Subs are great! Service by a young worker by the name of Nikolas was awesome! This young man helped me with my order and even told me his personal favorites. Treatment by this particular worker was out of this world! I highly recommend you go stop by "The Best Sub Shop" and experience the service by their staff. ( Nik deserves a raise )

While I do owe this place a good review for the number of years I have been going there, and the fantastic experiences I have had in rhe past getting to know their employees. That is not this post. Recently they are in the process of onboarding a new teammember and given her attitude and demeanor, I may not be going back. A little context, this is at least her first full week, as I went the previous Saturday and today (saturday) and there was no change in behavior. She touches everything with he same pair of gloves from her face to her clothes, from the equipment to your food.. . She also has a major attitude when communicating with people there. Given that it is the second time. To me this is a trend and a poor one at that. Additionally she doesn't pay attention when you tell her which condiments/ herbs and spices to add on.... I hope they rectify this situation one way or other cause this pleace beats out so many of their major competitors. It just is a shame given how many years I have been going there without an issue. Hope this helps someone Edit: They have since then corrected this issue and man, it's a real treat coming here again. What a difference!!

Went by for a quick lunch and so happy we found this place. We ordered the Italian and steak and onion. Subs are huge and can easily be shared. Highly recommend.

Just moved to this area and had to try it. Had the cheeseburger sub. You must get the grilled onions and bacon. Outstanding. And they don't skimp on the portions either. I'll be a frequent customer!

Great sandwiches. I always say the bread makes the sandwich and this place has good bread. On the higher side with price but I felt it was worth it.

Great chopped cheese! Hard to find regional food offerings in Miami and I've been looking to find various regional foods, one of them being chopped cheese from New York. Saw the sign advertising it when getting a meal at another restaurant next door. Glad I made time to get it. Young staff, chill mood, outdoor seating.

The absolute"Best"sub shop in Miami hands down! Grew up on these subs from 13 yrs old back in the early 90's, my older brothers are the ones who introduced me to the mouth-watering can't get enough, can't ever get enough of these damn tasty subs! My heart breaks when I write this as I live over 2000 miles away now and the subs over here Suck! I wished they could mail me a sub via FedEx or UPS!

First time here: wow! I haven’t had a sub this great in 20 years. I had the American/Italian Sub. Tasted like nostalgia. Bread was soft and chewy, it absorbed the mayo which was brushed on. The cold cuts were flavorful and didn’t taste over processed. The onions were sliced, mandolin thin; the tomatoes were cut into wedges and didn’t hold excess water. The lettuce was shredded. These small things add up to a great experience - they should increase their prices. The dude behind the counter made it look easy, but the sub even looked like it should be in commercial. It’s truly in the name. This place is Southern Miami’s best little sandwich shop. I’m personally addicted to the honey mustard chicken sub, but the tuna and Italian are also fan favorites in our home. We have to do what we can to keep local gems like this running.

My husband has been going here for years. I 1st tried their cheesteaks over 17 years ago when he brought me one home. So good and love the cold subs too. Turkey and provolone is my favorite;)

The Best sub shop Ever, hence the name-Best Sub Shop! I grew up in the Pinecrest area & was Lucky enough to have discovered this Gem back in the 90's. I've moved away but will travel 2,000+ miles just for that Famous Cheese Steak & the Honey Mustard 🐔🐔PS, thinking about it causes my mouth ta water, will probably stop here 1st before visiting family!

I live very close by and am frequently passing by this place but have never stopped in. Many friends have recommended it, and yearning for something different on this gorgeous Miami Thursday I decided to stop in. I was quickly greeted and I mentioned I'd never been. The girl working made quick suggestions and it didn't take but a few seconds to decide on the honey mustard chicken. Fantastic! A new fan was gained today and I will return many times I'm sure.

First time ordering from here... Off to a good start, because they are on point with the timeliness! Service is quick, prices are reasonable... These subs really are THE BEST. I was impressed, the bread is fresh and the ingredients even fresher. Tasteful, appealing, and overall I was very satisfied. Definitely coming here again on my lunch break! Wish the location was bigger, it gets packed.

This is the go-to steak sub shop for Miami. Us folks that know the name “Philly Sub” originates from the famous subs at Geno’s and Pat’s. Well I’m Happy to say, this establishment is on par with those famous restaurants. The sub rolls here are fresh and soft…the quality beef used is perfectly chopped & cooked and their toppings are delicious. And their pricing is reasonable. Don’t expect sit down tables inside and the parking is a challenge at peak time. Nothing fancy here…Order your delicious sub, pickup and take home to enjoy this tasty treat at home or on the road. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a hidden gem that offers exceptional Philly Cheesesteaks. The sandwiches were truly delightful, and the overall experience was outstanding, thanks to the friendly staff. However, I have to be honest and give this sub shop a 4 star. My only recommendation for this shop is to work on cross contamination. The person making sandwiches was also using the credit card machines with the same gloves. Numerous clients touch that machine each day. I would like to recommend implementing measures to address cross-contamination concerns. It would be beneficial to designate specific roles for cooking and cashiering, ensuring the use of separate gloves for each task to enhance food safety standards.

The second best sub shop in all of the dadeland, Pinecrest, South Miami area. The cooked subs are fire. I can't tell you if the cold subs are any good, cause I've never had 1, but I saw there tuna sub today and am definitely getting it next time.

I've never had a bad sub at this local favorite sandwich shop. I always try to will myself to try something new every time I go, but always end up ordering the hot steak sandwich with mushrooms, cooked peppers, and onions. You can't beat the prices and these subs just don't get better. If you're in the area looking for a quick fulfilling meal definitely check this place out! IG: KFitzEats

I really enjoyed the Philly cheese steak. I didn't add salt but regretted it when I got home. Portion was great, but next time I might opt for the double meat. I wish it was a dollar or 2 cheaper.

Its ok nothing like 88 subs

Best sub shop use to have tons of meat at reasonable prices. I ordered a pastrami sub for $19 and the meat is about half the quantity it used to be.

I tried this sub shop today because hungry bear was closed. The cheesesteak was not great, unfortunately. They need to put about double the amount of meat that they did. The sandwich was not expensive, but I’d rather pay a little more and get a quality cheesesteak with a good amount of meat. This is a far cry from a real Philly cheesesteak and nowhere near as good as hungry bear or some other sub shops in town.

First time here... I was greeted immediately and The staff is very polite. It’s a nice clean hole in the wall joint. No room for indoor seating. I ordered the steak and onion. The Sub was just okay…didn’t have much flavor and the type of steak used is I guess previously cooked and chopped in strips, It’s not what I’m used to and didn’t make the experience of eating a sub enjoyable for me. Owners I would suggest looking into some other options for your steak. I saw the Cheeseburger sub ordered a few times , so maybe it’s the popular choice. The paper towels option is a no for me. I like snatching my napkins from a broken napkin dispenser. I wouldn’t strongly recommend this sub shop, you can get better elsewhere but give it a try you may like what they have to offer. :)

Ordered a chicken parm expecting a cutlet for the chicken but it came out with shredded chicken with no sauce on it. I have yet to try the rest of the menu so I cannot speak on that. However, I was very disappointed with my chicken parm.

Not very tasty to be honest. I had a chicken sub and it tasted bland. My husband had a Philly cheese steak and although it was tastier, it was very oily and the meat was fatty.

I got sick there after I ordered a steak onion and cheese sub. I know the steak was old or not chilled. I had the food stuck in stomach with major pains soon after I ate lunch. Terrible experience. I have never eaten there before nor will I ever eat at this NOT best sub shop place!!!!!!!! Lousy conditions, filthy when you walk in. I should of ran out but I was hungry at the time.

Ive never in my life been to such a filthy, disgusting sub shop or any place that sells food for that matter in my entire life. Im not sure how this place passes code inspections. I will never step foot in this place again. Its a shame because ive been going here for close to 20 years. It was good back then but i believe its switched owners many times since. The only thing that keeps this place going is its loyal fan base and even that is slowly deteriorating. Place desperately needs to be renovated. Until then i wont be going back.

Worse Philly cheese steak ever, ordered with provolone, non existent and the steak was like rubber. Never go again. However the server was pleasant.

Disappointed. My chicken sub was a poached chicken breast thrown on the grill and barely grilled. It taste like a bland chicken breast on a sub roll awful.

Unfortunately I see Best Sub Shop going down the wrong path. I ordered a double steak and cheese NO ONIONS for my next three lunches. The next day I opened it up and there were a million onions (can't eat em). I went back the next day and not only did they not have steak, or bacon (I was going to get a bacon cheeseburger sub), but they also told me they had no wraps... but then took out a wrap for another customer. They made me pay for a new sub (even though it was the same woman on the grill who made my sub a day before), then they did not have change. It was chaotic and not what I'm used to and yesterday they just should have made it right. I love this place but I wasn't treated right- my family and I have been coming forever. Hope this isn't the trend!.... got home. They gave me the wrong sub!!!!!! I went back (3rd visit for the same meal) and she just gave me the sub they had made 2 hours ago, dripping in oil... not sure what happened to this place. Now I paid for a double steak and cheese, another sub, and I'm left with a 2 hour old sub dripping oil. Silvio... do you still own this?

I placed my order over the phone and they told me it will be ready in 15 minutes. I got there 20 minutes later and they didn't have my two subs ready. I asked them if they had made my subs and they told me "no but I got you". I told him never mind I didn't want them anymore and his reply to me was "we have mad subs bro". Keep in mind when I went inside nobody was doing nothing and the grill was empty nobody was cooking and there was no customers around. I hope the owner reads this and hire better employees next time.

First time here. Got the Italian Bomb. What a joke! This I have to say was the worst sub sandwich I ever got. The taste of this sub was gross and I hope I do not get sick from it. Don’t waist your time here. Cheep on there meats and toppings but not price. Sub was $13 dollars.

This is not a professional place. Firstly it needs a remodel it looks like a hole in the wall. Secondly I was there 10 minutes before closing and they didn’t want to make my sub. Go to tamiami subs instead they are way better with way better customer service. Also the guy cooking the food didn’t have his mask on customer be ware.

Subs are ok, but nothing special. Not worth $15. The service is TERRIBLE! Rude people and the store looks dirty. Would not recommend.
