Rutina Coffee Miami Reviews
I absolutely adore this spot. I’ve walked past it for months thinking it was just another basic coffee shop. Decided to try it one day and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is fantastic and you can tell everything from their coffee, to their pastries, to the atmosphere is curated with care and attention. They have a great range of coffee and unique options. I never heard of a Chemex and upon my first visit the staff educated me on the different ways to filter coffee and recommended I try it (instead of a basic espresso). It is now my favorite! I am so glad they told me and gave me a nudge to try something new. The atmosphere gives subtle 70s, retro vibe with good music and a local crowd. Definitely work a visit if you’re in the area!
Rutina Cafe. For me, enjoying good coffee is a ritual, and discovering great places in Miami that serve amazing coffee is my thing. I will always let you know where to go. This coffee from Honduras has an amazing taste. I decided to go with the taste of the espresso, which gives you two different grains, and you can really smell and taste the difference. The place is beautifully vintage, and the service is amazing. You should stop here for the best coffee.
Rutina Coffee is a gem. The coffee is excellent, with beans sourced from a family farm in Honduras. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship in every drink. The bakery is fantastic, and my daughter especially loves their croissants. It’s very family-friendly, with coloring sheets and a play coffee set that kept her happily occupied. Their matcha lattes and specialty drinks are consistently delicious. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that gets all the details right and keeps you coming back—whether you’re there for great coffee, baked goods, or a relaxed family stop.
Rutina Coffee is an absolute gem in Miami. Everything here feels thoughtful and welcoming from the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like family. They’re incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely care about their customers. The raspberry refresher is so fresh and delicious, and the bakery items are always on point. You can really feel the love and quality they put into everything they do. Highly recommend stopping by, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to.
Rutina Coffee was amazing! I came upon it by chance and was impressed by their variety of food, coffee and tea options. The lavender latte I got was delicious and not too sweet. The staff was very friendly and the interior was cozy and a great place to read or meet a friend. Also very dog friendly! Highly recommend coming here.
Great local coffee shop with amazing staff! The atmosphere was amazing, the vibe was calming and friendly! Sulmi was so sweet from the moment we arrived and made suggestions of local areas to visit! I will most definitely come back every time we visit Miami!
I met the owner of this unique coffee shop and was super pleased with his passion for customer service and passion for specialty coffee. I tried their Obata espresso, and it was beautifully balanced — fruity yet grounding. Notes of honey, hints of nut, sweet vanilla, and chocolate, all lifted by a gentle citric mandarin brightness. The shop’s vibe matches the quality in the cup — warm, welcoming, and steeped in authenticity. If you want coffee served with both craft and heart, this is where you go in Miami.
I recently visited the latest addition to my neighborhood, Rutina Cafe, and it's a gem! What makes them stand out is that they're coffee producers and roasters straight from Honduras, bringing an impressive range of unique coffee aromas and flavors. Besides their excellent coffee, they also have a tempting selection of croissants and savory pastries. I went for a ham and cheese croissant that was incredibly fresh and tasty, and I absolutely had to try their almond croissant, which was equally delightful
A newly opened coffee shop — and what a gem! The coffee is incredibly delicious, the staff is warm and welcoming, and there’s a wide variety of fresh, tasty pastries. The interior is especially charming, filled with refined little details that create a cozy and elegant atmosphere. A place I’ll definitely be coming back to.
Rutina Coffee Shop in Edgewater, Miami: A Perfect 10/10 for Coffee Lovers Rutina Coffee is a true hidden gem! Their coffee is simply exquisite, featuring a mild, medium roast made from Honduran beans that’s smooth and delicious. The ambiance adds to the charm, with vinyl records spinning on Fridays and a cozy, beautifully designed interior that makes you want to stay awhile. Their Argentinian empanadas are a must-try, especially since they come with a delectable Peruvian cream-based hot sauce that perfectly complements the flavors. This is a place where every visit feels special, and you’ll find yourself wanting to come back every day for a delicious breakfast and a perfect coffee experience.
The moment you’ll walk in here you’ll feel how much effort and time was poured into the place design, colors, aesthetic everything’s so cozy and perfect. Coffee is absolutely amazing, u can taste the Quality. Choice of music makes everything even better.
What a nice coffee shop! The staff is amazing, the coffee is absolutely fantastic and unique! The cardamom brew is something I’ve never tried before and their lavender latte was outstanding! Pastry is very fresh too! So happy about this gem !!
I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Rutina Coffee, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a cozy atmosphere that instantly made me feel welcome. The Pastries was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love and care. I tried the “Pistachio Croissanta” and “Cappuccino” a hint of vanilla, and it exceeded all expectations. Everything was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. What really set this place apart, though, was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about what they do. They took the time to explain the menu and made sure everything was just right. All I gotta say is that thank you this was an incredible experience I’ll definitely be back!🙏🏼🥰
Best coffee shop in Edgewater!! They get their beans straight from the family farm back in Honduras, and you can taste the love. Noticeably higher quality than any other shop in the area. I love a cortado made with their Catuai beans! The custom Marzocco produces excellent espresso-based anything. On the food side, their empanadas are delicious, especially the hand cut beef and the bacon+egg+cheese. Also love the chocolate chip banana bread (heated and sliced, of course). Excited to see what they do with the DJ booth. Major vibe upgrade and rare to see a set of vinyl decks these days. They even sell vinyl records, which is a nice touch. Wi-fi is fast and the overall noise level is appropriate for getting work done. The team’s attention to detail is second to none and I am super impressed by the overall aesthetic of the spot! Definitely come check it out.
It's not just a cafe, it's finally a place for coffee lovers! And it's right in the heart of Edgewater. Really high-quality beans and high-quality coffee-making equipment, but they have one thing that is always missing in Miami cafés, and that's a small team with an incredible passion for preparing the best-tasting cup of coffee in the city. Sit, relax, sip and enjoy the moment.
Best coffee ever and especially love the coco love coconut water here !!! Def a must try also, Gonzalo and Emilio are the best
So happy this little place finally opened! It’s a gem. Very welcoming with family vibes, delicious pastries, and - of course - yummy coffee. The whole coffee process is in-house with beans from the family farm and the roasters actually making the coffee in the shop. Stoked to have this spot in the neighborhood now!
Super cozy spot with delicious pastries and great specialty coffee. The vibe is really nice - makes you want to stay a bit longer. My new favorite coffee spot in the neighborhood!
If you like a good coffe . This is the palce . The best en the edge water area
Everything at Rutina is amazing. The most impressive thing here is the espresso machine!

¡Altamente recomendado! ☕🥟

Was doing some business in the area spotted Rutina coffee I thought I'd check it out. I had no idea it was part of Finka coffee and upper Vista. Anyways they have great curated music and have DJ events atmosphere's greats quiet music is just right we can have a conversation true coffee House feel and the service by Malena was great and intent of you didn't know she had other customers as you know it's hard to find good customer service in Miami
We aren't from Miami. We were wandering around and found this gem! The food was delicious, we had the beef and cheese empanadas and chicken empanadas. Both were delicious! (Chicken was my favorite!) Then we tried all their croissants! Omg! Delicious. My husband had matcha latte and dirty chai and was obsessed with both. The atmosphere was perfect. But the best part was the excellent service and nicest people that helped us! It's specialty coffee and the perfect coffee shop!!
This place is a neighborhood gem for Edgewater, Wynwood, Downtown, Omni, areas. Their coffee is a real premium product, because these folks are religious about their coffee. Their trade goes beyond passionate. They have direct dealings with the growers and growing regions, the bean choices and harvest, the roast... EVERYTHING. The ambiance is laid-back. The staff is young and dedicated, courteous and knowledgeable. A really great place!
Best flat white I had in Miami and I think I know what I’m talking about as a passionate flat white nerd 😉😌 Also the owners are so nice and humble - worth every minute, go there, you will see :)
Living in the neighborhood, we were really happy to have this place open up. And it is not disappointing! Staff is warm and friendly, coffee and food offerings are delicious. For our first visit, got a nitro cold brew and a pain con chocolate, and a nitro cold brew. Both excellent. Wife’s cortado was also really good. Will be back for sure … welcome to the neighborhood!!
I had coffee today and worked there. I love the energy and the food choices. The staff are very friendly, also free WiFi. I like to support small businesses and this is where we should go instead of Starbucks
Beautiful space, great energy, and top-tier coffee ☕️ Everything from the presentation to the taste is on point. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots — perfect for mornings or afternoon breaks.
Crazy good quality specialty coffee at a good price. Amazing atmosphere and music, perfect for sitting with your computer. Great coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, and also records!!
Lovely coffee no complaints Nice staff. Unique decorated spot. Cozy but small with limited inside seating
Tried the iced mocha, delicious! The place is cool, inviting and cozy. And the staff is very friendly.
This amazing coffee shop just opened today and it’s already a standout!! The coffee is wonderfully smooth and full of flavor, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the pastries and empanadas are fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. The interior is beautifully put together, with elegant little details that create such a cozy, inviting vibe. So happy to be one of the first visitors, I’ll definitely be coming back!
Minimalist with solid coffee service. Barista was helpful and even explained the diff between a cortado and a flat white!
We absolutely loved our experience at Rutina Coffee! Our cortados were excellent, the decor is gorgeous and the owner was super friendly. This is really farm to table coffe because the owners have their own coffee farm in Honduras, which they roast and serve here, they have something truly unique going on, loved it!
Very nice little coffee shop! The cappuccino was very good, the prices reasonable and selection decent.
Freshest coffee to be imported into Miami and some of the cleanest on the East Coast of the United States. Literally drive miles and hours just to have their coffee daily. Slowly expanding with an organic culture. Top tier machines, great customer service, farmed coffee straight to the roastery, and straight into your cup.
Love this new coffee shop in Edgewater. It has a great list of coffee and other drinks. The traditional empanadas are amazing. I come to work and the wifi is great.
The coffee was delicious, the pastries were to die for and the service was incredible!
Any day I start with Rutina is a good day for me! The coffee is EXCELLENT and the service makes it even better. If you like good coffee, you’ll know why this hits the SPOT!
Great service, amazing food and outstanding coffee. Highly recommended for those who appreciate exceptional coffee.
Beautiful location, excellent service, and truly outstanding pour-over coffee.
I’m a frequent customer at Rutina Café and it’s one of my favorite places to grab coffee. The coffee is always excellent—smooth, flavorful, and consistently well made. The atmosphere is great and the service is always friendly. It’s the perfect spot to relax, work, or meet friends while enjoying a really good cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

Café muy rico. Cosechado en Honduras y tostado por ellos mismos. Las tres muchachas fueron muy amables y simpáticas. El ambiente retro y bonito. Recomendado para tomar un buen café.

The more coffeeshops in the neighborhood, the better. That helps keep variety, price and quality on check. Consumers always win when there is competition. I was at Rutina Cafe the day after they opened and I was happy to see the high traffic they had. That’s a good sign. I had a flat white and a guava and cheese danish. The flat white was pretty good, taste and looks, both were great. However, I gotta say it was not hot enough, by the time you are half way into the coffee, it’s barely warm. That’s what I would have improved. Other than that, it was balanced with the perfect strength and acidity. The guava and cheese danish was screaming Miami, so good. My main problem with Rutina is the pricing. I strongly believe $7.50 for a flat white is way too expensive. With 3 other coffeeshops within blocks and one to open across the street pretty soon, this pricing won’t go that far. That’s my opinion. I will certainly return for more guava and cheese danish. Yum!!
Good coffee, but $11.17 🧐 I’ve never paid that much for a coffee. Miami is really next level!
SO good! The coffee and empanadas were delicious. Pricing was slightly higher than in the neighborhood which is the only reason not 5 stars.
Good shop, but the interior design and coffee quality is not good enough to charge $8 for a milk drink.
i like mostly everything i’ve had here, and i love the atmosphere, but it is just about the most expensive coffee shop in the city, so i have deducted stars accordingly. overall this is not a bad place to come for coffee, especially if you are just visiting, but it is too expensive what i didn’t like: cardamom cold brew. very weak/dilute, not even the faintest hint of cardamom what i liked: breakfast empanadas are delicious, they make a great iced americano, their nitro cold brew is on point when the machine is working properly, their iced dirty chai is excellent what i hated: the prices are insane. for example, my SMALL cardamom cold brew was $8 before tax/tip. the breakfast empanadas (forgot to take a pic) are about the size of your index and middle finger together. the price? $4.95 each. now let’s get to the iced dirty chai (with oat milk). of course this is a specialty drink - at pura vida, a place most consider expensive, i pay $10. the price at rutina for a small? $13.77! 😭 i mean come on lol it’s just ridiculous, i don’t want to walk to the most expensive coffee shop every day, i want to walk to my neighborhood spot that i don’t feel is gouging me. like i said, i think most stuff here is good, but the experience isn’t so much better than anywhere else as to justify these prices. there are many great coffee shops in miami, and at these prices, i’m happy to try the others.
I had a flat white with a danish there. Their coffee is good but way overpriced. They charge $7.50 for a regular latte/cappuccino/flat white without any additions. Not sure what the reason behind that is. They need to lower their prices or go out of business soon after Maman opens on the other side of the street.
Place looks really cute, but $8 for a latte? That’s a lot, especially when you can go next door to The Daily and get same thing for half the price.
Ordered a chai tea with a shot of espresso and the total came to $13. So before you go know that 1 shot in a chai is $3.40 and the chai already is $10. A chai tea, where the concentrate is only $12 online. The value of their chai isn’t worth that.
Unfortunately, I got coffee with milk instead of flat white. No foam, just hot milk and coffee. Price is overpriced . No trash bin around their place, so you can't throw away the empty cup. No napkins.
Charing $8.56 for a regular cappuccino is just ridiculous. They have airport prices.
The prices here are ridiculous, almost $9 for a cup of coffee? Seriously? And for what? The place doesn’t even look great, just an average spot with luxury level prices. Honestly, I don’t see how they’ll stay open much longer. There’s a better café right next door with more reasonable prices, and I heard another one is opening just across the street. Competition can’t come soon enough.
