Perfectly met expectations of what u need from a waffle house. Nice greesy food hitting the spot. Staff was fast and receptive. Cooked food to order and was attentive to our needs. We had a classic Waffle House experience with a man begging for stuff and they quickly addressed the situation and kicked him out of the restaurant.

Service with a smile, even on a busy Saturday morning. Waffle was served at my request after the rest of my breakfast to ensure it was hot. The meal and service were both excellent. My only critique is the restaurant should be a much bigger than it is and there should be more of them around. People seem to love this place (me included) and they're underselling themselves a bit!! Unllke a previous review, I felt completely safe at this place and noticed no unusual activity outside the building.

Great location! The manager checks on his guests, which is very important to me. Our waitress Franny was on point! The cashier needs work. She just collects the money and says "have a blessed day", but you can feel it is not sincere. Hopefully they will train her in people skills...

After a week long vacation in the keys we stopped in on our way home. Hands down the best service of anywhere during our stay. Highly professional staff is a well oiled machine pumping the food out to an incredibly busy dining room. Everything was exactly to order and delicious. Even though they were so busy the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the wait.

Waffle house is always delicious for anytime of the day but even better late at night. You can place an order online which is convenient. Our favorites are chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and sweet tea.

I came here on Christmas when I was so tired working 7 days straight. I didn't cook and nothing was open. I was so happy to see that Waffle House wasn't closed. The service was quick and the food was very good.

I came for the eggs and hasbrowns, I left with a black eye and new girlfriend. I don't remember what happened between 237 and 248 am, but the waitress said "you held your own". 11/10 recommend.

You CAN dine INSIDE first and foremost, don't let Google fool you. things to note: Menus are on a QR code that you scan and download as a PDF now. eating utensils are not plastic in rappers. Me and my Mother placed a to go order and was met with the most professional polite and smiling staff we ever encountered at a Waffle House Ira, Kieth, Gregory, Shaquan, Shanice and Chantrel is a True A-Team. Everyone was in sync with communication and accommodated me with a adequate shade when I mentioned my skin condition of a Sun Allergy I developed while serving in Iraq. The atmosphere was down home friendly and I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Absolutely loved my breakfast meal the cook was amazing she was on point with the grits exactly how I love them and she was such a wonderful person with me she even gave me an extra one to go since I had told her it was all I was eating since I left the hospital. We walked in, and most employees were outside smoking. We sat at one of the two clean tables. The one server inside said she would get to us after she cleaned a few tables. We got our food, which was very good. When it came time to pay, I asked about a military discount. The server then recalculated the check. It was initially 29.50, she reduced it to 19.50. I told her I thought she had goofed and offered to help. She got angry and said it was right. I paid the bill, tipped her and left.

So nice to go into a clean and friendly Waffle House. Our food was cooked perfectly and our service was very kind. Way to go WH!

I went to this Waffle House three weeks ago, with my siblings and friends and was serviced by Anela. Shout to you! She was so attentive and sweet, we all recognized how fantastic her service was. Was here last year for the first time. It was so good I stopped again this year!

First time here and it was a great experience! We sat on the low bar and the waitress was great. Service was fast, yummy, and everyone worked as a team so that just adds on to the experience. Take care of your employees because they make one hell of a team! Oh and the waffles are to die for !

Best breakfast place. Everyone is so kind and the atmosphere is so welcoming and cozy. Staff are very approachable and the food is unmatched. You also don't need to wait too long for the food.

They have breakfast all day, and it was very good indeed!! We had the all star breakfast, although it was late at night the service was very prompt, and kind. The BACON EGG AND CHEESE MELT is highly recommended (***you might even want to put the hash browns inside the sandwhich***). (Way better than Craker Barrel) Rokishe was a very kind, funny and helpful server!

Not all waffle house are made the same. This one here is special.The environment was very welcoming. The cooks were on point. Waffles and hashbrowns were perfectly made. The server was kind and sweet and the floor manager was super nice and funny. Definitely coming back!

Wonderful, dedicated, friendly staff and amazing waffles. My only complaint is that they drop a lot of dishes into the sink at the food counter and it is SO loud it hurts my ears. But I love everything else about this Waffle House.

Mayra was one of the best salesperson I had at the Waffle House in a very long time. Friendly kind got the order correct with correct prices which is hard to do these days. The food was well cooked and the cook was Friendly as well but had stuff to do so didn't talk much seemed like a good guy and the Food was as if I had cooked it myself. Had a 3rd person there didn't seem to care about anything going on around her so if there on 2nd shift ask for Mayra you won't be disappointed.

Food was good as normal..service from our waiter was the absolute worst. However, the cook was the only one paying attention to us and took care of us while the server sat in the corner booth chatting away the whole time. Never checked on us. So, I gave the tip to the cook! Cook saved the overall star rating!

This was our first experience with a Waffle House. So often on our trips down to Florida we would see them but we never stopped. The waffles are very good as was the other food. Better then typical fast food breakfast sandwiches we often get along the drive and it was pretty fast as well. Coffee was just ok, but I am fussy about coffee quality.

I would like to thank Athena and her crewmates for the outstanding job that did for everyone they served during our visit and those prior to our arrival. The server's and cook's were on point as they handled the in store customers while rolling out numerous to go orders. Athena ran the floor as she was a point guard dishing out assist. My son and I enjoyed our food plus experience despite the load of ungrateful people who were too caught up in theirselves to acknowledge the wonderful job performed before their eyes. So I had no shame about speaking up and addressing the situation prior to walking out the door. I was merely there to make son happy in addition to eating our favorite dishes. I may live in Arkansas, but I definitely will make this location a recurring stop whenever I visit my son's. Once again, I want to thank Athena and her crew for doing their job as Waffle House representatives.

Good ole down home, Waffle House service...quick and to the point. I never go wrong with my fav...T-bone and eggs. T-bone always cooked to perfection. Th bathroom was clean and tidy.

I love having breakfast at Waffle House but today the tomatoes were not fresh and the ham was cold and burnt on the edges. My toast was also cold and scrambled eggs 🥚:-(.

We have eaten at Waffle house many times and location's and had great food. This time the food wasn't what we've experienced in the past. It was barely warm, expensive and subpar (no taste). The server was ok. She kept going back to the rear booth and spending time on her phone.. We'll be going elsewhere for the rest of our meals.

The music is just way too loud. And it’s also the type of music they play. Even though more than half the people that go there are families and older people over 40+ years of age. All they seem to play rap music, some oldies. I know the staff wants to jam out as they are working, but they got to realize they need to play what is suited for the customers. To create the right atmosphere. Plus you really can’t carry a conversation there, because it’s just too loud, especially for señor citizens. Like my parents would prefer not to go there again.

The hostess is rude, she’ll say she’s got it but she doesn’t. Sits people out of order and when confronted about it with a chance to do the right thing she doubled down on the rudeness with no apology and proceeded to give us a dirty booth. When I told her it was still dirty she rolled her eyes and was nasty about cleaning it. You all need to train her better or get rid of her.

It's the usual waffle house appeal with great service. The food could use a little work. My bacon wasn't cooked fresh, and the grits was way too lumpy and thick.

Food was great, but the service was terrible. I waited till I was done will all but a few bites of my food before I finally got my drink. Salt and pepper was not offered, syrup for the waffles was not offered, no drink refills. The food was given at all different times leaving One guy at our table waiting most of the meal time without his food. One employee wore no mask at all and at least half of the rest only had it covering the mouth not the nose. I count 10 employees here right now for a place with about 10 tables and most of them are just standing around talking to each other. I really don’t think I’ll be back. The food was very good though.

Staying at the econo lodge across the street we decided to get breakfast here and we all know waffle house isn't 5 star cuisine, but wow this place sucked and was expensive. Taking after McDonald's business model? Our food was ridiculously priced and all of it was undercooked as hell. Not to mention MY order was taken by an apparent rocket scientist because somewhere between our table and the cook 3 steps behind her she just twisted up my order. I'm pretty pissed we just dropped this much. Should not have left a tip, and I always do.

I love Waffle House but the service here was poor. There were 5 waitresses waiting on 1 cook when we visited. Only plastic forks and knives which I’m ok with but odd. Also the waitress didn’t have a coffee pot and kept taking our cups to refill them only after we asked which seems unsanitary.

My first experience, there was amazing waffles were so delicious. Smells so good. that made me want to come back when I went inside. I wanted to place a to go order and the associate in the front saying they weren’t taking any to go orders. I mean it wasn’t that busy, so why couldn’t she take my to go order and didn’t give me a good reason as to why so I left. Anyways these are the types of things that discourage people from coming back.

We order ham,eggs,cheese melt and sunny side up eggs with grits, hashbrowns. The melt could of been better. Not enough eggs in the sandwich. The sunny eggs to watery. But the grits was on point. Their menu's not like Georgia. Georgia has more selection on there menu.

Please, I keep ordering and buying food from this place and never can the cook make the grits like they supposed to be. They’re always grain and clumpy. Please tell the cook cook the grits all the way just cause it says five minutes grits doesn’t mean it’s five minutes. I don’t recommend nothing

Absolutely terrible, a guy walked in stole napkins and then sat at a empty table and started eating the leftover and the staff didn't say anything until the guy told him to leave but so did the customers. The more I ate the more I was discussed sitting at the counter of how dirty and what I means is food spilled all over. I will.... never.. eat there again. I just want to add, when they first opened up it was great, but now not the place to go.

We walked in and walked right back out after we had to ask the waitress to bring us a rag to wipe down a table so we could sit. There was not one single clean table/counter in the place and they only had one other customer while we were there. We didn't want to get food poisoning. Behind the counter in the kitchen area was even worse than the dining area. We told the waitress nevermind and left.

Not too busy when I stopped and realized they are a bit unorganized and definitely slow. While waiting and watching the chaos there was a person waiting for an online order who was talking to the manager. The manager made excuses saying the the times online are estimates vs real time. Note that the persons order was almost 30 mins late and still not ready. The manager did not handle the situation well. If the manager is a C- employee than there is not hope for store improvement. You are only as good as the leader you have. The saga continued as I was waiting and someone who picked up a carry out got some bad food that the employees when they looked and cringed. FYI waited over 35 mins for my carry out

I went to this Waffle House on a day it wasn’t busy clean tables party of 6 can review the cameras and they asked me to sit down to wait in the waiting chairs like if they didn’t want me to come in to eat , my hashbrows were uncooked and when I told the server she said I should of sent it back with a nasty attitude , the ethical behavior of the stuff is ridiculous I also got my food later then another group the service was different I usually come as a repeated customer, and the service today was by far the worst for me it was embarrassing to introduce my out of town family to such service

The restaurant was not busy. I wanted to set on the counter as it was empty with just 1 person setting on it. The counter was dirty, I briefly waited for someone to clean it as I was having breakfast alone. One of the waitresses came over and told to just sit on one of the tables. I ordered right way. I ordered a coffee, waffle, and country ham. My coffee arrived immediately, and the cook placed the country ham on the grill immediately. He cooked, taking about 3 minutes then placed it on the side of the grill. I figured at first they were waiting for my waffle. After 10 minutes passed I called the waitress over, she asked me if I ordered waffles. At this point I paid for the coffee and canceled the order. Horrible service, they get a 0. The restaurant is filthy, when I left the counter was still dirty. Do yourself a favor on go to the Cracker Barrel right up the road instead.

95+% of any reviews I've ever posted have been positive/complimentary. We always initiate with utmost kindness to set the tone. Was not until we pick up the menus that we realize the table was covered with syrup and or jelly and remnants of bacon. Did nothing more than ask for a towel to wipe the table off and that initiated the worst attitude I've experienced with a waitress in 30 years. Every single interaction was the furthest from any level of professionalism or courtesy. We were not attended to in any way shape or form after our food was served up until we were done. Experience was literally surreal seeing as Waffle House is the exclusive place where my family and I dine from Ohio all the way into the keys. Food was perfect as always. Yami was our waitress.

I arrived 7/5/2023 around 1:30pm. I was hesitant about sitting down because the low tables weren't clean and then the employee ask if we wanted to sit at the bar/high table so he can clean them. When I looked over to the waffle grills it was full of waffle batter and wasn't clean, I looked over to the grill where they cook other food items and the pots and pans and area was messy and dirty. Used plates and half eaten food just sitting there. I didn't want take out neither cause I refuse to eat from dirty kitchen/diner. I couldn't even order because of the looks of the kitchen. There was atleast 3 employees and one couple at a table. There is no excuse for this!!! I'm really thinking about calling the health department.1 star for customer service. They were nice.

Today was our 2nd attempt to eat at this Waffle House location in Homestead Florida since our 1st attempt about 1 year ago was a fail due to an extensive wait time. This time we arrived at 1:45pm. Parking was easy & there was nobody waiting inside. There was 1 available table that needed to be cleaned so the 3 of us stood waiting for about 5 minutes near the counter until one of the staff members addressed us & we indicated we would like to dine in & were waiting for the table to be cleaned. We then sat down on chairs lined up against the glass wall until 2:01pm that the table was cleaned. While waiting those 16 minutes for the table to be cleaned we were able to enjoy the inappropiate conversations among several employees which provided abundant diversity in terms of choice curse words. When the table was cleaned, one of the employees decided to sit at it to enjoy a beverage and after a couple of minutes was asked to stand up so we could use the table. We finally sat down at 2:05pm & continued to enjoy the ambiance which was now provided in a front row seat since they were now much closer to us. After sitting for another 5 minutes & now also having a visual of the staff member who had sat down at our table to enjoy his beverage clean his teeth with his nails in addition to the cursing, obnoxious laughter, etc, my wife & I made that telepathic connection & sinchronized our muscles to stand up simultenously & exit the establishment at which time all of the sudden it became quiet. I never looked back but I am sure they realized what had happened. We will never come to this location again & I do not recommend anyone does unless you enjoy this type of service.

Came there to eat breakfast with the wife and mom. There was only two workers and all tables were empty. Took us 30 mins to still be seated. Coffee was cold and taste like 3 days old coffee. The food look like it didn’t want to be made obviously everything mountain on top of each other. I don’t think if they’re serious about improving their dining experience for guests if they’re not serious about hiring much needed good people out there that’s wants to show their true passion for cooking or let alone help improve their establishment. So disappointed Waffle House used to be good.

Never coming to this place again. I walked in with my daughter and a baby. The girl shouted the tables to the right were closed as I went to sit. There was a table being occupied so I asked the girl on the cashier why was it closed since there was someone sitting there and she said “we are closing it now!” In a very rude way. I think these employees forget that they only are employed because customers are walking in and keeping the business open. There was no reason to be rude or upset about my question. There was no reason to be rude to begin with then I walked in. A simple “I am sorry this area is closed for now!” Would have ok. I left without eating in this place and came to IHOP where the service is way better and I wasn’t mistreated.

I’ve been to tons of Waffle Houses all over the country since I travel a lot for work and this one in Florida City had to be by far the WORST one I’ve ever been too. The bathroom was disgusting with no toilet paper or hand soap, the floor and tabletops were a mess with a empty restaurant! I sat down and waited for over 30 mins to be attended to, then waited over 20 mins to get my drink. The food took over 45 mins to prepare and mind you this was at 3:30am after I finished night shift at the power plant down the road and it was just me 2 other customers. I’ve never seen such bad waiting EVER with only 2 waitress and 1 cook present. I’ve given this location multiple chances to prove me wrong but it gets worse and worse every time I go. The ONLY saving grace was the food was good even though they never give me what I’ve ordered on my hash browns. I’ll never go back to this location.

Seems like the pandemic has left restaurant picking from the bottom of the barrel for workers these days,customer service and professionalism seemed to have dropped in most restaurant,today after placing a to go order at waffle house i tried paying for it after waiting for 5 minutes but was told my order wasn't ready,i then replied can i still pay for it now I'm a little press for time and when its ready i can just leave,i was left standing for another 5-7 minutes at the register while the workers refill condiments on the table, at this time the restaurant wasn't busy at all,finally my order was ready i paid and then left, i opened my food to look at it when i got into the car and was disappointed,i ordered a egg,sausage and hash plate,the hash was completely burnt and hard, i thought twice about going back inside but didn't because i was in a bit of a hurry and i would just waste another 20 minuites of my day and they might spit in my food,come on guys is this really the best u can do

Very, very dirty! Floors a mess with food on them and where the food is prepared! About 20 minutes ago, me and my husband walked in and saw the disaster. One of the very young workers took the menu and quickly swiped the food crumbs off the chairs! The tables and chairs are dirty and not sanitized. Me and and my husband left because of this. Even the area where they are cooking is disgusting ! We will not be visiting this place ever! Too many young people work there and are lazy! No thank you!

You guys need to hire workers who want to work, Emory is extremely unprofessional and does not know how to explain the menu. The older folks always have a stank attitude, this Waffle house is carried by young teens who do their job perfectly.

Filthy!!!! Floors were wet with dirty water and crumbs everywhere. Super slippery and dangerous for disabled people like me. The table ALL had grease prints, food stains and crumbs. The smell should be pleasants because they sell waffles but it smelled like wet dog. So gross, my family and I decided to leave and have breakfast somewhere else. Such a shame because I had really good experiences at other waffle houses up north.

This was the only place we could find open on Thanksgiving day for breakfast before our boat ride. It was horrible food, worse than fast food. There were also so many people working that most were just sitting around playing on their phones, yet the bathroom was dirty and out of toilet paper. Would not go back here even if it meant we didn’t eat.

They don't serve customers in order of order; they made me wait an hour to take away people who arrived later, and their orders were served before mine. They are not organized when it comes to serving customers.

Came to the Waffle House in Homestead this is the 2nd Waffle House I’ve been too. The 1st one was in Texas didn’t like that one either. As you can see the bacon was burn other ppl across from us had food under done & the other over cook. Don’t know if they cook was having an off day but if the food isn’t right it shouldn’t be sent out to the customers.
