I called ahead to check if they had room for a party of 10. The host called back and provided 2 options for seating my group. We ended up being late and he called again to make sure we're still coming and I appreciated his attentiveness. I really wanted breakfast and glad they serve it until 2pm. My group started arriving around 11:30am. Unfortunately, for most of our time there it seemed as if there was only one waiter and one cook. When I counted there were 22 patrons (after a small party of 2 adults, 1 baby, and 1 poodle had just left). I figured we'd be waiting a while for our meals and we did. I ordered the omelet with Spinach & Onions, it comes with potatoes, bread, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. I opted to not make a sandwich with the one slice of bread and ate the lettuce & cherry tomatoes as a side salad... it definitely could have used some dressing. My toast would have been better if it had been buttered. My potatoes would have been better salted. Next time, I'll ask for Salad Dressing, Butter, and Salt. The omelet was excellent and the Grapefruit juice was good.

Had both breakfast and lunch here with my mother. Their breakfast was good. I had the oatmeal while my mother had the salmon eggs benedict. It was their lunch however that was the star. I had their salmon & whitefish burger and it was absolutely delicious! I mean wow it has been a long time since I felt sad after finishing a meal, it was that good. The ingredients were fresh, well seasoned, perfectly flavored. A definite must have if you come here. Their homemade tartar sauce and the little slices of pickle layered in the burger gave a wonderful addition of zest and flavor without overpowering the burger itself. According to my mom the portobello burger was just as delicious.

came across this location as I was looking for a new place to try. It was just what we all needed. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The selections on salads are robust . And the juices were the best part of it all. Made by an amazing staff. all the staff there were friendly. I highly recommend it.

The Friday night man server was super attentive. And the house music and overall set-up was great. (except for the sometimes screaming child). Will try to go back before I depart.

Benedict on Bread Rocks! Stumpled upon Wolsen while checking out the plaza for breakfast. Arrived right as they opened. Server was cheerful and loved engaging with us. My wife and I love eggs benedict and the thich-cut seed crust toast Wolsen serves theirs on was amazing! Also check out the Portabello Burger if you're a mushroom fan and the fresh-squeezed juice - I had the grapefruit and WOW was it great. If you're looking for a place to work though, keep looking. There's a "No Work Zone" or something sign on the door, which I think helped set a specific environment...we appreciated it. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Wolsen Caffe, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. I had the syrniki (labled as farmer cheese pancakes), they are amazing Russian pankakes, and it was hands-down one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Their coffee? Just wow. Smooth, rich, and brewed to perfection. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll definitely want to try their signature blend. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and care they put into every dish. Absolutely loved the place! While visiting Miami, I was looking for a place where my daughters and I can have a nice lunch. Once four of us stepped inside, we loved how inviting and clean the place looked. I got kale/salmon salad (it was $15 or so), the portion was very generous, the food was fresh and delicious. My children got burgers (Turkey burgers, Hungry Bird burger, at about the same price point), portions were very generous as well, but they ate every last bite, this is how delicious the food was. They have variety of freshly squeezed juices, very yummy and healthy. I also tried their latte (very good!) , my daughter tried iced tea (actually steeped and chilled for you, my daughter loved it!) The service was fantastic as well. When we asked about items on the menu, the recommendations were right to the point. This place is a gem! I will certainly come back there.

Went here on a pretty busy day, and parking could be a problem at the wrong time, yet I had a very nice experience in the end. The food was great and the staff were very communicative, the waiter even spoke russian, which is how we mainly talked. The menu is easy to read and there is plenty to choose from. The pricing is alright, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very antique and there are lots of things to look at. Overall, 5/5 11/10 would recommend to a friend.

This became my go-to spot once I discovered it. It's a hidden gem. The food is delicious. The staff is super friendly and go out of the way to accomodate. The interior and decor is very tasteful, however, due to the quarantine outdoor dining is the only option. It is kept clean and the staff disinfects everything after each customer and social distancing is observed.

They also offer wines from Cabernet franc, merlot, pink nori, pouilly fuisse and many more again in stunning wine glass that you wanna take home. Lol. Now let's begin with the food options. I been here few times if it's for coffee or wine,but yesterday 06/15/17 I order a sandwich (tasty Italian) well it was tasty. Prosciutto, stracciatella, tomato and basil in a toast bread with a side of salad and a home made dressing and yes I order a latte. The sandwich was just perfectly done and so tasty ( big enough to share). I left my discover card so I had no choice but to come back again and now that I was here, hey let's order breakfast why not. 06/16/17 I order (ooh toast) oh yes great choice for breakfast recommended by the owners son. It had two sunny side eggs, pesto sauce, permesan cheese, tomato and toast... you can also share. Sandwich was excellent but it was to messy to eat. My experience was just amazing. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Prices are great $4-$15 max for great quality food and amazing Service. I can't wait to visit again, which it will probably be soon. It's my backyard. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner and just because I loveee coffee and wine.

Was very impressed with the restaurant. The food on the menu is healthy. Eggs benedict with salmon was delicious, they also can do European style coffee drinks, like latte macchiato. The waiters are attentive to customer needs, and do their best to please the customers. Will definitely come again when visit the area in the future.

I want to share my experience and leave a review about a wonderful place in the center of Sunny Isles Beach, and this is Wolsen cafe. I decided to have breakfast there and never regretted it. The menu is so good, and during breakfast, the rest of the menu is also available. I ordered Catch The Benedict and was delighted. All ingredients were so fresh. Coffee .... No words. Cappuccino made by Maxim, my server, was amazing. In the future, I want to become a regular client and try everything from the menu. They say, according to reviews, this place is famous for the burgers. I can't wait. And by the way, I was with a 2 month old baby, and he never woke up, there is very calm, even though caffe was almost fully seated. pleasant background music. I recommend this place to everyone

Cozy and old fashioned place. Cushy leather arm chairs, smooth sleek wood fills the room. Interesting trinkets along the wall make you feel at home. A delicate cup of toasty coffee definitely adds on to the rustic feel. Great place to ponder, study, or relax while drinking your tea, coffee, wine or juices.

We had 3 days of group lunches with various choices. I love THE SALAD, Grill salad and King Salad- still want to try Porto Burger it looked delicious. Shtrudel is a MUST. This place is amazing! Hands down one of the best breakfast I’ve had. The gardeners Benedict with pesto is incredible, I could have licked my plate 🤣 and the cappuccino has raised the bar! Thank you, hats off to the chef and staff. Went back the next morning and got the home made mozzarella, fresh sweet tomatoes, pesto with wonderful crusty bread!

Lunch after a long flight and then Lyft to our hotel. The food was fantastic. So very fresh! We had Eggs Benedict with a mushroom sauce and a grilled chicken sandwich with guacamole. Bread was wonderful. The guac was made to order. Friendly service. We'd give it a 10 if we could!

Neat restaurant with good vibe in Sunny Isles Beach. This cozy restaurant severs a mixture of breakfast and entrees dishes. They have a few tables outside and inside there are either regular tables that sit about 4 people or you can chose to sit in the single couches. They do have at least one high chair for kids which was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and the music and decor were very nice. I ordered the Chicken Rice and it was pretty good. Not a lot of sauce but the portion was just right. Will need to come again to try something else.

Our waitress is still learning English so there was a little language barrier. I got the American style breakfast it was disappointing the eggs were bland and it was turkey bacon smh. But the sausage was really good. I didn’t get the bbq sauce or the potato’s. She did give me a free americano after I was done so points for that. All in all not a bad place to hang. I see a lot of reviews for the burgers so you might want to try that.

Food is ok, service flop. We waited for almost 40 minutes for our coffee, we got it after the third reminder. Staff is very unorganized. You need to remind them several times about any tiny issue - menu, check, coffee. So you can't just simply enjoy your breakfast. On the other hand, the food is good. I will definitely give this restaurant another chance. Maybe it was just a bad day. Right now, I would say they earn no more than 2 stars. But I am giving them 4 stars in advance, hoping the next time will be better.

Great place to eat. Excellent, fresh food. Love their burger and the steak fries. They are not laptop friendly. I would go in there and drop $200+ every time but they told me they weren’t allowing laptop’s anymore because some people sit there all day having only ordered a coffee. I responded, clearly I’m not most people. They said I’m sorry, the policy is what it is. I have not been back. If I can’t even open my iPad to respond to a customer with a question (I’m a real estate & mortgage broker) while in the middle of a meal then this place is not for me. It’s a shame…I really liked their food.

We had our dinner at Wolsen Cafe, I had chicken with rice, it was delicious. Their coffee was great too. A nice little french coffee shop. The decoration was different. They have outside seating area, two small tables. Parking was so easy too, we parked in front of the cafe.

AMAZING Butternut Squash Soup! Decent vegetarian options. But food can take awhile to get even during down times. Nice and chill decor. Service can be a hit or miss... where the feeling is like they're doing you a favor or they're waiting on your hands and feet. But the Butternut Squash soup is amazing! 👍😃

Found this spot today and had to try it out. The food was tasty and fresh and the place itself is a cozy yet spacious store front. The only downside was the service -- it was definitely lacking. The staff was nice and helpful once asked, but was not proactive in waiting. Word of advise, invest in some training for your staff.

The steak salad was ok, the steak was chewy but the vegetables were seasoned and cooked well. The burger was good, it came with long potato wedges that were supposed to have paprika on them. We didn't see or taste any paprika. We wanted to like this place because of the great reviews but I don't think we would try it again. Sproutz which is in the same plaza is so much better. Wish we would have gone back there but we wanted to try something new.

Very nice atmosphere with antique decor! The coffee (cappuccino) is great. However, the food is ok. The Catch the Benedict was bland. The bread is plain with nothing to it. New York is pretty competitive, so I expected the same here.

It’s NOT a place for a good breakfast. Eggs Benedict lacked flavor. The home fries was not fresh and as per waiter they buy the fries frozen and then reheat in the oven. Apparently the burgers / lunch and dinner is suppose to be better. The inside decor is nice and I guess it would be good to sit down inside for a cup of coffee and some desert.

Place looked nice and service was good but coffee (cappuccino) was seriously awful. I am from London and really into specialty coffee with micro foam, latte art and the like and this coffee was the opposite of. Some people may like it but for Europeans in love of specialty coffee, this place isn’t it

Seemed like a great place and visited 3 - 4 times a week for a few weeks. Until I decided to host a business conversation there and when the counterpart pulled his laptop we were asked by the server and then by the owner over the phone to close the laptop or leave. We were having drinks and I was going to have a snack too... but despite the place being empty at 7pm - except for my party of three - they insisted for several minutes we had to close the laptop or leave. Clearly, the business meeting was ruined and so was the desire to ever visit this place again... I get they dont want squatters that sit and order nothing or very little while doing work and occupying tables that could be producing revenue. But, the place was empty except for us, we were consuming, and I was a known repeat customer to the server. Definitely hospitality is not their vocation....

Party of three. Went in at 9:45 right after opening. One of the very few people. Placed an order of coffees and a medium plate of cheese and meats. We were not given plates but instead ate on napkins. About an hour later I walked up to the counter where there were two waiters and asked if one could come to our table so we could order. Was told to wait 30 more minutes until they got to all the other tables first. However, the Russian couple next to us who appeared familiar with the serving staff were served promptly. Very strange. If you’re not well acquainted with the staff make sure to add 1.5 hours of waiting to your service. Try Granier Bakery just north for faster service. I did.

The cafe serves delicious dishes, but unfortunately I couldn't taste them. I made an order, sat down at the table and opened my laptop. The waiter came up and asked me not to use it and told me about some rules. I had to leave. However, in a good cafe, there is one rule - to make the guests feel good. Perhaps the cafe management will become more loyal to its customers. Then I'll love this cafe too.

I saw how the owner/employee of this establishment asked a towing truck to take a car in front of the shop that was parked 100% legally while is a different store nearby. There was no sign that parking was exclusive to this store, nor any mention to not park there if you weren’t consuming at the store. really of bad taste to do this, beware if they treat clients like this hope you dot get poisoned by eating there.

I recently visited this café with the intention of enjoying a meal while working on my computer. However, the staff informed me that using a computer was not allowed in their establishment. This was quite disappointing, as it affected my plans for the day. Due to this restrictive policy, I do not plan to return and would not recommend this place to others seeking a comfortable work-friendly environment.

Too bad I can't give 0 rating. I'll begin with the customer service, Management should know by now that the waitress is key and very important in setting a welcoming entrance to customers.... Upon entering the restaurant a last Monday around 6:30PM, the waitress was incredibly unfriendly and self entitled. She was also on her phone the ENTIRE time! Did not get her name but she was a tall Russian twig with long light colored hair. She did not serve me any water so I was waiting until the meal came for 15 minutes without a drink. She did not even sit me, I sat myself... However, she was extra nice to a table full of Russians, so this woman is 100% racist, and I take it the store is too and not welcoming of anyone who is not their "OWN". When I paid and left her a tip (which she did not deserve) she just snatched the receipt and did NOT EVEN THANK ME. What a little BI**H! She opens the door for herself and did not even hold it for me after she saw me walk right behind me -- Shame on this place, what an unpleasant time thanks to her. Don't support racist businesses and don't spend your money here! If you know what's good, ya'll will fire this mess of a waitress.

Not laptop friendly. Charge for butter. They need to learn what their customers want, and from the competition who does not change for butter. A very minor and petty detail made all the difference.

Siempre voy a esta plaza a comer. Hoy estacione fuera de su local para dejar a mi hijo con su abuela en el parque que esta al lado. Vivo en sunny isles. Luego fui a comer un sandwich a Pollo tropical. Cuando vuelvo mi carro no estaba. La dueña una mujer rusa desagradable llamo a la grua para que retiren mi carro. Me hizo pasar el peor momento de mi vida. Pense que me robaron. Su restaurante siempre esta vacio se nota que debe ser por su mala atencion y mala vibra de su dueña
