This place has really made leaps and bounds from what it was a year ago, if I need a quick bite between jobs or a place to go a drink coffee while finishing paper work at the end of the day this is my first choice. Tara and day crew at Dennys has me covered, and the lumberjack slam is hard to beat.

The food was pretty good! Our server, Mia was very friendly and social. The restaurant was pretty understaffed, yet Mia still seated us, grabbed our order and served us. We even got free hashpuppies! (I believe that's what they're called) It was a very smooth and relaxing experience. :)

Came into the restaurant on a busy Sunday morning, all the servers were kind and friendly, greeted us as soon as we walked in the atmosphere was great, food was really good, came out in a timely manner, I really appreciate how attentive everyone is. Literally it is a fily environment with actual mom and daughter team representing first class service. Food is excellent. Restaurant may be a bit older but it is always clean. Visited this location for breakfast!!! I had the T-Bone Steak with soft scrambled eggs and hash browns. The steak was excellent. I ordered medium well. The texture was great and it was tasty and juicy. I had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager Sara. She was very courteous, friendly and professional. I will definitely make this location my go to spot for a delicious steak. My server Nicole was prompt and very friendly. She never let my cup go empty.

Your server tonight was a machine. He never stopped grinding. Your cook made all my food quickly abd everything tasted perfect. This place is accomplishing a lot with a small work force.

I haven’t been to Denny’s in a long time, but I’m so glad that we went. The food was fantastic. The service was so good the new manager even came out I saw her greeting customers given them coffee the whole staff worked phenomenally together. My husband and I haven’t been to a Dennys restaurant in many years. We are so pleased and happy with the staff and the service, everyone was super nice greeted us right when we walked in the door. Didn’t take but maybe a minute to get us sat down, and our order taken. We are accustomed to having to wait for our meals, but here at this Dennys our meals came out in a timely manor and was super delicious. We very much enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. Also wanna give a huge shout out to our waitress Nicole, you were so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Even making sure my bacon was crispy, thank you so much!! You are amazing!! We had family in for the holidays and there was 11 of us. We were seated quickly. The young lady that sat was very polite. I have to say with as many of us and the different types of food ordered, all our food was great both hot and delicious. We enjoyed both the great service and the delicious food we came back two more times. The manager Tara even came by and asked how everything was, we told her everything was great the food was fantastic and the service was amazing she was really nice. With it being such a busy time of the year, it was refreshing, and enjoyable. My family and I will be returning and I will highly recommend Denny’s. Thank you

I don't usually go to Denny's because I haven't had the best experiences in the past but this Denny's is so good. The cooks put out good food everytime and the service is always great. They seem short staffed so there's sometimes a wait in the mornings but it's worth it if you want friendly servers and inexpensive skillets. I enjoy my time there. They're better than they were in the past. Both Midland and Odessa's Denny's have been really good lately. Recommended!

This place has gotten so much better recently. Server was friendly, food was good, and when something extra was added on accident to our ticket the manager (i think her name is Tara?) was super nice and fixed it instantly. Will return as long as this manager and staff are there !

This was one of the best Denny's locations I have eaten at yet! When me and my husband entered this establishment, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, despite how busy they looked! We were quickly seated by a lady named Lisa and our order was taken by Carmen! Everybody had been attentive to us while we ate. Not once did we have to call them over for refills or anything else! There were two men in the back who cooked our food to perfection and in a timely manner. Everybody worked together so splendidly and the manager was up there helping out the staff when needed, unlike previous restaurants I've dined at. Overall, this is a 10/10 experience and I'd recommend to anybody who asked to dine here! It was absolutely an amazing experience and I give props to the Midland, TX Denny's staff for providing their services to my husband and I!

The food tasted delicious and they were so friendly and inviting… It felt like home away from home. Quiet, empty, warm. We got in and we’re instantly greeted by a smile, from the Night Manager Raquel. We picked the booth we wanted, and had some decaf coffee freshly brewed and served. Raquel was not only our server for the night, but also Denny’s Manager! She was excellent, and super attentive. Food was fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly! Portions were awesome as well. If you’re craving Denny’s in Midland, this one is solid.

The ladies bathroom could have been cleaner, though in fairness it was the end of the breakfast rush. I doubt the staff could have had a chance to clean it. Well I had forgotten all about Denny's till I saw it and I don't live in Midland. I just work here. Well I live here while I work here but either way I forgot that I could eat there at any time of the day which was amazing again to me all over again and so I did and when I went there I didn't know that they made a grand slam burrito. No utensils needed lol and it was yummy so I went there again and everybody else is closed. I'm enjoying myself like I'm at home wherever that is, but that was amazing to me to ReDiscover Denny's thank you Denny's. Its sad that corporate mgmt cannot keep the air conditioning fixed. Won't make any $ without proper environment for employees and customers. IHOP has you beat. Heard many Denny's were closing. I can see why. IHOP has you beat on the food, service, good environment.

Place is a little run down. Floor was sticky everywhere you walked. Had an industrial fan in front of the cashiers stand for some reason. There were also lots of flies in the restaurant.

7 of us went to have lunch. We had just left the courthouse where my daughter got married. Like other reviews mentioned. It was eye rolls and no eye contact with anyone. Finally we were acknowledged and sent to the back to dirty tables. Drinks came out quickly. Had to ask for refills. Food took a good while to come out. My skillet was barely warm. The cheese looked aged. But it was tasty. The manager was a wonderful person with us. The decor is typical Dennys retro. Most likely will not be back.

Had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Only 4 customers eating. They didn't gave straws. Had to clean my own seats with my only napkin. Napkin was brown after cleaning. Asked 3 times for more napkins. Poststing this before food arrives. Will post with photos later. Well scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and sausage links cold. Will take home n heat up later. No syrup for pancakes. Waitress never returned to check on us.

Went in hoping to enjoy the rare breakfast out occurrence with my husband, only to be seated then ignored for nearly 30 minutes. Nobody came to take our orders, or bring us any drinks. We witnessed multiple people have to track a waitress down themselves because no one had been told there were guests, or be ignored altogether when trying to find a waitress. We ended up leaving without being served or even spoken to.

It was a bad experience. We never leave a restaurant, but we did this time around. We got sat pretty quickly. Once we got to the table, we waited about 20 minutes, and it wasn't even busy, and a couple of waitresses would walk by and not even greet us, or let us know they would je right with us. Right after 2 guys got sat down, and they got assistance right away. That's when we decided to get up and go. By that time, it's been 30mins and nothing. They didn't even notice we left.!

This place is filthy. They don’t clean tables. The food was cold. They even messed up the pancakes and I think that’s supposed to be pre mixed! Bathroom is gross. Stay on the highway and don’t get off the beaten path. I should have read the reviews before exiting the freeway.

If I could put zero stars I would!! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a dennys! I sat for 1.5 hours without our food or servers checking on us! You ask why we didn’t walk out? Because we were here from Houston for a graduation and had the graduate with us! This manager on duty was absolutely terrible. Excuse after excuse. Our food came out cold and wrong even after waiting for as long as we did! And the damn manager didn’t even know the menu! If you can’t handle the business shut the damn doors and turn people away!

I tried to place an order online several attempts the other morning before getting ready to take kiddos to school. The website refused so I called it in. Order was called in by 6 am and was suppose to be ready by 630. I got there around 620 and only 1 customer was inside eating, but they hadn't even started my order! At 638 I told them I have to leave in 2 minutes with or without food. They rushed and provided most of my order. Only 1 item left and when I asked how much longer the staff gave me grief about it. So I said never-ending and ran out so I didn't get the kids to school late. What a ridiculous restaurant. I've ordered from there about 5 times in the last 6 months. The 1st order was the only one that was right. The 2nd order I was served hard frozen waffles and French toast. Awful, and when I called about it I was told I could come back and get more. I wasn't able to come back and they should've offered a refund but didn't. Same thing as a couple days ago when I had to leave without my entire order I should've received a refund or at least a partial refund. I mean right is right. I will never spend money at another Denny's. Avoid the one on wall street at all costs people. Don't waste your money or time.

If I could give 0 stars I would! We waited 45 minutes for a drink order after we ORDERED a waitress. Then we wait an extra 45 minutes before they decide to come out and tell me my order is still frozen and just now being taken out of the freezer. We proceed to tell them we will pay for our drinks and leave and let me tell you how dramatic they acted. They were trying to get us to stay because the guys food was ready, but mine was still frozen. We keep telling them no and the MANAGER proceeds to charge us for the food we never received!!! So they all got reported to corporate and we are waiting on our refund. Customer support was really nice and understanding, but we will never be back again. Oh and by the way they also fake reviews Sara Hedges was the manager that was so rude and disrespectful to us. I don’t know how she still holds that position.

I visited this location three weeks ago, and after thinking about what I saw, I had to write a review. My party of three sat down at a booth in a relatively empty restaurant. Our server came to take our drink order, and was very cold and blunt in her manner. You could tell she was not a fan of us for whatever reason. She delivered our drinks and took our order, and the only friendly thing she did was smile at my friend's baby as she walked away. We never saw her again. Just under 30 minutes later, our food was delivered by a much nicer lady. She refilled our drinks, and fixed the mistakes with our food. The food was ok, arrived hot at least. I went up to the counter to pay, and I could see into the kitchen from there. It was a sloppy, filthy, walls-stained-with-food mess. Not like someone hadnt cleaned up the night before dirty, but like hadn't had a good cleaning in 6 months dirty. I felt ill. I might go back and try to take a picture to post, it was that bad. This place makes Waffle House look like a good choice. Please dont eat here if you can avoid it. I know it's Denny's, but damn.

The most disgusting chairs full of grease and dirt. The sides of the table as well. By the windows and condiments all full of grease of months or years of neglect... this place needs to have the waitresses clean the handles the tables the windows the chairs and side of tables before ending their shift.. ornrotaring days. Nut those tables walls and booths and chairs and windows need to be cleaned at least twice a day.. the syrup and ketchup had pil and dirt on them. I just can't get over the chairs. And walls.. the grease and dirt stuck together. Please manager, just have your waitresses clean before their shift ends instead of sitting on the booths for the next customers.....

Probably the most disgusting restaurant I’ve been in. The floors were completely trashed, none of the tables were cleaned off and the bathroom was filthier than most port-a-potties. After waiting to be seated for a long time we figured if what we see looks like that image what the kitchen looks like, so we left. Management should all be fired at this location!!!!!

Ive been sitting in a booth with my family for 2 1/2 hours and still have not gotten our food. This is crazy. Very unhappy and will not be back. Food came after 2 hrs 45 min and was cold as ice and wrong and my daughters good never came. I left went across the street to dairy queen and had food in under 3 mins that was exactly what we ordered, hot, and delicious. Never going back to Denny's

The management is very rude and disrespectful and they had sewer water back flowing through one of the drains onto the dining floor no staff did anything to stop it or shut down the restaurant while sewer water was flooding into the restaurant

The cooks and servers were so rude. The whole time I was here I saw customers being treated very rude. The food was ok but with the experience I just had I will never be coming here again. Don’t come here unless you wanted to be yelled at. One of their customers were speaking in Spanish and the lady thought he wanted a menu but she couldn’t understand him and told him that he can just sit there and not be helped ,one water was very aggressive l and had no manners. These works do not know how to interact with customers.

I don’t like writing negative reviews; however, this was probably the worst Denny’s we have ever eaten. The lady who greeted us was quite surly, didn’t smile, and plopped menus down at our table. Apparently, she was angry that she was the only server on duty for the day as the other servers had not shown up. The entire time you could tell that she was angry that she was even there. Apparently the same thing happened in the kitchen, as my omelette was overdone, greasy, and the bacon was so crispy, it was like chewing gravel. My hubby‘s scrambled eggs were hard and tasteless and his toast was basically burnt. This is one Denny’s that I would never recommend.

Not many people in the place and the servers act like they’re in the weeds on a Friday night at 2:30am. Line of 4-6 people at the entry. One man was just at the counter to check in for seating and the server very rudely told him to go sit down and she’ll get to him in a minute. He said “I’m just checking in” the. Within ear shot she says “just trying to bite my tongue!” Seriously? You work in the service industry and you’re perturbed that you have customers to serve? Isn’t this how you make a living? In their defense, it looked like they had only 2 servers for a Sunday morning, that’s ridiculous but, I bet the mgt was off relaxing, and not their to help their team out. People start walking out to leave and it’s like “good, less people” but isn’t tips how you make a living? This was my second experience here and the first one wasn’t great either. Hard pass and go find a nice hospitable Mexican breakfast or do IHOP, Cracker Barrel.

Not a good experience. Unfortunately, I did not read other reviews before I stopped in. I went in at 6 AM, was the only customer in the place. Got seated and the waiter came, brought coffee and water. He took my order and that is basically where everything ended. He did refill me and check in on me, but my food order never came. After 30 minutes he talked to the cook, then mentioned it to the manager, who seemed not to be too concerned. After 45 minutes I figured nothing was going to happen as my order never showed up. I let the manager know then I left. Won't go back.

Service or waiter did their part. Food service was slow, food was cold and not completely cooked. Building was hot and was told AC and heater were both broken.

Food took over 90 minutes. The place had two other people in there. When I finally got it. Fries were cold and limp, and the sandwich was not toasted and soggy. I literally was served 1 slice of deli ham in my Moons over my Hammy.

He did not get his plate till after a table of 4 got there's and theirs was wrong. The waitress was more worried about her phone and people was all over the place because her phone came first. Horrible place to eat! Definitely wouldn't recommend! Short staffed, 1 cook, and when my food was brought out, eggs were over cooked so I told them and they were upset about it not being to my liking, which I ordered sirloin steak and eggs. So then I go to eat the hash browns and had alot of burnt stuff left from grill along with the steak, which I scrapped off and showed the waiter, and asked if the have a cleaner grill. He replied thats as good as it gets! Don't waste your money here, its just not worth it! (I normally eat at home but im traveling for work) I give 0 ⭐️ but it's not an option!!

I'm not sure whatever waitress I got but it was terrible I asked for an orange juice and never got it so I asked her again for an orange juice and never got it this was about 30 minutes and whenever I was in there I had caught in my food served about sewn 30 minutes and they got most of my order wrong and the food kind of tasted off to me I asked for an extra egg because it said it was for a dollar somewhere on the menu they charge me $4 for one extra egg I asked the manager about it she said that that wasn't true and still made me pay the $4 after I got two of the $1 eggs it came with something else in it but she still made me pay for it that way after I asked them about it and still was rude about it I gave up eventually and just paid the extra money and left if y'all see the $1 egg that comes with another platter don't get it manager won't believe you and still charge you the extra money. And yet still never got that orange juice too that I asked for about almost a million times My daughter was upset.

Waited for 10 minutes to be served and then they brought me just one cup of coffee even though I asked repeatedly for refill but they were either extremely short-handed or really untrained. Eitherway, the food wasn't good. The dish, cup and silverware weren't fully clean. As a fan of Denny's, I'm deeply disappointed. Won't try this branch again.

I know Denny’s isn’t a top notch eatery, but lord has this place fallen off the rails. Food was lukewarm, had to wait 10 minutes for coffee and the waitress acted like she would have rather been on fire than serving food. Do yourself a favor and hit a drive through. Absolutely horrible.

I visited your Denny’s location this morning with my mother. While our server was very kind and helpful, I was deeply disturbed by the way the cook treated her. The cook was rude and yelled at the server using vulgar language in front of customers. If I were the server, I would have quit. This behavior reflects poorly on management for allowing such conduct. We chose to leave after witnessing this interaction. I believe the Hispanic lady in the kitchen needs to develop patience, respect, and understand that teamwork is essential in this environment. Being paid more does not justify disrespecting others.

I wanted to share an experience my daughter and I had during our visit this morning. We were greeted by a kind African-American server who was working alone and appeared very busy but still acknowledged us. We remained patient, but we observed a Hispanic lady enter the kitchen and begin yelling orders at the cooks and, most concerningly, at our server. The server was told to hurry up in a disrespectful manner in front of other customers. This treatment was inappropriate and embarrassing for the server. We believe the management should address this behavior and promote respect, patience, and teamwork among staff. Due to this incident, my daughter and I decided to leave without finishing our meal. We left a tip for the server, whose professionalism deserved recognition despite the unpleasant situation. Please consider this feedback to improve the working environment and customer experience.

Look I was her working out of town from Waco TX. Simplest meals I ordered. A chicken salad for me and the chicken fried steak for my wife. Had to re enter just for my drink and bread for the meals. Normally I wouldn't have been upset but I was the only customer in the store. Croutons are stale salad is hot very little chicken. Chicken fried steak meal tasted like it had been under a heat warmer. And the order of garlic bread 🤯
