Stopped here for breakfast on our last day of vacation and we wished we had found it sooner! Their steak and eggs were amazing (steak cooked to perfection) and their huevos ranchos was yummy, great flavors. They also had 2 for 1 Mimosas.
A very nice restaurant at the north end of ocean Avenue. Just far enough removed to not be in the center of all the tourists. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Good music playing and great staff.
Excellent nachos. Drinks were great. A very pretty romantic outdoor seating area. Wait staff were courteous and friendly. Would definitely visit again.
Great place for drinks + not too expensive. They don't force you the 20% tip like most bars/restaurants in south beach do but asks for a suggested 18% tip which is nice for a change. Cheapest place for hookah I've seen here so far only 25$ and not 40$.
Great food. Decided to walk the streets and found this place. Sunday surf and turf deal was a deal. Mahi-mahi veracruz was delicious.
Great customer service. The food was wonderful.
Excellent service. Servers was on point and very friendly. Nice and welcoming with all of the lights and a nice view towards ocean drive.Lobster , rice , drinks , pasta is good also.
Great food at comparative prices, nice location at the end of the ocean drive, if you get to sit at the sofa, which faces road side, thats amazing.. if its crowded service is slower sometime
Stopped by for a quick drink and food. Very fast service. Food was good and special $2 chicken tacos were good. Beer was cold. Good time.
Thursday night special: Seafood Paella (1-person size) $10! Shrimp, mussels, squid, fish and chicken; rice very tasty 👍👍👍👍 Mexican salad with avocado and grilled chicken breast - very juicy and tender chicken; tostada bowl very fresh and crispy👍👍👍👍👍👍
My go to spot on the beach! Large open patio. Coffee and cigars with a nice view. Great prices on beer and drinks. Calamari is delicious! Will visit this weekend when I get into town.
Our favorite place at ocean drive. Love it's location. Food is good and reasonable price. Decent service. But few seats are torn and needs to be changed I believe. Chicken quesadilla is our favorite.
Amazing Mexican food. We've been here twice and are from out of state and the bartender remembered is from 4 months earlier. We made it a point to stop here to eat while in January for just the night before catching our cruise
We ate here everyday while on vacation in Miami Beach. I am a very picky eater and everything I ordered at Tequila Chica's exceeded my expectations. It was a delight to have our meals and drinks on the patio of this great location at Collins and Ocean Drive. Prices are very reasonable too.
A gem of a departure from the standard strip kitsch, Tequilla Chicas offers a Miami flavor of your hip neighborhood hotspot, with a cool, chill vibe, and enough to make my wife and I want to visit again on the same trip. Great food at not-resort prices. We stopped in on a whim and enjoyed two of the best hours we've had in town. If you appreciate ambiance, good service, and comfortable places to be, you should dig this place.
Staff was courteous and even recommended some nightclubs that were open on Sunday's. FOOD - I'm SUPER picky when it comes to fish tacos, I have only tried one other place that has met my expectations and these fish are DOPE. I haven't tried anything else here but if you like fish tacos, come here.
This was one of our favourite spots to eat on our girls trip. THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. Please try the shrimp scampi, the paella, the Chica Ritas and my favourite... the lobster Ravioli. My compliments to the chef ❤🙌🏼
Awesome time on the patio enjoying a hookah. Music is good, decent volume, staff is nice, great lounge experience. Cocktails were good as well, didn't try any food
This was the first and last place we ate at when me and my boyfriend went to Miami. Amazing atmosphere, Great food, Best Bloody Mary ever!!! We will definitely be back next time we make it to Miami.
A great end view of Ocean front drive and my lobster ravioli was decent. Cool fish tank in the bar and great server. All around experience was great.
This restaurant is on the end of ocean drive. It’s huge and has nice patio and inside seating. You can choose from a couch to a table to chairs. We went during happy hour which drinks are half off and they have plenty of food choices. I recommend the quesadilla or wings. Both are great and tend to come out quicker. The alcohol was watered down however but still tasted wonderful.
My go to whenever I am in South Beach, meals are priced right and restaurant is at the tip of Ocean Dr, but yet still quiet and a nice ambiance. They have Seating outdoor, indoor, as well as shaded areas outside. Something for everyone, menu feature primarily Mexican and/or Italian meals. Go check it out
After walking around for awhile, we came across Tequila Chicas. We loved the outdoor seating area and the atmosphere was relaxing, yet still lively. They had good upbeat music and even better drinks! They had a two for one deal on drinks which was a huge plus! We ordered a few appetizers and they were pretty tasty! We sat here for hours just talking and joking! We really enjoyed it! By the way, YOUR mango mojitos are amazing! Want to give me the recipe? (:
Great experience! Awsome little lady who served us, she did a great job. The drinks are well priced and made right by a good bartender. The spot is hot in a verry good way with a large outdoor area and the food was delicious and we'll priced for what you get! Will be coming back to this place again!!
Not sure why the reviews are bad... we came here on a rainy day while at the beach and the service and food were awesome, we only had wings and tacos and a couple of drinks... These are pretty traditional items that you can't screw up, and they didn't... the food was really good. I also liked the sour cream. It was really tasty. I think they added cilantro or some other type of herb to it.. Either way I enjoyed it.. Definitely worth my time in Miami.
The monster margaritas at this place were amazing! It has a wonderful patio seating area and big TVs even outside for all the sports fans. I can't remember our servers name but he was fantastic! If we're ever in Miami again, we will definitely go back!
A great place, relaxed, informal atmosphere. We arrived towards the end of happy hour and enjoyed a couple of cocktails, the cocktails after happy hour tasted better but that could just have been that I'd already had a couple. The waiter was friendly and helpful. I had the Mexican salad which is on the tapas menu but it large and a meal in itself, very tasty and fresh flavours. A really good crunchy taco bowl with a nice big dollop of guacamole to top ot off. The boys had burgers which are cooked to order and also looked delicious.
We only had drinks. Bar tender was great and the tequila selection is good
Waawww, this paella Rocks!. The cocktails are also awesome. Our bartender thumbs up.
The food was incredible , love the combination of mexican and italian food 💖. The attention i will give it a 3, one of the day i've been there my waitress forgot everything we asked for. The atmosphere is comfortable and the music is really good !!!!
had our breakfast there and the huevos rancheros was delicious. better than when i had it in a Mexican resort or at a restaurant on Española Way. had the sunny side eggs too but that was bland. price was cheap and setting was gorgeous. ocean drive's dead end leads up to this trendy miami outdoor eatery.
The best surf and turf I've ever had. But make sure you show this picture if ordering - this was a special offer with amazing sauce.
The salsa was great if you love fresh salsa, Loved it. My family was there visiting from Wisconsin and we all really enjoyed the environment and our dinner.
Great outdoor patio with dim lighting and great lounge music. Perfect for some hookah relaxation. Didn't try the food, will definitely return for hookah. Wasn't crowded, took 30 mins to get our check, slow and inconsistent service.
We stopped in for Taco Tuesday happy hour ordering beef tacos ($2.00 each), 5 wings ($5.00) and 20 oz Stellas ($4.00 each). The food was hot, the beer was cold and the price was right (especially the beer). Nice patio, not too busy, a good way to relax after spending the afternoon walking around the Lincoln Mall.
Great prices. I didn't expect it to be that good because the menu is huge. Shrimp was wild white and great but doesn't tell you in menu. Salsa, homemade. Great burgers
Great spot for a quick breakfast. Food was delicious, service was fast, and prices were reasonable. Service was average overall but they had a two for one mimosa special and sitting outside made for a great start to our last day in Miami.
I came here for breakfast with my sisters. I got buttermilk pancakes and a mimosa, both of which were very good. My drink got knocked over by the wind and they replaced it for free right away. Great service, good food. The prices were good too. I drove by at night later on and the restaurant looks quite cool at night with all the colourful lights everywhere. Recommend giving this place a visit!
Ordered the tacos and they were amazing, got hungry and went back after an hour and ordered a Greek salad and it was the best salad ever!! The first time I sat at the bar and the bar tender wasn’t very attentive, she was talking to a friend for a while before serving us. But when I came back to get my salad the waiter I got was amazing, he was funny, charming etc... he was such a great guy! The location is really cool, nice vibes. Overall it was pretty great!
Food was very good. We had shrimps, fish tacos and seafood platter. No complaints with food at all. They have really nice drinks too. Don't get the hookah/sheesha if you like it. This place is not good for hookas. 1 star missing is for the service. You had to wait a lot of time to tell something to your waiter as you won't be able to find them(or i guess staff was short that day). Staff was polite though.
Personal atento
Happy hour makes me happy! But too smoky around. Not good place with kids. I had a non-stop smoker beside me. Horrible!
Good drinks and food but service wasn’t up to par. Food made up for the lack there of service.
My fiance and I stopped here on our last day in Miami. The food was very delicious. This was my first time ever having lobster ravioli..... Best decision made My fianace also enjoyed his chicken Alfredo, but watch out for that bill. Ours was ridiculously high when we got it.But it is Miami beach.
Food was a mixed bag. Seafood paella was great, French toast was ok, quesadillas were terrible. Service was so-so...I had to ask for my drink 3 times and it was just OK. The server did try and compensate with a 2 for 1 drink card.
Calamari tomato sauce was amazing but the calamari itself was missing some flavors. I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it was missing some salt but the sauce itself was very creamy and delicious. My parents had the fruto de Marie and there was a lot of meat not enough spaghetti they said. My sister had the burrito and didn't really have a great sense of flavor. My brother had lasagna and he rated it a three out of five, he did eat it all because he was very hungry. Overall it's a very popular place and the atmosphere is amazing with lights and everything around you very lively with hit songs. Very pricey
Great location. Not bad, not great, just mediocre food. Staff was very nice to us. We had appetizers, drinks, tacos, and quesadillas. Good spot to people watch at the edge of Lummus Park. Lots of drunk people embarrassing themselves!
My husband and I ate at Tequila Chicas during happy hour and the drinks were great. The food was nothing special but our hunger was satisfied when we left. My biggest complaint was that our waitress didn't care one way or the other whether we were happy or not. We didn't receive water until I'd asked when our meal was almost done. The automatic gratuity definitely works in the favor of subpar or lazy waiters/waitresses. We ended up giving our waitress an extra $5 over the automatic gratuity and wrote a note with a 🙂 that she should smile more. My husband and I are big tippers when we're taken care of, so her $7.47 automatic tip went to $12.47 with our extra $5 that she didn't earn. It could've been much more if she'd given a damn.
Food was average, had to ask for water several times, server was hard to track down and got most of our order wrong is some way or another. Atmosphere was good. Drink selection was good.
If you like loud music, sweet drinks and so so food, this is the place for you! The service was attentive but after a happy hour drink and apps, we wished we had gone somewhere else.
Very dirty place. Food is average. Toilets are very dirty and whole place seems so old and falling apart. My water glass was with molds inside and when I asked to change it, a server said it was scratch on the glass untill I show her that it can be removed by straw.
This would have had one start if it wasn't for good people watching. Ordered drinks (Corona and Frozen Pineapple Margarita) then waited, and waited ... And waited.... Finally the drinks arrived - can't screw up a Corona, fine. The "frozen fruit" pineapple margarita was neither frozen, not pineapple. Not even slightly pineapple - 100% canned, extra sweetened coconut puree, for $13! Afraid of how long it would take to catch the waitress, and then wait for the corrected drink, I went straight to the bar. Me: Uh, I ordered a pineapple drink, this is coconut, can you fix it? Bar: This is the mix we have for "pineapple" flavor. Me: But, it's coconut, right? Bar: I know, that's all we have. Me: Is there pineapple in it? Bar: Yes. Me: Can I have a tequila with pineapple juice instead? Bar replaces the drink... Needless the say, the tip was much less than 20%...
Tacos were tasteless and guacamole nothing special. You get better and cheaper Mexican food at Chipotle. Only positive was it's quieter and more relaxed than most of the places near South Beach.
The food is mediocre. Service is not good at all. Drink are better in worst places. No refils on fountain drinks and to top it of it's pricey for no apparent reason. My over all experience in a couple of word for this place is "IT SUCKS". Will never come here again!!!
Staff very unattentive. Only person at the bar wasn't asked if I needed a refill or if I wanted food. Also watched a bartender or barback drink from a cup then stick it in the ice bin. Fill it up with a soda gun drink it all again and stick it back in ice bin. It's cheap and clean that's probably the only good thing about this place so i gave it two stars.
Atmosphere is fine. Music is nice. Staff is pleasant. Ordered a martini advertised on the menu as "14oz". The server spilled part of mine while setting it down, as well as part of my husband's in a standard glass. No offer to top off our $13 spilled drinks. Googled martini glass size and find that at best it was 12oz prior to spillage. Asked server about the size and he suggested I should have bought the $25 bigger size instead...
I flagged a server down 15 minutes after being seated. Once we ordered the drinks the server came 10 minutes later. To me that is terrible considered we were seated 15 steps from the bar. Then the food arrived and the server disappeared. It was 5 tables occupied in the outside seating area. After flagging down another server the person assigned to my table reappeared. I would not recommend dining here but if you go Definitely pay with cash!
Average food at high price. Visited with my wife, sat in the bar as we couldn’t find a waitress with any interest outside. Relied on the waitress behind the bar to serve us. Food average, long wait, glad they were not busy. For some reason till price was higher than the menu listed price, we were told that it was a new menu with lower prices and the till had not been updated (!). Ape ears tired. Cannot understand why the staff expect a mandatory 18% tip for serving over a bar. If staff had to “earn”tips and not “as of right” could increase customer service ?
Good happy hour drink selection. (Mixed drinks $7 and half price well, beer, and wine) Nice outdoor seating. Good service. BUT... We ordered nachos, wings, Mexican salad, and a burger and all the food was TERRIBLE. The bar area/indoors were gross! If you're looking for a place to get some drinks on the way to dinner, not a bad stop... but I would not recommend ordering any food!
Me and my wife went to tequila chicas twice. First for brunch, it was great, the food and costumer service as well, but second time we decided to sit at the bar, the bartender treated us poorly. Was very lazy, and like she had something better to do. Though the food was good, we likely won't be coming back!.
Food good for price. No complaints. Waitstaff very nice. BUT women’s restroom was disgusting. One toilet clogged with feces, other toilet seat splattered with it. Floor hadn’t been mopped in years. I don’t think bathroom itself cleaned in years. Turned me off completely. Made me wonder about kitchen cleanliness.
Waitress we had was terrible. I dont even know her name either. Waited for drinks for about 10 minutes! Finally received the drinks, food came. Ordered tacos, for Mexican place you would think they would give u a huge bowl of salsa to go with chips, all I got was a tiny plastic solo ketchup cup. My mojito didn't even taste like a mojito. Terrible service !!!!
Water dripping from the ceiling. An ambience consisting of crude YouTube music videos projected onto a screen near the tables. What appears to be tinfoil cooked into the food. And you charge $16 for your pasta? Our waiter was pretty friendly, but this really doesn't offset everything else.
Horrible everything! Good location but horrible service 30 mins to get drinks, 45 mins more for the food. Then charged me 6.95 for chips that I requested prior to eating the entree. Just horrific and the bill was $122. Won't be eating here ever again.
Food is okay. But the service is horrible. The waiter serving us (the one with a ponytail) literally threw my sunglasses to put food on the table. When asked for extra ranch, he just threw it on the table without even looking back. It is just horrible service.
Had 5 different drinks ! Mojito awefull dont try, Pinacolada omg no alcohol inside tasted like icecream blended, margarita like plain water, wodka redbull tasted just redbull ! And there was something else we had with my squad! Bad bar ! Bartender should go to school and learn how to make drinks !!! SHISHA was so small and mint flavor was horrible ! DO NOT GO THERE ! I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE!!! WASTE OF 120$ !!!
By far the WORST service I’ve ever had i usually leave a good tip but the only tip i left was a note that said do better. The waitress didn’t even bother to ask any questions she attended to customers who only spoke Spanish more than she did me no smile no pleasant feeling i felt like i wasn’t wanted at the resturaunt.
Really nice place!!! Buuuut bad service really realllyyyyyy slow!!! The waitress never checked on us!! Don't go to this place, go to Maxine's Bristo & bar!! Excellent service and the food was delicious Ask for Sam he's really kind and helpful! 👍🏻
I ordered a non alcoholic drink then after 20 min of waiting the come with the drinks that contained taquilla in it ( keep in mind in 13 not 21) then after constant waiting the come and serve us the food that was below average. I think that you should invest your money and time into another restaurant
Wow.....Miami beach is NOT what it used to be. TC's used to be a high class, high quality tequila bar - now its full if cheap beer, cheap tequila, and it is absolutely FILTHY. It gets the award for 'Most disgusting floor' in MIA. Apparently a patron decided to relieve themself right at the bar instead of using the facilities. Yes - seriously.
extremely slow service and there were maybe 3 other tables. it was 1 in the afternoon. server had trouble understanding us and splitting our checks. drinks were watered down and no alcohol whatsoever not worth it!!!! do not waste your time here
Shittest Bar in south beach. They treated us like dirt cuz we wlare black. Then tried to charge us 18% "voluntary" gratuity that we did not volunteer. Worst bartender ever and the managerbtold us he was calling the cops cuz I was yelling aboutbthe terrible service
Came to Tequila Chica's with a friend last night. I was extremely disappointed. I was expecting quality food and a great service. The server was the main issue. He's tone was rude. He kept on putting his elbows on the table. Did not introduce himself. He kept rolling his eyes the whole time. Not authentic Pricey for what you get Bad service
So bad, considering it's in a great location. 6 of us went here for dinner after working nearby. The service was terrible to the point of funny. We ordered 5 appetizers that were supposed to be 1/2 price, which we were told also meant 1/2 size. so no deal. 1 appetizer arrived and the others showed up 20 minutes later. Entrees were the same, with 4 showing up, and the other 2 after we had all finished. To add insult, a 20% tip was automatically added for a party of 6. For my entree I had a chicken burrito, and never found any chicken, just re-fried beans in a tortila and no sides. I am amazed this place is still open, it can only be because of tourists that havent been there before.
A younger gentleman greeted us and confirmed the happy hour special offering 1/2 off all drinks no limit . Before we could order another guy came to our table yelling that the drinks are bogo but we would only be able to purchase 1 drink. He was very rude! We just left.
The service here was terrible-- we were seated right in front of the cigars that people kept looking past us to buy, when there were plenty of other seats available; the waitress never checked on us and I had to go up to the bar myself to get more water (when it's 95 degrees out!). The quesadillas were a disappointment, although the wings were very good.
Horrible. Overpriced drinks, lackluster food, dirty tables, and a cranky bartender who looks homeless and sounds like she smokes a carton a day. The whole place could use a bath. Do yourself a favor and keep walking up the strip, with plenty of classier and delicious options, you’ll have a much better experience.
Food is as ok. Service was horrible. Hardly no customers and waitress disappeared for more than 1/2 hr at 9 PM. I tip for good service and this waitress did not deserve what she received. Not an option as gratuity was included. No wonder the service was horrible since they have no incentive to give good service. An evening I wished I could do over!
Horrible service and rude employees who argue with you about their incorrect orders to your table. We asked to speak with a Manager multiple times before he FINALLY showed up and was equally unprofessional and would not foot the bill even after all the hassle. 1 star because the food was decent at best if you were starving. I've worked in a restaurant so I understand the troubles but this was especially AWFUL. Will never return, would not suggest to anyone.
Sadly, I have to give this place a single star. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was good and a decent price but this restaurant has some very unsavoury practices when it comes to credit cards. In addition to swiping the card in the standard cc machine to complete the transaction, they also take a carbon copy of the card face as a means of proving the card was physically there. The copies are kept inside one of the same folios they use to bring the bill so they could be misplaced or taken by anyone, especially if someone knew what they were. The fact that they don't ask for ID and they also don't disclose that they are taking a carbon copy of your card is probably the shadiest part.
The waitress was rude to the women until she seen me hold the credit card and then she started asking me if everything was okay. She wouldn't even give me water but she made sure the guys had their buckets of beer. I will never go back nor would I recommend it to anyone ever.
My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant during our stay in Miami on 15 December 2015. I was very disappointed at the issues we had on the evening arising from incorrect charges and the subsequent staff attitude - being charged more than listed on the menu and being mislead by the drink promotions. The only reason we chose to eat at this restaurant over all the other options was due to the promotions we were offered. We were first told drinks were 2 for 1 and we only wanted one drink each. After being placed at a table , only then were we told that the 2 for 1 was per person and that we could not share drinks. We weren’t happy about this but thought we would just have it anyway. At 6pm, we ordered a corona and a mojito each and ordered dinner. Our waitress said nothing else about the drinks and so we took our time drinking them after we ate and ordered hookah. Once we finished our drinks, our waitress serviced us our second (“free”) round of drinks. When we received our bill we noticed the charges were dramatically more than we anticipated. We were charged normal price for drinks (instead of the 2 for 1) and our food was charged incorrectly. When we brought this up with our waitress she said the 2 for 1 ended at 7pm and the drinks were now full price, however we were not told this information by anyone, and did not see it on the menu anywhere. We could have easily ordered our second round before 7pm before the promotion ended but without knowing, we didn’t rush. We requested the manager or supervisor, whomever it was, who said he could alter the price for the food charged incorrectly and one of the drinks but not the Corona. This made no sense to us as he could have easily deleted the extra charge. Nonetheless, we were very disappointed with the service, so upon receiving our check we decided that it was not worthy of the 18% “voluntary” tip listed on the receipt. I specified this on the receipt and signed to pay the amount minus the “voluntary” tip which the receipt clearly states we are free to alter - “Please feel free to adjust or remove the tip amount at your discretion”. I am now extremely horrified and angry to find on my bank statement that I was charged $102.62 despite only authorizing by signature to pay $88.08. This is fraud as I did not authorize this amount.
This is a scam place. Tried to trick us to pay for things we dident order. Have to wait for ever for things they forgot to bring. Drinks etc. And we where like the only one there. 18 tip that you have to pay on top of that. And when we complained on this the manager defend it and is crying about her not getting paid with out tips. What ever you do don't go in here! And this is my first complaining on an restaurant out of 1000s visits all over the world.
Horrible place!!! They’re better places to pick in Miami.. south beach area.. if your hungry continue to walk down the strip. If not you’ll leave disappointed and on an empty stomach. First the service is horrible I literally had to go into the kitchen to get sour cream for a quesadilla.. like really!! As well as they forgot to add the chicken to the steak and chicken quesadilla!! BS!! No salsa for the nachos “you have to ask” (it’s a Mexican restaurant). So don’t even bother.. by the way there’s a better Mexican joint on Espanola way!
Today I ate the absolute worst hamburger I've ever eaten in my life. The meat was dry and it seems that they must get their buns from some gas station mini mart; you pick the burger up and the bun falls apart in your hand instead of in your mouth. I paid $11.37 for my burger and rancid fries, no drink. This meal was so not worth the price.
DO NOT GO! it looks amazing from the outside. excellent location, outside bar/seating under a canopy of lights and tents with 3 hugggeee projector screen TVs playing different sporting events (which is key when youre out of town and still want to watch your home team play!) but that is where the dream of a perfect bar ended. we were seated immediately, and there were about 6 other tables staggered around us, with only a handful of empty high-top tables inside which were all empty. it took 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order, another 15 minutes for HALF of our drinks to be served (mind you, we were only a table of two -- i dont think its that difficult to bring out 2 beers and 2 waters at a time) about 10 more minutes to bring out our food, which was not how we ordered it at all. At this point, i had to go in side and ask the bartender for our 2 waters, napkins, silverwear, the guacamole that we ordered for the tacos (each taco dressing [guac, sour cream, salsa] cost $1 EACH so we needed to know we were getting it!) and the condiment caddy. She told us our server would bring all of those things to us -- he brought us 1 water, 1 plate, and a box of napkins and said he'd be right back with the rest. 35 minutes pass and he has helped a near by table FOUR times with out even checking on us to see how our meal or drinks were doing --they were empty--, let alone bringing us the rest of the things we needed. when we tell him that we dont want the water or guacamole on the bill since he never brought it out to us (our table had been cleared at this point by the busboy because we were finished), he asks us if we "mind if [he] brings it to us any way, because it is too much of a hassle to track the manager down to void it out of the system" -- excuse me?! we dont have any food on our table!!!. Furthermore, the food was terrible. TERRIBLE. the nachos were drowned in cheese, beans and sour cream which left literally every single chip completely soggy to the point where it would mush at contact. the tacos were so so dry. If i hadn't been a server before and believe in karma, i would have left with out paying. this place needs to be put on some restaurant show where they remake (or train) the employees. my one star is me being generous.
The food was okay, nothing special. The service was minimal, I am unsure if it is because gratuity is already included so the effort is bare, but if so that is unfortunate. I would not recommend this restaurant for overall quality.
Look nice, drink and food ok, price really high. Strawberry Margarita $25 , first when you seat offer 2 drink one free. No true. We ask x two small margaritas and brought to the table a huge margarita, then said next is free, finally came the bill x Strawberry margarita 25 box + one carnita taco. One caprese salad total 67,00 and on the bottom said 80,00 they charge you 11 dollars tips. This is crazy...😤😤
The worst service ever and the most rudest staff. We went there for happy hour and our waiter tried to say they don't have happy hr today we said then why does it say that on the menu he said he didn't know... So we said ok we will go then and he's like oh wait let me ask my manager comes back and said ok we can give to u. Super crazy. Needless to say he came back like 3 times telling us oh u can only order two tacos at a time none of it made sense so obviously they didn't want the business. We left Without eating .This place really went downhill its sad to say. Its a shame bc we come here every year to eat on vacation... But we will NEVER BE BACK!!!☺
They sat us right away. Had to go to the bar for our own drinks and was there for over 20 minutes and never had anyone take our order. I will not visit this restaurant again. Try IL Belonese down the strip, they are excellent!
Terrible!!!!! I ordered a Bahama Mama and got a margarita!! Rather than fixing it the waiter added pineapple juice and made a rediculous excuse that because it was blended it would taste different. I even showed him a photo of a Bahama Mama... To add insult to injury they have an automatic 18% gratuity they add to your bill BEFORE you pay that you can adjust which they don't bring you a pen...so they see it when you lower you tip. This place is over priced and lacks on customer service.
Don't spend your money here! We went to the bar about 1230 or 1am and the service at the bar was absolutely horrible! First of all the bartender got an attitude when I asked for water before deciding on a drink that I wanted to order. She took ten minutes to bring water and then another 20 minutes once we ordered drinks. But as soon as other customers came in who weren't African American came in she helped them right away! Even gave them bottled water when ours was disgusting and tasted like their machines didn't get cleaned. The total for our drinks should have been $17 but she charged $24 and gave herself a "voluntary tip" of 18% when she didn't deserve a tip period. Then when wanted a receipt they pretended their systems were down and couldn't come up with one. Please don't spend your hard earned money at this place. As we were leaving he told us to go back to the ghetto we came from! It's sad that this is even an establishment, they were very unprofessional.
Avoid this place at all costs!! You'll only be disappointed and frustrated. Food was quite bland. Not awful but not good. Service, on the other hand, was the worst that I have ever received. Being a server myself, I'm very understanding of when a server is busy or just having an off day. We only saw our server when she took our initial order. We didn't see her walking around once for the whole hour that we were there. We had to wave her down to get our bill and she disappeared once again. We changed the "voluntary" 18% tip because it was definitely not deserved. We go inside and she seemed to be more concerned with socializing with her coworkers, texting, and petting a friend's dog. When she finally swiped our card, she charged us for the full 18% tip. Again, she left and was nowhere to be found. We left the slip with the manager and left without any acknowledgement by the staff.
Do not go to this extablishment. My husband and I went to the restaurant yesterday for happy hour. We ordered food off the happy hour menu that equaled about $21.40. I gave the waitress $40.00. She returned with $8.00. I asked her about the remaining $10.60. My husband and I had been warned about South Beach and the “scams” restaurants play with extra taxes and mysterious “drink quota”. Needless to say the waitress gave me the $10.00 back without hesitation, no apology. Please be careful if your visiting South Beach—many restaurants play the same games.
I just ate at this place near south beach. First of all the service was terrible. It took 1 hour of sitting down before we got the food. After that i ordered chicken alfredo pasta. I saw hair in my food and the manager did not come and apologize. The only good experience i had was that the waitress was nice to us.
WORST FREAKING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE IN A RESTAURANT!!!!! I'm a server so I understand what's it's like, which just goes to say how bad the service was!!! Waiter was rude from the beginning and impatient in explaining the split check situation and the drink specials. He kept bumping into me while taking peoples orders too and we waited 15 min for 2 margaritas that never came so we cancelled them still left a small tip cuz we cant be as rude as he was and bounced. Never again what a bad night. 4th of July 2010 young skinny waiter with the curly bun.
The service was horrible. The waitress paid us absolutely no attention at all and we waited for over 30 minutes for our check alone. Two times I waited for a new beer for over 15 minutes, and we were only 1 of 5 tables taken in the entire venue. My compliments to the chef and the hostess though. The food was great and the hostess was kind
Worst restaurant we have ever been to! Very unprofessional. We waited about 20 mins for anyone to even ask us if we needed a drink. We witnessed who we believed to be the owner/manager argue many times with the hostess. Very hostile environment. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. What's really sad is that its in a great location. I would highly recommend this place to be on the show bar rescue. If you wanna feel invisible then this is your place. Saw about 20 couples walk away because of poor to no service. Only reason we stayed is because it started raining.
