The sandwich was super fresh & delicious and it brought me back to my college years in Michigan. You can't go wrong with the Ultimate Porker & Turkey Tom!! The staff was super friendly and I look forward to going back soon, truly love having JJ in our neighborhood!

The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. I always get the beach club on wheat. Their wheat bread is good too - it has sunflower seeds and other ingredients in it. $9.99 plus tax.

Amiable staff and good quality, especially when they made subs. 10/10 customers service 10/10 food (before you judge, please check the menu so if you like their subs)

One of my all-time go-to's for fresh and delicious sandwiches. I used to be a JJ's delivery driver back in 2012 in Philadelphia. I would deliver sandwiches, come back to the store and munch on the bread. Sometimes I think back on those days and smile. I had it so good.

Jimmy John's dropped by our apartment lobby to give us samples of their sandwiches. I must say they were amongst the tastiest sandwiches I have eaten. The bread was so soft. Definitely going to be a repeat customer.

I, personally, think the bread is what makes a sandwich great and the sub bread at Jimmy Johns was just bland and slightly over done at the bottom. I ordered The Pepe, a simple ham and cheese with lettuce and tomato and a cookie. It was weird that the bottom of the bread was hard and crispy. The ham and cheese didn’t add too much flavor either. All together it just tasted like a bland sub. The cookie was pretty standard.

Be prepared for your order to arrive in 5 mins or an hour. Sometimes they’re waiting for pickup and if you call, you’ll at least get an update. Other times they will randomly set up delivery through uber eats, and then it takes 25-35 minutes for delivery AFTER getting picked up because they make stops along the way, which is wild. We live 0.5miles from the location.

Every time I place an order online , it’s always ready when I get there. I love my Vito but not today. I could hardly wait to get home to eat my sandwich. But not today, my Vito did not have any mayo when I requested extra mayo, nor did it have any oil and vinegar. It barely had lettuce. This is not my usual juicy delicious Vito. I guess everyone has a bad day.

I only came to this spot because I had a promotion code. I have been to Jimmy John's before and enjoyed my experience, this time not so much. I ordered my turkey sandwich through the app and that was simple. When I arrived I was able to find parking out front. When I walked in I told the man I was there to pick up my order and the man pointed to it. There I see my sandwich chilling with no bag, no napkins or utensils. I had to ask for a bag smh. When I got the car I looked at the sandwich and it was pathetic looking. It barely had turkey on it. Thank God I had a promo because I'll pass ln coming back.

The whole point of Jimmy John’s is their “freaky fast delivery” but if they can’t get the delivery order right, what’s the point? My order and receipt explicitly state “napkins, cut in half, add mustard” and I even named each order after the specs for each sandwich (one was “EZ Avo” and one was “Onions”). My items arrived unlabeled, uncut, no napkins, no straws, no mustard, and the drinks were not distinguished between Coke vs Diet Coke. Why should I have to open the sandwiches to see which one has onions? And neither sandwich ended up having any avo. Why would you send a delivery with no straws? Luckily I’m home and can pour the drink into my own cups but what if I wasn’t? I have been having a lot of similar issues with this location lately making it incredibly frustrating to spend nearly $40 for 2 mediocre, incorrect sandwiches, and drinks that cannot be drunk.

I get charged 2.68$ extra for "extra avocado" and there barely isnt any. I go back to let them know they didnt add extra avocado for Johaziel to tell me there is and try to explain to me that there is extra avocado in here. They put a lick of avocado between the cheese too that apparently was also "extra". Didnt even offer to add the extra avocado i paid for. Horrible service and Brittany was trying to back him up too. Update: used the link jimmy johns sent me in the message below to send feedback just to get this. "Thank you for contacting Jimmy John's. I apologize that you are disappointed with your recent experience. "Thank you again for providing us with your feedback, so we may improve our service for future visits. Have a great day!" From Heather Hayden So pointless, definitely take your business else where.

I use to love Jimmy John’s. If you looked at my purchase history I was a twice a weeker. I live up the block and use to get them on the regular… but woah. This is just not edible. See picture for what I threw away and I was hungry. Like hungry, hungry. See the picture. I’ll admit I did try to find the edible parts but the 5 grain bread was like it wasn’t actually cooked or defrosted. It was like a sponge. All dough. I’m tried the lil John turkey and never again. I understand the concept of a mini but I had no clue that meant 1 slice of Turkey (literally one tiny slice of Turkey) on a piece of bread with nothing else on it for $6.75!! What a joke. I know it says nothing else on it but even the picture shows more than one tiny slice of meat. The sad part is I was very hungry, but I just couldn’t eat it. Lots of options out there. Really wish they would put online order pickups in some sort of device that keeps various foods cold. I scheduled a pickup order roughly an hour in advance. They made my sandwich almost immediately, like I appreciate the effort and hustle here folks but I can’t pick it up for an hour. Now this part I can’t hold against them, but I got held up at work and had to wait an extra hour. So by the time I got to the store here my food had been waiting on a counter for 2 hours that I had to throw out because the meat and mayo reeked something fierce by the time I got to it. (Best case scenario, even if I were able to go on my lunch on time that means my sandwich would’ve been sitting on a counter for an hour… still not ideal, would very much like for the food I order be made at the time I specify it getting made) Now if only there were an invention the could keep food refrigerated.

Increased prices which I understand but you should see the staff put vegetables on it. It feels half the size in my fist compared to before. No. 6 feels like you are chewing on a loaf of bread. All Central Jersey locations should down. This is about to be next. I see new faces in there so not sure if management/ownership changed.

The Jimmy John's of Jersey City serves grossly overpriced subs that are so skimpy I'm surprised that they are still in business. I paid $52.41 for 2 large subs, 2 cookies and 1 pickle. The price would have been okay if the food quality and quantity matched the price point. I received a barely-there turkey and bacon sub and a tuna sub that was so lacking in tuna that it was basically a big bread sandwich. I expressed my concern about the insufficient meat to bread ratio 2 separate times, but the sandwich maker ignored me regarding that issue. He did hear me because he removed tomatoes when I asked him to. (Unfortunately, I had to come home and open a can of tuna to add enough filling to the tuna sub, and I had to add cheese to the turkey club in order to serve those two sandwiches to my family.) That's a failure on behalf of the Jimmy John's. The cashier, Brittany was polite. The J.C. store is dingy and dated and the food to price ratio is unacceptable. Jimmy John's of Jersey City, N.J. fails to deliver a decent sandwhich for the prices they charge. The $2.50 chocolate chip cookie was okay, the $2.50 oatmeal cookie was stale, and the $2.50 pickle was actually great. To sum it up, I wasted nearly $53 at the Jersey City Jimmy John's Sub Shop today. If you want good sub sandwiches that give you what you PAY for, buy your sub sandwiches at Jersey Mike's instead. Stay clear of this Jimmy John's unless you are looking for high-priced hunks of bread.

This is the second time I have tried to order delivery. The first time their “freaky fast” estimate was an hour……because they no longer do their own delivery. The second time? Thru Uber Eats…No idea where out food is….can’t contact the driver or the restaurant…straight to voicemail. Will be getting a refund and ordering from Jersey Mikes….which is further away & yet successful. May as well close shop guys….you won’t survive with these already cost cutting measures

To MShepherd. I bet I know what you look like because that worker you described tends to ignore certain customers, if you know what I mean. Yeah, stay away from Jimmy John's in Jersey City. There are loads of great sandwich places in this city that will appreciate your business and value you as a customer. Veloce Specialty Sandwiches, No Forks Given, Our Hero, The Little Sandwich Shop, and Mordi's Sandwich Shop are just a few places to buy great tasting sandwiches in Jersey City! Good luck and good eatin' somewhere else!

Update Aug 2023 ...the owners of this location are a complete fraud and scam artist. That is why they have a low 3.5 rating. And google is helping them. My original post has been edited by google. They deleted the picture I posted. I never ordered any mini sandwich. But what you will receive when you order a regular sandwich here is smaller than a dollar bill. Shame on you. Summer of 2022 = The smallest sandwiches you will ever see.
