across the street and the food is delicious, but the service staff in this cafe is just disgusting. This is not the first time we come across such behavior of waitresses in this cafe, where they do not know how to communicate with customers, do not at all understand that they should have left their mentality in their homeland. And this evening was no exception, your waitress spoke very boorishly, no ethics of conduct in conversation with us. We asked where you can write a complaint, to which she replied that they have a manager, and when asked what her name was, she quickly ran away and did not give her name. The evening was ruined. I do not recommend going to this institution, as people with a low level of thinking work there.

Never be back there, the manager is incredible rude, nasty, unprofessional. Yelled at us because we want 3 separate tables for our group. We even couldn't explain we will respect social distance. He just start to yelled in front of all people "get out of my place". I know was uncomfortable for everybody. One employee like him is a shame. Poor people who need to work with him. At the end, he did us a favor, because we went to a Duffy's and we had a really great time, the service was awesome and food delicious. Couldn't be better. The worst manager I meet in my whole life.

We went here this evening for drinks and some food. First off the waitress did not introduce herself then stood so far away she could not here our drinks order correctly after being told twice she still got the order wrong and my sister in-law waited ten minutes to get the correct drink. Then the food order was taken this was understood eventually. The food came and on the whole was good except my sister in-laws nachos which were tasteless, had the waitresses returned to the table to ask was everything ok she would have known, instead she was told when clearing the table, no apology was made or questions to find out what hat was wrong. We paid the bill and left my sister in-law was last to leave it was only then that the waitress ask was was wrong with then and she was very rude telling my sister in-law not to come back. I have never had such poor service in all of my life.

I have a condo across the street from this establishment and when I tell you I received attitude and left at the bar side during happy hour for a meal and drinks couldn’t be more disappointed in my life! Besides the fact of those barmaids with those mugs and nasty attitude they decided to charge me full price after the gentleman told me it’s happy hour! Never again! The food was mediocre to say the least. I will be reaching out to health department as well. Get this establishment closed down ASAP!

We had just left the beach and wanted to go eat some ribs at this place. Unfortunately, the manager told us we couldn't eat inside because my husband was wearing a sleeves shirt. It is very funny because I was wearing a blouse with spaghetti straps but the issue was his shirt... they told us we could eat outside but it was raining so bad that it felt like a joke. No one is going to eat outside when it's raining and all tables are wet. It's understandable that they have a dress code, what's not, is how rude the manager is, how unprofessional and how bad he talks to customers. He is very unprofessional and rude in every single way. If this is how he treats his customers, i dont want to imagine how he treats his employees. I feel bad for all the people that come across him. All I can say is that it is very understandable why this place is always empty. With management like that, this place is not going very far. We left and went to Flanigans and had a wonderful time and the service was amazing compared to this garbage. To the manager, thank you for your bad service, we had a great time somewhere else!

Literally, I didn't want to rate this place. But after on every 1 star review I see 5 stars nonames with fotos not from this place, I can't stay calm. Every low star review is correct. I saw the manager and the guy is not interested in this place. He is just a common retire who wants no trouble, so employees get the best of him. The place survives only due to lack of competitors, pricing and this is the only place that works till 3 a.m. 1. Food. No, sorry, food is average at best. Typical sport bar with most things fried or buttered. All 5 stars for food are definitely fake or from people with low expectations. 2. Drinks. Beer is awful, guiness is spoiled. As idle kegs were opened months ago. Manager, we will be obliged if you visit Tap House or any other brewery and taste real beer. Fresh. Girls make nice cocktails though, but straight drinks are cheap ingredients. 3. If I could separate, I would give 4-5 stars to servants, who work in veranda. And 2 stars for bartenders and 1 star to manager, that I ll explain later. So guys outside are nice, try their best and be of service. I am surprised someone is not happy, but maybe I was just lucky. 4. Than bartenders. Yes, they make good cocktails, but that is it. This young girls spend more time in their cellphones, talking to each other, or hunting handsome guys (do they have issues with documents or watched too much " Pretty woman"? ) and picking them up. They are slow in service, do not ask what you want, can't recommend a thing, they are not here to talk or listen (hey , us it a bar or what?) . Worst part is that these ladies also poor drinks to servers outside and print checks to them. And after 10 p.m. it is always one girl. I am sorry, but normally even 1 bartender can keep up with that . They are arrogant and definitely not happy with their work. And if they found someone in the bar for another hunt, forget about getting your orders. You will be the last one to be served, waiting for an hour or more. I would say, if Manager wants to improve the place, he needs to visit new hooka bar over the bridge and see how customers meant to be treated. Put control on your bartneders. Higher more people or change the girls. It is obvious their attitude comes from their belief their position is secured. All negative reviews because of them are well deserved. 5. Music. Guys, people come here to talk. Not to close their ears from definitely too loud music. 6. Manager. I was surprised to see real one during the day. At night a youngster pretends to be one. And it is obvious he is not. A random guy, who is treated like one. Maybe he is a son of the owner, but the looks of him explains most. So I am positive that negative reviews refer to him at least half of the time and not to real manager. 7. Still, it is the owners and managers responsibility to organize the place. If your employees make best of you, if you care about service, quality and your reviews don't wait. Start changes. Painful, but needed. The place is less than 50% loaded most of the time. That a shame. And you run the business. Not bartenders. Well, someone wrote place is strictly for locals I am local and I say "avoid the place at all ".

We just went to the place. We were 7. We asked to be seated in two different tables as they had a limit of 6 per table. They said no. I then asked to be seated on two different SEPARATE tables and they said no in a very rude way. Check your staff! We didn't need to be seated together.

This place has changed a lot and change is typically supposed to be good. However, this place is changed in the other direction. Previously they used to have three for one cocktails that no longer exist. Then they used to have two for one cocktails which no longer exist. so glad they survived the pandemic. However this was the last straw when I ordered two drinks today I got my bill it was $30. However the bill was not itemized. It just said $28 and change didn’t detail anything I ordered which is very suspicious, so sad to see this place declined so much when it used to be so fun.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! I was in there for 20 mins before they kicked me and my friend out. The bartender was extremely rude and would talk bad about my friend and I to other co workers. I wanted to talk to the manager but the workers were obviously able to talk to him before us. He kicked us out because we were apparently “talking bad about the workers” when all we asked was for a menu so we can order ONE drink and get food because we were hungry. The manager did not even bother to listen to us and kick us out. Never again. I wish I can give a review about the food or drinks but they did not even give us an opportunity when we were only nice. I am born and raised in Miami and HAVE NEVER experienced nothing like this. The place was completely empty and I should’ve figured that it was empty for a reason.

Miami Spice should be ashamed for recommending and partnering with this place. 😠😡👎 Second the food was simply terrible. 🤢🤮👎 Bread for the table that was hard as a rock with no butter or olive oil. The chicken tasted dry, flavorless and overcooked. Came with potatoes and random pieces of corn. The fettuccine alfredo with beef tenderloin tasted worst then hamber helper. The noodles were hard and the beef was tough to chew. The food was so bad we didn't even get the dessert that came with the Miami Spice menu. Third the service was also bad, the food didn't come out at the same time, had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the fettuccine alfredo, I should have use that time to cancel my order. 😠😡👎 I feel bad for the wait staff, you can tell they know the food is going to be bad, they seem lifeless and over it. Forth they attempted to over charge us for the Miami Spice menu then got annoyed when I called them out for it. 😠😡👎 They also charge hidden fees, $45 for dinner per person, plus 2x drinks at $11 each, the total should have been $112 plus tax but it came out to $142, that's 27% extra in taxes and fees.

Came here for years. Quality dropped in all aspects. Servers don't know the contents of the food orders. Have to know the order yourself to double check. Not able to call-in a takeout order on the phone. Has to be in person and then wait. This place even charges a convenience fee. Manager said it was for paying with a credit card. Used to be a great place. Unfortunately, unlikely to return.

0 stars. Service was horrible. We left when ordering 2 of the special and only got 1 set of 6 oysters for me and my girl. I waited a substantial amount of time and they couldnt get more oysters to the table. The 1 set of 6 were the smallest oysters I have ever had. Very annoying experience. On top of that since it was so bad I decided to close out and they charged us. I would have put 0 stars if I could.

We wanted to check this place out for a long time and decided to do Miami slice. Service was terrible, food was awful, the bread was hard and no salt. I don't even know how did they mess up the dessert. To make matter worse, we got food poisoning. People were smoking inside too.

It's a no, to the waitress- short combative energy , forgetful . When I place ny specialty Portersteak order I repeatedly stated dressing for salad on side. I also mentioned I prefer my steak medium. More medium then medium rare.. steak was very charred to the point where tasted burnt, was crunchy. Closer to the middle It was medium rare. Oh the rockerfellar oyster, also lost its integrity way to overloaded . For me it tasted like frozen spinach and a load of fillers maybe cream cheese or mayo . Idk.. Waitress one word unforgettable. Me and my colleague will always remember this server for the lack of everything . This place its a no.. come for music and drinks. They don't take discover . .

The service at this restaurant was horrible. We went on Sunday for the unlimited oysters special, and it was a complete disappointment. The place was packed, but there was only one worker trying to handle everything, which made the experience very frustrating. The oysters were extremely small and it took forever for each round to come out. We asked for bread, but they didn’t bring us butter—though we noticed the table next to us was given some. It was very inconsistent and poorly managed. The unlimited oysters deal was clearly something they couldn’t keep up with. After waiting a long time, we only received six tiny oysters that barely had anything in them. At that point, we decided to leave, but they still charged us. Overall, very disappointing experience. Definitely not worth it.

Just returned from a extended stay in sunny island and porterhouse was the worst meal I had my entire trip. We ordered the chicken and the salmon and not only did it take forever to come out, it was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. I can cook better chicken and salmon at home. It was literally just plain grilled chicken and salmon with no flavor and no sides or sauce. Also the price when we paid was more expensive then what was listed on the menu. Avoid this place it’s gross
