It has been so long since I found a good fast food restaurant to give a 5 start rating you guys so deserve it thank you for the great service.

I just love Church's Chicken! I did, however, ask for MOSTLY thighs and that my order be spicy chicken and what I received was equal legs/thighs and regular instead of spicy. Seems Leo Getts (from lethal weapon movies) is proven correct, once again! Next time, I'll go inside and just ask for some spicy packets (which is what I "normally" {if you're able to call anything about me 'normal'!}do.)

It is what it is if you come in an hour before closing.... Girl up front is nice unfortunately lots of rude people come in. She is very helpful and is working with what she has. Again don't walk in at closing thinking your gonna get biscuits or the full menu

As usual, service at this location is slower than average for any fast food chain, but the food and value is amazing! If you get a chance, stop in and try out the jalapeno cheese bombers as they put everyone else's poppers to shame. I've never passed up an opportunity to eat at a Church's (even when I was in Florida and got to could have chosen to eat at "Daytona's finest Hooter's") as we don't have them back home.

Update: I wish I had gotten his name, but new attitudes at this store now. Well, the tall man is polite anyway. I’m glad to be able to visit here again 😊 Never again. The manager, Erica, was extremely rude telling me to go back to the speaker to order like I was a kindergartener! I was the only customer there just before 3p.m. The speaker has been usually not working for about a good year and after I stopped at the speaker anyway, no one spoke to me so I drove up. Then home office thanked me for my info. No compensation as most companies offer something for the inconvenience. I’ve been going to this store for over 40 years. I have a new spot now. The church’s in Odessa has nice employees. This manager has ruined a good thing.

As I walked in, I heard employees talking about one of their team members needing to wash their hands and calling him nasty.. Made me cautious and I watched to be sure that person wasn't the one getting my order ready.

This kinda older location run down a bit and have same issues with keeping people so food is poor quality a lot the time and lot times always low on lot times like strips and other things

They are poorly under staffed here. I waited over 30 minutes to be served. With that said, the staff that was working was very friendly and working hard. Shame on management for not scheduling more employees during busy times of the day. The food was good, and they even gave me a couple extra pieces of chicken for waiting so long.

The facility is run down and dirty looking. The cashier who served me was miserable and rude. But, I think l Church's Chicken is one of the best fried chickens you can buy, and the prices make it very good value.

I came through the drive thru around 6 after work yesterday June 29 the young lady taking order was extremely nice and patient as I didn’t know they were out of white meat and biscuits she made other suggestions “tender meal” however I was asked to pull around to the front of the build after waiting 15 min I walk inside no one is in the front then and a young girl comes up drinks from her cup then walks away smh I’m assuming a manger older lady comes and helps me with my order as multiple other employees stood around.The girl on drive through comes up hands me the sauces around the other employees standing there 20 min for 5 piece tender meal. Hire better help! Only two workers and a fry cook. Don’t go if your in a hurry!!!!! I gave a 3 star for the service on drive Thur and manager help!! lunch time don’t bother no one speaks English orders always wrong I stopped going in day a week ago

It's the getto...we asked for a five piece. Get a two piece and we had to wait 30 mins for the food. When we asked about more pieces "3" more. The guy looks at us like what I need to go get it. Made me wonder if they was running low. Not sure. Was not busy. Another car waited with us

Went there and as usual after 7pm there is hardly any chicken or anything else ready. Didn't feel like waiting 15 minutes for fresh chicken. Place is always dirty in lobby area. Doors locked that must not be. (Fire hazzard). Employees seem to lack happiness of working there, but if you do get a chance and get fresh chicken it's good. Love the chicken, just not the lack of anything being ready.

Workers were nice but the food was mediocre. The chicken tenders were lack of flavor. The gravy tasted horrible. Mixture of nasty water and not enough gravy mix. The biscuit would have been good if it wasn't so hard on the outside all I could get was the tiny portion in the middle. Ending on a good note, the mashed potatoes and brown gravy was good.

Who ever owns this need a good wake up call these employees are working hard to maintain this place ...I only blame management for this and also west texas low staffing ..but the struggle is real but my meal was warm

To be honest, I have always loved Church's chicken, my favorite fried chicken, in fact. However, the last few years, this one has slowly gone downhill. Do y'all even sell Mac and cheese anymore? The last 4 visits at various times of day, y'all haven't had any. Either take it off the menu or provide it. Friendly suggestion to managment, if you don't have something from an online order, is it really so hard to make a call and offer an alternative? If you truly don't have time because you are that slammed, when the customer gets there and requests or suggests something else don't sigh or cringe under your breath and say "yeah, I guess we can do that" then mess the sides up anyway. I understand that 3 hours before you close you may not sell out of everything but y'all's biscuits should always be on hand and don't tell the guest, who is standing there that you don't have any and will have to wait 20 min to get some when there is half a tray visible. I'm sure I will eat at churches but it will be a while. I pass Popeye's on the way to you. Even then, when i do return, the other store is only an extra few minutes away. Lastly, I apologize for taking so long to get there I know 30 minutes is a long time to wait to fill an order and I am taking that into consideration but with super greasy chicken, soggy corn, forgetting my coleslaw and the biscuit thing, I think we are even. The okra was good though.

I want to say thank the manager for trying her best. My order was still wrong. I had ordered 3-piece spicy chicken 2 mashed potatoes 2 mac and cheese 2 spicy wraps and coleslaw . I didn't get any mashed potatoes. Only reason I gave them a 3 is because the manager was trying her best other wise they would have gotten 1. Because this store service is really bad.

The staff is always in a bad mood. They are always out of different stuff on the menu, especially the spicy chicken, and quickness is something they surely lack. So disappointed.

Had to wait far too long after being asked to moved forward. There had to have been 10 vehicles get there order before we received ours then it wasn't even close to the order we had placed! Then when asked what the stores number is we was refused that information. I know it's on the receipt but it was so greasy we couldn't read it and was told it's our problem. I wouldn't refer that store to a hungry bumb. I would take him and feed him elsewhere!

Food wasn't what I ordered. When I asked for the correct order I was told it was correct. I paid for something and that's what I wanted. I get it that customer service turn over rate is high in fast food service... but maybe getting what I spent over $25 for might be a great way to start with customer satisfaction. I like Churchxs chicken so I give it a 2 stars. This experience wasn't worth that because of the frustration of being talked rude to and still not getting my order right. I don't recommend the drive thru! Very rude experience. Maybe next time will be a better experience. Thanks.

My experience today at Church's Chicken was horrible the lady on the headset had an attitude she didn't want to be at work today and then I look in there in the manager looks lost I have to pull around and wait for my food as I was waiting I noticed that the same lady that took my order brought some food out to another customer and she did not change her gloves she did not sanitized her hands and at the same time I watched another employee come in looking so dirty and filthy shirt not tucked in stains all over his clothes I don't recommend they need to be shut down permanently

Had me pull forward and park after I ordered, found out it was 3 people waiting as well. It took 10 minutes to get my food and they only had sweet tea which was disgusting.

Went back after they did so good. Big mistake. Chicken and box was super greasy. They not changing the grease enough that's why the chicken be greasy. Nasty

No customers and still taking 30 minutes in a chicken sandwich. A red head had an attitude, if you dont like to work there then get another job that simple.

At 330 in the afternoon the doors were locked and was instructed to use the drive through. There were no other customers and still had a 10 min wait before anyone would take our order. When we started to order everything onnthe menus was out. Worst customer service ever. Will never go here again.

If customer service could be a flavor, here it'd be disgusting! I never go to Churches anymore because they either give me attitude for no reason or they're out of everything! I hate that if I want chicken from here, it's half served with a side of mean looks and no customer service skills!

Would give it 0 stars if that was a option Got the 24 piece tenders meal it was only 4 the had no mac n cheese no sweet tea they only give you 5 dipping sauces for 24 tenders and gave me attitude to get them workers were in dirty clothes and wasn't wearing gloves only gave me 2 corn on the cob for a meal for 8 told me I would have to get back in the drive through line and pay for me worst business ever go to there other location on big springs there never out of anything

This Church's on Midlife is the worst. Service Food time it takes 30 or 40 minutes to get your food the workers including the manager looking like a hot Mess.not nice Awful..jorge pena you need to be conducting regular stops by your store epically at night

Hate this restaurant and the one in big spring St. Worst costumer service, way too long wait time, they never have inventory, when you're going for something especific like biscuits if they don't have it they don't even wanna give anything in exchange!! Both stores need changes on every department! Overall I don't feel like even going cause I'm already expecting a bad experience!!

Came to pick up an uber eat order and management threw me the cups told me to fill it up myself then after requesting to speak to manager the manager refused to give me the order and asked for me to walk out. Horrible personel and horrible customer service.

This place is horrible. Buying food here makes u feel like ur bothering the employees just to get what u paid for, and that's if they have it. If its 11:30am and the chicken place tells u they have no chicken, u should probably go elsewhere anyway.

Last time I came they were out of chicken tenders altogether. This time I sat at the drive thru speaker for 10 minutes while the drive thru person was on a personal call walking around my vehicle. When she hangs up she tells me to just go to the window. Then I sit at the window for awhile before she finally comes and asks me what I want. In the middle of me ordering she makes another phone call on her cellphone and walks off with my payment. Another employee hands me my change another 5 minutes later and tells me to park in front. 15 minutes after parking up front a friendly employee finally brings me the food. Never got a receipt.

This is about the worst Church's that I have been too. So disorganized. You have to wait at least 30 minutes to get your food but they do try but always short staffed. If they had more staff it would run a little smoother

Zero stars!!! Service was terrible. Ordered they charge my card and then they tell me they are out of wing...ok I'll take tenders...nope out....I say ok just refund my money well I'm informed it will take 7-10 days to get my refund...I then tell them to just give me whatever they have ready....ok but we have to make it first!!!! This is at 12 noon lunch time!!!! So I wait 20 minutes for my food. I will never go to another church's Chicken ever again!!!!

Went to get quick meal through drive thru they took my order. Asked me to pull to front of building. Waited 15 min then went to check on my food. They forgot about my order. They asked me to give them 5 more minutes. 10 min later finally got my order.

Went to get a family meal .the girl that worked there kept touching their face .and their hair was all over the place .Spent like 50 bucks the only hit was the math and tenders that they made . Will not go back to this Location

Called the store and they name is Josh and he answer the phone saying closed it was 6:35p it’s not a greatly appreciated and all manager need to trained employees before I’ll report to city of midland or a better business beaurs no expectations and very rude

Waited 15 minutes for chicken tenders that tasted like burnt oil and were hard. Bisquits were hard and burnt. French fries were hard. Were also short on mashed potatoes. Will never go back. Service was awful.

This place is ridiculous. Every time I go there they mess up my order and when I tell them it’s wrong they act like it’s my fault. Employees are rude, I walked in to a empty restaurant and was there about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and when they did they were rude. I have used the drive trough 30 minutes before closing time and they always say they are out of pretty much everything which makes no sense. If I could give a -5 review I would. I have no clue how this place is still open, don’t waist your time or your money here

Marvin working the speaker is so unprofessional. In his tone of voice he was unhelpful. I asked what the chicken came with and he said “25 minutes” negatively trying to discourage me from buying. Tell him to speak up! He’s whispering. This isn’t the cool guy contest. You’re at work! Getting paid. Probably should be getting paid on how many orders he puts out. That will change his attitude.

Horrible service! We pulled up to the drive thru and they greeted us but once we started to place the order they ignored us. We waited 5 minutes after saying our order and they still didn’t answer us. We repeatedly said hello and they didn’t acknowledge us. We pulled through to the service window and they just ignored us. They obviously don’t want to serve the customers and I am not about to order food from people who don’t even want to take a order. I’ll never at churches again!

Stopped coming here bc of horrible service then come to check it out after a couple months and service is still horrible! First I asked for a 16-piece mixed meal they gave me a 16-piece dark and when I went back they gave me attitude saying they were the only two there and they didn't have a cook and that was at 8:40 pm chicken was overcooked the mac and cheese was dried look like it's been in the warmer for more than a few hours

Sorry just sorry place. Drive through and nobody in the dining area still took them 10 minutes just to take my order. After that an attitude for telling them that they are taking long. Definitely needs improvement.

Worst experience ever! They were out of biscuits, then they were out of white meat, then tea and on top of that the cashier was arguing with customer and the cook was going in and out of walk in with the same gloves on! DISGUSTING!!! Cold Mac & cheese and burnt okra !!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Ordered XL Bombers. It came out cold and on top of that she gave me $1.00 less on my change. And when I went to complain, she told me I was lying. Instead of $5.15, she gave me only $4.15. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that she has stole money from. Never going back to this place again.

Some chicken burnt and uncooked I don’t know that’s possible but it’s wasn’t great

Very bad service. The line says not very busy but it is 11:35 we ordered our food to be ready at 11:20 and they just dropped the chicken saying it would be another 20 minutes. They didn’t have enough sides to fill the order we made and have left it setting on the counter for 30 minutes. The employees have been disrespectful to every customer coming in since I have been here, including going as far to say that they shouldn’t be this busy because it’s Mother’s Day and people shouldn’t be getting chicken. This branch needs to be review and it’s really disappointing since this is the one place my mother in law requested for lunch.

Extremely rude! I was very polite just wanted legs and thighs but was never asked what kind of meat they had. I notice on the receipt that i was given dark meat but was not informed they only had dark meat. I went inside to get a refund and was mocked for not knowing what mixed chicken means by the drive thru cashier even though it wasnt explained in the first place . Ive been told bad things about this place and I wanted to give them another chance but never again.

We went about 9 pm, the manager informed us that they only had okra, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw for sides. Ok, we ordered 2 family side of okra and was told they only had 1 so we ordered 1 okra and 1 coleslaw and 3 REGULAR jalapeños because they said they didn’t have jalapeño bombers. When we dove off I noticed they didn’t give me the coleslaw and instead of okra I was given BOMBERS! The bombers were hard and COLD! So we went back and was informed they didn’t have any okra and the employee just said “oh I got you next time” we left and went back but the manager insisted they gave them to us! She wanted to see what they had given us so we handed the bombers back and apparently she didn’t know they had given us the wrong old, cold bombers that they supposedly didn’t have! They refunded the money for the okra, I never received the jalapeños and they never gave us the original receipt! I haven’t been to churches in a very long time and I will not be going back! So unprofessional! The employees were so busy trying to close and get out they completely ruined my appetite!!!

Store opens at 10:30, well I guess when the manager, Nancy feels like opening the doors. Extremely rude, told us to come back in 5 at 10:35 so we left and came back, door still locked refused to open or even look at me at door. Finally mouthed we open at 11 and walked back into a room. Was going to drive off but saw her come to the door at 10:45 hmm thought u opened at 11? Was rude and short w me wouldn't give me her name or manager's name or number. I wouldn't of got food here but it wasn't for me. This place is always greasy and dirty like they don't know how to clean and staffs appearance also mirrors this.

Gehtto--->this one on midkiff. I'd be embarrassed if I were was managing this crew. The service was bad, chicken sandwich looked like someone sat on it, greasy, all 5 of my fries were actually really good. If only thet were a complete order of fries. Keep driving, don't stop.

I decide to go through the drive thru and there was 1 car infront of me. I waited over 5 minutes and the line wasn’t moving. I decide to get down and when I when I was about to order i asked if something was wrong with the drive thru and explained my situation. They had a look of discomfort and said they had an issue. Didn’t bother to apologize. My food was ready and No thank you or come back and see us. All I got was a disturbed look.

Placed order online, waited 40 minutes just because I know how incredibly slow they are, got to the store and my order still wasn't ready. Had to wait inside for another 15 minutes! Absolutely ridiculous!! I'll drive across town to Popeyes or Bush's instead from here in out smh

Second time there. First time they ignored me so I left. This time they answered but they have 0 customer service skills. Was hoping the first time was just a fluke but tonight confirmed this place has horrible customer service.... Lil girl with a black hoodie looks like she hates her job...

Horrible customer service this time around! I understand there might only be a couple of you working but please don’t take it out on the customers! They tock forever and a day to get to the intercom and then would take breaks in between my order, told me to pull of to the window when I wasn’t even done ordering, and then rolled her eyes and got mad when I added to my order at the window! Perk my food was ready really quick! She handed my order and I was asking her for some seasoning paquetes and she proceeded to CLOSE the window in my face and walk away!!

This location needs a full renovation. The staff are rude and dirty. They don't clean the kitchen or dining area. They skimp on your orders. They're combative and argumentative at all times. They need new management and employees asap!

I love Church's but this particular one never has spicy. If by a miracle of God they to have it you have to wait for them to make it. They take at least 30 min. To get your order out for the regular chicken.The drive-thru is always broken. Honestly church's chicken in Midland just suck.

i placed a order online, when my order was taken by someone that wasn’t my dasher the store refused to remake it, i called the store 4 times before someone picked up, she was very rude and unhelpful and said she couldn’t do anything about it. i’ve never experienced this at any church’s, that was unacceptable and yall should really work on the talking skills and your training for employees.

This place has lost its greatness. At 1 point, it was just so juicy, great flavor and everything on the menu was available. This one in midland just blows!! Fountain drink machine is broke, except for the one behind the counter. And they were only giving drinks and soda to friends, boyfriends and workers!! How sad is that!! And no white meat available. Only sides were okra and fries,, so they said. Just horrible!! Never again!!

There is enough staff, but they are all standing around. They don’t clean the dining area or make it inviting so you don’t dine in. Both restrooms say out of order, but they do work because I went in and used it and it worked just fine. They told a male that the restrooms didn’t flush and told him he had to use it at DK.

We tried ordering at the drive thru multiple times while the lady in the drive thru kept going silent on us and then yelled at us if we were ready to order (when we've been trying to it's not our fault their sound system is broken) and her attitude and tone was just extremely rude and aggressive the whole time. Every time we pull through there's a "30 minute wait" on the spicy chicken family meal, even though this time we went and there was nobody else there, and their chicken is cold and mediocre.

Walked in at 3:45pm Feb,7th 2026. Im guessing they were doing shift change or something but the shift that was there prior to me getting there was just complete trash if you ask me. I did a mobile order showed up 5 minutes after the time I set and still had to wait 25-30 minutes smh im assuming the manager did show up cause things did start happening but still it was the worst service and negative environment with rap music blaring throughout the place. The ice machine was completely empty so I just didnt even get a drink because I was so done with it smh. If them boys were doing what they're supposed to be doing like keeping things cleaned and stocked up like the ice machine and all then id understand the wait but they weren't doing a damn thing when I got there. The younger Hispanic guy at the counter was doing way better at easing the situation then the manager was. IVE BEEN IN HOSPITALITY FOR 16 YEARS AND THIS WAS THE WORST EVER... GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE 👏

What’s the point of ordering online AHEAD of time, when you get there to pick it up and still have to WAIT! Y’all fast food joints love playing in customers face.

I ordered online and was told ordered would be ready 5 waited 30 minutes after getting there and didn’t get my food ready till I asked multiple times but served everyone else was told they had oven problems so where no biscuits which my order came with 5 and where unwilling to help by swapping in anyways gave no solutions to help at all terrible service where just walking back in forth not taking anyone’s order in line

I waited over 40 minutes for my order, and you'd think with that kind of wait, the food would at least be fresh. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The chicken wasn’t hot, the okra was burnt, and the corn came out cold. Really disappointing experience—especially after such a long wait.

Bad parking to start off Dirty restaurant even though there was no one else inside eating. Some of the chicken was cold, there was no ice and drinks were all flat.

I didn't know that you could make mediocre fried chicken, but Church's has done it. Well, I assume it's chicken. The texture is the same as chicken, and the breading had the perfect crisp to it, but it.. didn't taste... at all, really. Oh, the people were excellent, and considering how long you wait to get it, we were expecting something really great. Now, I haven't tried the spicy or sauced versions of their chicken, but if your original doesn't have taste, I'm afraid I don't trust you with the more important things in life. Looking back, we would have been better off with a rotisserie chicken from Walmart, or any grocery store, really. Frozen chicken strips tend to turn out better, and you generally wouldn't have to wait as long to get them, even if you have to run to the store first.

How can I start well for one? My chicken was cold. I did not get half of my order. And the macaroni container was melted And they served it to me the mashed potatoes was watery. The biscuits taste like they were made yesterday. And then don't get me started whenever you called the store Nobody answers the phone. Me and my family We will not be eating here ever again.

Walked in about 20 minutes ago a they told us they aren’t open until 1:40! ? What kind of time is that? But yet there’s a full crew of employees a the whole restaurant smelt like old mop water. This needs to be looked at by corporate.

I would really love to give 0 stars on this review. I did an online order and my husband went and picked it up. I ordered 1 3 piece original and 1 3 piece spicy, we got 2 3 piece original. Chicken was over cooked and super dry, the Okra was awful and the mashed potatoes and gravy weren't even half full. I ordered a large white gravy at 1.09 and my husband was informed they didn't have white gravy and was not offered a refund. I ordered a large order of fries and when my husband got home no 4.50 order of fries. So I guess the store gets a 5.59 profit. My husband got a meduim unsweet tea which wound up being sweet tinted water. The employees were also very rude. We will never go back to churches. Not a good way to run a business.

June 4, 2024 on a Tuesday went to churches we had the worst service that I have ever experienced. Their loving church is so much. This was the worst raw chicken sandwich the number five hard toasted bread disgusting flavor. My husband ordered two breast chicken, dried burnt crisp we just were so disappointed walked out paid $22. The worst food ever

we came to this business for food, coming from California traveling here. the staff was rude with attitude, this restaurant didn’t have Mac and cheese and they didn’t even have utensils. horrible service. won’t ever come here. We have to eat the mashed potatoes with our hands 🙄

For many years this place is is simply awful. I do a lot of traveling and I am always shocked with the difference in service you can get anywhere else! Even in la mesa tx, or lubbock no matter where you go it's just going to be better. Their drive through was ran over a few months ago possibly over a year its literally vent over falling apart they still haven't replace it. The whole parking lot is always dirty and with pot holes. They hire the worst people with the worst customer service skills. They always take forever to answer, they are loud rude and sometimes use profanity. Once you pay they ALWAYS make you park to get your food. The wait time is somewhat absurd. I'm curious as to how their sales in this particular franchise are like. Because they're really awful. The quality of the food is, well a franchised churches chicken thank God. But this is never my first or second or even third choice for fast food. If the service was better it would be. But it's a midland thing really, it's hard getting quality employees, I get it. But upper management should step up already this has gone on for too long

People are very rude at this place. I ordered 16 tenders three sides two drinks they were out of corn. They were out of okra. They were out of brown gravy. The heavyset girl that I guess is a manager was very disrespectful. I end up getting a return on my food, and the tables were very nasty. The floors were gross, this will be the first and last time I ever eat at this place. I wish I could give it zero stars but unfortunately Google hasn’t got to that point yet Midland people suck at restaurants.

Ordered a 10 piece mixed, came out completely as expected. Also ordered a 3 piece with drums only. The 3 drums were completely raw, and 3 out of the 4 honey butter biscuits that came with the 10 piece were so raw the dough stuck onto your finger. The employee at the window was really nice and very sweet and so were some of the other employees. This was around 7pm 1/18/20. Also the microphone on the drive thru menu is barely working.
