Been there forever . Its a fixture. If you want a yummy greasy egg roll, this is your spot. Hot and sour soup is very decent too. Fried rice is less flavorful than plain white race . All the other dishes I've had are average. But egg rolls and hot and sour soup are where it's at.

Its not the best kept as far as appearances but its the best price u get plenty and it's gud!. I can eat 3 times off one plate. its been in the same spot for more than 15 years. Soo... That's saying something for a stand alone Chinese joint. U know not inside a food court or strip mall. Drive up service is fast enough not to hv to call in but u can. Try it. Enjoy the soups too 😘

This has always been my go to Chinese food restaurant for YEARS even when other people talked bad about them‼️‼️ Food is always fresh but lately the quality of the sauces and gravy seem watered down! The PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS NOW and they give you less food now... They charge you extra for peas, onions and carrots in your rice, extra for egg(I think $1.25 each) .. What Bothered me the most was I ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young, that's comes with brown gravy, apparently they didn't have the gravy that day so they asked me would I take the other sauce (Some darker sauce that tasted better than the gravy that comes with it) So the next time I ordered SEFY, I asked for the other sauce, they said they have to charge me a $1 for it‼️🤬🤬 I said ,if that's how it is, y'all should have took $1 OFF when y'all didn't have the gravy.. Also I wanted to get fries instead of rice , AGAIN the owner said they have to charge $1.30 EXTRA to substitute Rice for fries... THE OWNER Has GOTTEN VERY MONEY HUNGRY during the pandemic!!🤬🤬🤬 I just drive to Green Spring's now to CHOP SUEY INN(BEST EGG ROLLS IN TOWN)😋

The food was not good at Egg Roll Express today. I was told eggs and vegetables were an additional charge for the fried rice which was new to me but fine. However, the egg pieces were very large and the sweet barbecue wings were lacking in flavor. My cravings were disappointed today, but hopefully it was just today.

This is one of those places that you put up with the far from perfect interior to be in a place that's never crowded, peaceful and serves slightly higher than average food. The woman that took my order and served me was very nice and had a big smile. That always helps with ratings.

The food was great, most usual Chinese dishes available. The staff was friendly and the store was clean but could use a little remodel. The neighborhood is not the best after dark so I suggest a lunch trip. I would really love to see them move to a nicer location and run as a full scale restaurant instead of offering drive thru because the food really was tasty.

All I wanted to do was come have a meal with my family, but to my horror there was small ROCKS inside of the food. One got lodged inside of my husband’s tooth & it took hours to get out. I took pictures of the rock and tossed my daughters food into the trash. And one top of that the beef was old and chicken was hard. PLEASE DONT EAT HERE

Haven't tried this place in many years and decided to give it a shot tonight. I get home and got comfortable just to realize that in the meat portion, it's half-filled with rice underneath. I couldn't barely see it due to the sauce being mixed in. I went back for a refund. It wasn't a difficult process but the drive-thru was packed so we had to walk to the drive thru window. I suggest double checking your food before leaving the premises. Waste of gas and time.

Y’all do not come here!!! Their food isn’t good at all. Had some chicken wings that wasn’t thoroughly and they were pretty small. The rice tasted stale and they have horrible attitudes and customer service. People, long story short, DONT EVER EAT HERE!!!!

Food if they have it is always great. However the last three trips I have bought nothing. Going to Midfield from various parts of Birmingham which is always a good 20 minutes or more, I bought nothing because they never have pork. Either have food in stock or take it off the menu. Even called today and they won't answer the phone. Next step will be a lock on the door and an Out of Business sign in the window. Don't know that I will go again. Here again a couple of months later. Still no pork with garlic sauce. Been out last 5 times. Asked they still served it and she said yes, we are just out. Went elsewhere again. Believe I was lied to.

I DIDNT EVEN WANT TO GIVE ONE STAR... THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT!! Worst Chinese restaurant/ food ever!!! Every time I go there they always mess up my food. It's either half cooked or wrong. Their egg foo young is the all time most awful meal cooked and it's never cooked all the way through. I ordered rangoon and they gave me wontons(whatever that is, it nasty). I tried to taste the crust and its fried in old fish grease. And when you cant make hot and sour soup, that's a good bye. I wish the Asian family that originally owned it as still there. The people that has been running it for the last 5-6 years are not keeping up the reputation. Just go out of business already!!!
