The Henry Miami Reviews
The Henry in Brickell is an absolute must-visit! The environment itself is stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for a truly special meal. With so many people life myself, living a vegan lifestyle, it’s fantastic to find a restaurant that not only caters to vegan dining but elevates it to a whole new level with delicious, high-quality options! I ordered the vegan Harvest Bowl, and it was simply amazing. This dish is a masterpiece of flavors and textures, featuring melted sweet potato, ancient grains, and grilled portobello mushroom. The combination of caramelized cauliflower, crisp snap peas, and grilled artichoke and asparagus adds a wonderful freshness. Finished with creamy avocado, a rich marcona almond pesto, and a flavorful cashew harissa, every single bite was incredible! Their french fries are must try! Our waitress was amazing as well!
We definitely need one of these in Michigan! The food was great and the service was excellent! My friends dined in for dinner when they landed and spoke so highly of it that I had to check it out TWICE before flying out. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing. Truly enjoyed my experience.
I stumbled upon The Henry while walking in the mall. The waitress was extremely friendly with smiles. The hot chocolate is tasty. The omelette is flavorful and tasty. The French fries are great, I recommend over the breakfast potatoes. The tangerine mocktail is very refreshing.
We came to The Henry for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything hit the spot, but the Turkey French Dip is truly next level—highly recommend. We started with the Green Iced Tea, which was incredibly refreshing. I also had the Henry House Salad; it was so fresh and generous that I couldn't even finish it! We saved just enough room to share a large scoop of the Caramel Ice Cream. It was divine—I was honestly tempted to ask if it was made in-house because the quality was so high. A huge shoutout to Kimberly for the amazing service. She made our meal even better! The restaurant is conveniently located right in Brickell City Centre, so it’s the perfect spot to refuel. I thoroughly enjoyed shopping at the mall afterward—it’s a beautiful area. If you're looking for great food and a wonderful vibe, this is the spot!
I've had amazing experiences at The Henry, but last week I knew it was one of the best place I go, I had a late flight out of Fort Lauderdale, and I drove from Palm Beach to Miami to have The Turkey Dip and A Fresh Tequila Cocktail, ( could decide on one, so I had two ) The new layout outside looks great, very inviting, I like to sit at the bar and watch great bartenders make the best specialty cocktails, the staff is alway warm & welcoming. The Turkey Dip is one of the best sandwiches EVER, didn't think I would ever drive an hour+ for one! After lunch you get the best Espresso from custom beans, fyi they sell them to go, I always leave with one!! Don't miss out on this Gem, every time is awesome, managers always remember your name !
I had a very pleasant experience! The bartender, her name was Henry she was phenomenal! I have never met such an attentive and pleasant bartender. Not only she gave GREAT food recommendations, she also made wonderful espresso martinis 🍸 also the fact that her name is Henry just like the restaurant is also AWESOME! Please give her the best shifts and a raise!
Best gyoza I’ve had in years! Beautiful design aside, and the fact they had my favorite non alcoholic beer, food was delicious. But the best part was Brianna, who served our table. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, patient with us, and had great suggestions. Can’t wait to visit the one back home in Southern California!
I could come back here a hundred times and the service is so consistent. Brianna and the management today was exceptional, made my birthday so special. Would recommend coming here for lunch get the steak frites, as well as the vodka pasta
Great service and attention from our server. The food was delicious and the atmosphere of the place was quite nice. I highly recommend the oysters, crispy tuna rice, dumplings, and the bread pudding. The espresso martini is delicious too <3!
Went to brunch Sunday morning. Our waitress, Sabrina, was fantastic. Very pet friendly. Parking across the street in the Brickell City Center is very convenient and they will validate your parking ticket for a savings. Had the skirt steak with eggs and it was excellent tasting and tender. Family had eggs Benedict and a burger. All were great. For desert we had the molten butter cake with vanilla bean ice cream and warm caramel poured over. Sinful! Highly recommend.
The Henry has a lively atmosphere and a stylish design that really sets it apart. We stopped by for a late lunch and were very impressed with the quality of the food. it was a very enjoyable experience. The outdoor seating is a bonus and perfect for people-watching in Brickell City Centre.
The Henry in Brickell: Where Culinary Excellence Meets Unmatched Hospitality. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Brickell, The Henry is more than just a restaurant it’s a destination for anyone craving elevated modern American cuisine paired with top-tier service. From start to finish, this dining experience exceeded every expectation. Our evening began with a warm welcome from Ike, the manager, who immediately set the tone for a memorable night. He greeted us with glasses of champagne and guided us to a beautifully situated table that perfectly captured the restaurant’s elegant yet inviting atmosphere. It was clear from the outset that hospitality is at the core of The Henry’s ethos. Then came Luca, our server, whose expertise and genuine enthusiasm elevated our experience even further. With his thoughtful guidance, we navigated the menu with ease, making decisions that truly aligned with our tastes. His attention to detail and personable approach made us feel not just cared for but celebrated. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish from the appetizers to the dessert was a masterclass in flavor, creativity, and presentation. Every bite showcased the restaurant’s commitment to quality and innovation, offering a perfect harmony of modernity and comfort. The service was impeccable swift, attentive, and always with a smile. Not once did we feel rushed, yet everything arrived at just the right time, allowing us to savor the experience fully. We left The Henry already planning our return, excited to explore their renowned brunch and more of the enticing menu. If you find yourself in Brickell and are unwilling to settle for anything less than excellence, The Henry is your answer. And when you go, tell them Flavia sent you it’s a recommendation you won’t regret!
Tried brunch and dinner here a few times, and both were very good! Gnocchi with Bay scallops was so tasty a bit spicy and definitely unique. Quiche is great, and so are all other dishes. They offer indoor seating in the main area and also have a few cute tables by the bar area. And also a couple outside seating areas. Will be back!
Just dropped in while the girls did a little shopping. Great experience. Staff is attentive, polite and the Old Fashioned was delightful. Even paired it with an exceptional dessert. Highly recommend!!!
If you’re in Brickell and you need a good happy hour hangout, stop by The Henry! The hostess welcomes you with great energy & the restaurant is so cute! Sit on the patio and enjoy those great cocktails! Great job bartender! Thank you to the waitstaff and manager for being so friendly and Gustavo for taking our pic. We will be back to visit!
The Henry is hands down my favorite cafe! Their coffee is incredible – strong and flavorful. Sometimes I go for a quick coffee, sometimes brunch or a nice dinner, the food is consistently delicious. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and cozy, the perfect place to unwind. The best part? The team. Jose, Amy, Taylor, Mateo, and Rodrigo are amazing! They always greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome. I genuinely look forward to going – it's become my happy place. Highly recommend!
The best pasta i never eat, as the same level to Italy. Gustavo, the server was so nice with us. I love this place, big portion and really good quality ☺️
Came in for Happy Hour. Food was very good. Darius was our server and he was excellent. We mentioned we and our best friends were celebrating our 29th and 30th anniversary. They were so nice and brought us a little something special to celebrate. Hostess was also very friendly and very welcoming.
Fantastic night with a New York vibe. We recommend to book a table in advance. This great restaurante, with an atmosphere that welcomes the night, serves excellent food with unique service. The Henry has a full bar and a menu with identity. 2 appetizers we enjoyed were the salmon crudo and the spicy tuna with crispy rice. Far from disappointing, the dishes have great identity and flavors. Tuscan wine, great quality with reasonable prices. Main was a recommended sole milanese with a side of mashed potato that was close to the star of the night. We had a lovely night and can’t wait to be back.
I came to have dinner with my family and the atmosphere, food and service were just excellent. During the evening there was a delay with some of the food and they handled the situation really well and even the waitress gifted us a dessert on the house . Our waitress named Kimberly served us excellently throughout the evening. thank you very much. Overall a very enjoyable experience
This restaurant is next door to us. So we decided to have lunch here since Casa Tua is always too busy. The service was very good. We had the chicken tortilla soup ( I think was the best of everything) the sea bass and the bolognese pasta. His food was better than mine. My fish was a bit too salty. But overall, it's a good experience
The food was very good, we order ordered the sprout and squash salad and the Korean prime skirt steak that was delicious. The waiter was great. We sat outside which was great.
This is an amazing restaurant in the heart of Brickell. It's got this incredible vibe, with a cool ambiance. The Pretzels & Provolone Fondue are delicious! You have to try the Korean Prime Skirt Steak. Order a wine, they have a good wine list. They open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
First I have to thank Rossi for all of her recommendations and great service! It was my first time coming to The Henry and I was pleasantly surprised! The steak was cooked perfectly and the cafecito martini was perfect. We loved the fondue appetizer as well. Will definitely come back!
Had lunch with my best friend that lives in the Brickell area. Rigatoni Ala Vodka, Grilled Chicken Club and the Molten Butter Cake to go... Everything was great especially the cake! Linda was our server.. nice but not very attentive for a slow time of the day.
One of my family’s absolute favorite restaurants to visit when we come to Miami. The food never misses. The food is has excellent culinary taste, is always hot and fresh, and servings are perfect. Customer service is excellent. Highly recommend!!!
It was my first time coming to The Henry and right away I knew it was going to be a great night. I was greeted by Cynthia who instantly made me feel at home. The service was incredible and the food and drinks were even better. Mauricio was amazing! Very knowledgeable! I’d recommend this place to anyone.
We had a lovely lunch while visiting Brickell. My husband had a burger and I had a healthy vegetable bowl with artichokes, sautéed mushrooms, sweet potato, all so yummy!
The food was excellent! Went with my family. We got the Wagyu Cheeseburger and Harvest Bowl. Both were delicious. Highly recommend this place.
Ceaser salad, 2 Steak frites, and 2 cortados plus tip 155$. Well worth it, no complaints, plenty of food. As a benefit, the espresso was surprisingly good.
The Henry is easily one of my favorite spot in Brickell! The vibe is chic yet super welcoming, and the service is always on point. I’m obsessed with their Short Rib Pot Stickers and the spicy tuna crispy rice. Great for a date night or a lively dinner with friends. 10/10!
Great spot to relax and people-watch a bit, and the food and drinks were excellent! We went for a leisurely brunch and enjoyed delicious drinks and food (quinoa bowl was AMAZING). I finished my brunch with quite possibly the best espresso martini I’ve ever had (and I’ve been having them since before they got trendy - lol)!
This place is just stunning. Love all the details and different seating areas. The bar is also super nice and perfect to meet with a friend or to enjoy some bites after shopping. It is also perfect to enjoy a family meal. We tried the brunch on a Saturday and the ambiance was great. We enjoy all the dishes and cant wait to go back to try more.
A memorable dinner anniversary experience! My family and I celebrated my employee anniversary dinner and it exceeded all our expectations. Amanda went above and beyond to make our night extra special, and Phillip provided us with exceptional service. The cuisine was exquisite, with the seafood platter, crab cakes, and filet mignon being our favorites.
Today we had lunch at The Henry at Brickell City Centre and it was fabulous. If you haven’t been it is a must visit. First off the manager, Jose and our waitress, Veronica makes you feel as if you are dining with family. George had a Wagyu cheeseburger with truffle fries and I had the European sea bass. We shared a molten butter cake with pretzel Toffee and vanilla gelato and everything was perfect. The seabass wasn’t on the menu today but Veronica asked the chef if he could prepare it and he did for me. Love this place.
This place! OMG! 12 out of 10. The ambience was spectacular, service top notch, and the food was full of flavor. We visited for a couple of days and met the manager and was taken care of by Nas. We will definitely return. Thanks for an amazing experience!
I had the absolute best experience with Laura today at lunch. She was extremely attentive and had the best energy. 10/10 she was sooooo welcoming and offered thebest service I've seen in Miami. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting or any locale!
I went for their soft opening, and oh wow, I want to go back already! We were able to go and try their brunch and lunch menu. From the moment I walked in, I felt the staff was incredibly warm and up-to-date on their goals for hospitality. I had two hostesses greet me when I walked in, and one walked me to the table, where my friends were, even though I saw them right away, right near the entrance. Our server was enthusiastic about the menu and concept, and she checked on us often to see if we needed anything else. My friend asked for a regular old fashion, and she brought the Million Dollar Old Fashioned. She offered to bring another drink for the original order when she realized the error. All of the dishes were carefully created and presented. Both the Short Rib Potstickers and Crispy Rice and Tuna had great flavor and volume to share. I had the Scottish Salmon which was cooked well to my order (“as rare as you can make it”) and had great textures of the toasted greens with the smoothness of the cauliflower tahini. I am typically not a huge dessert person when I dine in restaurants, but the desserts here are certainly ones that I would order again! The Warm Croissant Bread Pudding was dense and comforting, with its warmth and creamy caramel ice cream. It blew my mind for them to use the croissant as a base for the dessert while keeping its buttery taste and layered texture intact. The Molten Butter Cake had an excellent presentation of the caramel being poured over to finish, and equally as fun to eat to combine all the flavors and softness of the cake. Our favorite was the Key Lime Brûlée Tart, which was absolutely beautiful, unafraid in its tartness and rich, no matter how small bite you take. The restaurant is facing the first floor of Brickell City Center, and the have a cool bar setup where half of it is in bedded in the wall and open to the outside. There is plenty of seating indoors, but also on the outside, extending to the fountain. The staff told me they are having a happy hour available, so I am very interested in returning and sitting at the bar for that! I feel that the staff and there opening managers went out of their way to ensure that each diner had a wonderful dining experience. I have a feeling that they are going to keep up with that standard of hospitality, well after opening!
A group of 4 of us went for our 1st time for their brunch. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server named Amanda. Our server helped to give us accurate suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We tried the peach mimosa and the non-alcoholic basil spritzer drink, both were right on point. We ordered the pork potstickers and the ricotta artichoke dip appetizer, which were delicious! As our meals, we had the French cinnamon toast, egg white omelet breakfast, the chicken roasted avocado salad, side of Brussel sprouts and truffle fries, all which were delicious. Our server was attentive, friendly and pre- bussed all the empty plates throughout the entire meal. Even the manager stopped by to ask how everything was going. At the end we chose the "blondie lava cake" type dessert. With all the restaurant choices you have now a days, it's hard to find ones that have great service, great food and great atmosphere. But when you consider the amount of money you end up spending, you should be expecting high ratings in all categories! Anyways, this restaurant was definitely worth it and we hope to try their dinner menu in the future! Remember to ask for the server Amanda, you won't be disappointed!
Came in to have brunch for a friend’s birthday. The food was good and the staff was friendly and attentive to us. Amanda was great and went above and beyond providing us with excellent service. We also got surprised with this cute coffeetini Christmas tree 🩷 I recommend and will definitely come back here. 🎄
I had the pleasure of dining at The Henry and was fortunate to be served by the most wonderful waitress, Kimberly. What truly stood out was not only her humble, kind, and welcoming manner, but the way she introduced the restaurant and its offerings. She transformed the meal into an experience, and when paired with the exceptional quality of the food, it made the entire experience genuinely memorable.
My husband and I dined here tonight for our anniversary and I honestly wish I could give it more than 5 stars. They had a nice card waiting for us at our reserved table and they started us with two glasses of complimentary champagne. The ambiance was so nice and romantic. They have a DJ, but it wasn’t too loud to talk. The drinks were good and the food was top tier at a reasonable price. The best part of our dining experience was our waitress, Amanda. She made it her personal mission to make sure we had an amazing night. From her drink and food recommendations to her willingness to take just the right picture for us, she was just all around amazing. This was our first time dining here but will not be our last.
Our waiter Darius was fantastic! He provided amazing service. We ordered the French toast and the two eggs platter and everything was delicious. The chai latte and the peanut butter shake was also very good. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated and the food came pretty quickly.
My fiancée decided to bring me for my first time to The Henry to celebrate my birthday & our overall experience was a 10/10. From the moment we arrived to the restaurant we were greeted by the lovely host & were well taken care of by Victoria, she has an amazing personality & was attentive at all times. The managers Ike & EZ were extremely hospitable & made sure that if we needed anything to reach out to them. Chef Sean even passed by the table to present an appetizer that was so delicious. They all truly made it an amazing all around experience & birthday. We will definitely be returning sometime in the near future.
Kimberly was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She knew the menu well, made great recommendations, and checked on us just the right amount—never rushed, never forgotten. Her positive attitude and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. Service like hers is the reason we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Kimberly, for such excellent service!
I was invited to brunch here recently along with a party of 10 colleagues. The biggest rose, or highlight, for me was the Wildflower- a magical concoction of espresso, vanilla, chai and steamed milk that I would love to have daily! One of the best drinks I’ve ever had. The roasted turkey and egg white omelette was also wonderful. The central location for this bespoke establishment was beautiful for people watching and also offered incredible high end shopping options right outside the front door. The interior was spacious with a variety of seating options and there were clean restroom facilities available. Last, but not least, there was ample parking available in a paid lot across the street. If I lived nearby, I guarantee I would not be able to stay away from the walk-up window option where I would absolutely be ordering the Wildflower.
Highly recommend stopping by here if you’re ever in Brickell! Convenient they have the takeaway window for orders, I enjoy ordering smoothies to-go at the takeaway window. They have really cute seasonal drinks as well, highly recommend the espresso martini tower (pictures provided). You’ll have a great time dining here, all the workers are extremely friendly & accommodating. I had my dog with me at outside seating & the manager brought him special treats too, he felt equally welcomed!
An amazing experience. Our server, Lina, was extremely attentive and amicable, as well as the rest of the staff. We received complimentary champagne to top off our lovely Valentine’s Day lunch. In addition, the food was excellent, the molten butter cake was the highlight of the afternoon. Will 100% go back and The Henry will be one of the restaurants I recommend to everyone.
We tried dinner at The Henry for the first time this weekend while staying at the East hotel for our daughter’s birthday and boy were we impressed!!! So impressed we called the manager, Bora, to commend her on the quality of the food and service. We had the avocado salad and the filet mignon and we were immediately hooked. The food was absolutely exquisite, perhaps the best steak we’ve had. The hospitality and professionalism from Rossi and Bora are second to none. We knew we would return but we couldn’t wait until the following weekend and here we are, 4 days later, ordering the same dishes, requesting the same service from Rossi and we got lucky to find them both again! This is now our favorite restaurant in Miami and can’t wait to bring our family and friends to enjoy this gem. If you are in Miami, you must try The Henry!! 5 stars all around.
Un local muy bonito y con muy buena relación calidad precio! Tanto la ensalada como la hamburguesa los gustaron mucho. Las tips están incluidas en el precio final. (Aparecen como gratuity) el servicio muy amable y atento
Follow me on instagram: @stephaniamartino My husband and I after having dinner, pass by to enjoy the amazing happy hour they offer, honestly, I do think have words to express how delicious and out of this world their Espresso Martini was. We also loved the setting this restaurant has, it gave us old money vibes, we sat at the bar, and we received such a nice treatment from the bartenders, will be back for sure!!!
The Henry A refined casual American dining experience that truly stands out. The burger was perfectly prepared and flavorful, the mac and cheese hit the spot with no flaws, and the salad was fresh and well-balanced. The overall atmosphere felt carefully crafted, and I really enjoyed it. My only major note is the mandatory 20% service charge added to the bill without prior notice. Guests should be aware of this upfront, as it makes a big difference in the final cost of the meal. Otherwise, The Henry remains a solid choice for a high-quality yet relaxed dining experience. One more observation is the portion sizes. While the dishes are tasty and well-executed, the servings are not particularly generous. This makes it hard to categorize the restaurant it doesn’t fully align with chef-driven fine dining, nor does it fit comfortably with casual chains like Cheesecake Factory. It occupies an in-between space, refined but restrained.
My wife and I went there for brunch. Sat in the mall seating. The server was prompt with bringing us a bottle of water. But after that everything went downhill. Twenty minutes later after trying to get someone's attention, she brought our server over to take our order. If they're going to charge twenty percent gratuity automatically, they should ensure that the service is great. She gave the excuse that she had the whole restaurant to handle not my problem. Brunch menu is limited and not very impressive. In my opinion. I had the wagyu burger and my wife had an omelet. Nothing special. Prices are expensive for ordinary food.
Amazing breakfast! 🍳 I had the American breakfast with coffee — it was delicious. I don’t eat pork, so the staff kindly substituted turkey instead. Definitely worth it — I’ll be coming back for sure!
The food was yummy, just not extraordinary. The best thing was the cinnamon French toast! The atmosphere is very inviting and great for a brunch with friends.
Service was great, the bar is a bit limited in choice, but overall great staff. The menu for some reason felt limited and we were there on a cold rainy night so the atmosphere was eh. Good place to go but not quiet a destination place, more like a good neighborhood option.
What a surprise!! We had no expectations and actually had the best Caesar Salad we’ve had in a long time (we chase them everywhere we go, locally and internationally) so kudos to you guys for it. The Brussels sprouts were really good, as well as the sea bass. Coffee was really good too. We would’ve liked to see more steak options though. Probably the chairs outside could be a little more confortable, but not a biggie at all. This was a nice spot to enjoy the Miami/Brickell vibe. Overall, we enjoyed a great dinner and we will definitely return.
Excellent Service and Great Food! We visited this establishment during a Friday night. No reservation needed. They were able to accommodate us inside the restaurant fairly quickly. The place was not crowded at all. I liked the vibe of the place ideal to socialize and have a nice dinner with friends or a date. The staff is very welcoming and always attentive trying times help. I had for dinner the burger with fries but before I started with a Paloma. After dinner, for dessert the croissant pudding called my attention and I have to say it was the highlight of the night, however, I over ate and then as a digestive I had a Carajillo. The bill in total was ~$85 including 20% service fee which for Brickell is not bad. Worth visiting if you are in the area.
Stopped in for lunch at The Henry in Brickell. The food was ok, solid for a casual midday meal, but the service definitely felt off. I had two different sets of waiters come by asking me the same questions, which made things feel a bit disorganized, and my order ended up coming out later than expected. Overall, decent spot for lunch, but with the service the way it was, I’m not sure I’d go back for dinner. Probably could do lunch again there.
Came here for breakfast with my friend on a Saturday morning. The breakfast was average but overall good. The service was very good. Both servers/bar tenders were super nice and knowledgeable. The coffee is super good as well. I have no real complaints but wouldn’t give it 5 stars either. I would for sure come back here but wouldn’t make a special trip.
Call 🤙🏻 the Henry from 4 to 7 to catch up with a cheerful happy hour gathering. The London 💂vibes are up and the chills of a relaxing atmosphere start to flow as soon as you step into this posh gathering spot. The bar 🍸🍹area is open as well as covered, to cozy you up depending if you are hot or cold, it depends if you want to blend within the Brickell City Center vibes or a more European feeling thanks to the stylish decor. And like the most happy saying states, gear up to order the following from their happy hour menu, as this review is all about it: - start with their famous recipe 🥨PRETZELS & PROVOLONE FONDUE, the bread is toasted on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside, perfect to dip in the fondue cheese style, that‘s creamy enough to squeeze in every bite of bread! - leave room for their SPICY 🐠TUNA & CRISPY RICE with Fresno chile, avocado, cilantro, scallion, sweet soy, and yeap crispy enough to crunch in each bite. The creaminess of the tuna mix and its sour-sweet taste make it a remarkable option you don't want to miss. - the SHORT RIB 🍖 POTSTICKERS with toasted sesame, cilantro, and ponzu are tender enough to absorb their signature sauce. And of course, there is no happy hour without Espresso ☕️ Martinis on the menu! Perfectly balanced with the vodka and coffee roast. So cheer up for this Miami posh getaway experience.
Bonito bar en el centro comercial de Brickell. Para un café o comer algo. La carta no es amplia. El lugar esta muy bien.
Fantastic atmosphere. Food was just VERY cold. I could tell they cooked the sweet potato and quinoa first, let it sit until the salmon cooked then added it to the plate. That was very disappointing. I sat at the bar and wasn’t offered anything besides the water. And no one came to ask me if my meal was ok. This was my first time here and I am new to town. I hope to return and try again to see if it’s a better experience. Overall, food was tasty (just cold), and service wasn’t as attentive and I would have liked.
The dish is too salty and could be much better when charged at this price. The atmosphere and the services are good though. The restaurant has also default a gratuity of 20% in the receipt. The restaurant located at the Miami city Centre mall, on the ground floor of the mall. The mall is just next to the Monomover station (10th street).
MASSIVE disappointment. Brief summary: place is cool and service is nice. Food is OK (barely). But the biggest problem is the Miami style abuse. $65 for a miniature seafood platter (see pic) and $11 extra for shrimp in harvest bowl AND IT INCLUDES 3 mini shrimp. Rose was served at room temp, Pasta barely had sauce. Would not recommend, all hype.
I was so excited to learn this place was going to be opening soon. As soon as they did, I got a reservation for my bf and I. The place itself is really nice. The waitress was a little slow but it didn’t really bother us. The only thing I find “wrong” is that there is an appetizer called pretzels and provolone fondue. We might as well have order a nachos with cheese from the movie theaters above and bring it down… that’s how plain and ordinary it was. To call it fondue is a total misuse of the word. I lived in Switzerland, we have REAL fondue, with REAL cheese, with actual fondue sets. To serve “pretzel” bread with a “dip” of melted provolone cheese is NOT fondue. For reference, I’m leaving a picture of what actual fondue looks like. Anyway, I don’t think I would recommend this restaurant… it’s stupidly expensive and food is meh. If you want to try it, sure, but to come back? I don’t know, I doubt it.
What I like about this restaurant: It is big with many tables indoor and outdoors, it is casual, simple but chic. It has good ambience. Conveniently located by Brickell City Centre. What I don't like: I ordered avocado toast with NO salt and cheese on the side. The brought the toast with the cheese and abundant salt. I received the juice after I received my meal. A very old flavor of cooking oil. I can tell that they reused the oil for days. 20% Service is included. Super high price for what it is.
I’m in town for work for an extended period and came here a couple times because it’s close to my hotel and has been really consistently good food and good service. The service today was unbelievably bad. Came for breakfast and sat at the bar, bartender was prepping mint for drinks and said let me know if I can get you anything: yep, a menu please. Gives me the breakfast menu, I ask if they’re still serving breakfast and he says yes. I order and he says they’re out of that (breakfast burrito with no special ingredients not used in everything else) and says order something else which I do. Comes back again: we’re out of that too because actually we’re not serving breakfast. I’ve already been here for 40 minutes and haven’t even ordered. Asked for another coffee and a water yet to arrive. Really shocked by how bad the service is today, I’ve been here twice already on my trip, once for breakfast and once for dinner, and it’s a night and day experience.
Overall pretty “meh” experience. Don’t feel inclined to go back but if someone wanted to go I wouldn’t say no. Sat outside on the street patio Brickell Plaza st, the exhaust coming from their kitchen was smoking the area out so we had to move inside. When we were re-sat inside the table wasn’t set. We got served our food with no silverware or water. The food itself was pretty good, my group ordered the wagyu burger, the Korean steak and Ranchero’s Breakfast Bowl. Everyone was satisfied. The Korean steak was excellent but small for $44.
El lugar es lindo, la atención muy buena pero el desayuno no pasa nada. Es muy básico sin sabor ni sazón. Para tomar desayuno, no lo recomiendo.
Yes it’s got great atmosphere, yes it is a wonderful place, but so is the competition around it . I don’t know what they think or for how long they spect to keep up the reap off prices. They finally did happy hour and went the other day. Place was almost empty, and realized why , order of fries $12 ! Whaaat ! . Go to motek upstairs they have it all . I do not recommend the reap off Henry’s
Dined here today - a Tuesday for lunch. They were out of the appetizer we wanted (short rib potstickers). My mom and I were done with our food by the time my husband received his entree - extremely bad kitchen timing. A man was walking around the dining room asking for money. Service was so slow, it shouldn’t take almost 2 hours to get served lunch.
There are much better choices in the same zip code. I think they can work on the timing of the food; everything came out disproportionately out of tempo. Food was disappointing. Ordered both the ranchero and the flower child scramble, and there was no joy when I left. The warm croissant pudding, no good. Molten butter cake was decent but instead of vanilla ice cream they gave more caramel flavor ice cream. The guacamole was brown, the regular old fashioned probably one of the worst around the area…
On Mother's day, they gave each of the mother's a token for a free drink at the entrance. Then when we were ordering, the waitress informed us that it wasn't good for the visit. We would have to come back and order an entree to get the free drink. They created goodwill only to squander it. Food was basic. I ordered a $24 truffled eggs Benedict and got what's in the photo. They basically got English muffins from Costco and added Canadian bacon with half hardened Hollandaise sauce. Sad. Oh and they put us under an air conditioning unit that was leaking water on a few of us.
I was very disappointed with my second visit to this restaurant. My first experience shortly after they opened was good, so I decided to give them another try for lunch. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. I ordered the Korean Steak, priced at $43, and was expecting something remarkable. When the first dish arrived, I was shocked at how small the portion was. While the steak initially looked decent, it was overcooked. The waiter apologized, and 20 minutes later, a replacement arrived. This time, the steak was noticeably thinner, mostly fat, and even less appealing. At that point, I was too hungry and frustrated to send it back again, so I ate what little I could. Sadly, I left both hungry and regretful, having spent $55 on a meal that fell far short of expectations. For a dish at this price point, I expected much better quality and consistency. Needless to say, I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Very sorry for this bad review.. We were 3 ladies meeting for semi-business brunch at 12:45. Wait time for coffees 20+ minutes. Then they said they ran out of eggs benedict. Another 20 minutes later they told us they ran out of bread for avocado toast. We accommodated them and changed our orders as we didn't want to cause drama. The whole experience had several more anecdotal highlights. We got our food in well over 1 hour since placing the modified order. The food looks and tastes like in a diner.
Nice decor and ambience depending on the vibe you’re looking for. It has a nice executive feel but it ain’t Peter Lugers. I ordered the Prime Steak and there was nothing prime about it. Terrible texture and flavorless. My wife ordered the Korean BBQ Steak, which is nothing like even the worst option in KTown. The Crab Meat appetizer was great though. Service was good.
Hi! I’m a regular at The Henry! Today I picked up a Spicy Tuna to go and this is what I got! $22 for this! I’ve had it in the restaurant before and it sure was better presented more! Maybe put some effort in the To-Go?
I waved several times to the blonde waitress with dark eyes because we were seated a bit farther away. She saw me and made a dismissive, almost cheeky hand gesture, then continued to ignore us. After waiting for quite a while, I eventually stood up and approached her politely to ask whether it was self-service. She ignored me at first and then responded in a very rude and arrogant manner. I was genuinely shocked by how disrespectful and condescending her behavior was. I have never experienced such unfriendliness before. As a result, we decided to get up and leave, as this is not the kind of restaurant where we wish to dine. No recommend.
Everything is very bad, the food came very late and it was very cold and it was not delicious at all, I said hamburgers and the meat was burned, in short, orders come very late, it does not come in at least 1 hour, so I do not recommend a pouch here, I want those who will come here to know. And they brought the wrong things even though we waited for 1 hour
One of the worst fine dinning experiences I have ever had! I booked this place for my birthday, (as we were on vacation from the U.K.)I put on reservation it’s my birthday so I will appreciate a better seating yet upon arrival we were sat close to the bar which was tucked in a corner….so I asked to be moved which they did. Because I would have gladly leave if they hadn’t. I was with my 3 sons whom are all under 14 so why they would sit us close to the bar where most there are drinking is concerning..." (maybe because we were people of colour or whatsoever reason that made them give us that seat when there were better seating inside when we later moved. The food was burnt to the point my son didn’t eat his burger. Also, the music in this place was so loud I left with a headache…the only positive was that the waiter was attentive so I guess he deserved the 20 percent tip that was pre added to our bill. But never again! And if you can avoid
The food at The Henry was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, the hostess made the experience unpleasant from the very start. I didn’t get her name, but she had dark brown hair and was wearing a brown dress. Her attitude was terrible — she acted like greeting us was an inconvenience and didn’t even bother to speak or smile. When you first walk into a restaurant, the hostess sets the tone for the entire visit. If that’s the kind of welcome guests are getting, management should definitely consider replacing her. The food and atmosphere deserve better representation.
