First time visiting this location in Coral Gables and it was exactly as I expected it to be! Delicious! Awesome service! Great drinks! And the vibe was perfect! Absolutely enjoy the comfortable outdoor seating and with a perfect view to catch a sports game too. Ended up going with a sandwich this time around and wow Tap 42 can't miss. The server was right, you can't go wrong with any of the options here. I've been several times and it always has been a blast. I recently learned about a new rewards program the restaurant has too. So if you're a frequent flyer, make sure to enroll!

Fast and courteous service. The presentation of the dishes is impeccable, and the flavors are well-balanced, I loved my lemon dropper martini, and our server Jorge was the best and he’s really hot!🔥🔥

I went to Tap42 for the first time tonight with some friends and had a great experience. Our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I ordered the Fish and Chips which was perfectly cooked and delicious. The Tartar sauce they have has a bit of jalapeno pepper and is very good! All my friends had different dishes and all were thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend you visit, I know I'll be back!

Great service and food...a little warm inside since all the doors were open and we were seated away from the doors. Nice cold drinks. We ordered the guac and it was delicious. The chips were warm and fresh and there was cream corn on top that made the flavor come alive. We ordered a dessert that was big enough for everyone to share.

Took my friends/family to Tap 42 to celebrate my moms 60's birthday! It was so accommodating when making a reservation, being able to bring a cake and it get refrigerated, and just serving a large party! Our waiter was Nick and WOW. I would come back to the restaurant just so he can be our waiter again! He was SOOOOO accommodating, attentive, helpful and the list goes on and on! He knew us all by our names and we were a party of 12!!! He kept good tabs and names on our tabs. The food was delicious and our cups were never empty! We spoke to the manager Emma and she was amazing too. Such an amazing experience. If you go ask to be served by Nick!

This was my first time at Tap42. We went to celebrate the birthday of one of my family members and I was so surprised by how good the food actually was. We ordered chips and dip, which came with an incredibly fresh avocado dip. We also ordered the wings which were so good, they didn’t even need a particular sauce to accompany them. I ordered the chicken strips which were crispy and the fries were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend to anyone, hopefully coming to experience brunch one day.

I came here for an appetizer and a beer, enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip so much that, I brought my girlfriend here a day later. I took advantage of their dinner special, which basically gives you a four course meal; I got the fried calamari appetizer, the salmon rice bowl entree (the name escapes me), a mule cocktail, and a ice cream cookie for dessert. My girlfriend seconded my opinion of the spinach artichoke dip and had a chicken tender sandwich with a well made old fashioned. The service was great, and the food was delicious.

We also had the calamari which is always sooo good there. Will be coming again!

By far one of the best burgers I've ever had in my LIFE!! The brunch is great and it's a fun place to go with a group of friends!! Get the Drunken Goat burger - great balance of flavors and patty is always cooked exactly how you want it. Huge portions at reasonable prices. Service is friendly and there's usually no wait to be seated.

I celebrated my birthday at Tap on Sunday, and it was the best decision! The drinks were amazing, and the guacamole and churrasco were delicious. I recommend making a reservation, it’s more convenient when you have a large group like ours, we were 12 people. Great, fun place to have a few drinks, eat some delicious food. The staff are engaging and friendly. Stop by their Happy Hour, Monday - Friday from 4pm to 7pm. I recommend the Havana Lager, but they have a great selection to choose from. Same goes for the menu. Two of my favorites are the Crispy Chicken Tender Melt and the Truffle Filet Steak Sandwich. I recommend ordering one and having a friend order the other and then split them. The food in the pics are the Free Range Citrus Grilled Chicken and the Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles. The beers in the pics is Funky Buddha Floridian and Concrete Beach Havana Lager. You will not be disappointed with the beer, food or service.

They had a DJ, very nice ambience and super clean. The host; Monique, was super attentive same our server Max, he was great, overall all the staff super cool and fast, Perfect place for going with the family or with a group of friends. Must try: salmon tostones, best appetizer! Great music for a festive Friday night, the staff mood is contagious 🎶 Service was great, our server, Max, was absolutely fantastic and helpful. The staff is very friendly and attentive, food is delicious and they are quick to serve it and they have bottomless mimosas during the weekends from 11am until 3pm for $25. This is definitely one of the best places for brunch in Miami.

I was recently there last Friday, first time dinning in at Tap 42 and I had a wonderful experience. i had the chicken bowl that our server Erika recommended, it was delicious. she recommended to really try the garlic mojo that comes with the meal because it enhanced the flavors and it truly did! She was so sweet and also recommended the tres leches, its was amazing!! will definitely come back for more. the bartenders made amazing drinks as well!

I’m not from Coral Gables, but I stopped by Tap 42 during my visit and had an awesome experience. It was really busy when I went, I think there was a game on, but Ella, the bartender, was incredible. She stayed calm, was super friendly, and made great drinks like the margarita and gin & tonic even with the crowd. The sliders and Philly steak egg rolls were both fantastic, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service overall was excellent, and the atmosphere and location were hard to beat. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Coral Gables and highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

First time coming here Wednesday night with friends. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was not too packed since we went about one hour before closing time. Ordered the Crispy Asian Calamari Tower, Sweet Potato Fries, and Wagyu Steak Noodles. The Asian Calamari Tower was delicious. The Wagyu Steak Noodle was pretty good. The Sweet Potato Fries were tasty with the cinnamon dip. As picky as I am when it comes to ordering a michelada. I don’t know who the bartender was but a big shoutout to the bartender for making the mix for my micheladas. They were on point! 🔥 The server was nice but was gone majority of the time we were there. We ended up paying out with a different server. Overall the place is a nice vibe when not too packed.

Tap42 was one of the best places I have been for brunch so far. The food was cooked pretty much perfectly and was full of flavor. The atmosphere is nice and they had a DJ playing music. If you go for brunch make sure you get there early though as there was a line to get in.

Yummy! Great apps, and fresh, delicious lunches. Portions were too much!! Left so full with lots of food left. Their chicken tenders were breaded so perfectly, and don’t leave without trying the steak sandwich. Outside seating was nice and service was standard.

I really like this place! The Froze drink was so good. The calamari was hot, and cooked just right. We also have the barbecue ribs, sushi bowl among other things. The shrimp macaroni and cheese could use a little more seasoning and I would add cheddar cheese to it to give it a little more punch. Service was great. If I could change one thing it would be the size of the tables . We sat in a half circle booth and the table was not big enough to accommodate five people. Otherwise, the visit was enjoyable ,we had good food and we didn't have a crowd. They also have outside seating as well.

The service was excellent and the food was great too. The DJ was wayyyyyy too loud. The hostess couldn’t even hear us ask for a table. We had a great bench seat outside. We had the chicken wraps and the avocado salad. Both were good. The live do is there 11-3 and it was just too loud to give them 5 stars.

We went here for a Sunday brunch with extended family. The restaurant is very loud with music, which significantly impedes conversation. So the host suggested we sit outside at a table furthest away from the speakers. This was very helpful, but I felt sorry for our waitress who had to go significantly out of her way to serve us. The food was good, but not outstanding.

Food was good: party of 4, had the chicken avocado salad, steak sandwich and smash burger. The atmosphere was chill, relaxed, no pressure- inside and outdoor seating is available. On this occasion we made reservations to sit inside and unfortunately walked into A situation where the A/C was broken…. Very hot! Not pleasant. Happy I had a red sangria to stay cool. On the other hand our waiter, Jorge was very nice and accommodating- service was good. Gave it a 4 star but will go back and try other food selections- maybe even another location other than the coral gables - just to weigh out differences. Jorge really pushed it to the 4 star rating.

Returning to an old stomping ground is always a bit of a gamble. I used to work in the Gables and Tap 42 was a regular spot for me back when the service was as sharp as the drinks. Unfortunately, this Sunday brunch felt less like a happy reunion and more like we were invisible. We were seated when the restaurant was fairly empty, which you’d think would guarantee attentive service. Instead, we sat there for about ten minutes without a single greeting. I’m not a high-maintenance guy, but I generally prefer to order my food before I start contemplating retirement. I eventually had to get up and ask the hostess to send a search party to find us a waiter. It definitely feels like the service standards have gone downhill since my days as a regular here. To make matters worse, there was a stack of dirty plates at the bar that greeted us when we walked in and was still there when we left. I think they might be part of the lease agreement now. The frustrating part is that the food is still genuinely excellent. The kitchen is firing on all cylinders, but the front of the house seems to be operating on a delay. If you have infinite patience, the meal is worth it, but don't expect the snappy service this place used to be known for.

An interesting pub, severing food and music. The food was delicious and the bottomless Mimosa is a must. We ordered fried squid rings is by far the best in twon with its dipping sauce. Also if you love BBQ ribs with the sauce runny not hard and sticky then you'll have to order it. The only big negative down side is they put the music way to load, where even while talking load or screaming to your lungs give out at times you can barely hear what the other person is say to have a conversation. If your on a date this is not the place to take to get to know each other. However with a group of friends which each one don't really care for conversation then this is the one for you.

Went for happy hour. Calamari and frozen mango cocktail was very good but the slider I ordered never arrived after 30 minutes. The service from our bartender was mediocre. Portions are extremely small for the prices so not worth me coming back honestly.

If you're looking for a party-vibe brunch experience, I suggest trying the Kendall location. The Gables venue offers the same menu and level of service, but the energy seemed muted. The unlimited mimosa package is still available and I reccomend it as an economical decision for anyone planning to drink 3+ drinks. The food is good, not great. I'm a big fan + frequent order-er of the Truffle Steak Sandwhich. The steak is tender, soft, and deliciously seasoned which makes for a perfect bite every time. I love the truffle Mac n Cheese side options, but the truffle is the only flavor you taste. My husband's Chicken + Waffles was okay, but having recently gone to Copper Blue and having a much better version of it, he was disappointed. His Cajun fries were on point though. The best dish for me was the Calamari appetizer. Thick cut pieces in a taste light batter complimented by a perfectly balanced sweet Thai dipping sauce. The calamari comes on a bed of Asian slaw which also tastes wonderful with a bit of the sweet thai sauce.

Was in the area for training and stopped at Tap 42 for lunch. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls but unfortunately they were too greasy for me and really wasn’t able to fully enjoy them. The restaurant was nice and service was friendly.

I ordered that Waygu beef noodle bowl online. Sauce, pretty good! Not enough noodles. The "waygu" quality of the beef added nothing. Use pretty good, but cheaper beef! Add more noodles! Keep the sauce! This is my "expert advice". Tasty, but NOT worth $29 and that's because of the "highfalutin' beef" and when one orders a noodle bowl, they want a ton of NOODLES!!!! Don't change the sauce, though. Spicy, but not too spicy. Savory as well. Nice sauce.

We are a family who enjoys spending time together, especially on special occasions there were 10 of us. On Father’s Day and it is understandable that early on service lacks a bit because of how extremely full tap gets on Sundays. We are also locals and frequent Tap. Unfortunately two of us waited an hour and a half for our food, which we eventually cancelled. Twenty minutes before we left, which at that time the restaurants was already practically empty. Drinks took Forever!! Some of us didn’t eat , one of the orders was a simple chicken nuggets for a teenager. We did approach the Manager who didn’t bother going to the table to offer any help nor accommodation. He just went into the kitchen came out and sat in the back with what we assume was another manager and kept eating his Chinese food. We paid our 870.00 bill with a 20 percent tip included. I truly believe Tap failed our Father’s Day. Even though we made the best of it.

Food was ok, drinks were mediocre, the server was nice but nonexistent or distracted. We asked for medium steak came out well done and dry, we said normal mashed potatoes and got fully loaded. It was like this girl was on auto pilot but without a map. We didn’t receive silverware up until after we finished our appetizer, I had to get up and get napkins from the bathroom. Its a shame, the location is nice but we did not get the best service. I’ve gone to the Tap 42 in Midtown, Doral and Ft.lauderdale this one definitely fell flat when it came down to quality of service.

I am writing to formally complain about the way a recent allegation of child abuse against my husband was handled. The accusation was made without proper verification and caused significant emotional distress to our family. We are especially concerned that individuals who were not authorized were allowed to speak directly with our minor child. This was done without our consent and without appropriate safeguards in place. Additionally, the situation was not handled in a professional or secure manner. There appeared to be a lack of proper protocol, confidentiality, and due process throughout the matter. We respectfully request a formal review of how this situation was managed, clarification on the procedures followed, and steps to ensure this does not happen again. We take the well-being of our child very seriously and expect the same level of professionalism and care from your organization.

Beware of picking up uber to go orders here. The staff doesnt care. The food comes out cold after it taking 20+ more minutes than it is supposed to.. and it is always like this. They dont care about their to go orders in this place.

If you are thinking of going to Tap42/gables restaurant. Avoid it during a sporting event or special event…service is horrible, they don’t ring your food and they don’t equip with plenty of staff to accommodate the capacity. HORRIBLE SERVICE when its filled to capacity.

Very bad delay uber service I wait 20 minutes for a package and disrupt my other deliveries, very bad services and excessive waiting time. I just came back with another order and happened the same, even with this supposed reply from their manager that by the way I called his number allegedly in a card in the entrance and it didn’t answer because the phone was useless next to me

It was hot as hell when I went in there. Only remained due to meeting a friend. They claimed the ac wasn’t at full capacity but it wasn’t working enough at all to make it comfortable for customers. Just imagine how hot the kitchen is. The bar and other areas were dirty. There were cords hanging out where people were tripping and it was just slow and only 1 bartender. Long time to get check, to get drinks, and just overall it was so hot and miserable! Don’t recommend. Hope they close down! One of those places that makes you give a card before you pay which is fine but I wanted to pay cash and they kept my cash and still asked for a card despite I said I’d just pay for the drink itself. Bad management. Don’t go. Very deceptive. Employees were hanging around fans and hiding in the bathroom the only place where the ac was actually working a little bit. Also the management was very retaliatory for sticking up for their staff when they were really suffering. This reflects the poor values and poor working conditions. Boycott because of this and won’t return to go to other locations. Be warned.
