Yeung's Lotus Express Miami Reviews
I've never been disappointed when I come here. Lotus is the main reason I even go to concord mills. The bourbon chicken is amazing, the best hands down!! 10 out of 10
Good attention, the food was also good, not too pricey, nickel
Great food. They give samples
Their Bourbon chicken is amazing.
Good
W Chinese food
I love it!
As an German exchange student one of the best foods in the world holy, it was great and the cashier was funny and the service extrem cool
我宁愿和杨会面,讨论她的特许经营的纯艺术。在吃了第一口食物后,我和我的朋友们暂时提升到了星体层。我离开杨时,他已经是一个更有经验的人了。
I just tried their food today in the concord mall food court. It was shockingly good. I expected it to be cheap like panda express...however, their Kung Pao chicken and bourbon chicken just blew my mind..mixed with their fried rice...man I went to flavor town. So i had that, plus 2 spring rolls and a small coke..ran me about $18, but worth every cent. Next time my wife drags me to the mall against my will, this place will be a MUST on the bucket list of things to do. Cant wait to dig in again.💓✊🏿
super shocked at how good this was. I got the pepper chicken and pepper steak with the lo mein. the best mall food (this style) that Ive ever gotten, and I'm at the mall a lot, believe me. from chicago to north carolina I do a lot of mall wandering around. so so surprised, good job! both my chicken and steak were cooked perfectly and were SO flavorful, what in the world?!
We went in a Sunday evening. About an hour to close and there was a long line. The service however was quick and food was made fresh.
The only place I've found in the Charlotte area that has real "SPICY" Kung Pao. And the flavor is very good. Especially for the price.
Although I only order spring rolls, I get service quickly and the food is always good!
Dont you ever hate on Lotus Express. FAVORITE CHINESE PLACE EVER. Im in love with this place. No joke. I came to the mall just for Lotus.
Best General Toas’. Chicken I’ve ever had 🙂↕️
Staff was helpful in figuring out what I should get considering my low spice tolerance and quick and friendly. And the portions were SO generous like they're running a CHARITY. Get the Lotus Box ... It'll box you up. What a DEAL.
For mall chineese food its great. Huge portions, food taste pretty good. Can feed 2 people for 12 bucks, for what it is.. 5 stars
We eat there every time we go that way. The food is good and large portions. Staff are friendly. We hadn't been in over 3 month's because if the cold weather. We just recently made a trip there and the lady remembered us. So nice. 😊
this place had many options and fair prices!!! i got the orange chicken, pepper steak, and the Singapore noodles. the chicken was crispy and soft, none of that chewy or rubbery feel. good flavor on the sweet side. the steak was tender too! a bit of a bite and a rich flavor. the noodle was super good and they even added a bit of the sauce from entree next to it. they recommended it for an extra flavor. great portion sizes. quickly moved me along the line, no complaints here, will be back again!
Yeung’s Lotus Express located in the food court of Concord Mills Mall is pretty good! Typical Mall Chinese Food, but was freshly made, and tasty. Got the General Tso and Orange Chicken. Pretty sweet, but flavorful and the pieces were large and all chicken (not a lot of breading with no meat underneath - these were great!). Service was quick and friendly.
Tasty enough for mall Chinese food. Depending on when you buy the food here, it will be fresh and tasty. I usually grab food from here at the mall. They are usually very quick in service and generally give generous portions.
Can't go wrong with the bourbon chicken, and for those who like spicy food the Kung Pao chicken is on point!! They don't allow you to split rice and noodles anymore, so I typically go with the Singapore noodles which also have a little spice kick to them.
It's in the food court at the mall. The workers are friendly and really pile up the plates. Chicken was good. Really good. Will be back for more. First time ever trying AmericanChinese food. Orange chicken and bourbon chicken. Fried rice.
Located in the food court of the mall, Yeung’s Lotus Express serves up some pretty good food. We tried the Singapore Rice Noodles, Bourbon Chicken, and Pepper Chicken. The Singapore Rice Noodles stood out—flavorful and delicious. Portion size was decent—not too much, not too little. However, the service could be better. The staff member who served us wasn’t very friendly or welcoming, which slightly took away from the experience. Overall, good spot for a quick meal.
Staff was friendly. We ordered the orange chicken with noodles. The chicken was fantastic. The noodles tasted old. Like they had been sitting all day. Would return but will try the rice next time. Got a nice portion of food as well.
As with any mall food court restaurants, the food is adequate. It won’t blow your mind. It fills you when you’re hungry. It’s not terribly expensive and it’s quick in and quick out. I enjoyed it.
The food taste ok having two types of chicken with slightly varied sauce gets old on the taste profile recommend getting meat with veggies to vary the taste and consistency. I threw most of it away. I got tired of the taste.
2 large entrees and one side of noodles/rice for 8 bucks isn’t bad considering the portion size. I was able to feed three with the one tray. The bourbon chicken was really good and the orange chicken was good as well. Is this gourmet? No. But it’s not horrible. Employees were friendly as well.
Ran out to Concord Mills last weekend to try the Bourbon Chicken at the food court. I got a double order over rice. It was absolutely delicious! Ate every morsel while sitting at the counter surrounding the merry go round. We'll be back!
As a mall employee ive had several experiences here mostly good but depending on the staff its either super friendly and generous or its they dont know you exist and ignore you then converse with eachother and pretend like your not there id rather go to burger king but it was closed today. 3 stars cause the food is pretty good but service needs work.
Raw! Every single chicken chunk I had was raw. Unfortunately I grabbed it to-go so I never was able to exchange for a different dish. The only reason I’m not giving it a one star was because the flavor was decent.
Average portions, orange chicken was juicy but had a tomato-like flavor and coating. Bourbon chicken didn't have good flavor. Service wasn't rude but wasn't friendly.
The orange chicken was too sweet. The rice was wet but not cooked properly. The noodles were over cooked and the general tsu was sweet not spicy. Wouldnt recommend if you need good food. 3/10 food for me.
The chicken was literally just the breading for the majority of the pieces. The general Tso's chicken tasted just like the orange chicken which wasn't the best sauce. My stomach hurt directly after and I couldn't even it's 1/3.
THIEVES!!!!! MY MEAL WAS $14.74 NO TIP, THEY ADDED A $42 TIP WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE!!!!! I GOT AN EMAILED RECEIPT SHOWING THIS AND IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO MY BANK!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE, THEY STEAL MONEY FROM YOU!!!!
10 may 2019 @1158 I ordered the lotus box. 1 side and 2 entrees for 7.48 plus 1.87 for a mr. Pibb. The singapore noodles were ok. Average at best. The general tso chicken was disgusting and zero spicy. Not even a hint of spice. Just overly deep fried chicken basted in ketchup. The pepper chicken was ok. But also, no heat. Last time I come here. I suggest you avoid as well.
It’s horrible it used to be really good but now it’s all stale and it used to be so good and the best place to get Chinese food but now it’s trash.
Food was good until it gave me food poisoning and I puked out my whole stomach
Food is terrible. Panda Express wanna-be, but not even close to their quality. Service is even worse.
Food was just ok but, service and pricing was the worst!
The rice was stale . Horrible steam rice tasted like I was eating plastic
Found a roach in my noodles , stay away from this place it made me sick , shut this place down
Nasty place nasty people. Take your money elsewhere.
Disgusting taste of food expensive and poor service
Literally disgusting. I've never had horrible mall chinese food like this. Plus we were denied a sample.
The amount of grease on the rice itself is awful. The chicken taste like a chewy plastic and overall grease and oil all over the plate. Went to complain and what they said is that this is how is supposed to be, unacceptable ! Did not get my refund nor anything else. Customer service is -10
The rice taste like garbage and she’s done. Rice was burnt. I told mine in the trashcan.
I literally don’t know why anyone would come here unless you want a trip to the hospital. Not only have people seen roaches, but now maggots !! Also other reviews on yelp stated that one of the ladies refuse service to “certain people”. This place can not be serious, how are they even still open?? I don’t usually post reviews, but when I saw the maggots on Facebook, uh uh. Do not come here.
I hate to give 1 star - the food was absolutely terrible, but the customer service was excellent. The fried rice has no flavor - it tastes like unseasoned white rice. The General Tso's chicken is by far the most disgusting I have ever eaten - I honestly have no idea what I was eating. It had a weird taste to it. The Bourbon chicken is boring and very under seasoned. If you are looking for Asian food, look elsewhere.
this was the most disgusting chinese food i have EVER had in my life. if they had zero stars thats what they would get from me. my food was raw, they told me i cant go in the trash for my receipt and he said “thats not right” and i said “well serving raw chicken isnt right”. the manager had a very nasty attitude. once i mentioned that i will be leaving a complaint as im doing right now then he wanted to help me out. well i just wanted to tell everyone because i wouldnt want someone going through what i had to go through.
The amount of filling in the crab rangoons I bought was … nonexistent…. And I bought 6…. Without knowing that it wouldn’t be worth it just fried bread and a little tiny bit of crab to taste rubbed on the inside of the bread if any. Overpriced, gave me the wrong meat…
I couldn't tell you how the food taste because we were very rudely told they do not do samples at all. But I can say the staff is very rude with the way they speak and a t towards possible customers.
Gonna take my son to the ER or Urgent Care. Got to be food poisoning from this place. Staff members were too busy laughing when my son ordered his food. He has diarrhea and nausea symptoms. We will never visit this place again!!! This place needs to be shut down!!! Gonna contact Concord Mills in the am.
I got teriyaki chicken and it was so sweet and then they loaded it down with black pepper that it was pretty much to the point you could not eat it. Avoid this place and save your money this place is really bad.
Horrible customer service. How am I supposed to know what I want as a first time guest with only one sample? They are rude. The food didn’t look that great. Will drive 30 minutes to South Park mall for better food and service.
Absolutely disgusting. Roach crawling on bar with food.... When you get sick, don't say you weren't warned
Ok today two of the employees were messing with the other employees hair while around the food...I told them "are u really doing that around the food..." they look at me and tell me to shut up...then I watched them and not one of them went to wash their hands...so no if I could I'd give the place negative 5 .... if u find hair in ur food u know why
Employee is very rude. I bought for $30 and I grab my food, and handed to my friend. I ask for 2 plates, she is saying each plate is $0.50. Food is also not good mainly that veggie rolls.
Went to this place with friends and was disappointed to see a lady scrating her hair and picking her nose and coming straight to serve the guest that's so dirty please managment should look into this its should be hygienic. Will never ever eat there
This place has the worst quality of Asian food I have ever experienced. Food so bad I almost asked for a refund
I usually get the bourbon and for them to just open my chicken tasted old very disappointed wasn't even able to eat it
Food is not fresh! I took two bites of my bourbon chicken and threw it in the trash!! I will not eat here again.
This place is horrible. I got my food from this restaurant and there was red long hair in my food. When I went back to get a refund they refused to give me one after showing them the hair inside of their food. I had a receipt and proof to get a refunds. They chose to say that I placed hair in my food because the color didn’t match the workers hair. I have black curly hair and the hair in my food was bright red. The service is horrible and I would stay away from this place. The customers are rude and not accommodating. do not recommend at all
Went to Lotus Express and was pretty disappointed. They don’t let you sample anything before ordering, so it’s basically a blind pick. We ended up getting the Kung Pao chicken and lo mein — both were a miss. The chicken was super dry, like it had been sitting out for too long, and had barely any sauce or flavor. The lo mein was really slimy and just had an odd texture that made it hard to eat. The whole experience felt rushed and unwelcoming. Definitely not somewhere I’d go back to.
I had a very negative experience today. I ordered some noodles for my children and opted for the combo plate because it would be cheaper. I asked to have the meat put on a separate plate because I have a child with a food allergy. They said they couldn't do this and then filled the entire box with noodles even though I asked them not too and did a separate box for the meat and charged me double without asking. Very disappointed that food allergies cannot be accommodated and that I was treated so horribly. Won't be back.
Noodles, Pepper Steak, & Pepper Chicken = FOOD POISONING. I don’t have a sensitive stomach and I haven’t had food poisoning in over 6 years. The food tasted fine but 8 hours later was I was very sick.
