Great atmosphere and service. Drinks are expensive by some standards, but cheaper then most places in the area. Definitely would recommend. Also, their outdoor seating is beautiful.

The bar is one of the more intimate boutique bars that South Florida has to offer a great date night or just a place to grab some brew with friends during the afternoons. The crowds do come in heavy at night time as this has one of the higher class brews on tap that you can only get a craft beer breweries their menu changes often and they also have a wide variety of wines. Update: the bar went full ratchet it is the club drink spot to go after 1am.

Very cool place to hang out. I was traveling for work and decided to swing in here for some drinks. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and the drinks were reasonably priced. I didnt order food buy the patron next to me did and was talking about how delicious everything was.

It literally says it in the name if you're looking for a bar place. Personally it's not my choice of place but I was here for a good bye happy hour thing. One of the bonuses (if you're female) is you can drink free - if you're into being part of the honey pot scheme. Staff seemed friendly enough. Cant speak for the food but coworkers seemed to like it. I would have sampled some if I wasnt on a fitness challenge.

Always a great experience. Friends and I have been coming here for my birthday yearly as the location is great, the staff is super friendly, the bartenders always make great drinks. We have hung out outside in the back, inside the bar, in the spaces in the front and always has been a great time. Food is also delicious.

If you're in The Gables, I don't know of another place with more locals and a genuine bar scene than this. In this area, It's either this or Jada Coles for a good time. The good thing is the bar selection and the fact that if you want to go somewhere else after some drinks, you're close to everything Miracle mile has to offer.

Very friendly staff & cute decor on newly renovated Giralda street which opened this month. Turns out this place has been around for 45 years or so. One of the oldest bars around so there's a history!

Came here to celebrate a friend's graduation and loved it. Not too many bells and whistles here: get your drink, take a seat, or enjoy the music by the DJ. Our friends had an excellent time dancing here, the DJ played an awesome selection was very receptive to our requests.

One of my favorite bars in the gables. Great happy hour daily from 4pm to 8pm. Ladies drink free on Fridays from 4:30pm to 7:30pm I love to go on tuesdays for karaoke night from 10pm to 2am. If youre hungry give the lobster rolls a try I love them!

I love coming in here is always a good vibe. This place is very chill and you don't need to come dress up. A lot of people come for happy hour after work on their uniform or work clothes. On Fridays they have free drinks for ladies from 4:30 till 7:30. If you can catch the free drinks you can still have a few drinks for a very affordable price.

My new favorite place to get a nice juicy burger.. I was working in the area for about a month so I frequently went in.. always good service and helpful people. Only small issues is if a regular keeps coming in daily the whole ID thing is kinda pointless.. I'm always ready and prepared to show ID it's there job but I mean when you see a regular person then...

Good drinks at affordable prices. Great atmosphere as always. I suggest to get an additional bartender for a Friday night, the wait time was a bit long for my friend. For me it was around 10 minutes, but he waited 25. Luck of the draw I guess. Still, love The Bar always.

If you are new in Miami then it's a good place to meet a stranger. I tried the cocktail as well as the food it was too good. Bartenders are friendly. If you go to a not-busy day they will suggest you a good cocktail and it's really nice. As an Indian living in Latin American culture, The Bar it's great for me. Kind of a hole I'm the wall, this place has a great chill area out back where the benches are, the drinks are good strength too, I feel more like you get what you pay for here. If you're looking to dance they also have a small dance area in the front and seating as well inside. My go to spot at times after work.

What a fun time! Being from Iowa it was nice to find a place with that home town vibe. Better yet we left a bag with many items we purchased at the Fins game, and the manager sent them to us at no charge along with some really neat The Bar swag. What a class move!!! Has been one of the consistently best bars I've been to over the years. When covid happened they really stepped up to create a safe atmosphere. it's still a really great place to go in Coral gables and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This beautiful landmark never disappoints! Had a group of 22 last night and Sarah and Stretch were the absolutely best. Stretch got in high gear and got an area that made us all feel comfortable and Covid safe. Sarah is an absolute Rock Star! Was on point and no one ever had an empty glass, she’s the best waitress. It’s basically a grimy old watering hole. And I mean that in a good way. They have one of the best happy hour specials in coral cable cables. It’s a great place to pregame or post game before or after getting a bite to eat at one of the amazing restaurants outside.

A fine-looking man, I’m told, who stands watch not for money but for the sheer sport of being gallant. If the owners are listening, give this man a raise. He is the patron saint of that establishment, the silent guardian of our small human dramas. We sat outside and Sophia took great care of us. Drink recommendations were right on and the tajin was perfect on the margaritas.

How could I begin… after our airline cancelled our flight because they could find a replacement crew…. Christy our WONDERFUL bartender when ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our time in Miami pleasant! Not only she welcomed us with a HUGE smile but she kept telling us funny stories so that we could wrap up our vacation on a higher note! The drinks were delicious and fast!!!

Been here multiple times, got Arturo as our first security, absolutely great service from him! Went to the bar and had Nani and she was SO SWEET! Got a drink from her :) went to the back and got Sofia and she was beyond sweet, will definitely come back for them!

A Dive bar with fun decor, great music, and reasonably priced drink for the area. Unfortunately, customer service is lacking a bit, and bartenders are more worried about the shots they are drinking than serving. Overall, it was a good time, but expect to wait a bit for your drinks and to have to repeat your drink order multiple times to get it correct.

This bar has a great location and ladies drink free every Friday from 5:30-7:30pm. The interior is large and well decorated, but gets packed and very loud on Fridays. You will most likely end up standing the entire time unless you come early. They have an outdoor seating area but it's basically a back alley parking lot. Overall, it's a great bar for happy hour but could make some adjustments to accomodate the large crowd it brings in.

Me and a buddy checked out there lunch special today. Ribs and a side for 10$. Ribs were great. Perfect texture nice and juicy. Meat came right off the bone and was not crusty. The fries were full and fresh. Great deal for 10$

This bar is fun. They recently made the street an open plaza with no cars which makes it even better. The prices are fairly high for beer and liquor. The food is good and the staff friendly enough. If you're in the Gables and feel like a drink in a dark quiet bar you should stop in. It also gets really busy on Friday nights and is good to meet people or bring a group of your friends.

Place is packed with beautiful women everywhere you look. The music on Friday was perfect! The cheeseburger egg rolls are phenomenally delicious. Can't wait to go back here. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good Friday night spot.

Typical dive bar and reasonably priced for Coral Gables. Philly Cheesesteak was ok and was served how it supposed to be (cheese, onions, and meat.) Just a heads up it's the only bar I've been to that takes your ID and card to start a tab.

Place was fun and the music was good but thr people are just so annoying - fighting every 2 seconds and the inside of this bar smelled like vomit. Like the mopped over the vomit but you can smell it the moment you walk in. We stayed outside the bar at a table top. Music was loud enough to hear and all the fights ended up outside. Miami for ya.

This place is a good place to go if you are trying to party in Coral Gables. I went for a friend's 21st bday. The have a great beer selection and great specials. But their bar smelled like someone recently threw up on it. But overall it is a good place it go for a night out with friends

The female bartenders are average. they like to be on their cell phones too much. Automatic gratuity on bills that are $25 and above. Actually anything that is close to $25. My two tabs were $23 and $24 and change. Both of which I was charged Automatic gratuity.

Typical dive bar type place. Kinda dark, reasonable prices but not extreme cheap. Draft beer selection is poor. The draft beer lines were in view and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in forever. I could see stuff growing in them. The wings were awesome! I was worried at first because they looked really dark like they might be burned. But they were fantastic, really crispy outside and really juicy inside. Sauce served on the side do they don't go soggy. The wings were the high light of my visit, the beer and the dj not so much. The juke box was good till the dj started, then I left shortly after. Worth a visit, but I am in no rush it ho back.

I got the wrong order twice tonight. Normally I love this place. I have autism and order the exact same grilled chicken sandwich every time. When I returned with the incorrect grilled cheese SA which tonight I was quickly rushed out with a replacement box and I asked if they were certain it was my order. It was not. It was a chicken sandwich with lettuce, mayo and onion. ( I never order anything with mayo & my sandwich comes with bacon and pepper jelly.I’m upset that I can’t get my order and that two people also had their food delayed tonight. The phone didn’t pick up

Came here on a semi-busy Friday night for some drinks. We found a table in the back, and the server showed up promptly to take our orders. The drinks were okay, but the nachos were a bit stale. I asked the waitress twice for water, but we never got them. To make matters worse, when she asked us to pay, she didn’t tell us that the service charge was already included. Coming from NY, we aren’t used to seeing bills, including service charges for a party less than 6. So we tipped her another 20% on top of that even though we asked her specifically if the service charge was included. We only found out after asking to see the itemized bill because we thought the bill was a bit large. Just be aware…

My old stomping ground. A historic place unfortunately it's turned into your typical vodka cranberry bar. No talent needed. They don't seem to take care of the place anymore. Strong stench of rotten corpse is a clear sign of basic maintenance neglect. Very young crowd. Very hard to get a drink during peek hours. I would not order food from this place. A place once known for decent bar food.

Came here a couple of nights. Poppin place however the bartenders are on some power trip when you try to get their attention after 30 minutes of standing there and being ignored. This was after several attempts to flag them down mind you.

Great place however needs to close down for 3 days and a deep cleaning needs to be done. Then have the restrooms checked by staff every half hour. On the hour run a mop of hot water with some Clorox and Fabulouso that should draw the $$$$ crowd in

Update review: Nov 2022 Drinks were badd. Waited so long to get serviced and when I finally got the drinks they were awful. My date and I both agreed. Music wasn’t all that. Def a different experience than my first. Original review. 5 stars Stopped by here on a Saturday night w/ a friend who frequents the bar. Music was great and DJ was on point. Good crowd. Staff was cool but waitresses seem not to be as friendly. As a first timer, this was my experience but seems like a cool spot depending on the night.

Same DJ every time. I heard this man play the oldest boring music. Dude plays 70s-00s only. Yikes. They don’t serve food here. It’s a bar.

I’ve been coming to this bar for at least 15 years and it was literally the place where I discovered what craft beer is and it’s very disappointing the difference 15 years does. I understand changing and adapting to your market but the drastic change from craft beer bar to just serving drunk people and having bartenders not even acknowledge you to slow karaoke night Tuesday is ridiculous. And it’s not the first time in the last couple of years where it looks like the bar got bar rescued so yeah sure, it’s a cool bar in the Gables with some craft beer events going on etc. but as long timer it’s just not my thing anymore.

Avoid this place at all costs!!!! I got FOOD POISONING from the Fried Chicken sliders. They were overcooked and over-seasoned. Woke up the next day and had to call out of work with nausea and a severe headache.

Every time that I would set my drink down on the counter (to dance) the employee would throw it away and I would have to buy a new one. After it happened twice in a row....... we left and went to a different bar.

Came here on a week night with friends, sat at a table after having to ask for food menus. Bartender never came over to take an order but also never said we had to go up to the bar to order. Ordered at bar, bartender was semi friendly but not willing to go above and beyond. Food was SO SO bad, didn’t even finish mine. Do NOT order the Philly Cheesesteak, it’s literally a slab of hamburger meat in a roll. Tab was $150 for 3 meals and 5 drinks (2 of which were $5 beers). I assumed that was because it was Coral Gables and I was so frustrated about the service and food I just wanted to get out of there so I didn’t question it and added a 20% tip because I’m a nice person. It wasn’t until the next time I stopped in for a drink on our way home from dinner that I noticed a TINY sign by the register BEHIND THE BAR that states gratuity is automatically added to every check over $25. At no time was that pointed out to me and I never received an itemized receipt as I was informed I needed to start a tab to order my food/drinks. They got a nearly 40% tip off of me!!! Literally, unless you’re desperate, save yourself the trouble and skip The Bar. I’ll give them one star because the drinks were strong and I am obligated in order to leave this review.

Probably I went during the wrong night, but this place literally smelled like poop and vomit. That alone would be enough for a 0/5 (if possible), but the staff was kind, even though you cannot even hear yourself inside the place.

The Bar is a fantastic spot with great vibes, amazing drinks, and friendly staff. The atmosphere is always on point, and it’s the perfect place to hang out with friends or unwind after a long day. I’ve been here several times, and everything is always top-notch—except for the Saturday DJ. While the music is usually great throughout the week, the Saturday DJ’s set doesn’t quite match the energy of the place and can be a bit of a letdown. Other than that, it’s still one of my favorite spots!

We just had drinks at this place and find it not only surprising but insulting that management would employ servers like ours. Her name, Daimelys A (per receipt). Not only is she a CON ARTIST and lied brazenly to our faces when confronted about the tip(s) having been already charged but TRICKED US KNOWINGLY about such NOT having been paid, prevented us from seeing the check upon request but even going further as literally hiding when ASKED for it. Can't undertand why management would allow and condone such behavior toward loyal and paying customers. Unless servers like these are reprimanded and/or laid off for their illegal behavior, we see no reason to ever return. And if you do choose to try, make sure you are NOT served by this waitress. But if you do, triple check how much will she be charging you for-and make sure you ask AND RECEIVE what is referred to as a routine receipt.

I visited the venue last night with my 15 pound carin terrier who is a medical alert dog and has all the paper work and also registered with the health department. As I was trying to order a beer at the bar I was approached by a heavy set african American genament who aparantly works at the venue as a security guard. He indicated to me I needed to leave the bar because of my dog. I explain to him it was a medical alert dog, his reply was "I don't give a shit what kind of dog it is" I asked to speak to his manager and he proceeded to grab me by my neck and started draging me out the back door. I will be going back today and filing a police report as I have scratches in my face and neck from this incident. Horrible experience and will be dealt with accordingly

This place denied me as a 23 year old and didn’t even look at my id just looked at me at said “ you’re not allowed in here” over and over again then i was sitting outside waiting for an uber and got threatened that he was going to call the cops on me. It was absolutely ridiculous and I would not recommend anyone coming here due to the discrimination. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.
