I came here fairly close to closing time and they still took my order. I ordered a carne asada burrito, and let me tell you, it is the largest burrito I have seen in Lake county without a doubt. It was very good, the rice was excellent, and there wasn't a shortage of all of the different fillings. The price was a little bit high, but it was definitely worth it because of the size of the burrito. You have to go get a burrito from here! You'll see what I'm saying. Very helpful and polite staff and although it took them a minute to make my meal, it was all made right then. Nothing that I noticed was really pre-made. I would absolutely come here again. I would highly recommend coming here if you're looking for some really good Mexican food

Second time here while visiting the area, so glad they are still here as we have been wanting to come back. Some of the best food I have ever eaten, was so good we missed taking a pictures. Large portions and all homemade and extremely flavorful.

Best nachos around! They use black beans which are actually super tasty unlike most places. I get them without meat but their meats are very good if that's your thing. Kinda good I don't live closer or I'd be eating way too much food 🤪

One of the blessings of living in California is access to good Mexican food everywhere you go. Didn’t expect to find an authentic Oaxacan spot in Middleton CA on my road trip to Lake County. It’s counter service, and the woman behind the register was very sweet and friendly. She gave service with a smile. Limited English, so speak in Spanish if you can. I ordered the Tlayuda which was around $22. It came in a pizza box. Small kitchen so it took about 20 minutes for my order. Loved the generous serving of chorizo, the thinly cut steak, and the delicious salsa that came with it. I’d order this again. Nice to know there’s an immigrant-run restaurant serving the local community here.

This place is delicious. They server authentic Oaxacan cuisine and we are so lucky to have it close by!

Having visited twice, the food here is good, mostly the staff is very nice, but waiting for food orders is common. Unfortunately, one staff member's unprofessional behavior, specifically touching her hair and face after retrieving food, led me to decide it would be my last visit. I did speak to another staff member about the issue. Maybe in the future we may return but for now we will look for a new Mexican restaurant.
